Despicable Sexist Sign Outside Indiana Dinner [Update]

PhotobucketThis abhorrent, sexist sign is being held proudly by OBAMA supporters outside the Indiana Jefferson-Jackson Dinner, where Hillary Clinton just spoke and Barack Obama is speaking. (C-Span is carrying this event live, and will reair it later. Fox News is also covering the speeches, and offering analyses.)

IN PLAIN VIEW of OBAMA STAFF, an Obama supporter is holding up this sign, and NONE of the Senator’s staff is doing a thing about it.

IMAGINE the outcry if a Hillary supporter held up a racially-denigrating sign about Obama. (Well, not a single Hillary supporter would do that. Which is a “tell” about the difference in maturity and judgment of the two campaigns.)

HERE’s a report from a person outside the event, and what this person witnessed:

The kids with this sign were on the same side of the street (but across another street) from the obama people. They put the sign towards cars and towards Obama supporters more than towards our side of the street.

It wasn’t just field organizers that were there, there were ppl from the Obama campaign hq here bc it was a staged event.

The kids (some looked 14 others 19 or 20) were there for a good half hour before leaving.

Obama supporters were taking pix of it from across the street and laughing.

GO TO Obama’s campaign site and register a protest.

If anyone has specific e-mail addresses, share them.

We should also alert Indiana media outlets.

UPDATE: I watched No Country For Old Men last night, and just read Peter Travers’ review in Rolling Stone. He quotes a line from the sheriff played by Tommy Lee Jones (Al Gore’s roommate at Yale) — and it reminded me of the constant ugly, demeaning, and sexist attacks on both Hillary and her supporters by far too many in the Obama camp, which has NEVER asked such behavior to stop.

“It starts when you begin to overlook bad manners. Anytime you quit hearin’ ‘sir’ and ‘ma’am,’ the end is pretty much in sight.”

Most certainly, for me, the odious behavior by the Obama supporters — at events and on every political blog, particularly those that lean Obama — spells the end of any respect for civility.

Never once, to my knowledge, has Obama or his surrogates called out their supporters for their vicious and demeaning attacks on us who support Hillary. It is not a good sign.

That Obama’s staff did nothing about that ugly sign tells me what I need to know about their lack of character and their lack of civility.

  • rjj

That, too, “sounds” like an aging Young Republican. The asshole is probably working for McCain.

    • http://www.ericksonblog.com/blog nkb

The sexist sign: awful. Media did not make a big deal of it and neither did Obama people. Strange bedfellows? The bottom line is that we cannot stoop to derogatory responses. If we do, we are no better than those who would malign Senator Clinton

As a person apart of ww.indyskate.com and a person holding up one of the “sexiest,” signs I have a response. 1st the person whom wrote this and is spreading all of this drama called us and I quote “sexiest male pigs who only think with their dicks.” This makes her sexiest by saying we only think with our dicks does it not… this also makes her a hypocrite. First and foremost we were just trying to get under some peoples skin. We have obviously succeeded, hell we got more than we could ever ask for. Well this is my opinion anyways, maybe not the rest of the groups. We were not apart of the Obama Campaign we tried to go over and join them but we WERE asked to leave, but we have freedom of speech that’s the great thing about America.

It was all in good fun, we are neither sexiest or rude. We just like to have fun! I do NOT feel bad about anything that I have done.

To you see what pigs these people are? That is why that pig Obama will never be president. His supporters are absolutely vile and despicable radical children.

I was just reading an undergound piece written by a female Obama supporter talking about how so many young women are having doubts about just how good Obama would be for them. They are actually AFRAID to speak up about the sexism they are seeing daily. Good. I encourage these little assholes to keep it up.

On 2/5/08 in Beverly Hills area, an Obama supporter White Male about 28, pushed one of our Hillary supporters in the street during rush hour traffic, she was in her early 40′s. She did nothing to instigate the attack, but it shows the kind of tactics that are all to common in his campaign, and are materialized by his supporters.

They were upset that there were more of us than there were of them, and I retaliated by putting supporters on all 4 corners of the intersection, and began chanting:

Vote Green! Vote for Hillary! Stop the War on Science!

A Woman’s Place is in the House! Let Hillary Clean the White House!

Please sign the petition at this link to encourage Super Delegates to make the only logical decision if we want to win in Nov.

      • ginamc

I am signing this petition, because I have witnessed and been the recipient of this disgusting behavior 3x. I am a Delegate to my STate Convention and what would ordinarily be a happy feeling about it, has turned to dread, because of my Senatorial Convention and Precinct Convention wherein the Police where called to stop the Obamabot angry outbursts of rage inflicted on innocent people. Why? THEY ARE LOSERS, and they can’t take NO for an answer. The American public is telling them NO OBABMA NO, and they lash out. They are the most disgusting because they have no concept of CONSEQUENCES. What a pity.

    • Leonore

what piece are you referring to? I’d like to read it-sounds interesting.

    • Laura Schreck

“despicable radical children”? You need a wake up call. I’m a feminist for Obama, and you all can not hold us all responsible for one idiot’s sign. Get a clue. I’d love to see a woman in the White House but not Hillary Clinton! I don’t believe a word she says!!

      • zzzot

Agreed. You can find fault on both sides. To think anything less is disingenuos.

        • ginamc

There is nothing to compare to the angry, confrontational, thug-like behavior that I have personally witnessed over and over again from Obamabots. PLEASE, get a clue about him and his nasty campaign run by Chicago crooks, skanks, liars and thieves.

      • mimi

        Ms. Feminist,

You need to get a load of Obama’s list of indisputable list of lies:

      • ginamc

NO, you need a WAKE UP call. One-half of the Democratic Party will NEVER for Obama because of people like these bottom-dwellers who have no shame. What’s sad is that you have absolutely no remorse for this behavior. And, THAT is why Obama will NEVER be President. You should have stopped drinking the Kool-Aid a long time ago — you’re too drunk to see the TRUTH.

        • Jason

Oh, now its up to 1/2? Wow. Funny how (a) that doesn’t show up in any polls and (b) you can authoritatively speak for 1/2 of the democrats.

          • ginamc

Oh, now its up to 1/2? Wow. Funny how (a) that doesn’t show up in any polls and (b) you can authoritatively speak for 1/2 of the democrats.

Jason– PLEASE get a clue. Doesn’t show up in the polls? — spoken like a naive, young dilettante who doesn’t know shit from shinola. I am a lifelong, Latina Democrat. Trust me, when you add Latinos, Asians, and Native Ameridans, and any other disguste-with-Obama minority who voted for Hillary — YEP, we comprise WAY more of the Democratic than the the blacks, naive college kids, Limo Libs, clueless Indies, and Billionaire wannabes. WE are the base — NOT you, and yes, approximately half of the Party has voted for Hillary — what part of more people have voted for Hillary, don’t you understand? Add pissed-off Florida and Michigan, and BO is destined for Chicago. Why is that so difficult for you and your homies to grasp that this GROSS BEHAVIOR IS A TURN-OFF to the Adults. You and your posse need to stop the senseless rationalizations in defense of this thug behavior, because it is turning off more and more voters daily. Get a clue: It does NOT equal votes for Barry.

            • zzzot

It’s funny all you Clinton supporters are spoiling for a fight. Miss Latina you’re an idiot. Hispanics vote whichever the wind blows. This election it’s the Democrat Hillary. Prior years it’s usually Republicans. You’re not part of the democrats base at all that can be counted on consistently. Take your vote to McCain. Nothing new.

              • ginamc

Mr. Pendejo– hey, look it up, it’s spanish for, nah, look it up, smartass. I said Latinos would vote for McCain. I NEVER said I would. I am a lifelong Democrat and so is my family, pendejo. I was voting Democrat when you were in diapers riding your tricycle and sucking on your pacifier. I don’t vote Republican. But, MILLIONS of Latinos and other minorities do and will if BO is the nominee– that is a FACT. Don’t lash out because you can’t handle the truth — Pendejo.

