Tell The Reporter at Washington Post Why You Will Never Vote Obama

I found a post over at the petition site for people who are pledging not to vote for Barky Obama. A reporter from the Washington Post is seeking to interview Hillary supporters as to why they will not support Barack Obama if he is the nominee.

I have confirmed here that “Washpost.com” is indeed the Washington Post emailing domain. I can also confirm that “Krissah Williams” is a reporter there. As you can see, she has written some interesting election pieces, including “One Way Or Another, The Women Will Decide It“. You should of course do a confirmation as to who you are speaking with or emailing to before interviewing. She is working on the story until tomorrow, so time is short.

“10:43 am PDT, May 5, Krissah Williams, Washington D.C. **This is a note from a reporter seeking interviews with some of the signers of this petition* I am writing a story Democratic primary voters that feel like that cannot support one of the Democratic candidates in November. I would like to interview many of you about why you would not vote for Sen. Obama. I am seeking to write a fair story and so far have had more luck reaching supporters of Sen. Obama who feel like they can not support Sen. Clinton. Please help. You can reach me by phone at 202-577-3833 or e-mail at williamsk@washpost.com. I am working on this story until Thursday, May 8th. Please contact me as soon as possible if I may interview you. “

Ooooooo I just got Zogby polled! Gues what one of the questions was? WHICH CANDIDATE WILL YOU NEVER VOTE FOR?

  • John

I’ve already told the Washington Post why I have stopped buying their paper after twenty-five years of loyal readership: because this year they’ve become a clearinghouse for Anti-Hillary Op-Ed peices, letters to the editor, and “News” stories, with no interest in providing balance or journalistic integrity.

I’m enjoying my extra fifty cents per day.

  • Jeff

“I’m enjoying my extra fifty cents per day.”

Well, at least it’s more than eighteen…

  • Talktruth

Thanks, Ups, I will go right over there and check it out.

In the meantime, here’s something you may enjoy from http://www.stop-Obama.org. Hope it’s not a repost:

There are no Racialized Black Blocks to be seen for the remaining six primaries, so North Carolina is Excrement0’s last big win!

I hear the yelps, howls and screams from some in the Media – “Got Whooped in NC” and “Quit Hillary Quit – but why should she, if we all know that the next 4 Big Primaries, are hers to keep?

What can the Obama Hos do? They know they cant win if Clinton trudges on,and are left to holler louder for us to throw in the towel!

Uh-uh. Keep dreaming, screaming, and beaming your Hope- because you’ll need googles of it, if you want your Hossama to even be considered (Allah Forbid!) for the Veep slot.

If anyone is interested but hesistant, I just found this page on the Washinton Post site that lets you email the reporter directly:

CNN Live Hillary just now said HEATH SCHULER has endorsed her!!

YaHOOO HEATH you are a man of your word so you GOT my support and vote next time around! GOODIE!!!

I don’t think that will help as well. The reporter provided her personally email address and specifically asked for them to use it directly. It’s probably best to follow her request and not have everybody coming at her from different places. The deadline is near and she’s looking.

Except it’s not even 18–it was never going to be. Removing a tax increases demand, demand increases price, folks are right back where they started, only $9 billion short of highway funds.

  • pm317

Hi Uppity, I put this as a response to you on another thread but this is what I sent the reporter:

    Here are my reasons:
    1. Most importantly, she has the brains — it will be good to have
somebody in the WH who is as brilliant as she is after 8 years of the
    current bozo.
    2. Her priorities are the right priorities for me — healthcare, economy,
energy, Education — science and technology (my personal favorite — she
talks about increasing R&D budget for NIH and NSF).
    3. She is tough — did you watch her interview with Bill O’Reilly? She is
not afraid to take anybody on at an intellectual level. Why, for that
matter, I have never seen a politician reach so many audiences in one
sitting — she knows exactly whom she should address with her response and
the brilliance of it is she is doing this on the fly, kind of optimizing
your expression to convey the most impact on your ideas.
    4. She is sincere and her passion for public service shows.
    5. Finally, we have an abundantly qualified female candidate. We have to
be absolutely blind, deaf, and dumb to think otherwise. She will beat
    McCain in a heart beat.
    —————
Now why I will never vote for Obama if he is the nominee:
    1. He has blocked revote in FL and MI and preventing counting those votes.
Things like this should not happen in a democracy and I want no part of
it. He is illegitimate winning it this way.
    2. His judgment is in question because of his extended associations with
    people of questionable character.
    3. His character is in question because of all the corrupt ways in which
he won caucuses and some primaries, even as recent as last night — Gary
and Lake county IN and mock ballots that looked real and said official on
them in NC. About 90%, 600k votes of his lead comes from Illinois and
about more than 400k of that comes from Cook county. I have dug up actual
numbers on this and they don’t make sense.
    4. His paper thin resume — stealing other people’s work in Illinois state
senate in his last year, present votes, hitting the wrong button defense
on some bills (my personal fav) and nothing of importance in the US
    senate.
    5. A suspicion on why the DNC and the media are forcing this candidate on
us. There is still not much vetting on this candidate and there is much
    more we don’t know about.
    6. Bottomline, he has not earned my trust. He is not electable. He has not
built the broad coalition required to win in November. I refuse to be
coerced into accepting a weaker candidate pushed through by a minority voting bloc.

  • Jeff

Here’s a question for the No Quarter folks:

I will show them why I won’t vote for Obama rather than tell them.

  • Kourian

Would you support an Obama-Clinton ticket?

    No. You. Gotta. Be. Kidding.

PS. Who is looking into election graft? Who knows how many Obamabots came across the borders from Illinois and South Carolina? That’s why the polls didn’t see it coming: they survey people in the states, not the paid renegades who come in at nighttime to bust the party.

It’s really funny: the Republicans are choosing the Democrat candidate. It’s too stupid for words. And who’s responsible? The Democrats of course.

    Ridiculous.

  • CB

CALIFORNIANS…would you still vote for Hillary if the primary were held
    today?

    From today’s S.F. Chronicle:

Congressman Farr (Monterey) also wondered whether California, by far
the biggest trove of delegates, would still vote for Clinton today,
having given her a solid nine-percentage-point victory 13 weeks and
several political lifetimes ago, preventing her from losing the
nomination and Obama from cinching it.

Californians, fax the undeclared super delegate Farr to tell him affirmatively that
you would still vote for Hillary!

[I wrote this: "At the time of the California caucus, I would have voted for Obama if
he were the nominee, but would not have volunteered or donated. Now I
will not vote for him. [I gave my reasons.] I’m writing in Hillary’s name. Finally, I’ll be
able to vote for a President I’d be proud of. If Florida and Michigan
are not counted fairly, I’m leaving the party.]

Here’s the story from the Obama-endorsing Chronicle.

Rep. Sam Farr, whose Monterey district went narrowly for Clinton, is
one of the superdelegates in a lingering group of about 75 Democratic
members of Congress who has not lined up with either camp.

In the end, Democrats need to focus on how to win more states,” Farr
said. “I think that’s where a lot of the pressure will build. … We
need to win one more blue state, moving it from red to blue, and the
swing states that everybody is looking at are Ohio or Florida.
Assuming Democrats hold all the states they held in the last election,
and they get either Ohio or Florida, they win the presidency. That’s
    Hillary’s argument.”

Other factors will also be at play for superdelegates, Farr said,
    including simple self interest.
“Democratic members have said to me privately, if Barack is at the
head of the ticket, they won’t do well, they won’t get re-elected, and
I’ve heard the same thing if Hillary is at the top,” Farr said. “It
depends on what kind of district you represent. … All the members of
Congress have to get re-elected in their own districts.”

THE FOLLOWING IS THE PARAGRAPH THAT I FIND ASTOUNDING!
Farr also wondered whether California, by far the biggest trove of
delegates, would still vote for Clinton today, having given her a
solid nine-percentage-point victory 13 weeks and several political
lifetimes ago, preventing her from losing the nomination and Obama
    from cinching it.

