    Oh boy,

I can’t wait. Obama must be throwing up by now, having to speak at the same venue with Hillary. Let’s hope he sucks as much as usual.

    Dick Morris posted by fuller
    05.02.2008 – 5:37 pm
Is this old news? I did not know that Dick Morris from Fox News was connected to Odinga?!! I guess that explains why he says such horrible things about the Clintons every night!

As opposition candidates kicked off their official campaigns, Raila Odinga, who has a narrow lead in opinion polls, said American pollster Dick Morris had joined his team.

“He is working as a consultant, but he is doing it pro bono. He is not charging Mr. Odinga,” said Odinga spokeswoman Rose Lukalo.

    • http://hyper-educated-uppity-woman.blogspot.com Uppity

You mean Barky’s cousin who’s into genocide? The guy lost an election and decided to kill everybody who did’t vote for him. I do hope Barky doesn’t turn out to be a bad loser like that.

    • Catriley

Dick’s connection to Odinga. It was reported that Dick was at the party of a “mutual friend” in Chicago (any guess who that might be?) and was SOOO taken with Odinga that he offered to fly down to Kenya for a month (on a tourist’s visa – which seems illegal), and help out pro-bono with Odinga’s campaign. Now, Dick was already involved with Obama at this point, and Dick does nothing for free. I’m convinced that he was rewarded with Obama Campaign funds. I doubt that he would pay his own $$ to fly to Kenya and live for a month there and provide thousands and thousands of dollars of service to Odinga.

Of course, Dick being Dick, the campaign fell into a melee of mass killings. Very ugly. Apparenlty Dick used the Axelrove/Alinsky method of campaigning and got people to believe that the other side was stealing and such. I believe a murderous rampage ensued.

The media will get to that, no doubt, though I think they’re saving it for the GE. Though.. with Dick being Mr. Pundit lately, and the way the media is so chummy, I don’t know that they’ll ever call him on it.

      • simon, too

Of course, Dick being Dick, the campaign fell into a melee of mass killings

Don’t you hate when that happens?

    • Hoosiergal

Dick “suck toes” Morris owes approx 280,000 in back taxes to the state of Conn. He ain’t working Pro Bono anymore than Axelrod’s friend is doing Pro Bono PR work for Wright’s church.

      • simon, too

And given that sum, the penalties, and interest must be enormous.

I wonder what he owes to the IRS, as state and federal tax difficulties usually go hand in hand.

      From OLD ELEPHANT.wordpress.com:

Will Barack Obama put the voters of Illinois ahead of his own political fortunes in Indiana? Don’t bet on it.

Unless Obama takes quick action, he will have to accept responsibility for killing a constitutional amendment to allow voter recall in Illinois.

With just days left to get a Constitutional Amendment authorizing recall on the ballot, Obama’s political mentor State Senator Emil Jones (D-Chicago) shut down the Illinois Senate so that Democrat Senators could instead go to Indiana to campaign for Obama.

While the state’s House Speaker offered to keep state representatives in town all weekend if needed to meet a deadline for approving the recall amendment, Obama’s close ally abruptly adjourned the Senate May 1. Jones even cancelled a previously scheduled legislative day the following week, in order to give Senators extra time to campaign for Obama.

Jones’ decision to place the Indiana primary at the top of his agenda effectively ran out the clock on efforts to add a voter recall amendment to the state constitution.

Ironically, the effort to enact a recall amendment in Illinois has been fueled in part by the revelations coming out of the trial of Obama associate Tony Rezko. Rezko’s corruption trial and the resultant testimony has helped drive demands from Illinois voters for the opportunity to recall Governor Rod Blagojevich. Rezko, of course, is the longtime supporter that Obama relied on when buying his home in an exclusive Chicago neighborhood.

      • simon, too

OT, sorry, I thought the above article was interesting, given the noise for recall is getting very strong in IL, and Jones is simply protecting his IL corrupt posse.

Elizabeth Taylor urges primary voters to back Clinton
    Posted: 06:24 PM ET

The actress and activist officially endorsed Clinton Friday.
(CNN) — Actress Elizabeth Taylor urged voters in next week’s Democratic primaries to back Hillary Clinton’s White House run, saying in a statement released Friday that the New York senator was “not a flibbertijibbet.”

