    When Obama Supporters Attack-New plan

    ——————————————————————————–

Went over to CNN and there is an organized effort to distort the Clinton vs. Paul case. Its my understanding this was a frivolous lawsuit that has been thrown out of court several times and the Clintons are not involved.

The Obama supporters are going crazy on CNN posting this over and over. They tell you to go check it out and of course it takes you to the Paul side.

This is a nasty attack and it almost seems coordinated. I have blogged several times that this is stupid, but its now showing up in all post.

These are the same people who cry about negative attacks. Hypocrites..all of them.

    • http://hyper-educated-uppity-woman.blogspot.com Uppity

Ignore them. They need to try any smoke and mirrors they can for baby jesus. at this moment nothing has more legs than barry’s own problems. Do you not think Hillary is smarter and better prepared than all of them?

      • http://myspace.com/loyaldissent Garlic-Nosed Guitarist

        smoke and mirrors

Yes that’s all they have left and its all they started with.

      • blobert

do NOT ignore them. This is exactly how John Kerry lost to Swiftboaters.

Everybody get over to CNN pronto and complain about their bullshit.

        • norrismorris

          blobert,

You know your politics. Ignoring Obama attacks and misinformation is a big mistake. Blog your hearts out to diminish, educate, and fight for your ideas as it pays off every time.

Without opposition Obama continues to misinform, twist facts, and the opportunities to enlighten are lost.

          Bloggers start your engines.

    • mimi

They’re probably in a frenzy over the List of Lies that was posted on

      http://www.savagepolitics.com

And of course the poll numbers and Wright have them going batshit too.

I enjoy watching the minions of “The One” squirm. I think when they finally realize they’ve been sold 10 million gallons of snake-oil he will be called “The Zero” by his former followers.

      • speaktruth

Last night Newt Gingrich(!!!?!) was on Fox helping Obama get over Wright. This seems to be a new pundit pastime, BTY, WSOSN – what should Obama say now. Gingrich said he should pick a new fight with Clinton.
        So, now they’re following Gingrich.
        Oh, yeah, that’s not new.

    • Strawberrybitch

Sonia, if it helps go rent or download (if possible) the documentary “War Room” about how Bill got elected. It will put your mind at ease. Obama supporters are nothing but a bunch of bored, pathetic college students who didn’t get enough attention from mommy.

    • ginamc

I have written some pretty scathing retorts to Bernstein — hey, only the truth, and I was very diplomatic, and he deserved it. I must be on the shit list — AC360 will no longer accept my blogs — NEVER, I’ve tried for weeks now. Oh well, gotta login withe a new username. There’s no freedom of speech even on blogs. Keep blogging, Sonia, every bit helps.

    • karen for Clinton

I was responding to the Peter Paul nonsense by saying fight tabloid fire with tabloid fire and then mentioning Larry Sinclair and asking people to check him on google and youtube as they checked out peter paul on wikipedia.

It stopped them for a short time on the sites I visted daily back then.

They’ve been doing this for weeks.

I hate the dirty stuff and would never bring up Sinclair but they asked for it.

  • blobert

    Thanks for the heads-up, Susan!
I’m actually looking forward to watching O’Reilly.

Hillary is working insanely hard – I would love to see her take at least a half-day off and relax.

    • blobert

She was absolutely AMAZING discussing Iraq and Pakistan.
Even more amazing is that O’Reilly pulled it out of her.
She has never had the opportunity – even in the debates to talk in such detail.
I would love to compare her discussion with that of Obama. I didn’t see his Fox interview, but imagine it was more soft focus.

      • speaktruth

I didn’t see it but I hear he praised Repubs again, said he is not that liberal, and came out for deregulation of business. Also for charter schools and some other Repub platforms.
I find the deregulation issue outrageous and am surprised it’s being ignored. That’s the essence of Republicanism.
The Orange people were even angry about this, and about him going on Fox. He said he would “take on Fox” but instead he capitulated big time.
Hillary took on Fox, right at the top. And was perfect.

Did you guys see Bill O’Reilly ratings from yesterday?

He smashed the competition with Hillary’s interview. She is still the most attractive interview to get for any show.

Oh Gawd. Obama attempts to relate to common folk by throwing back a bud? I want to see a video of that. Awkward! You can’t fight who you are and Obama is an elitist. Doesn’t matter if he’s drinking wine, a latte, or a bud.