There are good folks here who are very passionate about their candidate, and show it. Though I disagree with them on almost everything, I’m laying off of them today because I know they’ve had a tough night, and I also think they deserve congratulations for their victory in Indiana, which is being overshadowed by the blowout in N.C.

If Donna Brazile, Howard Dean, Nancy Pelosi sat around in a room together for six months and tried to figure out how to get a thirty year Democrat to not only refuse to vote for the Democratic candidate, but to seriously consider leaving the party, they could not have done a better job.

The bias, the sexism, the bullshit caucuses, the disenfranchisement of two major states, a nominee with the thinnest of resumes (and ties to crooks, terrorists and a nutcase preacher), the insulting of a former two-term president…..I mean it goes on and on and on.

I would have to be psychotic to vote for Barack Obama, or have no self-respect. For the first time I see how the Republicans view us–a coalition of naive college students, limousine liberals, AAs, and an assorted collection of misfits hell-bent on self-destruction.

To be clear: this is way beyond not voting for Barack Obama, who will have his ass handed to him in the GE, this is about how the Democratic party has done everything it can to PURGE me from their ranks.

Women over 45, Latinos, and the white working class are going to flee this party and never come back.
    I guarantee it.

  • Milly

    what about telling them this:

I am sorry, if due to political tactics, Sen Rodham at any time is forced to ask us, the people who believe in her expertise and intelligence to lead this nation, to give our support to Barack, I won’t, and neither can’t a lot of people who are “democrats”. If we have to stop being loyal to a party that will act as a dictator, by forcing us to support their ‘puppet’ in order to win the elections, no way! This is not about winning elections, this is about being sincere and responsible when casting our votes for the best candidate to lead the country!

It is time then to go independent, to end and delete and denounce being a democrat, if they want us to betray Sen Rodham. I won’t be part of that kind of political assassination, they know Barack is not even a democrat, not radical, nor marxist, he is a man, who thinks ‘he knows how to play people minds’, and wants power the way, his cousin obtained power in Africa, by deceiving, he and his wife, just want ‘power’, ‘revenge’ to be the leaders of an era of looking down at other races, they think we don’t know what is in their mind? And that is not fair for the people of the United States, it is time to unmask this ‘man’ who thinks we are ‘cards’ of his poker game!

And this time, I hope Sen Rodham dare to go with all her will and ‘ obliterate’ for once and for all ‘the billionaires and crooks behind’ this ‘big scam’ that this election has become. What they fear, that truth about Sen Barack will come out by ‘itself’ and he would have to denounce himself, and accept in front of the cameras, this time, that he has abused his political position to gain “power” no matter what and lied in a way that will cost him his nomination? It will come out Sen Barack, you will see, forget about the billionaires giving you support, you will drag down them with you. That’s what you and your entourage fear, otherwise why to rush your nomination?

This nation needs to born again, and Sen Rodham have the character, but we are aware she will face a tough time, and I like others know the pundits will try to say it is her fault, when she will have to take in her hands, a country that is in bankrupt, people won’t accept if they start living in a prosperous era again, was due to the ‘will of a woman’, that ‘fact’ will go to the history of the United States, and ‘the caiaphas’ don’t want that.

But be ready, this time we will not be silenced, the way they silenced us and forced Al Gore to accept being defeated on the basis of “the biggest electoral manipulation of all times”, this time we will protest through all the means available. We won’t be scared, we will stand by her, not him! You go Hillary, don’t let them put you down, nor allow them to tell you to shut up, you tell them, ‘you shut up, and to listen loud and clear…”the commander in chief is talking and will be taking charge’!

  • ChrisXP

Would you support an Obama-Clinton ticket?

We’ve seen this VIDEO of the heated exchange, on CNN, between Mayor McDermott and Mayor Clay about the delayed results in Gary.

Now, consider this from FOX’s coverage last night: Democratic strategist Bob Bechtel told a story about covering an Indiana primary once and said Lake County is always last because of Gary. He said he once called the Gary mayor and asked when he’d have the results and the reply was “well that depends, how many votes do you need?”.

This suggests an evident history of chicanery in Gary, IN. Should that just fly below the radar or what? Am I alone here in thinking this is NEWS?

    I just wrote the Post:

    Ms. Williams,

I notice mention that you are writing on folks who do not support or plan to vote for Obama if Clinton fails to secure the nomination. I am one of those people.

I actively support Clinton and find McCain as a viable alternative. Both are credible, experienced, ready, and all of the normal things you likely hear. Part of my choice is that both are moderates and I trust that what I see is what I get. As a gut feel, I do not see the same with Obama. I definitely do not trust him nor feel that we know enough. It is very troubling that any critique of Obama is pounced upon as somehow racist by Obama and that his cult-like is obnoxious in their derogatory and offensive insults to critics. I fear that Obama will join the long list of Democrats that have led the party to defeat: Kerry, Gore, Dukakis, and Mondale.

My only comfort is that I can vote for McCain and whether he or Clinton win, I will be happy.

    Matthew

It is not that they are unorganized. HRC’s hands are tied — she can’t bring up any of the complaints without looking bad and without taking legal action.

It is the media’s responsibility to shine light on these shenanigans. Hey, they won’t do it — they were so late to react to that Lake county stuff last night. They are failing us like they failed us before, especially with the war.

  • so saddened

sorry to burst your bubble, independent, but many of us are not only pro-hillary, we’re unalterably anti-obama. hillary as vp wouldn’t change that.

and being anti-obama is being pro-america. your guy is so wrong for the country it’s pathetic.

thankfully, he doesn’t stand a chance in a general, so we’ll be saved from the disaster he would be.

btw, one of the biggest conceits of your guy is his pathetic attempt to equate himself to jfk. i think of that from time to time and remember the time of the cuban missile crisis. jfk had a wealth of foreign policy expertise and clear-headed judgment, neither of which your guy has. jfk prevented nuclear destruction. if your guy were president at the time, humanity would’ve died in 1961.

    Dear Independent,

Enjoy it while it lasts. The shitstorm that is about to descend on you and your candidate will wipe the smirk off your face. I will take a great deal of pleasure in watching the media take him apart. I look forward to Donna Brazile’s commentary during this process on CNN. Should be fun.

If you wanted Clinton voters, you should have acted like it a long time ago. But keep up the snark and the insults, it only gives me more pleasure in anticipating what is in store for you and your candidate in the days ahead.

    Love,
    Raymo

Yep I’m learning every day about them. That is also why I don’t THINK she would take the VP position.

Unless, she had inside information that made it BETTER for her to run as VP against waiting until 2012 to try it again if ever. She’s not a spring chicken.

It’s just my idea that if she actually TOOK the offer she would have to KNOW something.

    fwiw

  • requiemforadancer

K** thinks he’s more important than he is, Obama wasn’t the only one who went bowling.

    Dumb man, isn’t he?

  • Dawnelle

I did NOT say I would not vote for Hillary for VP.

I’ll vote for HILLARY for ANY thing!

If she thinks Obiwan’s negatives can be lessened if she’s on the ticket and she has a back door handle on it………. I trust HER!

  • B-Rob

From the American Conservative Union’s 2007 lifetime ratings of Senators (100 = perfect conservative record):

    Obama — 7.67 (17th most liberal)

    Clinton — 7.71 (18th most liberal)

If Obama is, to quote one poster here

a guy more Left than Mao

I guess that makes Hillary a little to the right of Jiang Qing.

  • Davebo

Ah yes, your lifelong democrats ready to take your bawl and go home.

It’s like a blog with a thousand Lieberman look alikes.

Well guess what folks. You can piss and moan all you want.

Come January of 08 you’ll be about as relevant as Holy Joe in the GOP.

  • B-Rob

    Tell ‘em, Dave!