                • zzzot

Well my apologies for calling you an idiot. lol. Really, you are the ONLY one here that says that they wouldn’t vote Republican. That puts you way ahead of this sooorrrrry class of Hillary surpporters. We have that in common. If Hillary wins she has my money and my vote!! No matter how much of a desperate right wing Iranian bombing, pandering home foreclosure freezing and gas tax holiday promoting Democratic that she has become. lol lol lol.

Michelle Obama or any of Obama’s surrogates (who, it is also true, are not above taking thinly veiled swipes at Hillary; Michelle has said, “If you can’t take care of your own house, you can’t take care of the White House”).

There is video of this disgusting Michelle Obama comment floating around somewhere, but I can’t seem to find it now. All I can say is that I hope someday Michelle’s “chickens will come home to roost”, too. I have no doubt in my mind that Barry Obama is the kind of sweet talker that is unfaithful (especially if he takes after his father).

I’ve been around awhile, and I can honestly say that, save for Babs Bush in Post White House days, Michelle Obama is the nastiest women I have ever seen who dared to snatch up the white house title. She is truly one mean, nasty person who looks down her nose at people when she talks to them and insults them handily.

They may try to make her look like a Black Jackie, but her walk and talk is not it at all. She needs to be true to herself. She just looks manufactured like her husband.

Before you make the claim that Hillary supporters would never make racist statements, you should check the film and look at Bill Clinton playing the race card in South Carolina by comparing Obama’s winning campaign to Jesse Jackson.

“I don’t read anything negative into Clinton’s observation,” Mr. Jackson said in a phone conversation late Sunday night from India, where he is taking part in a commemoration of the 60th anniversary of the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi.

      New York Times

      Now bugger off.

    • street_parade

Why is comparing someone to Jesse Jackson racist?

Actually, Rev. Jackson is TRULY the first African-American to run a serious and credible campaign for President — he did it in 1988 and that is what Pres. Clinton was referring to in his comments.

Is it not okay in Obamaland to credit other African-Americans for their accomplishments? Is Obama the first African-American to ever accomplish anything? Are all the other African-Americans who came first and laid the groundwork for him (in truly dangerous and often times deadly circumstances) to be denied their place in history?

What’s wrong with Rev. Jackson that you find it so offensive for BO to be compared to him? Could it be because Rev. Jackson did not go to Harvard, or an expensive private school? Maybe because Rev. Jackson was born poor in South Carolina and not comfortably middle-class in Honolulu. Is it because Rev. Jackson really IS descended from slaves and not a European-American and a wealthy African exchange student?

James, I hope you’ll return and answer some of my questions….I remain confused. Whats so wrong with Jesse Jackson, Sr? I’ve always kind of liked him.

      • zzzot

Either you’re extremely naive or just extremely stupid. Up until Bill’s statement race wasn’t even a part of the campaign…anywhere. We all know how polarizing race is, Bill knew it when he made those statements. It’s evidenced now. It was an effective move for the Clinton campaign. Disgusting…but effective.

        • Talktruth

Not quite as effective as going to an anti-American, anti-white church for 20 years, giving the church tens of thousands of dollars, getting married by a ranting, bigoted “reverend,” having that same “reverend” as your moral compass and spiritual advisor. What? Wright said he was not BO’s spiritual advisor? Well, who is the liar then?

At any rate, the neither one of them is fit to be even *near* the White House, nor is Michelle “I’m just now proud of America for the first time” Obama.

Don’t *you* at least care about this country? Because if you did, you’d never back this joker.

          • zzzot

Here’s my take on the Wright thing. It’s bad for Obama. As an AA I disagree with the crap the rev spews. And I believe that Obama may have had some idea where Wright stood on some of these issues. But so what. What matters ultimately is what is in Obama’s heart. I could list a MULTITUDE of HRC’s personal shortcomings and judgements that have absolutely no significance but where would that get us. Obama wasn’t trying to use his pastor to get votes, quite the opposite. However, the Clintons, specifically Bill, did interject race as an issue solely for the sake of winning an election.

            • http://hyper-educated-uppity-woman.blogspot.com Uppity

Bill said Obama’s Iraq stance was a “fairy tale”. Obama’s camp needed to pull that race card to win at that time and had nothing else. So they played the card. Then there was Hillary mentioning that an actual president was involved in MLK’s success. It didn’t just happen by magic you know. Still, that was racist too. Then, from there it was downhill all the way. The divide was set. And what a divide it IS now! It worked well for get AA’s away from their beloved Clintons. And please do not tell me they weren’t beloved. Before the “Fairy Tale” thing, AAs were very torn because the fact is they LOVED bill clinton. Please admit that. Thanks, I appreciate it.

I have watched dozens of objections to Obama since then be called “racist” when they have nothing whatsoever to do with race. It’s not working any longer. All it is doing is scaring off white people.

In the meantime, the sexism in this race has been rampant and totally vile. Nobody seems to care much about that in the Obama camp, so I don’t care about racism anymore either. I help you, you help me, otherwise all bets are off. And the 32% of Obama supporters who have consistently polled that they will never vote for him are women. You need us and you can’t have us. We are hopping mad. That 32% at this momemt amounts to 4.4 MILLION people, and most of them are women who recognize piggism when they see it.

              • zzzot

I admit it. I loved Bill Clinton. But if scaring off white people means calling it how you see it then we’re in real trouble. Bill’s statement prior to SC regarding Obama was flat out racist, demeaning and totally un-called for. It was a desperate attempt to downplay his win. It MAY have been unintentional, but nevertheless it was racist. 90% of black americans can’t be that overly sensitive as just to be dismissed on this issue.

                • beebop

Why don’t you check out Rev. Jackson’s own comments? You’d be surprised how many Obama supporters have been here dissing Jesse and all of his contributions to the Democratic party. You people want it however it gets Baby Doh! elected and don’t really care much who gets whacked.

The Rev. Jesse Jackson said late Sunday that he was not offended by comments on Saturday by former President Bill Clinton, who brought up Mr. Jackson’s name in response to a question about Senator Barack Obama.

Mr. Clinton had noted that Mr. Jackson had won South Carolina in the Democratic contests in 1984 and 1988. Pundits and many in the blogosphere interpreted Mr. Clinton’s mention of Mr. Jackson as an attempt to diminish Mr. Obama — and what would turn out to be his landslide victory Saturday in South Carolina over Senator Hillary Clinton — because Mr. Jackson had not gone on to win the Democratic nomination.

But Mr. Jackson said he did not see it that way.

“I don’t read anything negative into Clinton’s observation,” Mr. Jackson said in a phone conversation late Sunday night from India, where he is taking part in a commemoration of the 60th anniversary of the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi.

                  • zzzot

“You people” I’ll ignore that. lol Hey, who cares what Jesse J. thinks it wasn’t about him. You just don’t get it. Whenever a black candidate has run for the POTUS it’s always been a longshot at best. Really just symbolic. Their campaigns largely backed by and tailored to AA’s. But here you had a guy that SEEMED to transcend that. A huge underdog with not a large AA following. Even after his win in Iowa AA’s still weren’t supporting him in the numbers that they are now and Clinton still had a large AA contingent in her camp. After Bill’s comments you could see how everything had changed. CNN, MSNBC, and unfair and unbalance FOX for sure started playing up the issue of RACE. Polls, specials, documentaries on race in America. It was downhill from there and hasn’t stopped since. Before long it was Sex, age, class. The politics of division. Bill Clinton iniated it all. IMHO.

                    • beebop

Please stop, your idiocy is showing… The comments were about Jesse Jackson so it was about him… Obama exploited and turned it into something it was not. Now people are saying the Clinton’s are secret white sheet wearers!

You do not seem to care about actions vs words. These smears are totally uncalled for and have been used to manipulate voter blocks.

Your chip on your shoulder is also showing. I see the “you people” as a statement about Obama supporters that are just unreasonable and fail to see the whole story. Those words were not about race.

I hope you learn more about your candidate before you say anymore on this subject. You will not convert anyone here with faulty information.

We could argue this all day and disagree. But instead I would just like to tell you how much I appreciate your confirmation of the love AAs had for the Clintons. You are a truly honest man/woman:)

        • beebop

          From the New York Times:

“I don’t read anything negative into Clinton’s observation,” Mr. Jackson said in a phone conversation late Sunday night from India, where he is taking part in a commemoration of the 60th anniversary of the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi.