He better get rip roaring drunk next Monday night – so he doesn’t have to be aware of how badly he is going to get pounded in the Tuesday primaries.

I am glad she answered to the Joe Andrews empty switch. BTD had 2 good posts on his really dishonest switc. My tale: it is all about $$$$$$$$ for these people either directly into their campaigns if elected (Capps) or into their pockets by facilitating or promising some business connection/deal/networking with “big donors”.
It’d be interesting if someone were to follow up the “future” of these particular SD….

Money makes the blind see. Too bad they won’t be able to buy votes in November.

  • http://www.TheIndependentView.com Matthew Weaver

Tonight’s segment was not as lively as last night. Part of this was that O’Reilly was more forceful in pushing his personal agenda and talked over Clinton more than once tonight. Still, it was good and will reflect positively.

Regarding Obama’s beer drinking. He’s got a lot of stressful problems to be drowning in beer. I don’t have the impression that he has much experience with failure, thus chugging beer might offer comfort.

She did not look happy – can’t imagine America seeing her in the role of first lady.

      • wry

i don’t look at or listen to either Obama. And I don’t watch CNN or MSNBC. I’m much happier. I only watch my girl Hillary.

    • Amanda

She said among other things that “her husband brought new people in this election” (a fact that should be considered by the SD etc.) Some of them she said may be voting for other folks but … excuse me, but she sounds so condescending. What “folks”? Can she not even say the name of a former first Lady, and US Senator?! What is wrong with this woman?
Plus, I wanted to scream at her: “I am the new person”. I have never donated before, never involved myself in another campaign, never made phone calls, never woke up everyday and ran to read the political blogs (first NQ always ;) ). If it wasn’t for my beliefs and the trust that I have on this woman, there was no “loose change” in the world that would have gotten me involved, especially taking time and money away from my life’s obligations.

I switched the channel after that. She made me so angry. Cause she went on to say that “we cannot ignore these “new” people.” Well, she ignored me, I ignore her.

  • S. Markom

I am not going to say that Hillary did a good job because it implies that this was something that was going to be difficult for her.

She showed enormous confidence and was extremely conversant with all aspects of policy. Obama would be swallowed up by O’Reilly – not because O’Reilly is unfair, but because Obama has not idea how to answer those questions specifically without getting into his Messiah platitudes and O’Reilly would end up treating him like the village idiot.

Check out the trends on NC and IN (the graphs), Hill is goeing up, Obama is going down:

    http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2008/president/nc/north_carolina_democratic_primary-275.html

    http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2008/president/in/indiana_democratic_primary-639.html

NC Hill is behind and climbing, but one poll actually has her ahead:

    Insider Advantage Clinton +2.0

  • NewOrleans

On FOX last Sunday, when Obama was giving his excuse for hiding from another debate with Hillary, he said:

“I’m not ducking. We’ve had 21 (debates), and so what we’ve said is, with two weeks, two big states, we want to make sure we’re talking to as many folks possible on the ground taking questions from voters,” he said, so no debates.

So, no time to debate Hillary because he wants to talk to as many folks on the ground as possible. Yet, he’ll interrupt that ‘ground voter talk’ to do David Letterman’s Top 10 List, a Today show interview with Meredith Viera, and (what I’m sure will be) a Meet The Press lovefest this weekend with Tim Russert, and other media interviews. Hmmm.

I guess some regular-folk interruptions are OK to this debate-dodger.

Pew poll also has some helpful trend lines for HRC. I think Dems have a really big problem rationalizing what SDs are doing and saying about MI FL and bringing things to a close now and the fact that they have set a primary calendar that stretches from January through June. I think it is bad karma and horrible politics on two counts: 1. No other candidate in the history of the Dem. party has been asked or publicly pressured to quit as in the case of Hillary (see article as Media Matters for full detail). That includes Mr. Kennedy, Mr. Jesse Jackson and a whole lot more. Why pray tell me do we have this new “its going to hurt us in the GE” meme and the target is a highly competitive woman. 2. If you are going to set a 6 mo. calendar and penalize people who go early, you had better not start discounting and disenfranchising all those who come late. The one is being hurt the most in all this is the Democratic party and these ARE SELF-INFLICTED PARTY WOUNDS. What is the real problem here folks; as Jesse Unruh would say, it is MONEY, THE MOTHER’S MILK OF POLITICS and this needs to stop not because these two candidates are damaging each other but because they are eating up all the political money out there and there is not much left for the party or anyone else. I can not understand how SDs who are plotting to deep six Clinton can not see that doing that now, at this point with things this close and with Obama this damaged, that if they are successful they will be destroying the party and its presidential dreams not just for the GE this fall but for some time to come. They have to see that shorting out either Obama or Clinton right now would result in protests in Denver (and I would hope peaceful protests). The DNC is a tragedy and the SDs like Joe Andrew are living in a world none of the rest of us live in or care about.