  • pm317

I posted on this several topics ago and I don’t save the links. However, if you google with Cook county, illinois 2008 presidential elections:
    the first entry is this:
    http://www.theneweditor.com/index.php?/archives/7783-The-Power-of-Cook-County,-Illinois.html

It has the numbers I mention. Check talkleft comments thread for last night Gary thing. Caucus fraud, there was a blog here recently but I have heard accounts of real people describing their experience.

  • B-Rob

And Hill-bots, here is another question:

How do you make the argument that Hillary should be the nominee when 16 million voters, comparing her and Obama, have said “Thanks, but no thanks, Hill”? Talks about disenfranchisement!

  • typicalbubba

Obama’s campaign took off when Hillary compared herself to LBJ and Bill said Obama’s antiwar stance was a fairy tale. I agreed with them both, yet the media made it into a big race smear against the crackers from Arkansas. In other words, they picked our candidate for us again.

Obama said he was a uniter not a divider. He divided the Democratic party – by choice. He said his was a new politics and that all the old Democrats had been too bitter, too partisan. He made kissy face with Republicans while telling Dems to kiss off. If this is what he’s done for the party, imagine what he can do for the country.

There is nothing new about Obama’s politics. It’s the same old dance with those who brung him. Simply look at the banking interests, the privatization interests, and the new special interest franchise – black bankers for Obama. If he tries to do at a federal level what has been done at state, we’ll redirect 19% of public funds to minority bankers. This privatization has generated big fees but hasn’t made a return for the taxpayers.

I think he’s a puppet on a string and the hopey changey thing is a fraud.

I will not vote for him. He built his self-serving base at the expense of lifelong democrats. I’m ready to throw in the towel on the party, and I’m sure the money interests are happy to see the populist part of the party done in. All you young Obama voters – you broke it, you bought it.

  • DP

I agree with all of the following from PM317. One addition:

Anyone who displays such childish antics as very publicly giving his opponent the finger after losing a debate does not deserve to be anywhere near the White House or the US Senate.

  • Jeff

“No one died and made you the moralist here.”

No one was talking to you. Move along.

  • Centrocitta

I don’t know about anybody else but I find the around the clock, 24-hour, seven day a week coverage of every time either candidate takes a poop to be extremely nauseating. And I sinceely hope you folks are taking some time out from all of this pointless frivolity to warn your young people of more important matters, such as being careful on the streets in America now that the cops have taken to killing or severely beating up citizens on a whim and getting away with it.

  • B-Rob

Let me get this straight . . . Hillary WON Indiana . . . and you want to investigate for voter fraud . . . when Gary did NOT put Obama over the top . . . and he won that county only 55%-45% . . . you still want an investigation? OK . . . you people have truly lost it!

  • Dawnelle

    On to the CONVENTION!!

    I’m ready for a good fight!! ;-)

    oooRAH!!

  • requiemforadancer

No, you can’t put a stupid traitor in the presidency, period.

If Clinton were to do that, she would be as opportunistic as Kerry, say, and NOT a leader, she would be betraying the American people.

There is no such thing as political expediency for a politician, period.

Gore was unfairly excoriated by the press, and we got Bush.

Same crew is trying to game Clinton, and they have a BIG old mess on their hands, one they can’t begin to understand.

Along those same lines, Americans HAVE to learn to see through this, if this country is to survive and thrive, no one can do it for them, they have to WANT this country to remain the best, legislate against the Roves, and the Axlerods, throw them in jail for their corruption.

    So, here we are.

And all of this has to been done within the greater chaos of the world, but maybe what we learn here can be applied to the Obamas of other nations

This morning, I made the point that MI6 could eat Rove and Axelrod and their simple little pretension for lunch, and they probably are. Our country is hurting, the economy, the military, politically, and it s because Karl Rove, (or even Roger Stone), are not smart enough to game MI6.

So, what, they’re going to put an even bigger doofus in next?

Think MI6 has a vested interest in our government being run by morons?

    No?

    Then you’re ignorant.

I mean, some of Cheney’s people think the typical CIA agent is as obtuse as k**, can you believe it?

And we’re going to let the stupid analysts on Fox, and Chris Matthews determine American reality?

    For the military, too?

And if the leaders of this country think that’s OK, well, we can’t do it alone, the country falls.

Fortunately, there are OTHER leaders who get it.

  • B-Rob

And yet with all those negatives, more people still want HIM than HER. That could only mean two things:

    1) your list of Obama’s “sins” is b.s., or

    2) your list is accurate, but the voters would still rather have him than her!

  • ginamc

also think they deserve congratulations for their victory in Indiana, which is being overshadowed by the blowout in N.C.

LOL!!!!!!!! Blowout in N.C., WTF???!!! I have been a political consultant for over 20 years now, trust me — when a candidate is ahead by almost 30 points and wins by only 56% with the help of his ethnic buddies pulling out all the stops, inclusive of but not limited to — Electioneering in the wide-open — that, Jeff, is hardly a Blow-out. For future reference over the 75% mark is considered a blow-out. Get a clue.

  • B-Rob

As one college student noted on andrewsullivan.com

Hillz is now that person at the party who’s had 6 too many jello shots, is talking abnormally loudly and is incapable of understanding the fact that she has overstayed her welcome. And she’s starting to hiccup.

C’mon Hillz, let’s get your coat and we’ll walk with you to the door…”

  • Dawnelle

college students are mindless sex machines with the attention span of a fly

who gives a spit what they say? they will forget about it tomorrow

  • requiemforadancer

Not me, he’s a traitor, and I trust my judgement.

Why would I allow myself to take direction form someone whom I know to be making a catastrophic mistake?

    I wouldn’t.

Would you have trusted Bush, on Iraq, back in 2003, if you were a Republican?

You shouldn’t have, and neither should I.

Selling your country’s security out for 25, 000 or 500,000 dollars matters, it always did.

They were kinda stupid to think they could get away with it.

  • B-Rob

I agreed with them both, yet the media made it into a big race smear against the crackers from Arkansas.

When Bill and Hillary started comparing Hill to LBJ and Barack to Jesse friggin Jackson, both Black pundits, bloggers, and conservative loudmouths all said the same thing:

“What the hell is she doing?”

The cons, especially, did not see the strategy in needlessly antagonizing Black voters. That is THE BASE of the party. You can lose working class Whites (hell, the men don’t vote Dem anyway) and still won. Under no mathematical formula can the Dems get less than 80% of the Black vote and be in screaming distance of the presidency.

Certainly you can link to something that will prove any of this is accurate.

  • B-Rob

It’s just that kind of thinking that has you Hill-bots where you are today: on the outside looking in! Scoreboard!

  • requiemforadancer

Could you just fart it next time, it makes it more amusing, no talent.

I mean, all your trolls are the same, find a new angle.

But then, look whom I’m speaking with, a troll who couldn’t find a new angle even if he had a protractor shoved up his ass.

  • Dawnelle

no it’s being the mother of one, knowing all her friends and

also at one point being one myself and still retaining MY memory (luckily)

see that’s the problem with you youngsters………. all of your logic is narrowly based in only a few years of REAL cognitive thinking. You have a shallow pool to fish from……. it won’t get you very far and the ELITE that are pushing this have their OWN designs and it won’t end up benefiting you kids. Too bad you are all too “misty eyed” to see it. Ok SOME of you are more intuitive (most are voting for Hillary)

  • requiemforadancer

    Synovial fluid, but thanks.

“As one college student noted on andrewsullivan.com”

Real punishment for the Hill supporters at NQ wouldn’t be Hillary losing. It would be forcing them to read Andrew’s anti-Hillary screeds all day long. He’s the master of their disaster–ouch!

  • requiemforadancer

He’s a traitot, and the African American vote is as didactic, rote and lacking of critical thought as that of the republican troll.

Why do you think that is?

Please, impart more wisdom, loser, than tell us how to win Iraq, and defeat corrupt terrorism.

    Shithead.

  • B-Rob

You are showing almost TOTAL ignorance here:

They say he is a Harvard lawyer who has nver argued a single case.

