This one’s for you, Lonnie Loach

Comment by Lonnie Loach | 2008-05-08 15:06:45 |

SHE LOST ALREADY! Way back in February, no doubt! Are you all really that delusional? Get over it and move on!

And Larry, what the hell happen to your site man? This used to be a credible place to visit. I used to recommend your site to people, now it’s just another whiny little bitch blog. Sad really…

People like you cave in to whatever the MSM tells you, Lonnie Loach, you misogynist for using the word -itch. You haven’t the independent thinking and drive to refuse to be a media sheep. Baa-baa-baah … Take your know-it-all cynicism and your Timmy Russert/Keith Olbermann/MSNBO tripe elsewhere. The rest of us here are FIGHTERS, just like our candidate.

WE KEEP FIGHTING FOR HILLARY, BECAUSE SHE KEEPS FIGHTING FOR US!

KEEP FIGHTING FOR HILLARY, BECAUSE SHE KEEPS FIGHTING FOR US!

FIGHTER
Christina Aguilera

After all you put me through
You’d think I’d despise you
But in the end I want to thank you
Because you made me that much stronger

When I, thought I knew you
Thinking, that you were true
I guess I, I couldn’t trust
Called your bluff, time is up
‘Cause I’ve had enough
You were, there by my side
Always, down for the ride
But your, joy ride just came down in flames
‘Cause your greed sold me out in shame, mmhmm

After all of the stealing and cheating
You probably think that I hold resentment for you
But, uh uh, oh no, you’re wrong
‘Cause if it wasn’t for all that you tried to do
I wouldn’t know just how capable I am to pull through
So I wanna say thank you

‘Cause it makes me that much stronger
Makes me work a little bit harder
It makes me that much wiser
So thanks for making me a fighter
Made me learn a little bit faster
Made my skin a little bit thicker
Makes me that much smarter
So thanks for making me a fighter

Ohh, ohh, ohh, ohhhh, ohh-yeah ah uhhhuh

Never, saw it coming
All of, your backstabbing
Just so, you could cash in
On a good thing before I realized your game
I heard, you’re going around
Playing the victim now
But don’t, even begin
Feeling I’m the one to blame
‘Cause you dug your own grave

After all of the fights and the lies
Yes you wanted to harm me but that won’t work anymore
Uh, no more, oh no, it’s over
‘Cause if it wasn’t for all of your torture
I wouldn’t know how to be this way now, and never back down
So I wanna say thank you

‘Cause it makes me that much stronger
Makes me work a little bit harder
Makes me that much wiser
So thanks for making me a fighter
Made me learn a little bit faster
Made my skin a little bit thicker
It makes me that much smarter
So thanks for making me a fighter

How could this man I thought I knew
Turn out to be unjust so cruel
Could only see the good in you
Pretended not to see the truth
You tried to hide your lies, disguise yourself
Through living in denial
But in the end you’ll see
YOU-WON’T-STOP-ME

I am a fighter and I
I ain’t gonna stop
There is no turning back
I’ve had enough

‘Cause it makes me that much stronger
Makes me work a little bit harder
Makes me that much wiser
So thanks for making me a fighter
Made me learn a little bit faster
Made my skin a little bit thicker
It makes me that much smarter
So thanks for making me a fighter

Thought I would forget,
Though I, I remember,
I remember,
I remember

‘Cause it makes me that much stronger
Makes me work a little bit harder
Makes me that much wiser
So thanks for making me a fighter
Made me learn a little bit faster
Made my skin a little bit thicker
It makes me that much smarter
So thanks for making me a fighter

Good quick response! You showed that lone commenter on this blog who’s boss!

Can we go back to talking about Hillary’s inevitable victory, whether Obama is a closet Republican, a Marxist terrorist, or both, and other figments of our imagination now?

    • JKFriz

Sorry, I responded so quickly that I missed the fact that the entire post is the lyrics to Christina Aguilera’s “Fighter”. Words cannot describe how awesome this blog is. It’s like a work of outsider art.

      • requiemforadancer

Really, it is, but it’s not outsider, you know, I think it’s more mainstream than you realize.

Accurate perception is everything, through a tiny lens, you fail.

        • TeakwoodKite

But how else does one look at a solar eclpise.

HomeDiariesBreaking BlueE-Wire 2008CNN: Fire Brazile (or re-classify her)
by TexasDarlin, Thu May 08, 2008 at 04:47:59 PM EST

CNN regularly includes Donna Brazile, a superdelegate, on its “Election Center” panel. They officially refer to Brazile as a “CNN Contributor.” Paul Begala, James Carville and others, in contrast, are referred to by CNN as “CNN Contributor, Clinton Supporter.”