Did you all happen to hear what Dick Morris said during his pathetic critique of Bill O and Hillary (thursday night). When questioned about the FL and MI delegates (he was spouting off about the “math”) he said no way the deleagtes will be counted because Dean doesn’t like Hillary… I think this would have MAJOR ramifications! Any other thoughts on this??

BTW: WHO is this guy, and WHY is he on National Television???

    • so saddened

didn’t see morris because if i ever see his face i immediately change the channel. and of course i never read anything he writes.

he’s just mad because the clintons let him go after he was caught in the prostitute toe-sucking incident. a bitter, small, mean, pathetic, angry, poor excuse for a human being.

i assume he was on cnn or msnbc or some other obama lovefest network, so there won’t be any ramifications. but he’s obviously right that dean’s personal issues are driving the dnc’s bad decisionmaking.

      • so saddened

later realized he was on fox. but doubt they’ll make an issue of it either. having the dnc hate hillary works to repubs’ benefit, since they can destroy obama in a general and hillary would beat them.

still would watch them over the pimps at cnn or msnbc/nbc.

        • http://myspace.com/loyaldissent Garlic-Nosed Guitarist

The bias in the MSM is so bad and I am so upset that there are certain people I won’t watch now AND even if they have a change of heart and treat Hillary fairly in the future, I am disinclined to ever watch them again. I’d rather come to this blog or just tune out the “news.” I swear the ghost of Joseph Goebbels runs MSNBC and is pushing for the Fourth Reich for Obama. Its frightening actually.

Chuck Todd is the NBC Political Director.
            FYI.

Thanks. I knew that — Todd seems OK. The overall tone of that network has been to shaft Hillary (Mitchell, Olbermann, Matthews, Russert) in my opinion.

  • http://paganpower.wordpress.com/ Pagan Power

Thank you so very much for the videos of the show. Hillary didn’t back down. She fought like we all know she can and will. I give her tremendous credit for going on the show and placing herself squarely in the lion’s den. Her answers were very strong and credible. Presidential in fact. I can’t imagine anyone doing any better.

    Thank you No Quarter!

  • http://www.zamashop.com/ zama guy

This is killing me! Why cant the American people see her qualifications. It’s so apparent to me in this interview that she has a plan and will carry it out.

Why have we made so many political mistakes for the past 8 years. Obama is smart and gives a great speech but Hillary has what it takes to turn this country around. Reversing the damage done by Bush is not easy.

We are going again with the “I’d like to have a beer with him” thingy.

  • http://myspace.com/loyaldissent Garlic-Nosed Guitarist

Watched Nightline, Hill was great as usual and the interviewer was reading talking points from Axelrod. But she stood her ground and controlled the interview and the outcome. My 2 cents.

BILLO kept interpreting her and she was on her guard throughout the second part of the interview but she obviously knows more than Billo..lol.

    http://thecityedition.com/Pages/Archive/Winter08/2008Election.html

    • speaktruth

This article from city edition is amazing. I suggest everyone read it.
It’s about how and why Repubs and media are supporting Obama, a question I’ve been asking for a long time.
The theory here is that Rove and other Bush people are supporting him because they can beat him and not Hillary. There is much evidence, including money contributed by Bush supporters, talk that he’ll appoint top Repubs – Hagel, Lugar, to top cabinet positions, etc.
Also, Rezco and how that is being covered up, connections with Rove, coverups of Wright, etc., which many of us have been wondering about, in terms of surrealism of whole campaign.
Susanunpc, Larry, others, it looks like there is tons of material for diary followups in this article too.
I’d love to see others’ opinions on this piece.

      • Kathy

I read it and I feel like I live in Nazi Germany. MSNBC doesn’t even report accurate polls anymore. They have Obama winning all of them even when Hillary is 12 points ahead. I feel like I am living in a parallel universe. How do we stop this from happening to our country. Maybe we can get Fitzgerald to indict Rove during the Rezko trial. God what crooks have been created in this country, and the poor middle class just goes around living in what will one day be a slave state.