I was once in an unfair labor practice hearing with an attorney (Harvard ’73). He was about 28 years into practice. I asked him a procedural question and you know what his answer was? “How the hell should I know. I’ve never done one of these before.” You can litigate your entire life and NEVER ARGUE AN APPEAL. That is, in many cases, a subspecialty. Just ask Chief Justice Roberts . . . who had about 50 oral arguments in the Supreme Court but never had a jury trial!

He is a professor who has never written a single article as a professor.

Most non-tenure track professors DON’T write articles. Why? Because they have JOBS!

He did not write his own Illinois legisaltion
he took credit for other people’s work

*yawn* Here in Ohio, they have a bipartisan committee that writes all the legislation. So, technically speaking, ALL of the Ohio legislators “take credit for other people’s work”.

he wrote 2 books filled with inaccuracies

    Says who?

nothing but a biography filled with himself that he repeats over and over again like there is no other evidence execept what he says about himself

    Still a best seller.

He trusts all the wrong people

    Still the nominee.

This man is an empty suit.

After your “experience” argument worked SO WELL so far!

    HA HA HA HA HA!

    Scoreboard!

  • requiemforadancer

We have to deal with a troll who is just as simplistic, what’s the difference?

  • ginamc

    On to the CONVENTION!!

Dawnelle, have you been to your State Convention yet? I’m a Texas Delegate going to the State Convention in a few weeks and on to the National. We are in fighting mode over here. How about your delegation?

  • so saddened

i think they just skipped all their math classes. and logic classes (if they ever took any).

  • requiemforadancer

Oh, yes, that is so true, and please, tool act on that assumption.

I’m also a gay basher: You faggot.

    heh.

    shove it.

  • Jeff

“For future reference over the 75% mark is considered a blow-out. Get a clue.”

I’m sorry, I take it back. You guys had a great night in North Carolina!

  • Dawnelle

I swear they MUST go to Troll Academy because last year we had a couple trolls at the dnc open thread that were just as persistent at being contrary to 98 percent of the rest of the bloggers.

One claimed to be a Libertarian at that time. But these guys sound and act identical. They MUST take courses and have ZERO lives. Otherwise why NOT go to their OWN blogs or to Republican blogs?

It makes zero sense if they are the average BO supporter they are NOT here. These are something all together different. (jmo)

  • requiemforadancer

I’m sorry Susan, he wanted to use this as an issue, to control, so you know, it’s a way to remove it as a weapon.

Men like Andrew Sullivan do not intimidate, neither do the threats to smear.

Obviously, the AA’s seem to be voting against their better interest with Obama, why?

And the only way to examine the issue is to tell the truth.

But this troll is an inferior , and that means you Jeff.

Now please, troll the racism, and go for the gay angle, too, let’s see what happens, what the real goal is.

And Jeff is to simple to understand.

  • ginamc

And yet with all those negatives, more people still want HIM than HER. That could only mean two things:

According to whose methodology of measurement? Are you referring to the Almighty Zogby/NBC poll that is the grandest piece of propaganda since Goebells works? Look… Barry is in it deep — 40% of Hillary’s peeps will NEVER, NEVER vote for him — they LOATHE him because he spawns losers like you who haven’t a clue what the Democratic Party is or what it’s all about. Seems to me in the final analysis, after BO wreaks his havoc and wrecks our Party — he’s gonna have to get down on his knees to all of US. Put that in your ObamaBong and smoke that for a while. Get down on his knees and kiss all of our collective behinds. Begging for votes — Blacks and the youth are not and will NOT get BO elected.

  • B-Rob

I first posed the question a few weeks ago. No one in this place EVER answered my question. And this is it:

Do you think Black voters, who give the Dem presidential candidate 90%+ of the vote year end and year out might have a little problem if a Black former community organizer/civil rights attorney/law professor turned US Senator of a major state runs a 50 state campaign, gets more delegates under the rules, more votes, wins more states and raises more money than his opponant, but the second place finisher opponant, who happened to be a former president’s wife, gets the nomination . . . ya think the Black voter base might be, shall we say, annoyed at the party?

Face facts, people. Obama won it fair and square. He now holds an insurmountable lead in delegates and votes ragardless what happens to MI and FL. Its over. Now its time to decide whether you are about the team (the Democratic team, from the presidency to the House and Senate) or whether yours is a cult of personality focusing on Hillary and nothing else.

  • beebop

Your premise that it was a 50 state campaign loses me.

come back when you can actually speak truth.

  • ginamc

Probably the Obamabot boards are too boring, not enough intellectual activity going on — just robotic people chanting the same mantra over and over again.

  • Jeff

“Obviously, the AA’s seem to be voting against their better interest with Obama, why?

And the only way to examine the issue is to tell the truth.”

When you label all African-Americans as “didactic, rote and lacking of critical thought”, you are a racist. This isn’t the first time with you. Almost every post you type has some form of racial smear included.

You’re a disgusting, bigoted worm who’s ruining the site. A lot of people come here with strong opinions. They’re Hillary supporters through and through and I respect them for that. What they aren’t is racist. They don’t stoop to your calculated, hateful generalizations designed to marginalize and divide along our country’s lamentable racial fault lines.

That’s what you do. Susan and Larry are better than you, and they should ban your ass permanently.

  • Dawnelle

    ginamc, hello,

I wish I was well enough to participate – all I can do is blog, call, but I’m there in spirit!

If she’s not giving up on us, I sure won’t give up on her.

  • Dawnelle

    tee hee (snicker)

    good one! ;-)

  • beebop

Why wasn’t it “racist garbage” when the people in Pennsylvania were accused of clinging to their guns and bibles and not voting for their interests because a black man named Barack Obama was telling them something?

Do you only see white racism?

Do you think that blacks aren’t capable of racism?

Did you LISTEN to Reverend Wright where Obama and Michelle have been his pupils for 20 years?

  • B-Rob

the African American vote is as didactic, rote and lacking of critical thought as that of the republican troll.

Funny . . . I don’t recall Bill Clinton complaining about that . . . how did you so eloquently put it . . . “didactic, rote and lacking of critical thought” Black vote when it was supporting HIS lying ass AT 90%+ LEVELS! But give the SAME support to a Black man, and the entitlement minded Clintons true bigotyr comes right to the fore!

But it is a good thing for Black voters to know what some Dems really think of them. So when Hillary tries to run again in 2016 (she’ll only be 68 . . . and 68 is the new 58), I am sure you will again remind the “didactic, rote and lacking of critical thought” Black voters what you think about them . . . so her racist flabby ass can LOSE AGAIN!

  • mimi

NO! I don’t want to give up my Senator.

  • beebop

To be honest, our newspapers never report random police killing or beating of innocent people … where do you live?

  • Jeff

This is between requiem and I. Please back off.

  • beebop

Sorry. No its not. You are not the moral arbitrator here. You don’t decide who is what here. You’re lucky to post here. You’re a guest here as we all are. You don’t tell me or anyone else what to do, do you understand?

  • B-Rob

No, I’m talking about the people who go into the voting booths and VOTE. They rejected your candidate and chose my candidate . . . millions and millions of times! It really doesn’t matter whether Hill-bots irrationally “loathe” a person they have never met; the rest of the country simply does not feel that way.

  • mimi

You have to stopp watching. I know people need info, but you have to find alternative ways and watch them sparingly. Tank their advertising revenue. I haven’t had the tv on all day.

Also, I will not return even when they begin theri full frontal assault on Obama for the GE. I’m prepared to let network news die. They can put on antoher gossip show or quiz program.

We need real journalists again. People who will follow up on stories, on leads. Not these corporate shills.

  • yikes

Did you all even listen to Hillary’s speech last night? Did you not hear her talk about how bad John McCain would be for this country? Did you not hear her say that she would be supporting the Democrat no matter what?

I do not understand what it is that you all are trying to accomplish. It’s pretty pathetic to see this kind of behavior from people who call themselves Democrats. This is not a pro-Hillary site, you spend all of your time bashing Obama. This is a pro-Republican, all out pro-McCain site. Interesting since you used to be against the war several months ago.

