I was for Chris Gabrieli…I never was enamored of Duval’s glib speeches, so it’s not been “fool me” even “once.”

But after his speech in Philadelphia

He tried once more to persuade whites

But when all was said and done

But the blacks who benefited the most are the ones who abandoned their brothers and sister in the urban communities to seek refuge in suburban communities among whites. That’s who I’m talking about. The ones who are employed, have health insurance and don’t care if everyone’s not covered under Obama’s plan. And if you really cared about these people you’d support Hillary.

But all you care about is making simplistic and basically irrational arguments in support of a candidate who is woefully unqualified to be POTUS after George Bush’s horrendous administration.

Obama DID PLAY THE RACE CARD! It began when Michelle misquoted Bill Clinton re the fairy tale remark. Do we really have to go over that again? I don’t intend to. And AAs got fucking pissed off at the thought that Michelle stated that Bill had called Obama’s candidacy a fairy tale because he was black. HE SAID NO SUCH THING! And no one ever apologized for the misquote.

My point is that AAs used this to justify their support for Obama when all they had to do was to support him. It was their right. Just like it was my right as an AA to support Hillary without being called names by other blacks.

In the end, all this did was cost the AA community its public dignity and good will among the kindred spirits in the white community who still rallied behind the fight against racism and for equal rights.

It didn’t have to go down this way. AAs could have easily supported Obama with a promise to support Hillary if she won the nomination, like the loyal Democrats they’ve always been. NO! It just had to turn ugly…. into threats of violence and rioting, intimidation tactics and name calling.

And the worst offenders have been the AAs who benfited most from the Clinton administration.

So much for the transcendent candidate of hope and change!