Do we no longer trust Jesse Jackson Sr. to support himself when it comes to “racially” tainted remarks? Please.

        • street_parade

I can assure you zzzzzz….I am neither naive nor stupid. You however, have not answered my question.

What is so offensive to you about Rev. Jackson that mentioning the FACT that he won the SC primary (which, um he DID) is racist? It seems from your comments downthread that the big deal to you is that it implies that BO only has support among African-Americans (and not the ALL IMPORTANT white people). That the mere fact that another African-American was mentioned in the same sentence with BO would cause the speaker to be smeared as ‘racist’ is beyond the pale to me.

But it is interesting from a CLASS perspective that some African-Americans are viewed as ‘more equal than others’ I guess. And the one that you say is ‘lowered’ by mentioning him in the same sentence with Rev. Jackson is the Harvard educated, lawyer raised in middle-class comfort in Hawaii who just happens to be half-white.

          Interesting….

          • zzzot

Come on…Bill Clinton is not a stupid man. Obama after South Carolina was poised to put this thing away. What Bill did was draw a line in the sand. The inference being that sure this is South Carolina lots of AA’s, Webster could win here, even Jesse Jackson won here and we all know he wasn’t really a serious candidate. See where I’m going with this?? The implication was and still is that he’s just the BLACK candidate (even though his campaign was never put forth like that). When we get to those states with those right thinking white (aka blue collar) folks we’ll win. And guess what to some extent it’s worked. I can tell you from barbershop discussions, that’s how AA’s see it.

            • mimi

“even Jesse Jackson won here and we all know he wasn’t really a serious candidate.”

This AA doesn’t see it that way. This AA was extremely proud of Jesse’s run. This AA remembers how the Democratic Party was shocked to their core by Jackson. Jackson registered 7 million voters, it was a multi-racial campaign comprised of latinos, Native Americans, Asians, working poor rural whites, gays, feminists, etc. He ended up with more than 1500 delegates and if it hadn’t been for Dukakis’ strong showing in the later primaries, the Dem Party would have had a real serious dilemma on their hands.

All Obama and the AA community have shown during this Election cycle is their ignorance with regard to our history.

Sorry, but I draw the line in denigrating an AA of accomplishment who has stood behind the AA community through thick and thin and a biracial candidate who has absolutely no basis in the AA community in terms of contributing to our cause other than the color of his skin which he owes to his Kenyan father, btw.

“Babershop talk” just a euphamism Mimi. Get off that high horse. You’re just another closet hater referencing BO being half white. INDEED. lol. Love Jesse Jackson, but here are the facts: He was third in his 1984 Pres run, he got 18.2% of the vote approx 3 mil, he won 5 primaries – LA, DC, SC, Virgina, and MS. All states with a large pop of AA voters (so much for the rainbow coalition). He got 8% of the delegates. You can’t be a serious candidate for Pres of the US if the only historically democratic state you win is DC. INDEED.

                • zzzot

In 1988 Jesse got 8% of the vote in NH, 6% of the vote in Iowa. In no state did he get more that 16% of the white vote. How serious of a candidate was he?? Bill Clinton knew what he was doing when he TRIED to make the comparison. As a matter of fact, even after Rev Wright, Bittergate, et al BO still has a higher favorability rating than Jesse ever did. I say this not to put Jesse down, but that fact is he never really had that “rainbow coalition”, in ’84 or ’88. INDEED.

            • Leisa

Yes Bill Clinton is not stupid… why would he want to alienate black people? How does that help?

              • zzzot

He was desperate. They were getting their asses kicked. Pull out the race card and polarize the whole election. Congrats, it worked.

            • street_parade

Someone who amassed the number of delegates that Jackson did in ’88 was most DEFINITELY a serious candidate. I remember seeing a billboard when Jackson ran in the AA section of Akron Ohio, where I grew up. It said: “They say you’ll waste your vote. When was the last time you didn’t — Run, Jesse Run.” And he did SERIOUSLY run.

Rev. Jackson may have had no appeal to the white, ‘latte liberals’ so fond of BO, but he made a lot of sense to poor, working people.

Believe me zz..in January everybody knew that BO was black…well sort of black. This whole smear campaign completely turned me off of Obama (who I was neutral on at that point). He showed his true colors (so to speak) when he smeared Clinton.

              • zzzot

Well I disagree about Jesse, but, when did he smear Hillary in Jan?

                • street_parade

This whole “Clinton is a racist meme” began in January, remember. Bill Clinton compared Barack Obama’s win in South Carolina to Jesse Jackson’s win in the same state’s primary in 1988. According to you this statement was equivalent to calling BO a word I will not write.

      • mimi

Finally! I’ve been trying to get this point across since SC. Jackson Sr. ran an all-inclusive campaign, of all ethnicities. Many rural working poor whites, hard hit by Reaganomics joined his Rainbow Coalition. He was a more than credible candidate that shocked the Democratic Party to their core.

And it was a positive campaign with no race-baiting and in the end, Jackson influenced the 1988 Party Platform and opened the doors for many minorities in the political mainstream (Donna Brazile, for example). And there was no threats of violence and rioting. Ironic, huh?

It’s despicable how Bill Clinton was painted into a corner as being racist when he was merely stating an historical fact about Jesse Jackson’s 1988 campaign. What it did marginalize was Jackson’s accomplishment.

        • zzzot

          1984 campaign Mimi.

          • street_parade

Per PBS’s Frontline, in 1988 Jackson arrived at the convention with over 1200 delegates. He won eleven primaries and caucuses and garnered nearly 7 million votes. He ran his campaign on a fraction of what BO spends and really WAS an insurgent candidate — not some corporate Democrat with a ‘new age’ hope/change message designed for the Oprah and Choprah crowd.

His speech at the ’88 convention is considered one of the greatest speeches ever given at a political convention. You can hear an excerpt from it at the Frontline web site. It is as inspiring today as it was then. You should listen and learn.

            http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/jesse/speeches/index.html

            • zzzot

Listen, I appreciate and have much respect for JJ but here’s the story for ’88:

In the Super Tuesday races, Dukakis won six primaries,to Gore’s five, Jesse Jackson five and Gephardt one, with Gore and Jackson splitting the Southern states. The next week, Simon won Illinois. 1988 remains the race with the most candidates winning primaries since the McGovern reforms of 1971. However, thanks to his successes on Super Tuesday, Dukakis was dubbed the frontrunner by most political pundits. Dukakis’ advantage was that he drew support from all sections of the nation, while most of the other candidates’ support was limited to their native regions. Eventually the other candidates withdrew as it became clear that they could not win enough delegates to challenge Dukakis’ growing lead. The only candidate who did not withdraw before the Democratic Convention was Jesse Jackson; he remained in the race to ensure that the interests of African-Americans would be represented at the convention and in the party platform.[2]

    • PamFlorida

Why does comparing BO to Rev. Jesse Jackson sound like an insult? Rev. Jackson has spent a lifetime working hard for AA in every way. He didn’t win the Presidency because he was ahead of his time.

      • zzzot

Pam, I’ll explain. You’re right about Jesse J. and his contributions. But the fact is he was never really a serious Presidential contender.
Like Al Sharpton and other black candidates before them (ie Shirley Chisholm) he never really had any serious cross-over appeal in the white community. He could only win in states like SC. So, when Bill made those comments he was lowering Senator Obama’s standing as a candidate by effectively calling him just another NIGGER.

        • kenoshaMarge

You don’t have to explain anything to anyone. You are condemned as the racist you are by your own post. Go away you race-baiting troll.

        • beebop

You would think that no one ever did anything for African Americans in politics before Obama to listen to you.

What did Obama ever do for African Americans in Chicago?

I’ll grow old waiting for your answer, I’m sure.

          • zzzot

Obama isn’t running for President just for black people. It’s about putting race aside. He was doing that very effectively until Bill contradicted that in SC. Every adult black person in the US understands this unequivocally. That’s what was so insulting. Here’s a man not trying to be the affirmative action candidate, or to be the quota President. The Clinton campaign made him that. Truly disgusting politics…but like I said effective. Understand that your candidate will do absolutely anything, say absolutely anything, and risk alienating a huge constiuency in order to get what they want.