  • Shainzona

    NO!

  • Emily Pickett

I emailed the reporter. At the end of my ‘why I want Hillary and will never vote for Obama’ rant i said this -

    Hillary is NOT racist.
    Hillary is NOT racist.
    Hillary is NOT racist.
Oh .. and did I mention that Hillary is NOT racist?

  • John

Yeah because the first thing I was going to do when gas prices dropped was find a way for my car to burn more gas than it already does. And I was going to take longer trips.

I’m so sick of this obnoxious talking point. Do you even realize that it’s an argument for increasing gas prices because that would in theory LOWER consumption and HELP the environment? If so, are you disgusted that your candidate isn’t proposing RAISING the gas tax?

“Lowering prices is bad for the environment” is the ultimate elitist “I dont give a shit about your problems” argument. Very few people are WASTING gas, you shmuck-= we drive because we HAVE to.

Please, explain your economic theory to a trucker struggling to get by someday. But call for an ambulance first.

  • Jeff

    Amen.

  • Jeff

I’m telling you that I don’t equate you with requiem. My problem is with requiem. Requiem is an unapologetic racist, and I am calling them on it. Please leave this 2-way conversation.

  • John

Haven’t you heard? Sick of seeing Hillary jump through hoops and beat expectations set in advance, the Obamabots in the media have now begun to set expectations AFTER the contest has taken place. Makes it easier to ensure she doesn’t make them that way.

So, “Hillary really needed to win both North Carolina and Indiana” is the new talking point. Oh, she didn’t do it? She lost, then.

  • beebop

What part of that seems different or unfair ??? /snark/

  • John

Those rules only apply to Hillary, haven’t you noticed? She’s the one who can’t possibly win by enough. ANY win by Obama, on the other hand, is a BIG WIN.

  • mimi

“The bias, the sexism, the bullshit caucuses, the disenfranchisement of two major states, a nominee with the thinnest of resumes (and ties to crooks, terrorists and a nutcase preacher), the insulting of a former two-term president…..I mean it goes on and on and on.

To be clear: this is way beyond not voting for Barack Obama, who will have his ass handed to him in the GE, this is about how the Democratic party has done everything it can to PURGE me from their ranks.

Women over 45, Latinos, and the white working class are going to flee this party and never come back.

    raymo,

You get my award for the best post of the day. I urge people to read the whole thing for the full effect.

  • http://hyper-educated-uppity-woman.blogspot.com Uppity

    Nice job!

  • http://hyper-educated-uppity-woman.blogspot.com Uppity

No Jeff. I’ve seen in Corporate America too many times where the superior female gets to clean up behind the scenes for the mediocre man while he preens. But most of all, I would not vote for that ticket because it’s not just about Hillary to me, it’s about who is president. I cannot vote for Barack Obama.

  • Talktruth

That is fantastic, Milly. You really hit every point with a resounding “BAM”!

  • mimi

Actually, to pick up on raymo’s thoughts, I wish the Democratic Party had just written me a letter saying they no longer neede my participation. That way, I could have looked at ALL the choices available.

  • http://hyper-educated-uppity-woman.blogspot.com Uppity

    Wow. Perfectly put.

  • mimi

At first I was going to really light you up about that comment. But I’ll be straight with you and tell you what it’s about:

    1968, 1972, 1980, 1984, 1988, 2000, 2004, 2008.

    It’s about the Party, pal!

    WIN WITHOUT ME!

If I say this one more time, I am going to begin to wonder why I have to. It’s not just about wanting Hillary to be the nomination. It’s about NOT wanting Obama. Now if we were talking John Edwards, well I would accept it. I do not like Barack Obama. I think he is a sexist pig. I relate to that. I also think he has some very unacceptable ties to the middle east, and then there’s the Chicago Way. I am insulted by this empty suit with the resume the size of a postage stamp whill still hasn’t told me beyond the first level what his intentions are for me or my country, other than to Chant the word Change. He moves me not. Instead, he makes the hair on the back of my head stand up whenver I see or hear him.

  • ChrisXP

Oh, please. If you can’t defeat Obama using the facts on hand, you certainly won’t be able to making up your own.

Ah, put down the bong, Jeffery, since that’s the facts. Obama’s friend Ayers is a domestic terrorist; and Obama’s voting record is the most liberal in the senate (even more so than his buddy, Ted Kennedy).

Now go back lying to yourself.

  • Talktruth

hateful, slanderous, bigoted lies about the presumptive Democratic nominee

First, BO is not the presumptive Democratic nominee, other than in the minds of his deluded followers. Second, what you call lies are documented truth, and the reason he will never be president, and probably won’t make it much further, thank God. We don’t need another baby like Bush in the White House.

  • mimi

Oh shit, here it comes. Get ready for the spankings by these arrogant shits. They really don’t think they need my vote.

    Fine!

BTW, I’m no longer a Democrat. So there goes the basis for that argument.

    WIN WITHOUT ME!

And when you do, you’ll get my congrats.

So all of you run along to the Obama sites for your ego massages. And do what you all do best: Lie to each other.

  • yikes

    I emailed her and said:

I understand that you are writing an article on Democrats who will not
vote for either Obama or Clinton in the general election. I hope that
you are cautious in believing everything that people tell you. There
are many folks who believe that Republican operatives have infested
Democratic blogs in order to incite anger and division (kind of like
Limbaugh’s operation chaos). When I listen to the Republican pundits
on cable news it is very clear to me that they are hoping to widen any
divisions that exist in the Democratic party as they frequently
mention that the supporters of one candidate will never vote for the
other candidate. Although there are definitely people out there who
are very angry at the other candidate right now, these feelings will
subside as the election continues. In 2004 I swore I wouldn’t vote
for John Kerry after my candidate lost, but by election day I was
happy to vote against Bush. Frustration, anger, and sadness are
normal feelings for supporters after their candidate loses, these
feelings will subside by November and I am confident that we will all
work together to stop John McCain.

  • B-Rob

It’s simple: one candidate set up shop in every state in play, regardless of whether it was a “Red State” or in “flyover country”, caucuses or primaries; those grass roots are there for the harvesting in November in places that NEVER get presidential attention, like Kansas, Montana, Mississippi and North Dakota. You expand the territory that the GOP has to fight and make them fight for their ownbase states.

The other candidate, Hill, did not expect the coronation to last past Super Tuesday and planned accordingly. When her ill fated plan didn’t work out, THEN she had to scramble and try to seat two states that broke the rules and got no delegates. We see how well THAT all worked out.

  • so saddened

ah, the obamabot has his dreams. enjoy them, lie back, close your eyes, and see the world you want to see.

then wake up to reality in november.

  • B-Rob

You are right. This long ago ceased being a pro-Hillary site. It is now an anti-Obama and, therefore, pro-McCain site.

  • Kathryn

    Jeff

I started out quite up for the idea of a Clinton/Obama ticket however my feelings have changed. I do not think he should even be asked to be VP nor do I believe he is fit to be a Senator. His voting “present” far more than anything else, his lying and cheating in caucuses and legally blocking FL and MI from a revote and his horrible judgement and character in his choice of a racist church and terrorists and indicted shady people being the ones who launched his career and also personal friends all add up to “unfit for office” to me. His arrogance, ducking the debate and out and out lying are disgusting.
And I can not stand his offensive wife. She does not know how good she has had it nor does she know when to SHUT UP.

  • beebop

So the trolls have done their job? In the weeks you have been coming here, we went from (in your words), pro Clinton to anti Obama. Doesn’t say much for your arguments on behalf of The One, does it?

I guess he was wrong, you don’t love Barry the more you get to know him.

    Question:

How does Obama in 2008 differ from George W. Bush in 2000?

    Answer:

George W. Bush had more experience in government. And that wasn’t all THAT much.

So explain agin how The One will perform should he attain the White House.

thanks so much for your great post up there, you said how I feel so well! T

Donna Brazile on MSNBC last night was just disgusting to me. She can take her “New Democratic Party” and her bias and poor leadership and shove it.