“It would be magnificent for our country if Senator Clinton won the votes, hearts and minds of the people in Indiana and North Carolina on Tuesday. She’s a brilliant teacher and powerful leader. We all know what she’s about. We know what she isn’t. Senator Clinton is not a flibbertijibbet [sic]. She’s strong,” said Taylor.

“It’s also important for great leaders to have a sense of humor about themselves. The future of our great country rests in the hands of the next president. Who sits in the Oval Office will be determined greatly by the citizens of Indiana and North Carolina. In my heart, I know they will choose wisely and they will choose well.”

The actress and activist is a longtime Clinton supporter who has donated the legal maximum of $4,600 to the senator’s campaign.

In January 2007, Taylor also pointed to Clinton’s toughness as the reason she was contributing to her presidential bid. “I have contributed to Sen. Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign because she has a mind of her own and a very strong one at that,” Taylor she said in a statement then. “I like the way she thinks. She is very savvy and a smart leader with years of experience in government, diplomacy and politics.”

Thank you Jane. :) And as I pointed out the other day, Obama has a de facto endorsement from Jimmy Carter who just had a meeting with Hamas. I respect Carter but that meeting is food for the right wing and mainstream America does not like him meeting with Hamas. And Carter in an interview stated when asked who he supported said something to the effect that all his family endorsed Obama but he had not decided yet. As I pointed out, he could have said simply “I have not endorsed either candidate.” I wonder what this really means but I think it hurts Obama. Either Carter made a mistake or ???

    WV Legislators endorse Hillary Clinton
    May 02, 2008 @ 05:55 PM
    Herald-Dispatch.com

CHARLESTON— The Clinton campaign announced the support of 11 West Virginia lawmakers from across the Mountain State on Friday. The state Senators and Delegates endorsing Clinton represent diverse districts and are committed to working in their communities to make Hillary successful in the upcoming primary.

“I support Hillary because she is ready to lead America. Her experience speaks for itself. Clinton will jumpstart the economy and help hardworking Americans get ahead – without putting our country further into debt. She has the strength and experience to get us back on track,” said House Delegate Richard Browning in a prepared statement.

“Sen. Clinton understands the importance of agriculture and rural development to West Virginia and the United States. We need a president who will lead this country back to prosperity. We can’t afford to wait. Hillary Clinton has the strength and experience to lead on day one in the White House,” said House Delegate Bob Tabb in a prepared statement.

“I am proud to support Hillary Clinton because she is the only candidate with a health care plan that covers everyone. West Virginia families deserve a president who will keep fighting for the uninsured until every man, woman, and child has quality,

affordable health care,” said House Delegate Barbara “Bobbie” Hatfield, Vice-Chair of the West Virginia House of Delegates’ Health and Human Resources Committee in a prepared statement.

Dear God, forgive me, I’m watching Laura Ingraham. At least I think that’s her name – I actually thought she was just another FOX News anchor.

Anyway, we are definitely turning the corner. A Democratic strategist said, speaking of Obama and all the negative press, etc., that’s been his lot the last few months, “He’s not out of this yet.”

Yes! That is the statement they used to use for Hillary. We have certainly turned a corner, and are heading down the home stretch. :-)

Another great thing to see is the respect, albeit grudging, that Hillary is bringing out in many of these commentators, especially women. I love to see their eyes shine when they talk about how tough she is.

Ingraham is going to be talking about Wright now. Right now.

Susan, the pre-requisit to be a ROBAMABOT is that you cannot think for yourself, thus like the fake video today that was circulating, it was an act of camp obama!

The strange thing is, things like associations with ayers/dohrn don’t bother them, Rezko is no bother, and took the hard line of Rev Wright to snap a few out of the Obama control! Yet with nothing like Auchi and Alsammarea not out there in force yet, what will they be saying come the fall when McCain and the GOP start seriously bringing them all to the forefront, Duh just doesn’t cut it!

Given they need to clean up Obama’s image, as the gangsta thing kinda backfired on them, this might also prove embarrassing for Obama.