            • beebop

Jesse Jackson Jr. made this a racial campaign.

              Don’t kid yourself.

The last thing that anyone other than the Obama campaign wanted was for this to come down to race.

I’d just like to quote Mrs. Obama here:

With polls showing African Americans yet to give overwhelming support to White House hopeful Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.), his wife, Michelle, said “black America will wake up and get it” in an interview with MSNBC.

Just to be clear, her comments came before South Carolina.

Don’t laugh at me, but I thought Al Sharpton was the best damned debater in that race. I thought, in fact, he was AWESOME.

          • zzzot

I was never then nor am I now a supporter of the Rev. Al Sharpton. To me he was an instigator of the divisions that exist between the races. He could give a great speech though and argue with the best of them. lol

            • http://hyper-educated-uppity-woman.blogspot.com Uppity

Jackson won 11 primaries. He also had garnered support among rural poor white voters. The very same voters that Obama would ditch the AA community for in a heartbeat, especially in Indiana.

I’m re-posting my comments here as well. Be proud of Jesse I am too, but you’re wrong. Here’s the facts:

In 1988 Jesse got 8% of the vote in NH, 6% of the vote in Iowa. In no state did he get more that 16% of the white vote. How serious of a candidate was he?? So much of what you’ve failed to achieve in your own lives has made you want to cut off your nose to spite your face. BHO and HRC so similar down the line in policies, but your own frailties and feeling of failure in your life won’t let you see the forrest for the trees. I’m secure enough and mature enough to understand that if Hillary somehow wins this nomination that I will vote for her come November. No matter how I feel she’s conducted her campaign, now matter what I think of her personally. Comment by Illinois woman for Clinton | 2008-05-05 09:56:15

All liberal voters should know that the Illinois National Organization for Women refused to endorse Obama in his 2004 Senatorial campaign, and refuses to endorse him for President. (See Illinoisnow.org) They analyzed his Illinois “present” votes on women’s reproductive rights, and determined that they were not, in fact, all done as part of a strategic agreement with Planned Parenthood, as the Obama campaign has led progressive women to believe. They refuse to endorse him for President, pointing out Clinton’s long and consistent record of supporting women’s issues.

              • zzzot

They chose to endorse Hill. OK but in her absence (which is highly likely at this point) do you think they would rather have McCain. Stop kidding yourselves!!!!

                • Strawberrybitch

If Hillary is losing, why are you here? A waste of energy if you ask me. Keep your powder dry for November, you’re going to need all the help you can get.

            • Strawberrybitch

I don’t know what the hell you’re talking about. We’ve made it, now it’s up to us to make sure we turn around and give a hand up to those behind us. So by electing a woman as POTUS we’re somehow being anti feminist? You’re lack of critical thinking skills astounds me.

              • zzzot

Strawberry you are truly slow. Hey if she wins the primary I’ll be there with my check too. But if she doesn’t how does it advance the feminist cause to vote for JM. A man we know will appoint conservative judges. Ask your own candidate Hillary is that what she wants?? Emotion over logic, grow up.

First of all there are people on this forum who could buy and sell you. Secondly, it is this kind of remark that has sealed Barack Obama’s fate in November. The assumption that all Obama supporters are “upscale” and all Clinton supporters are “downscale” is the ultimate insult to a person like myself. Third: Many of the “upscale” young people I know are NIKES (No Income Kids With Education) who sponge of their parents so that they can “appear” upscale. These are people, some pushing 30 who are sucking their parents’ retirement funds dry. They are also the same people who will move 1500 miles away eventually and vote to eliminate their social security. Please do not hand me that “class” crap because I am surrounded with that type of leech.

Each and every time you silly fake Obama pretend-upscale people make a remark like the one you just made, you seal his fate further. As for me, I’m all set in life. I will however protect my younger sisters who don’t Remember. That involves doing everything I can to defeat Barack Obama.

Just remember when he goes down in November, 32 percent of us helped make that happen. At current count, 4.4 million of us Hillary supporters have no intention of voting for Barky or you. That’s right, you moron. We are voting for Mccain or writing in hillary. SInce your pussy candidate can’t carry any of the swing states due to his complete inability to relate to human beings, you can add those states to the list. Toss in the gays and lesbians, the Italians, the Irish and most of the Catholics who know that Black Liberation Theology despises them. Add in the Jews who have a problem with Hamas endorsing a candidate. Then toss in the baby boomers who aren’t still on the bong. Mix in the seniors who recognize bullshit when they see it, and there you have it. In other words, in November, you, Barky and The Woman in Black will understand who your daddy is.

        • Talktruth

The only reason their positions are alike is because BO looks to Senator Clinton on what to say, how to think, etc. And he’s not a very good *cough* GREAT LAKES *cough* imitator.

        • beebop

Well. There you are. And you wonder why no one wants to support your candidate.

  • PamFlorida

Perfect example of Bo campaign. Obama stays above the fray by pretending not to notice. His paid/unpaid surrogates play dirty and give tacit approval these roving “gangs” to behave in such a despicable manner. If BO had any intention of uniting the democratic party, he would publicly denounce these kinds of tactics.
So, this is the “change” we have been waiting for? The “new” democrates. Are these the people who are going to elect him-childish, young “adults”; the “educated”, wealthy elites; republican democrates for a day; and the AA who will be forgotten IF he is elected?
This is not my democratic party.

    • rjj

I think we should ENCOURAGE more Obama supporters to make signs like this and stand outside all Clinton appearances.

HIS supporters are some of HRC’s BEST assets. I’m sure they have delivered many thousands of votes to her column. But we need to get them out into the daylight, so that people who frequent blogs aren’t the only ones they are influencing. That way they can reach many more people with their ‘uplifting’, ‘hopeful’ message — thereby delivering more votes to Clinton.

    • so saddened

excellent point. i remember the 60s, when i was unfortunately somewhat like the obamabots are now. all full of myself and loudmouthed, while knowing nothing, of course. people like me got nixon elected, i’m sad to say.

people like the obamabots will get mccain elected. most americans can’t stand a bunch of rude, crude, know-it-all teenyboppers telling them they know better.

so go at it, obamabots, put up your disgusting signs, go to your concerts, scream and yell and threaten to riot. every time you do those things, you cost your guy a lot of votes. works for me.

      • jwrjr

It is certainly true that if anybody visiting this website has uncertainty, reading comments from those lowlifes will clear that right up. The Obama cultists should remember the old saying that goes “better to be silent and thought a fool that to open your mouth and remove all doubt.”

      • s. hall

so saddened — The difference between the 60′s and now is that we were about something. Obama’s supporters just look at him as an idol and they don’t care what he stands for. My idol was Bobby Kennedy and I knew and loved everything he stood for. That was 40 years ago and Hillary has his Senate Seat. Maybe she will make it to the presidency for Bobby.

        • so saddened

          s. hall, good point. i adored bobby, too, both for what he stood for and for his toughness – reminds me of hillary. and yes, we had reasons, good ones, for our protests. like rights for minorities and women and ending the war. the obamanuts just have their rock-star love affair, similar to us putting posters of the beatles or stones on the wall.

re the loudmouth know nothing thing – i was talking about our, or at least my, lack of knowledge about how the world works. i thought that everyone simply must see things the way i did, because i was so obviously right. and i thought that the marches and protests would convince them. was i ever shocked to learn that enough millions disagreed to elect nixon. just as the obamanuts will be shocked that enough millions disagree with them to elect hillary or mccain.

Well, the one Democrat who’s pushing the gas tax holiday has told us how she plans to pay for it: By shutting off the oil companies’ capital gains loophole.
And, how exactly does the other Democrat explain HIS vote to give Illinois residents a “tax holiday” AND his desire to have gas stations in HIS district to post signs which would “remind” the people who was responsible for the “tax cut”? Huh?
Oh, that’s right. Obama was FOR a “gas tax holiday” BEFORE he was against it.
As to “credible economist”, that is an oxymoron. (Unlike Barack Obama, who is merely a moron.)