  • http://insightanalytical.wordpress.com/ Gloria
  • flyarm

did you even listen to Donna Brazile last night Yikes..i sure did and it is the dem party and people like donna who have told many of us in the dem party..they no longer need us or want us..so fine..they want you youngun’s..let em have you..but you better pony up some bucks for H Dean as he didn’t even have enough money from you “new dems” to put rhe down paymwnt down for the convention..

and he nor the dems not DNc will ever see another penny from me..in fact i just got off the Phone with the DCCC and told them just that and i also told the DNC that today and Pelosi”s office and Harry reids office the same thing..let them do it without the Old money..and let you young kids put your money where your ipods are..

because never ever again will i give my time or $$$$$$$$$ to the dem party with those who are running it to the ground today!

Oh and by the way i was a elected Dem Delegate for my state in 2004..and i don’t fit Donna Brazile’s bullshit profile..i am rich..i am educated , i am a lifelong Professional..

i was a public speaker for candidates in the Dem party..and i gave big big big bucks to the dem party!

I will be re-registering very soon as an indy ..and the dem party will never get another days work from me or another penny ..because they have cheated this election and the voters of this once proud party..

now i turn this party over to you newbies..have fun..but get your damn checkbooks out..you have alot of people to make up for!

Thanks for the number Gloria. I feel for the people answering the phones, it probably never stops ringing.
I am calling them first thing tomorrow, thanks. I donated again, I hope lots of people are.

Won’t the Credentials Committee consider that he is a National Security risk or am I still dreaming of rational leadership? Doesn’t befriending someone like Ayers or Dohrn make you ineligible for top security clearance? Anyone know?

would that be very republican andrew sullivan who was one of the biggest cheerleaders for this war and sooooooooooo anti dem????????

    that Andrew Sullivan????????????

oh yeah i thought so..he belongs in the hall of Cafferty..you know cafferty on CNN who was also one of the biggest war cheerleaders..

i know you missed that ..you were probably in pre-school then right???????

  • flyarm

wow did your parents give you permission to be on the internet???????????

good thing i am not raising you!!..you would be in time out for a good long time!!

  • yikes

I don’t give a rat’s ass about Donna Brazile. I did donate to the DNC, they used my money to air the anti-McCain ad, and his poll numbers went down after they aired it. It was money very well spent in my opinion.

If you want to be an independent that is certainly your choice. It makes a heckuva lot more sense than calling yourself a Democrat and supporting John McCain.

Thanks for calling me a “kid,” what a compliment!

  • beebop

John McCain will do very well. There isn’t enough money coming in to the Democratic coffers. The Clinton money will stay out. The “little people?” hahahahahaha. If you believed that story then you think that Virginia is going to vote Democratic in November. AIN’T GOING TO HAPPEN.

  • http://hyper-educated-uppity-woman.blogspot.com Uppity

Hillary doesn’t tell me who to vote for. Nobody tells me who to vote for. Nobody told me to vote for her either. I vote for who I want to vote for. I help who I want to help. I would vote for a cockroach before I would vote for Barack Obama. Live with it.

Got that right. Live with it.

    And win without us.

  • Jeff

“’Lowering prices is bad for the environment’ is the ultimate elitist ‘I dont give a shit about your problems’ argument. Very few people are WASTING gas, you shmuck-= we drive because we HAVE to.”

As if I ever said “lowering prices is bad for the environment”, “I don’t give a shit about your problems”, or that anyone was “wasting gas”. I love how you assign to me arguments I did not make, and then attack me for them. Being that’s how you’ve dealt with the candidacy of Barack Obama, I guess I should not be surprised.

  • http://hyper-educated-uppity-woman.blogspot.com Uppity

Because more than that said Yes to her, only your pussy candidate blocked their revotes. And don’t deny it. I don’t want to waste my time proving it again to the likes of you.

I also wonder how many of those voters would love another chance to vote now that they know your candidate better. But not to worry, they will always have November. Me too.

I sent a letter to Krissah Williams of the Washington Post. I was given an email address that didn’t work earlier, so came upon the proper address here.

    Thanks.

Actually I liked Hillary’s speech last night. I came by to see if anyone here had something nice to say about it. I should have known better.

“do what you all do best: Lie to each other.”

Um, before you throw that one out you might want to take an honest look at the hate and dishonesty flying around here.

No one is trying to win without you Mimi, but if you don’t want to be a Democrat anymore that’s fine. At least it’s more honest than remaining a Democrat and voting for McCain.

  • yikes

Last time I checked Obama had plenty of money. Also, in spite of the Clinton followers who are supposedly saying that they won’t vote for Obama he is ahead of McCain in the polls.

  • http://OTliesvideo Lyn

I just got off the phone with Scott. I told him as a Typical white person” as Obama likes to call us, I heard Donna Brazile loud and clear last night when she said she didn’t need MY blue collar workers vote, and My husband heard as well, so since we don’t stay where we are not wanted, IF Obama gets the Nom, I will vote for McCain and will be sure to tell all my friends in Nj that Donna said you don’t need us. Good luck with winning without the Blue collar workers, then we talked about Fla and Mi, and I brought up the fact that if they think people who voted for Obama early on when the DNC was still doing a good job hiding the fact he goes to a racist church and hangs around with terrorist will vote for him in Nov, they really must have something good in their koolaid.
I also mentioned It was nice for McGovern to give advice on winning since he did such a good job getting one or 2 states to vote for HIm, and now that I think of it how come all the loosers, like Kerry, Kennedy ect are on BO’s side.
After he said he would pass on the messages to Mr Dean, I suggested he also pass on the advice that everytime Donna “I’m uncommitted” Brazile opens her mouth it makes people more determined to vote against the Dems so they crash and get new leadership

  • Susan

Well here are plenty of reasons I won’t vote Obama.

AND DID I SAY THAT OBAMA IS STRIPED OF HIS DELEGATES IN FLORIDA AND MICHIGON,WHY? WELL RULES ARE THAT NO ADS OR RADIO BEFORE A CERTAIN DATE.AND IF THEY DO THE RULES ARE TO STRIP THEIR DELEGATES.SO OBAMA HAS -O- THERE.AND MICHIGON,HIS NAME WAS ON THE BALLOT,BUT IT WAS HIS CHOICE TO TAKE IT OFF.

  • John

That’s an hysterical post, even for you- you agree with all the criticism of Obama, but say none of it matters. Gee, what a great candidate you’ve got there, B-Tarded.

“Says Who?” “Still the Nominee?” Jesus, why don’t you just post “My fingers are in my ears and I’m not listening lalalalala..”

No one here is trying to convince you of anything, B-Tard. Except, maybe, to leave and not come back until you have something intelligent to post.

Oh and by the way, there’s nothing funnier than a drooling idiot troll congratulating himself on his weak posts. Pathetic.

  • Pierre Trudeau

Are you saying that there is not hate here? They have a rec’d post asking people to help out in Burma…..but yes there is hate there but this site is full — absolutely full — of hatred.

ALL of you are deluded and extreme.

  • justsomeone

I voted for Sen. Obama in the primary, however I can’t support him in the general election. Bottom line: I can’t afford him. Once I heard his proposal for 24% cap gains tax, that was my wake up moment. Then, without an explaination, he jumped it to 28%. I heard him in an interview with a financial talking head, who made the standard point that the higher the tax on cap gains the less the revenue stream…Obama didn’t try to refute the concept, basically just said, “It’s just a matter of fairness.” So it’s not about revenue, paying down the 9.2 trillion dollar compounding debt, it’s about going punative to obtain a more egalitarian society. I can’t figure out what % of divs & interest he wants to extract but I’m sure it’s more than I want to pay. Dispite my best efforts not to get snookered by the guilt by assoc game, Wright, Dorn & Ayers became an additional mega turn off.