Wright, and all people associated with that crew, (Auchi, Wright, Farrakhan, Hamas, Rezko, you know, the usual terrorist suspects), are now a liability, as is their behavior.

Speaking of the MSM, it is interesting that Fox News has not joined the suicide train of MSNBC and to a slightly lesser extent, CNN.

Will Fox stay with Hillary in the GE? I do see a huge amount of respect coming from Fox commentators I think because Hillary is standing up to that race-baiting shitbag tag-team called the Obama’s.

Fox owner Murdoch did endorse Hillary in her 2006 Senate bid:

    “Conservative” Murdoch Endorses Hillary
AIM Column | By Cliff Kincaid | November 1, 2006

An influential voice in the “conservative media” has jumped ship. The New York Post has endorsed Hillary Clinton for the Senate over a solid conservative, John Spencer. It’s another sign that Post owner Rupert Murdoch, whose News Corporation is also the parent of the Fox News Channel, is moving to the left.

    SNIP

Will Murdoch and I presume Fox give Hill a fair shake in the GE? Could very well be!

    • http://myspace.com/loyaldissent Garlic-Nosed Guitarist

Was watching Fox and on the scroll they explained, and this is from recollection:

Neither candidate will have enough SD’s to clinch and it will be up to the 800 SD’s to decide who the nominee is. Finally, what the real story is and none of this “Hill should drop out” nonsense.

They also said Obama’s lead shrunk to below double digits in NC and that IN was a toss-up but Hill is trending Higher. I saw the RCP numbers today and Hill was up quite a bit more than a toss-up.

They also said 58% people think Obama’s “renunciation” of Wright was for political reasons. The emperor has no cloths.

Bottom line: They reported mostly accurately in my view of what is going in in the real world. Those spinmeisters and propagandists on MSNBC and CNN better wise up, their bias is profound and highly noticeable. Fox’s bias is “light” at least for the time being.

I think Fox has to keep their right wing appeal because that is their core audience, but they also have to be fair to Hillary, since Murdoch seems to like her. What do you think?

    • http://www.writehillaryin.com jmk

Wow, that’s the best amazing news ever? Fox owner endorsed Hillary?! I, too, have been asking why are they being so much more fair? Good info, thanks.

      • Andy

I don’t think so…Who’s the ower of Fox? Murdoch is owns the NYPost that endorsed BO.

        • http://myspace.com/loyaldissent Garlic-Nosed Guitarist

Who knows, but Murdoch did endorse Hillary as I said and Fox has been very fair to her lately. Gift horse axiom applies. Who reads the NYP anyway? :)

        • Clinton Fan

Murdoch is a savvy old coot. He’ll endorse all three of ‘em if he has to and has enough outlets to swing it. Murdoch doesn’t really care about the politics of it all, he’d endorse Bob Marley’s ghost if he thought the guy was a sure winner and could help relax media regs so he can garner more power. It’s all about money with that guy. Funny thing is, money can’t buy happiness, and at his age, his birthday suit could use a good pressing–he’s got some nasty wrinking going on, imagine what we CAN’T see!

The Obama zealots are doing a major smear job on Clinton. They doctored a tape making it seem like a supporter said “Hoosiers are white niggers.”
The supporter found out and threatened You Tube with a suite if they did not take it down.
TPA has had it at the top of their recommended all damned day.
Campbell Brown (of course) picked up the story. I couldn’t watch. She was promoting it as a scam. But no doubt she had lots of guests on to discuss it so viewers might think it was the real thing.
I guess this is to counter Obama’s moronic statement slamming PA voters.
Nothing is too scummy for Obama supporters.

That will backfire, and when it does, they will blame Hill supporters, of course. :) People are on to the Obama racist campaign and its tactics.

      • PMS

They’ve already stated saying it’s a “Rovian trick” from Clinton.

        Such children.

Let the Obamabots spin their wheels on the Internet with that disinformation nonsense — meanwhile on the ground in IN and NC Hill’s crew is kicking Obama’s butt running a great campaign.

Odd thing is, I think some of those trolls actually believe that doctored tape is real. LOL.