    • Strawberrybitch

When we were active duty military, we were hurting, bad. Living off foodstamps just make ends meet. We scraped change out of the couch just to get to work that day. So when Obama says a thirty dollar savings is no big deal it really does show what an elitest pig he is. And you’ve obviously never had to feed a family of five for a week for thirty bucks. As Ben Franklin said “A penny saved is a penny earned”

You see, this is another sign that Barack Obama has no clue what it REALLy is to be poor, his fictional novel notwithstanding. To some people, that savings means something. Thank God I never got so smug as to forget them.

      • apishapa

        $30/month will buy:

        2 gallons of milk
        2 loaves of bread
        2 dozen eggs
        1 lb. cheese
2 boxes of generic brand cereal
        2 fryer chickens
        10 koolaid packets
        1 lb hamburger

All on sale of course. The notion that $30 is not going to help people who are struggling to buy gas and food is just wrong.

I’ve been poor in my life and every penny helps. I had a kid over yesterday, looking for pop cans so he could buy diapers for his baby. I have raised four children alone, and I know how to scrape to get by. So, do the people who need that $30/month.

Old people living on $600/month and trying to suvive, need that $30/month.

        • zzzot

Red herring. Understand that the money you save today, you’ll be paying more tomorrow. In terms of increased gas, increased groceries, lost jobs, failing infrastructure. Everyone, and I mean everyone (including Hill) knows that this is not a good idea. It just sells tickets, buys her votes. Appealing to our most basic of needs even though it won’t do us a bit of good in the long run. Or even the short term actually. The politics of appealing to the lowest common denominator.

          • beebop

I am sure that “the lowest common denominator” as you call them will certainly remember that crass and typical elitist characterization when they stand in the voting booth. That is in fact what Senator Obama told people he thought of them with his insensitive comments in San Francisco, so his current position only reinforces that conclusion.

And in case you missed the news, one woman, one vote is still the rule of law.

            • zzzot

How did I know the “elitist” tag was coming. No originality of thought whatsoever.

              • beebop

Why be original when it suits you so well?

Effete elitist maybe a little better … hmmmm out of touch effete elitist dragging the party into oblivian to satisfy the egos of the losers in the party … Dean, Kerry, Kennedy who believe that they can play Cheney to Obama as Bush …

                • zzzot

LOL this is ridiculous. To some of you Barack Hussein may as well be Sadam Hussein. Just don’t understand all the bitterness. Pathetic really. Hillary will not be our next President. Get over it.

          • apishapa

Most of us have kids to feed today. My grocery bill is already sky high and I need help now.

Hillary’s plan holds oil companies to account for their excess profits. So, the transportation trust fund will not be affected. The infrastructure paid for out of the tax will not be affected. Oil Companies are allowed to cheat on their taxes, by simply refusing to pay tariffs owed to taxpayers. Taxpayers have been bailing out oil companies, banks, Wall Street investors, etc left and right. I thnk it is time for middle class working Americans and truck drivers to get a little help.

I do not have the option of public transportation, because I live 45 miles out of town and drive to work every day. twenty cents a gallon would make a big difference to me.

          • apishapa

With a M.S. in engineering, I do not really consider myself the “lowest common denominator”. I live in a rural, economically depressed area and my neighbors are suffering. People who make a lot less than I do have to drive just as far to work.
They need to save money TODAY. You said $30 would not make a difference and I posted a list of what $30 buys. It would be a huge help for people on limited income. Many people live on less than $1,000/month. $30 is a lot to those people.

So, get off your high horse, rich boy. 2/3 of this country would be helped a lot by a little tax break on gas and they resent being told to just tighten their belts a little more. They are already living hand to mouth.

            • zzzot

You support Hill, I understand. Don’t mean to be condescending. Look, it’s a mute point. The gas holiday will NEVER, NEVER get passed. Experts agree, hell even Clinton staffers agree it’s not good policy, just good politics.

              • apishapa

I’m condescending? It is you who call the poor “the lowest common denominator”. I am aware that Congress has no intention of helping working people get to work, and helping truckers get food to your table.

But next week when Wall Street is crying for help, those same congressmen will be opening up our wallets for us and forking over taxes paid by working class taxpayers to help out the wealthy. That is what is infuriating. It is the notion that we must be fiscally responsible only when the poor and working class need help.

                • zzzot

You misunderstood. I was trying to say I don’t mean to be condescending. lol. Just too defensive.

    • street_parade

Optimus, Let me ask you a question, its an economics question so I know you’ll love it.

If gas station A is selling a gallon of gas for $4.05 a gallon and gas station B is charging $3.87 a gallon, which one do you buy your gas from? Me? I’ll save the 18 cents a gallon and go with station B every time. How ’bout you?

I’ll take that extra $30 every month — thank you. And I’ll enjoy that $30 even more knowing the Exxon/Mobil is having to make up the difference via a tax on their $10 billion plus quarterly profits.

    • s. hall

So like Obama who takes money from the Oil Companies you think its a bad idea to help Americans out this Summer. Hey sure lets do nothing and allow the oil companies to keep raising their prices. This is what they send the big bucks to Obama for.

And of course we know Obama can’t stand the working people — so of course he doesn’t give a crap about how this hurts minimum wage workers.

    • beebop

Yeah, you hold on to that hope with all your little strength.

That probably explains why he “won” guam by that HUGE margin of 7 votes and why a recount may take that awy. That probably explains why that 20 percent plus lead is down to single digits in North Carolina and probably explains why she is beating his ass in Indiana — which is considered “home court” for him since they get the majority of their media from Chicago.

If things are going so well for Barky, why aren’t you out celebrating with your fellow Barky supporters instead of trying to sell him to us who wouldn’t vote for him if he was the ONLY name on the ballot?

You will get a reality check on Tuesday. And I hope it will hurt like falling from a skyscraper.

    • http://myspace.com/loyaldissent Garlic-Nosed Guitarist

      articles that suggest

Reality suggests differently. The consensus is that Obama is political suicide in the GE. I also think there’s a plan in place to end this nonsense and Obama will quit the race very soon. It makes no sense to drag this out any longer. Obama pulled the fear of riots card already and you can only pull the card once. People don’t fear riots now, they fear Obama.

Those suggestive articles are noise, designed to keep our morale down. Until you see an actual mass defection, its all noise. And the convention is way off, and people will change their allegiances.

Obama had a SD flip from Hillary to him the other day. That may seem good, but it also opens the door to people flipping the other way. Stay tuned, Hillary has an amazing ground operation that doesn’t give a flying fuck about Internet noise. Nor do I.

    • Joseph

Well, maybe MORE voters would “approve” of Obama’s handling of Wright if he’d had the balls to do that INSTEAD of the “great race speech”.
Obama’s SPIRITUAL MENTOR, whom he considered an “UNCLE”, didn’t SUDDENLY change in the last year, yet Obama-boo found SOME reason to keep “Uncle” Jeremiah from being at the official announcement of his candidacy last year (a reason which he STILL hasn’t explained).
Also, at Obama’s “great race speech”, he told the American public that he “could NO MORE disown” Wright than he could disown his “own grandmother”. Can we all say OBAMA LIED? Or did Obama SUDDENLY understand what Wright’s been saying for the LAST 20 DAMN YEARS that he’s known Wright? (If he’s that slow, Obama certainly isn’t ready for the White House.)
Keep on believing the empty words of “hope” from Obama. He’s the reason I may be voting for a third-party candidate this year. I can’t stomach the idea of McCain (and my conscience simply won’t allow me to vote FOR a RepubliCON), but I won’t accept Obama. Racism comes in many fashions. It happened here in Alabama in 2006 when a White Lesbian state legislator’s win was held up by an African-American losing candidate’s mother-in-law who tried to use a technicality concerning campaign finance reporting to force the White woman out. Some African-American Democrats in the state decided that *apparently* a White Lesbian couldn’t possibly have *really* won a slight African-American majority district over an African-American candidate and they actually wanted another election until it was pointed out that NO Democrat (or Republican, for that matter) had been required to follow the campaign finance rule in question–in fact, the other candidate had failed to report HER finances according to the rule as well.
Obama’s as much a racist as his supporters try to paint the Clintons. It should be remembered that Barry himself had said that he was lucky to be where he was, yet when Gerry Ferraro said it, she was accused of being a racist. (It’s also funny that Barry will only become a “black” candidate when it’s convenient for him; the rest of the time, he’s “post-racial”.)