  • yikes

I may not have liked any of the choices he made, but he was pretty darned effective at getting his agenda passed. It wasn’t a lack of experience that made him a terrible experience, it was the fact that he worked towards very evil ends. McCain will be more of the same.

  • yikes

    Terrible president that is.

  • beebop

Considering that John Kerry offered the Vice President spot to John McCain, I’m not all that worried about him. I mean, Kerry’s supporting Barky, right? So how different are the two of them? hahahahahaha

I think I’ll just take my chances with experience, if you don’t mind.

  • http://OTliesvideo Lyn

More Dems voted for Hillary than Obama, The rest of your post I just ignore and will be even happier to vote for McCain, IF Hillary is not our Nom. McCain isn’t a racist who hangs around with terrorist like YOUR candidate.

  • ChrisXP

I finally turned off the television….I couldn’t take it anymore.. Where are these people getting their info from.

    Mars? lol

Seriously, I’ve been tuning out the news and doing other things more worthwhile. The MSM wants Obama because it plays into their viewing demographics (oh, what an embarassment it’ll be if there’s a riot in Atlanta if Obama isn’t the nominee, and the Black mob that usually hangs around the Underground, moves over to trash the CNN headquarters worse than a tornado!). If they can promote racial strife even more, the more they can “report” about “problems” (just like how their playing out the cop beating in PA, complete with the “Black in America” tie-in this morning). Gives themselves justification for existing, when more and more folks are getting their news online — which is out of their control (and remain out of their control since the internet will NEVER be tamed by their ADL; ACLU and other corporate stranglers).

So tuning out the slamfest is actually a refreshing, as folks come back rested and not brainwashed by the MSM’s so-called “experts” (ah, when did Pelosi’s daughter become some talking head about super-delegates anyway????).

    Pfffft!

  • Phil

Speaking as a lifelong moderate liberal Democrat: If Obama gets the nod I will NOT – under ANY circumstances – vote for him. Why?

    1) Obama has been manufactured by the mainstream media. Since day 1, Hillary Clinton – the implied favorite – has been savaged by the press, from the entire spectrum of political preference. I’ve never seen anything like it, in 25 years of following politics.

    2) Obama LET the press inject race into this campaign, and didn’t say a PEEP about it until he was forced to, when dealing with his 20 year affiliation with a racist demagogue. For instance, during the SC debates, Obama was asked what he thought of Bill Clinton being called the “first Black president of the US”. Obama’s response was some light chatter, followed by saying “I don’t know if Bill is a brother, because i haven’t seen him dance”. Those words were playfully uttered in front of a Black audience, with Hillary Clinton present. What if hillary had said that?

Obama has played the race card, and he has also let press accusations that the Clintons have injected race. That he would let the press savage two politicians whho have fought for civil rights their entire careers, speaks volumes about Mr. Obama’s values.

    3) Mr Obama’s advisory cor – many of them – hold policy positions to the RIGHT of Ms. Clinton. This has not been reported. Why? He’s to the right of Hillary on health care, the environment, and a few other crucial areas.

    4) Obama HAS engaged in the most egregious negative campaign tactics. He has engaged those tactics without provocation. Hillary has also engaged in negative attacks, and I don’t blame her one bit for that because Obama has let the press do his attacking for him.

    5) The MSM’s sexism – rampant in this primary, and not challenged by Obama – has revealed a disgusting undercurrent of ignorance, and hubris. So-called commentators, like Russert, Stephanapoulis, and a few others are simply pathetic and moronic – not only in their presentation, but in the ignorant hubris they project. I’m a pretty mainstrem person, and I must say that the two I’ve mentioned elicit the coming sensation of projectile vomiting, every time I see their pasty faces. I turn the channel as soon as i can when they appear; they’re really unbearable. That they shill for Obama makes me more determined not to vote for him.

    6) Obama has not won a SINGL:E significant Democratic State, save Illinois (his home state). He has lost the big states to moderate liberal. Mr. McCain is perceived as a social moderate – do the math. Obama will NOT win states like OH, FL, and probably a few other key swing states.

    7) The Obama craze has fueled an unrealistic assessment of Mr. McCain among Obama supporters, and the press. Mr. McCain scores higher with Latinos, seniors, working-class, and other demographics. He will beat Mr. Obama in a general election. Even California may be nin play for Mr. McCain, because the mass of voters are located in S CA, and the Central Valley – all that is a Latino and conservative Independent stronghold. California’s Governor is popular, and will support McCain with everything he’s got.

    8) The sickening specter of progressive Left politicians savaging Hillary Clinton is something I thought I would never witness. Bill CLinton took away GOP and progressive Left Democrat talking points; he balanced the budget, and accomplished a fairly substantial liberal agenda without promising “hopes and dreams”. Thus, the mounting fear in the political establishment re: Hillary.

    9) Hillary Clinton has FAR more practical experience than Obama. The world is a dangerous place; we have no room for amateurs in government. Mr. Obama has no record to speak of, only what he has promised in speeches.

    10) Mr. Obama has taken many large campaign contributions, and has high placed people in his campaign from places like nuclear power companies that he helped de-regulate. Hillary Clinton has some of those, too. However, Mr. Obama hides this – helped by his fawning press – from his base.

    11) Hillary Clinton is a fighter; she’s far more intelligent and ADAPTABLE than Mr. Obama. Mr. Obama already hints of impatience, and boredom. “Let me finish my waffle”, says Mr. Obama. “the fight will go on” says Ms. Clinton. Who would you want for your President.

Again, I will not – even at Hillary’s beckoning, if Obama gets the nod – pull a lever for oMr. Obama. I will sit this one out, or write someone in. I have spoken to 3-4 dozen people about this race in the last month. Most of them share my moderate liberal stance. 80% would say – and do day – the same thing.

Obama’s people should be sure about one thing. America is a centrist nation, and there is a need to pull toward the center. Hillary’s supporters want solutions, not “hopes and dreams”.

Mr. Obama, if he gets the nod (and i still think he won’t, because I can’t believe that Superdelegates can honestly think Obama will turn the lunch-bucket crowd, seniors and moderates around in the key swing states like OH, FL, (possibly PA) and a few others) – if he gets the nod, will NOT see Clinton supporters rolling over to him.

Obama has proved to be ‘just another politician” who has pulled in so-called urban intellectuals (of which i am one) and youth (most who were in diapers during the Clinton years). We have had a chance to see through his manipulations, as well as the pure progressive-left bias of key liberal papers (I will never trust the NYT again, on domestic political issues).

IN a word, I – and many of my associates – simply *do not feel comfortable* with Mr. Obama at a gut level. He’s too slick, and too aloof, and doesn’t speak to us in a way that resonates.

I know that’s not true for his many supporters, but the general election is not upon us; I’m sure we’re going to hear from GOP voters on Mr. Obama, MINUS the support of all of us Hillary supporters who have been taken for granted by the press, by the progressive left, and by Mr. Obama himself, who has let a fine liberal Democrat be slandered, called a racist, and made subject to attacks that he profited from, as Mr. Obama has let his henchpeople (sic) do his dirty work for him.

No, I will NEVER pull a voting lever for Mr. Obama. And, in a very real way, I don’t think I’ll have that choice, because Hillary Clinton’s heart is – I feel – going to have a surprising impact on America during the final stages of this race. And, her sound logic about the impossibility of Obama beating a social moderate in key swing states will be seen as a compelling logical argument to award her the nomination.

    Very Best Regards,
    Phil

  • Patrick Henry

Very Well said phil..As a moderate and Patriotic Amrican I totally agree with what you just wrote..

  • kat in your hat

Ok…here are a few (not ALL!) reasons why I will not vote for Obama if he got dem nom:

__Insane mainstream media PASS for Obama. Obama favoritism and Hillary attacks in MSM

__Obama is unelectable in the general election: Obama wins mainly red republican states by CAUCUS, and Hillary has won almost all of the major blue democrat states needed to win in the general, even though she’s been massively outspent and the media has been OUT OF CONTROL in love with Obama. Obama is also far too liberal–most liberal in US Senate, more than Ted Kennedy?? How the HECK could he possibly win in the general, in America? Useless candidate for dems.