        • Bill Delyon

I’m sure some do, just like a lot of you thought Obama’s face scratch was a flip off…..

            Really?

And You don’t’ think Karl rove spins PR scandals, rove, who learned his dirty tricks from Atwater?

Guess I shouldn’t mention the PR concocted war, then, that is Iraq.

It just wasn’t supposed to end this way…

            LOL.

            Jus’ fool’in with ya…

I am so struggling to stay awake during BOs speech. He puts me to sleep. I will never, ever, ever get how people talk about how riveting a speech giver he is. You must have to be there or something. He puts me right to sleep…BO the cure for insomniacs everywhere…

    • http://myspace.com/loyaldissent Garlic-Nosed Guitarist

I can’t listen to him because he is a total fraud and a racist. If by chance I hear his voice on the TV I will sometimes scream “You fucking asshole!” in disgust.

I’ve never been this upset with a human being in my life. I am channeling my angst towards helping to destroy his candidacy and will work towards Obama losing his Senate seat as well, most likely. I don’t hate Obama, but I do despise what he is doing.

      As I wrote today:

The oppressed becoming the oppressor only repeats the cycle ad infinitum…

Obama is an oppressor by race-baiting and fear-mongering our nation. He is more of the same dog shit that has been holding back societal evolution. We must stop him by all legal means available.

Thanks for reading, its therapeutic to vent and I hope you don’t mind.

      • alexei

He is like GW Bush to me. I can’t listen to him or the TV will be in danger.

        • http://myspace.com/loyaldissent Garlic-Nosed Guitarist

LOL!!! Obama is a de fecto Bush III in my view, another marionette of the corporations except Obama is a left-wing extremist nut-case, and Bush II is a right-wing extremist nut-case. Two nuts on different sides of the same coin.

      • barbh

I understand totally believe me. My son and boyfriend were always making fun of me screaming at the TV when BO is on or the usual MSM love BO f*cking fest that seems to be 24/7. My son went to a Hillary rally with me a few days ago and now I find him screaming and cursing at the TV, the MSM, BO. It’s great!!! Never thought I’d applaud my child (19 year old) cursing at the TV!!!

    • http://madfeminist.blogspot.com/ AM

I can’t listen to him either, mainly because in a lot of sentences he bears down hard on the last word, in a way that evokes in me the image of a verbally abusive husband, cool and in control, laying down the law.

Where is the beef Obama??? No shit BO, Bush and Cheney will be gone but the damage will be left behind. You can’t tell us what your plans are???

Actually, I believe they are making arugila bogs in the shallows of Lake Superior. I’ve heard that the climate is perfect in Oregon for that crop. This is also very good for Oregon’s economy because it allows the Pennsylvania vets who live there an opportunity to make some pocket money.

    What’s the contest here?

One candidate is a bitch who is a lawyer and married to a lawyer.
The second candidate is a lawyer who is married to a bitch who is a lawyer.

The third candidate is a war hero who is married to a sexy blonde – who owns a beer distributorship.

MP98, do you kiss your mom? Do you have sisters? Have you ever lost anyone to cancer? Do you have a freezer? Do you use Post It notes? REason I ask is all those things, and many more have roots in Women working to make things better. A bitch is a female dog. You are one ignorant misogynist, and I sincerely hope that your friends will stage an intervention, really soon.
“The third candidate is a war hero who is married to a sexy blonde – who owns a beer distributorship.”
That is the clincher. Women are only good if they bring money and prestige?
If you are a woman, shame on you. If you are a man, time to get some help cause your ignorance is showing and quite frankly, as women are in the majority, in the US, you’ve got some major problems coming your way.

      • Strawberrybitch

HT, MP98 is threatened by smart educated people, both male and female, I’ve been called a bitch so many times by doinks like MP, (usually after I turned them down) that I take it as a badge of honour now, and even use it in my moniker.

    “Senator Barama” ???

The guys needs to lay off the coffee….

  • sandyR

Hey Susan or Uppity, are you around?

I have an idea for a piece for you to do.

Run two nice big pictures side by side…

On the left one of Katherine Harris

On the right one of that Dean f*%k

And then underneath the pictures ask:

“What do these two people have in common?”