I’m not trying to sell you. I don’t have to. He’s winning. Regardless of what’s posted on here. Your meaningless banter doesn’t change the fact that it’s not a question of “if” Obama gets the nomination, but “when.” And, Beebop, deep down you know this is right.

So, go ahead. Make yourself feel better by posting a retort. We can go back and forth all night and it won’t change a thing. Bottom line, I backed the winning team, and you didn’t. And all this stuff about “not voting for him if his was the only name on the ballot” just shows how small-minded you are. I’m assuming you don’t have any loved ones in Iraq or Afghanistan. You know…the two places we’ll be pouring more troops into for a decades long occupation if a democrat doesn’t win the election.

Finally, as for celebrating…it’s cool. Winners act like they’ve been there before. I’d rather just donate quietly. Try it some time.

    • beebop

When the final results come in in November, my young friend and he has lost by the largest margin in the history of American presidential politics, I hope that you will take it very personally. Because you and all of the people like you will have put a Republican in the White House for four more years. Your vote will have contributed to John McCain’s success. Each time someone votes for Barack Obama from this point forward, it is a vote for John mcCain.

So, for all of your professed concern about soldiers and death, you are in fact guaranteeing the very thing that you say you abhor.

A vote for Barack H. Obama guarantees an historic victory for John Sidney McCain.

      Think about that.

    • http://hype-educated-uppity-woman.blogspot.com Uppity

Did anybody explain to you that in November there are no caucuses in which you can bully people? Did anybody mention to you that those states Barry carried, some of them haven’t gone Democratic since the 60s? Or that Republicans will be voting too? And so will we! All 32 percent of us Hillary people who would rather vote for a cockroach than Barack Obama. All 4.4 million of us. This is going to be even more fun than watching McGovern go down. He got 38% after people watched the earlier rendition of Recreate68 and decided that radicals, domestic terrorists and children shouldn’t pick presidents. This is going to be fun. We will enjoy Barky going into the fetal position when the swiftboats get done with him. He’s going to make John Kerry look sincere.

That 38% gonna be much higher in general election. Mark my word.

    • street_parade

You’re a McCain backer, then? Because if Barack (Dear God, he’s tied with McCain in Massachusetts, MASSACHUSETTS!) Obama is the Dem candidate in November…well HELLO President McCain.

If you want to end the war in Iraq, then you’d back a Democrat with a shot of defeating him. Because, let me tell you something from experience Obamarama…there is not a snowball’s chance in hell that a candidate who spent 20 years and gave nearly $50K in the last 2 years to a church that can be easily characterized as a black, nationalist church is going to become President.

Likewise, there is no way that a candidate who was a friend and employee of an unrepentant terrorist (inept though he may have been) is going to be elected President. And there is no way that a candidate who INSISTS on walking into the Republican “he’s an elitist who looks down his nose at you” trap repeatedly, is going to be elected President.

Personally, I don’t care about this stuff…but I’m a distinct minority. What I do care about is NOT having another Repub in the WH. And your candidate guarantees it.

    • so saddened

obamabots have this funny thinking process. it’s all about the win, never the issues/merits – showing they’re still in high school or college.

more importantly, they celebrate – prematurely – a win in the playoffs, but don’t realize they’ve committed so many flagrant fouls that their “best” arguments won’t play in the finals. plus they’ve alienated the refs (known as voters, obamabots, in case you didn’t know) so much that the refs will severely punish them. they also forget that there are new and more numerous refs in the finals. and those refs, called repubs, are seriously prejudiced against them. so if they’ve alienated half the refs from the playoffs, plus all of the new refs, they’re s o l. they just don’t know it yet.

    • http://hype-educated-uppity-woman.blogspot.com Uppity

THIS is GOOD news!! I’ve been emailing him. A LOT of us have! FINALLY he’s doing the right thing!

Bill Clinton going to church with superdelegate Shuler
    Posted: 09:36 PM ET
Schuler is a first term Democrat.

WASHINGTON (CNN) –- Former President Bill Clinton will attend Sunday church services with North Carolina Congressman and uncommitted Democratic superdelegate Heath Shuler in his district, CNN has learned.

Shuler, a freshman congressman, is expected to announce Monday that he will pledge his support to whichever Democratic candidate wins his district in Tuesday’s primary.

The former NFL quarterback represents North Carolina’s 11th congressional district, which encompasses Asheville and the rural areas west to the border with Tennessee.

Given the demographics of Shuler’s district, Senator Hillary Clinton (D-NY) is predicted to win there on Tuesday. Shuler was heavily courted by President Clinton over the last several weeks. He also attended a meet and greet session at the Clintons’ Washington home earlier this spring.

    • Strawberrybitch

I’ve got to admit, Shuler is a fine piece of manmeat. Oh God, I must be ovulating. And since I’m so confident that Hillary is going to eat Obama’s lunch on Tuesday, I’m going to crack open a bottle of wine and take a bubblebath with my hubby. Night all, and don’t beat up on the trolls too much, poor little things are going to have their little hearts crushed soon enough.

  • Linda C.

Sexism is more permissible in this country than racism. Let’s face it, rape is not considered a hate crime. It is unfortunate that we tolerate it, but we still do. However, what we can see is the attitude that it was Hillary’s fault that Bill was unfaithful to it blaming Hillary for every mistake that Obama has made. It reminds me of men blaming the biblical Eve, and women by association, for everything that has ever happened to them.

What Bill Clinton does or doesn’t do is Hillary’s fault. Senator Obama performance at the debate was Senator Clinton’s fault. Reverend Wright’s rants at the press club were also Hillary’s fault since a person there was also a Hillary supporter. Senator Clinton is not a god powerful enough to make people utter words and behave in certain manners. This reaction to Senator Clinton is not based in any reality of Senator Clinton.

Michelle has sunk to a new low in misogynistic racism.
First she says that “this is what they say families are supposed to look like” tell me that if Hillary or any of Hills staff said that they would not be eviscerated for racism. It was a transparent racist remark.

Then she blames Hillary for her husbands infidelities.

One step forward for Obama and his misogynistic racist family 5 steps back for human rights, woman’s rights and christianity.

Considering Hillary has raised one hell of a fine daughter and has a husband who loves her and on last count they were still married.
What the hell does she mean this is not a role model family?

I guess a role model family is black, a man who by Michelle’s words only comes home 10 times a year, and a man who is caught in two homosexual scandals of his own, one involving drugs, should not be throwing stones.

BO Barbie has struck a blow against white women again hurrah, I guess all white women, and all women who have ever had their guy cheat on them can get on under that bus.

That sign is stupid and hurtful.

This post says, “IMAGINE the outcry if a Hillary supporter held up a racially-denigrating sign about Obama. (Well, not a single Hillary supporter would do that. Which is a “tell” about the difference in maturity and judgment of the two campaigns.)”

Focus on this part: “not a single Hillary supporter would do that.”

    Rilly? :)

And its only the pro-Obama bloggers and supporters who have a self-aggrandizing messiah complex?

    Rilly? :)

(Again, that sign is bad. I agree there.)

Moving a little off the exact thrust of the topic, SOME SAY that Hillary is the one running kamikaze, party-undermining, history-negating, right-wing talking-point-embracing, campaign that shows bad judgement and something other than political maturity.

I just saw the Michelle Obama clip. She shouldn’t being saying that. It’s mean.

However, I don’t see any racism in the short evening news clip linked above. Reading some sort of anti-white meaning into her comment, when it’s clearly about fidelity, is bizarre to me. Total projection.

Someone mentioned Obama being in two homosexual affairs???? What??? Come on, get a grip. Don’t believe every tweaker you see on YouTube, please.