__Obama lacks experience: What, about a year as US Senator? Voting present most of the time (for “safe” reasons since he knew he would run for President).

__Poor Record: He didn’t change anything in Chicago, how can he change the USA?? He bill-jacked Rickey Hendon’s video confession bill, and Obama also took credit for the Altgeld garden asbestos issue, another community activist did the hard work. He was neck deep in Rezko corruption as well–you know that whole story.

__Obama is 95% UNVETTED. No one knows who Obama really is. The internet is SCREAMING about all of Obama’s affiliations and associates that are jaw-dropping–utterly shocking, and no one investigates it in MSM, and no one reports on it in MSM, not even to debunk it. Which is a good reason to think it will explode in the general.

__Obama camp played race card: The media helped Obama camp play race card on Bill and Hillary. Obama camp knew that blacks liked Bill and they set out to DESTROY that trust in him. They made Bill Clinton…..BILL CLINTON into some kind of racist? Unforgivable. There was a race playbook–memos, and over four pages of Axelrod, et al, pushing the race story hard.

__Obama is a pathological liar. He lies about his entire background. He lies about Selma, he lies about Pac money and lobbyists, and his church, and Rezko, and Nadhmi Auchi, his position on the second amendment and on and on and on. SO MANY LIES!!! It’s almost fascinating how much he lies.

__Obama and his Axelrod are running a negative campaign–the sneakiest most devious campaign. They LIE and say Hillary is running a negative campaign…? They lie in campaign literature, and even run ads with a voiceover outright saying horrible things about Hillary, but not even with citation! No quote. They pull race card stuff, and they hold press conferences with the aim to hurt her (calling in military folks to say that Hillary is not good enough to even put a wreath on a grave.) They pushed the sniper story to exhaustion. Obama and his camp have attacked Hillary’s CHARACTER the entire time: She’ll do ANYTHING to win, and she’s devious, secretive, and deceptive, and a liar…these words straight out of their camp–from Axelrod and others.

__ Florida and Michigan not being counted. We have 50 states, not 48!!!!!! Obama had ads running in Florida, btw.

__Howard Dean and DNC is corrupt. I know Howard Dean doesn’t like Hillary, and I know that he appointed something like 20 people, hand-picked to be on the rules committee, or so I have heard, but it’s clear that they are in the tank for Obama. I cannot express how much Howard Dean, Pelosi, Kerry, Kennedy, et al, have infuriated me, and if Hillary lost dem nom, I would be independent that very same day–screw even being a registered DEMOCRAT anymore–for LIFE!

__Superdelegates IGNORING their state that voted for Hillary: Again, we can thank people like Bill Richardson for this. This is another part that I hate about democratic party now: Votes not only don’t matter, but supers also have the power to go against the PEOPLE. So what is the point of voting? Black inner city areas get more delegates just for the heck of it, too? HA. It’s wrong. Plus, a CAUCUS? 10 freakin people show up at a caucus and it has the power to override thousands of individual votes? WTF.

__The democratic party changed and is now too far left wing radical and polarizing. Moderate and conservative democrats no longer fit into Howrad Dean’s DNC and they feel unwelcome.

__Obama and his wife are racist. Sorry, but based on what they have said, published (Michelle’s racist thesis, and Obama’s books), and their 20 years with Pastor Wright, plus all the other “friends” and affiliations and associates. OH, and all of Obama’s followers calling anyone who does not vote for Obama a racist?? Ya, this thing has become racial, Obama lied when he said he was bringing people together, well, maybe not. Maybe he just meant black people and fringe liberal democrats. I think Barack and Michelle hate white people. I’m white, so why on EARTH would I vote for that??

__Obama hates the USA and he is not patriotic. The list is far too long. The flag pin issue is the LEAST unpatriotic thing I know about him.

__Obama is a FRAUD. Obama is the pied piper and Messiah? He came out of the blue, and he speaks in huge sweeping vague ways, and he is simply a product, like NIKE: Just do it. —-Obama: Yes We Can. See? Sold ya. I didn’t like his cult of personality following, or the mega church rallies, or all the people looking psychotic at his church rallies. The whole thing looked like a copycat of Hitler’s Youth Movement. NO THANKS!

__Obama Camp cheats to win. Texas Caucus Frauds–probably something dirty in every state. Now look at Gary Indiana “Chicago land” YUCK.

    —And SO much more.

    I’ll NEVER vote for Obama.

  • http://www.joeylee.com Joey Lee

I am 42 years old and disabled. I have been actively involved n this year’s Presidential Campaign for the very first time ever. I h always been a Clinton Supporter, however from the very beginning I noticed the amount of media pundits that had some sort of an issue with the Former First Lady. At first I thought I was exaggerating, then it became even more clear, they decided who the nominee was well before any of the several other candidates withdrew their candidacy. I also supported John Edwards, but watched as the MSM simply discounted him as if he were invisible, as they have tried to do with Senator Clinton. Having seen this continue for almost a year now, I am more determined than ever and more assured that there is only one Democratic Candidate left that is in any way, ready, TO BE President, and that IS Senator Clinton. I have no racial prejudices, nor did I have any problems with Senator Obama until, that is, I began to research his past.
His relationship with his so-called Pastor/Uncle is big enough, but as I looked deeper, his ties to Ayers amazed me as it has still gone virtually ignored. Then, I noticed another connection even worse than Ayers, that being El-Hady, a known Hamas Terrorist who has raised money for the Obama Campaign as well as creating a “Pakistan/Hamas for Obama”, a Support Group unlike any other I have ever seen. Yet, once gain, this has gone unmentioned by the media. I do not have 100% proof that the ties are stronger than I have learned them to be, but the absolute “dismissal” by the MSM to even look into it bothers me more so. The “Republican Machines” have all of this information and if anyone thinks they are sitting on it for no reason, they’re fooling themselves. They are waiting for Senator Obama to be named the Nominee and then, we’ll see, the information will begin to pour out to everyone, like “shock and awe”, but not to those of us that have researched Mr. Obama, we have looked into Senator Obama’s past. It’s all out there in the open, just Google “El-Hady & Obama”, “Ayers & Obama”, and watch and read the thousands of links they lead to.
Because of these reasons, as well as the extreme lack of experience that Senator Obama has that I cannot in any way see myself voting for his man to lead our Nation. Especially under the current circumstances, while our Country is at war. If forced, I will vote for John McCain, a third term of G.W. Bush rather than stay with this party if Senator Clinton is denied the nomination.
    Thank You for Your Time,
    Joey Lee, Scranton, PA.

If Barak Obama had shown any positive ACTIONS versus Rhetoric, supporting him might be an option. All we’ve ever heard from him is copies of what John or Hillary said.

He has not provided any formal substantial plans. He has no positive accomplishments that have seen openly listed. All we’ve seen is arrogance, corruption and stuttering and stammering. His ownership in large pieces of myspace for #200 million tells me that’s where he’s gotten so many young people. Myspace…another predator! UGH!

Really folks, this man has yet to PROVE he is for the country rather than himself. I cannot believe there are so many sheep letting the MSM and DNC dictate who the next candidate will be rather than the voters. There was corruption because a few weeks ago someone said they’re are thins in the works behind the scenes to have a nominee wrapped up before June. What does that tell you? Corruption!

He has lied about being the only candidate to not take corporate money.

No I will not vote for the sexist democratic version of GWB! EVER. Life long liberal dem and I am about to leave this party if Obama is our nominee and I’m not alone. We have been seriously underestimated. Obama’s use of “99 problems” as his “victory” song in Iowa was the beginning of the end for me. I cannot sit still and vote for a man as full of b.s. as he is. I won’t “unite” with someone who sat silent for the way sexism was used to his benefit in the media. What KIND of “change” is that? None. I will sit on my hands in the fall and so will many, many others.