And then underneath that the answer:

They both believe in keeping Florida Democrats Votes From Counting.

Then you could run a little bio on each of these
upstanding citizens as how to each relies on “Rules”
    to get the job done.

Huh? What do you think? Hey, it’d make me laugh.

Make you could even do a composite picutre of those two cretins.

    Good Evening

a curious thing I just read
    (on Craig Crawford’s blog)

Craig is back with his theory of Clinton/Obama or vice versa. He’s convinced they’re doing a back room deal and one of his biggest fans over there that used to disagree now also agrees with him.

Mostly because of what each of them said about supporting the OTHER should they win. At the Dinner they just finished.

Two versions of the same theme came out of both candidates mouths. This to Craig signaled a joining……..

    anyone else agree?

Craigs says they’re just haggling (my word) about who’s on top.

I read him say that before a few months ago. It got poo poo’d back then but not tonight.

    sharing

    • http://www.writehillaryin.com jmk

      A different view:

Hillary’s campaign came out with a strong party support line shortly after hearing about a write-in movement for her. Reason: they don’t want backfire blame for party insurrection.

Powers that be must know about recreate 68 and bo has to say something that makes it sound like he’s going to play nice.

In brief: they have to make those cozy statements right now, that’s all.

  • http://noquarterusa.net/ SusanUnPC

Hey, a neighbor told me about some article in the National Enquirer now on sale at grocery stores and drugstores across the country. Obama and his trysts on the Virgin Islands. Just a curiosity. No idea if there’s anything to it.

    • http://myspace.com/loyaldissent Garlic-Nosed Guitarist

Didn’t they report first on Swayze’s pancreatic cancer?

I think sometimes those scandal sheets actually get a real news story first. I wonder if anyone has figured out their accuracy percentage?

I could research this but I am burnt out.

    • http://www.writehillaryin.com jmk

A sex scandal would be perfect, wouldn’t it? But who’d cheat on a wife who is already so angry when she’s in a good mood.

    • Catriley

I saw it in the grocery store yesterday. The National Enquirer, oddly enough, has been pretty damn accurate because they pay big bux for their sources and they actually vett them heavily.

  • Dawnelle

Also did it sound like Hillary was offering either John or Elizabeth a position in her cabinet?

Boy it sure sounded that way to me.

I heard all kinds of things with hidden rings to them tonight.

Maybe it’s just the altitude! LOL

    • http://www.writehillaryin.com jmk

Didn’t hear the speech but am holding the vision that Edwards endorses Hillary right after NC. How’s that for a delegate boost? Elizabeth loves her health plan – and recently wrote an excellent piece regarding the need to clean up and improve objectivity of MSM. Great pair!

  • Andy

Joe Andrews: Senator Barama??? Who are you supporting? HRC is right, you haven’t been paying attention; you don’t even seem to know who’s runing…

  • Bill Delyon

So, just being curious, Senator Clinton said tonight that if Senator Obama won the nomination that she would be out there working as HARD as she could to get him elected in November. Because she said, the most important thing that needs to be accomplished in November is, a Democratic President in the White House.

Will you dedicated Sen. Clinton supporters get behind your candidate and support Sen. Obama for Pres??

Or has the Obama Derangement Syndrome become to great?

    • sonia

      will u support hillary????

      • Bill Delyon

        Yes…

        For sure….

I would never vote for a republican.

        Especially McSame…

    • http://Whosturnisit? TeakWoodKite

Can you vote for a man that allowed people in his state senate district to freeze with no running water in a Chicago winter? And had the audasity to lie about it, saying he did not know about it?

So if he did know about it and did nothing because he was in bed with Rezko, what does that say about the man?

So if he did know about it and did nothing because he wasn’t in bed with Rezko, what does that say about the man?

No matter how you ask the question, the answer is the same. He did nothing and they still had to get dressed to go to bed.

      Good luck with that.

    • Andy

And what did Obama say about working for HRC if she were the nominee? Forget “hard” and forget “support”; will he work to help her at all?