  • Ijane

The “Hillary not pleasing Bill/Can’t run your own home how ya gonna run the white house”, sexist bullshit was started by the Barack Obama campaign. Michelle said this first in Chicago although Obama said she was talking about their own family. She later altered the same speech to ADD the part about her children. The second time it was referenced was in one of Jeremiah Wright’s church sermons. The third time this was referenced was by the Obama staffer, Maxim Thorne. The next few times this was brought up by an Obama plant at college campuses that Chelsea Clinton was speaking.

Whether the person was asked to put the sign up in the window by an Obama staffer or did it on their own, they got the reference idea from the Obama campaign in the first place. Axelrod needs to be thanking his lucky stars that feminist groups aren’t as vocal as they used to be because if they were they’d be screaming to the media about the Obama campaign for using this line of attack seeing as how it victimizes women by blaming them for their straying husbands. Of course, this attack falls in line with the other sexist attacks made by Obama and his campaign:

    - Jay-Z’s “I got 99 problems but a bitch ain’t one.” blasted at their victory party rally in Des Moines, Iowa, on Jan. 3.
    - “Look, I’ve got two daughters. 9 years old and 6 years old. I am going to teach them first of all about values and morals. But if they make a mistake, I don’t want them punished with a baby. I don’t want them punished with an STD at the age of 16.” Oh really Obama? If the girls get punished for not listening to your morals and values with a baby or std, what happens to the boys? Don’t they get punished?
    - Middle finger to the law and Dirt Off Your Shoulder
    - Pennsylvania: What do I need to do? Do you want me on my knees?”… “I’ll give you a kiss.”

Hey Obama I’ll tell you what you need to do, how ’bout bending over and squealing like a pig?

  • Ann

I hope Obama gets the lashing he should for allowing such signs as this. Yes, they are correct, can you imagine what kind of headlines would hit CNN, MSNBC and FOX tomorrow if a Hillary supporter were to hold up a racist sign.

Look at guys like Ayers, and that whole stuck in the 70′s crew.

      Are you really surprised?

I’m not, it’s more our projections that lead us to think those men were egalitarian.

They’re loud mouthed posers, we projected, because we thought they were just like us.

They’re not, they’re screwed up mama’s boys and daddy’s boy, selfish, self hating cretins who can’t compete, with men or women.

I guess that’s why they went into politics, or became Dick Morris.

It’s like the attack of the Dick Morris pod people, an army of dicks, an army of lil dicks, dick morris.

Once it’s understood, it’s pretty easy to see where it all comes from, all the hate, and confusion, the pure childish churlishness of that group.

Kind of like a four year old, in desperate need of a nap, it’s their baseline mood.

I remember as a child observing those guys, in the 70′s, the way they behaved, treated the women around them, always wearing, say, a stupid John Bolton moustache, always a little fat, always peeved, always the least talented, always.

NO ONE took them seriously, until Rush Limbaugh and/or Howard Stern gave them, the passive aggressive a voice, the Dick Morris pod people.

Finally, an identity — no talent hate filled impotent posers, the American politburo, on the radio…

Those guys could suck the chrome off a 56 Buick, cause that’s all they do, blow each other, a self contained daisy chain group of wannabe ops, under the pseudonym “Jennifer Pupp.”

I understand and you’re probably right in that regard I’ve never been as sensitive to those issues as I probably should have. This is a perfect example of the ineffectiveness of Barack Obama. Have you seen his followers step up to “A HIGHER PLANE” yet? No – America has heard report after report of the bullying that has gone on by Obama supporters at state caucuses t/o the country. We’ve all seen how “well” he unites America – through supporting a racist who spews hatred toward the white race – some uniter. He, Jesse Jackson,Jr. & David Axelrod have run a campaign of race baiting and passive aggressive digs that, when caught, Obama deftly blames on others. Have we ever seen him accept personal responsibility for anything? That’s how he operates. That’s why we see him consistently and repeatedly lie about race baiting, Wright, Rezko, Ayers, Dohrn, Khalidi, Auchi, and others. Passive aggressive narcicist – that’s not meant as an insult – that’s meant as a true analysis.

Obama supporters are very rude. When the Gov. of NC was booed, Barack said nothing. When that awful sign was displayed in front of the Obama campaign, his staff did nothing. When Michele says things like “If you can’t take care of your own house, how can you take care of the White House?” make me sick. Obama goes on and on about how he is running a positive campaign. I have not seen much proof of that. I watched Meet the Press with him yesterday and Hillary on George Stephenopolis Show and she kicked his ass! Go Hillary

  • Linda C.

If Michelle Obama gave as much thought what it meant to be Black as she did what it means to be a Black Woman, then her tune would change. Shirley Chisolm said she experienced more sexism than racism. She is totally tied into the patriarchal myth that men are never responsible for their sexual indiscretions.

Given the nature of politics and politicians, Michelle Obama’s words are going to haunt her and bite her in the ass. Karma is a bitch.

Her attitude lets the others play with derogatory signs that are totally off the “issues’ that BO wants to disparately talk about…well rather not talk about because he has no real clue.

Uppity, I don’t know what we, (KOS, Post and C&L refugees) would do without you. But I’m impressed, I’ve never seen a troll infestation so thick, even during the 2004 election. You and Susan and Larry really have these toads freakin’ out. As my Oma always said ‘It’s the squeaky wheel that gets the grease. Kinda’ creepy though, how Bushbots sound so much like Obamabots.

          • zzzot

Well I tried Uppity. But let’s say Obama does lose in the GE. Do you on this board really think that HRC has a snowballs chance in hell in 2012 for the Democratic Nom?? No way. Her hopes for EVER becoming President are done. Accept that, vote for B and make the world a better place. lol.

It’s not that she didn’t make Bill happy it’s the fact he is just human and you have a young woman that comes on to him and being human he just went for it…Hillary makes me and alot of people happy, and we don’t even have to sleep with her…

    • beebop

Are more voters interested in her policies and plans? Hmmmmmm I guess we’ll see.

Would be nice to allow the people in Florida and Michigan to weigh in on their thinking process, but Barky doesn’t really give a shit what they think … at least that’s my take on it.

  • http://paganpower.wordpress.com/ Pagan Power

I know that the Hillary campaign would never allow signs like that outside or inside an event. The campaign strongly encourages deep respect for other candidates. The only subject NOT off limits is criticizing Bush or Cheney. But even then it has to be within the bounds of good taste.

The Obama campaign has from the start encouraged this type of behavior, whether it was from Michele Obama’s can’t take care of her own house comments or Wright’s Bill did us like he did Monika comments. Nothing has been out of bounds for them, including intimidation and death threats. The people that support Obama, the vast majority of them has the morals of a psychopath. They are the ones that will do or say anything to seize power. Thankfully we still live in a democracy and have the ability to vote this guy and his band of thugs out.

  • Illinois woman for Clinton

All liberal voters should know that the Illinois National Organization for Women refused to endorse Obama in his 2004 Senatorial campaign, and refuses to endorse him for President. (See Illinoisnow.org) They analyzed his Illinois “present” votes on women’s reproductive rights, and determined that they were not, in fact, all done as part of a strategic agreement with Planned Parenthood, as the Obama campaign has led progressive women to believe. They refuse to endorse him for President, pointing out Clinton’s long and consistent record of supporting women’s issues.

  • AmyinSC

Well, I went to Obama’s site, as requested, and said I found the acceptance of these types of signs by members of his own campaign staff to be unacceptable. Moreover, that doing so reflected poorly on Obama’s campaign. Then I got this form letter back from him. Oh, brother – are you freakin’ KIDDING me with this? It had VERY little to do with what I actually wrote. What the hell ELSE is new with him?!?! Oh – and I refrained from making snarky comments throught the letter. Feel free to add your own.

    Here’s the letter:
    Dear Friend,

Thank you for sharing your observations on the tone of the dialogue in this campaign. This is an aspect of modern politics that understandably troubles
many voters, and I take your comments seriously.

In the final stage of the primary campaign, candidates are seeking to contrast their positions and public record with those of their opponents. That is not only legitimate public discourse, it helps individual voters decide which candidate best reflects their aspirations for the country.

There is a distinction, however, between laying out differences between you and your opponents and “attacking” them personally. I have no interest in crossing that line. But, in my view, pointing out inconsistencies in terms of how people
present themselves now versus what they were talking about years before is fair in a campaign with consequences of this magnitude.

