SYSTEMATIC MARKETING CAMPAIGN AGAINST TREATMENT OF WIDOWS IN NIGERIA.
On Wednesday may 13th 2009, Nigerians were treated to an absurd drama, which exposed the fragility of our social system and further challenged the rule of law in Nigeria. Ref; http://www.sunnewsonline.com.
The event no doubt was a brazen assault on the sanctity of the Nigerian constitution unfortunately the response of the civil society was callous luke warm and uninspiring. The plight of widows in Nigeria has always given the organization food for thought more so, the ever increasing brazen acts of society’s inhumanity to women when they loose their husbands to the cold hands of death irrespective of the circumstances leading to the death of their spouses.
We at resources development motivators (RDM) a non- for- profit organization (Non governmental organization NGO) based in Lagos- Nigeria with a proven track record for fund raising has come into this field of endeavor to take up the gauntlet of championing and fighting this social menace affecting the fate of the average female widow in Nigeria and African Woman in Diaspora, suffice it to say that we at RDM also profer advises on how basic developmental projects can be implemented and executed for and on behalf of the beneficiaries thereby making them socially, economically and financially empowered to stand up to there God giving rights as Human beings regardless of there cultural differences and values which after extensive careful evaluation and logical deductions are been considered to be retrogressive, backward and negative inclined.
Resources development motivators with it offices situate at Lagos-Nigeria and working in conjunction with some International/Global community based development agencies has been in this business of raising fund for philanthropic and charitable causes for the past seven years and has on its board of Directors/Trustees Women and Men of integrity and honesty in there respective chosen careers and have considered this honorable duty as there perception of social responsibility to society at large.
We are of the opinion that having fully adumbrated and sensitized you on the adverse effect of widowhood in Nigeria, we are soliciting and Generating funds and resources to help rehabilitate these second classed citizens in our country Nigeria so that they can also appreciate the essence of living as enumerated by our creator and equally bequeathed with a sense of belonging without feeling alienated and disenfranchised.
RDM has been quietly involved in reorientating societies in Nigeria about the treatment of widows and preliminary results from our data base shows our effort has been paying off.
Consequent upon this, we look forward to your willfull donations towards eradicaing this anomally within our system.
Furthermore, we intend to publish your names and addresses in our almanacs and brochure by the end of the year being our usual practise which would be sent to our beneficiaries and partners.

Fr. Pfleger at a demonstration seeking to shut down a legal firearms dealer, called on the crowd to kill (“snuff out”) the dealer, mentioning him by name and spelling his surname thus urging an act in violaton of both the law of God and of the state. He was rebuked by his superiors but to my knowledge has not yet apologized to the dealer for calling for his killing.

Boring stuff Kev baby. The Jean Huston stuff is really reaching. She can’t be compared to your buddy Wright, Meeks or Pfleger period.

She never preached hatred, bigotry, crackpot conspiracy theories the stuff that is the stock and trade of the men Obama is associated with.

Though I do remember when Huston was news. It was news for about 3 days. Mostly it was mockery, no one took Huston seriously. Even the GOP knew to drop this. Its was a non-starter.

The thing is, you have no idea how bad the Clinton’s were vilified when they were in office. Its makes the the crap your messiah is taking now look like nothing.

Clinton smearing was a industry. People like Chris Ruddy(pre-internet) had a pricey monthly newsletter dishing the shit on the Clinton’s.

He spread the lie that the Clinton’ s murdered Vince Foster, had over 30 other people murdered in Arkansas for various reasons.

There was even a glossy mag dedicated to smearing the Clinton’s and Democrats in general.

And don’t forget talk show hosts like Limbaugh, Medved and Prager who regularly pilloried the Clinton’s during their 8 years in office.

But you’re still a kid you wouldn’t necessarily know these things.

Nor can you compare it to the emotional charge and damage that Wright and his “GodDamn America” rant carries. Having a lunatic preacher ranting against the U.S. and spewing hate on tape is pure PR disaster for your man, given his 20 year friendship with said lunatic.

Wright goes one better with his NAACP performance.
He makes a total ass of himself and spew crap that makes Lyndon LaRouche look sane.

And NoQuarters isn’t the problem, its Obama’s 20 year friendship with the miscreant reverend is.

BTW the GOP and right wing blogs already knew about Wright, Pfleger, Meeks way before Johnson decided to write about it.

That’s what I’m tryin to figure out…..Like all catholic parishes no matter what country they fall under the authority of the Vatican. There is some lee way EXCEPT IN THE CATECHISM……Hmmmmmm
This is the trouble that happened with Liberation Theology in Latin America….Priests got all wrapped up in local politics and generally the vatican disciplines when a bishop or a priest steps outta line…