    • Amanda

To the extent that we are not sheep and therefore we don’t need a shepherd, I will not work, will not donate, will not vote for him if Obama is the nominee. I love my girl, but I politely disagree with her on this. To vote for Obama will mean (besides other very important issues) that again, a very intelligent, smart, brave woman was pushed aside for an incompetent man. A vote for him is to condone this and I will not.

      • Bill Delyon

        Bully for you….

So when McSame gets elected and Judge Ruth Bader Ginsburg retires from the Supreme Court and McSame gets the final judge on there to turn Row Vs Wade…

You can all be proud that you helped make that happen!

        Hope you feel like Champs……

Do you know how government works Bill ?

It will be up to Congress to do its f***ing job and do not confirm the wrong nominee.
          Like with Robert Bork.

          The pres. nominates, Congress confirms.
So go with that fake and empty threat somewhere else Bill Deylon.

          • Bill Delyon

You sound just like my friends who voted for Nader in ’00…

I said the same to them regarding the Supreme Court after said Court made Dumbya pres.
They said “its only 4 years”. Well that turned into 8, and ol’ dumbya went and got 2 asshole conservative pro-corporate anti-environment Judges on there now didn’t he.

Your right Andy, what do I know, you folks here in No Quarter know it all and have no use for discussion with folks who you claim to be ‘on the other side’. I thought we were all democrats (for the most part) again, what do I know.

I posted in response to a question in here last night that ‘Yes I would definitely vote for Hillary if she’s the nominee’.

                So, your point is?

            • Clinton Fan

Look, they’re having a FINE Hillary bash over at Kos…or did they kick you out of that site, and that’s why you’re here? Otherwise, prance over to The Democratic Underground and join the Sock Puppets for Obama society.

Mercy, indeed. When Obama’s loyal followers stop playing dirty, maybe we’ll be a bit more hospitable. These sleaze tactics, like that piece-of-shit bit of YOUTUBE trash, was not your crew’s finest hour. But no doubt, it won’t be your last.

Check out how many Senate seats are up for grabs this time. It’s good odds for the Dems. And if the worst happens, and Flyboy the Sailor Man gets the White House, he just may tell those jerks to shove it, and do what he thinks, instead of what the wingnuts want. He may have a temper, but he’s a pragmatic bastard.

              • Bill Delyon

                Alrighty then….

No discussion to be had here…

Replys to any of my posts on here either bring insults or anger or being told to go here or there and to ‘get the fuck out’ of here.

I find it perplexing. In one way or another, we’re all going to have to team up to beat McSame in november. One camp can’t do it without the other…

Look, I have no idea who posted that stupid Kantor youtube hoax, but I knew it was BS as soon as I saw it, and posted as such on 3 web sites I saw it on…

Can’t say the same for the face scratch turning into rap routine/flip off that folks lost there minds over on this site…

Anyway, I guess I should move on, cause attempting any type of discussion in these parts on my part seems to be useless.

                I wish you all well.

                Seriously…

                I’m far from your enemy..

Why why why has the media not talked about Joe Andrew’s money connection with the Obamas?? It’s sloppy and negligent journalism to push his “defection” when he works for a law/lobbyist firm that counts Michelle’s employer as one their biggest clients. And what of Andrew’s firm that is Obama’s #4 contributor? Follow the money.. how hard is that?

Give me a break… why does the media refuse to report this stuff? Are they lazy? Duplicitous? Stupid?

  • Amanda

I think we should have an update about this:

I was there (at the Jefferson Dinner) and I was SO disgusted when all of the Obama supporters booed Governor Easley. He is the democratic governor of the state of North Carolina and he decided to endorse Hillary, for which he gets booed (and not just by a few people – the entire Obama section). I was ashamed. Congressman David Price endorsed Obama, and not a soul booed him when he spoke. The same goes for Bev Purdue and Richard Moore.

Two Obama supporters behind me even had the gall to shout at a Hillary supporter leaving after Clinton’s speech “We’re all democrats here!”. These were the guys who booed our democratic governor… And when Barack Obama said in his speech that we can’t forget that we are all Americans, the place burst into an uproar of applause. I guess Governor Easley and other Hillary supporters just aren’t American.

Got it from TL (one of the bloggers.)

    Disgusted? That’s an understatement.