We owe it to our country and our Party to put forward the best presidential nominee possible. And to do that, every candidate must be tested. They must answer tough questions, and tell the American people what they believe, even when it’s not the easiest thing to do politically. If we nominate a candidate who won’t explain his or her positions or can’t defend their record, that person will have a very difficult time against the Republican nominee.

Democrats need to present the American people with a fresh start and a clear choice next November. When I’m your nominee, my opponent won’t be able to say
that I was for the war in Iraq before I was against it; or that I supported an extension of the Iraq war into Iran; or that I support the Bush-Cheney diplomacy of not talking to leaders we don’t like. And he won’t be able to say that I flip-flopped on something as fundamental as whether our nation should use torture.

The stakes are too high to leave it to the press and the pundits to define the candidates before voting and caucusing begins. That’s why I will continue to
ask the other candidates tough questions and hold them to account for vague or inconsistent answers. And I welcome the same questions from them, and from you. No one’s perfect, so everyone needs to admit when they’re wrong, and show that they’ve learned from their mistakes.

The politics of hope doesn’t mean hoping you don’t get asked tough questions. It means that we debate our plans and our records openly, without the
mean-spirited personal attacks that have plagued our politics for too long. It means that after a full and open debate, when all the facts are aired and all candidates have their say, the voters will decide.

I’m spending most of my campaign time this year talking to the American people about who I am and what I will do as President. I’ve set out a vision for a nation that is more united, healthier, better educated, more secure financially, safer at home, and more respected abroad. I’ve listened to America – to workers and farmers and policy experts – about how to achieve this vision, and developed
    policies to get us there.

I’ve done more than talk about change. I’ve made it happen during more than a decade as a legislator, as a community organizer, a civil rights lawyer, and a
law professor. I’ve demonstrated the ability to practice the politics of hope and get real results. I’ve brought people together to achieve big goals when others said it couldn’t be done, brought a new level of transparency and openness to the Illinois government and Congress, and built the largest
grassroots movement in the history of presidential politics with the most small donors and without money from lobbyists and special interests. To learn more about my accomplishments and proposals for the future, please visit barackobama.com/issues.

This is the leadership I will bring to America as president, and I hope you’ll look past the headlines and the political posturing and judge for yourself.
It’s going to take millions of people united for change to fix our politics, so I hope you’ll join us.

Thank you again for contacting me.

    Sincerely,

    Barack Obama

OK KIDS… can we stop slinging mud now? Let’s let the people of Indiana and North Carolina tell us what THEY think.

I get it. Those who love Barack LOVE Barack. Those who love Hillary LOVE Hillary.

We’ll see you tonight when the results come in.

By the way… Hillary has done nothing to Barack. He has done it to himself. And his silence when supporters cross the line with violence and hate does not speak well for a man who campaigns on bringing us together.

And I know of no Hillary supporters who push people into the street… although we all may have wanted to numerous times.

That being said, I also have to say that NOT ALL BARACK SUPPORTERS ARE LIKE THAT. I was a poll watcher in Texas and the Barack folks next to us were civil and cordial all throughout the day. This was not the case at other polling places but it was at ours.

So, we all want our gal or guy to win. Let’s see what the good folks in N.C. and Indiana have to say about it .

    The conversation continues….

Too much, too little, too late to ever try again
Too much, too little, too late, let’s end it being friends
Too much, too little, too late, we knew it had to end

      Ah, it’s over
      It’s over

Guess it’s over, the chips are down (whoa)
Nearly all our bridges tumbled down

Whatever chance we try, let’s face it why deny
      It’s over (It’s over)
      It’s over

Too much, too little, too late to ever try again
Too much, too little, too late, let’s end it being friends
Too much, too little, too late, we knew it had to end
      And it’s over

      And it’s over

      And it’s over

    Larry,
I’m really sorry, but we were moving stuff around inside your local barber shop when someone accidently knocked over the bowl with which we put atop your head before cutting your hair. Yep, it hit the floor and busted into many sharp pieces.

After cleaning it up and looking around, we can only find a much smaller bowl which we can use in its place.

There won’t be much if any improvement over the old bowl as this bowl has only a 6″ diameter and will make you look like you have a permanent Jewish Kippah (skull cap) on your head, which you might like better than your present look.

Also, your dentist called here and said he has the teeth whitener you’ve ordered and he says to lay off the heavy coffee drinking which is making your mouth such an eye sore.

Last but not least, your web administrator called to say, your website is carrying content with greater vitrolic effect and some of your inner nastiness is showing way too much. He says to tone it down, or he’s quitting.

But from all of your friends at the barber shop, me included, we still love ya but are wondering when you will loosen up and get your head out of your arse.

    Signed,
    Your barber

(Oh, and your webpage content provider showed me how to use an IP disguising service. Just thought you’d like to know.)

Waxing the floor, steve? Do you people even notice what comes out when you open your primordial mouths.

For your clear information, we get you believe barry-boy’s speeches, but catch up a little with reality. He will never ever ever be President. You can hack websites, dub fake videos (and fake ballots), send lying mailers, make obscene signs, harass elderly voters and generally act like something less than fully human – and here is what will not change:

Were your candidate to steal the nomination with his fixed caucuses 48 state strategy and Super Delegate pay offs, real true Democrats, like us, in huge numbers WILL DEDICATE OUR LIVES, if necessary, to DEFEAT OBAMA. He does not represent us. You all disgust us. And we will not allow your ignorance and his manipulation of people’s emotions to turn America into a far left and fragmented state.

I guess you know what you can do with your Yes We Can- because we will be out there letting you know: NO YOU CAN’T! Better hop on a new dream that has a snowball’s chance in hell of coming true.

  • yttik

It’s not about you Obamarama, if Obama is nominated the whole country will loose. There is no win to be had here. This is politics, not a sporting event. It’s not like your team “wins” the nomination and you get to go home and say “good game”, let’s have a beer.

This primary is nothing, it’s going to get a whole lot uglier. And if by some miracle, (like McCain is struck by lightening and the Republicans lay down and let Obama win the general election), he’ll be faced with an incredible mess in the white house. A crashing economy and endless war. He doesn’t have the experience or the skills needed to start shoveling the large piles of manure that the next president will inherit. Within weeks Obama will be labeled a miserable failure, a disgrace on the Democrats, because he is incapable of correcting all the mistakes of the Bush administration. He will be viewed as a real looser. Obama is not going to the mountaintop, he’s going to clean the stables out.

The presidency is not a “prize”, it’s a horrendous job at the moment, something that’s going to take a lot of self sacrifice and incredible skill just to begin to repair some of the damage that’s been done by the Bush administration.

  • http://hype-educated-uppity-woman.blogspot.com Uppity

I guess his internal polls told him it was a bust.Republicans are crossing over for Hillary like crazy throughout the state.I think we will see numbers similiar to PA or better.

  • zzzot

Man… what a bunch of losers you Hillary folks are. Bitter and clinging to Hillary (your god) is what I see. LOL. It is a foregone conclusion that he will be the nominee. But the animosity…wow, get a life. Anger management is one suggestion in dealing with the disappointment.

  • zzzot

Hillary Clinton circle jerk. She’s DONE, the numbers don’t lie. But the venom is what I can’t get past. Some of you have some serious issues in your lives to post such vitriol. Hey, I don’t much like Hillary but I would vote for her any day over John M. I guess you just have to be a grown up…or an Obama supporter to have any common sense. lol.

We’re angry when a danger is posed to our country. And BO is a danger. He doesn’t care about this country as we do, and it is glaringly obvious. All he cares about is fame and fortune. Well, he’s definitely getting the fame, but I don’t think it’s the kind he wanted. And it’s about to get much worse for him. And there goes his fortune. Maybe he can get some more organized crime people to help him again.

  • Talktruth

You would vote for her because she is a great candidate. Barack Obama is not. In fact, he’s a horrible candidate, and that is why many of us here will never vote for him. My heart goes out to those that voted for him in a primary, thinking he was telling the truth. He never would had gotten past Iowa if people knew then what they know now.