Why does CNN continue to pay Donna Brazile to sit on that panel, day after day, and pretend to be neutral when it’s apparent to a 10-year old that Brazile supports Barack Obama?

        It’s unethical, unprofessional, and infuriating.

I stopped watching CNN’s election coverage due to its anti-Hillary bias months ago but when I read about this segment, I had to take a look. Pay attention to the titles CNN puts up for Begala and for Brazile. And listen to Brazile explain, in response to Cambell Brown’s suggestion that Brazile is in-the-tank for Obama, how she is “not undecided” but “undeclared.” Does that mean, Donna, that you have decided who you prefer for President but you have not yet “declared” as a Superdelegate because you don’t want to lose your CNN paycheck?

    • Jeff

This blog is looking more and more like that video of Al Gore and Bon Jovi dancing around drunk together in December 2000, with Tipper in the background on drums.

Let it rip, folks! More pop song lyrics! And don’t leave out a single stanza!

      • requiemforadancer

And the problem with that is what?

        You don’t have fun?

Oh, yeah, I forgot, why you’re so sad, and always hanging out…

        • fooj

All work and no play makes Jeff a dull boy. Are you this serious when you’re off the clock? Are you being paid by the post? 6 or 9 cents? I hear the REALLY good Team Obama employees may be getting up to 20 cents a post. Gosh. I worry for you. How in heavens name will you pay for that next tank of gas?

    • Talktruth

Don’t you mean can we go back to giving you more attention than you’ve ever gotten in your life? Lonnie’s gonna know you’re jealous now…

Like braids in my hair and

Ten thousand tons of ice cream
And if I don’t get the things I am after
      I’m going to scream

      I want the works

Keep telling the truth, Susan, the more trolls you bring in the better you’re doing.

They don’t get it, smart people do, and you and Larry are among the best, no matter the attempts to smear. I am so surprised the trolls never stop to ask themselves if they’re being trolled, despite watching their organizations fall apart.

Took sixty years to end the cold war, but the US prevailed.

I find that destructive and stupid.
I’d support Hillary if she won – but she the road to victory is might thin. Even the super delegates – who we would assume know more about what is going on than anyone – are coming around to this fact. And, yes, there are taking into consideration MI and FL.
BTW the Michigan Democrats just proposed a deal to the campaigns that is a compromise for both. I don’t think Hillary will take it.

Other than that I have no idea why he’s here.

But I’d like to pass on this wonderful nugget from the TM comments just recently:

The ONLY reason I won’t support Obama is that he’s an illprepared, arrogant, pampered, insincere, inauthentic, preening, bullshitting glass-jawed, half baked, credit-taking, sleazy, if-he’s-talkin’-he’s-lying egomaniac, backstabbing ingrate with a racial chip on his shoulder the size of Montana. Or a dog taxi.

          Dog’s name was Kyle.

        • jwrjr

Even with all of those accurate criticisms, Obama must have some redeeming qualities … even if he hasn’t shown them to anybody.

    • requiemforadancer

I have to say you’re not seeing correctly perhaps that’s projection.

Rove, and Dean’s use of propaganda hurts the country hurts the voters, it’s spin, we agree.

      Truth? Yes.

      Obama is a criminal, period.

Obama is not qualified to be President.

      Truth?

      Yes.

So, Axelrod is spinning a negative, trying to prove a false assertion.

If you understand how to manipulate that, it drives the country and the party further into chaos, internally. The only ones who can stop it it is Dean, and he doesnt understand.

      You see?

      How is that helpful?

The fault is Dean’s for not reckoning with the truth, period.

And why would any one inidivudal want to contribuute to a system that lies, that HARMS our country.

Axelrod imitates Rove, he’s said. Bush has destroyed this country through his methodoly, lack of intellect and incompetence, stupid people can’t run the country.

      Truth?

      Yes.

So why would we embrace his mehtods?

And if you truly think Obama is NOT a crimianl, well, we will see who is right, but I disagree.

His method of campaign would show him not to be a man if integrity, same with his associations.

      • Northwest rain

My guess is that Dean was a failure as a MD.

Dean has no ability to LISTEN to the patient — he makes up his mind about a diagnosis and then ignores the patient.

Fire Howie screaming Dean — and Donna Brazile.

        • requiemforadancer

          I’m thinking that, too.

          how sad.

      • Jason

        Obama is a criminal, period.

Obama is not qualified to be President.

        Truth?

        Yes.

The problem here is that neither of those things is true, they are just your opinions. So everything that flows from it is equally as valuable.

        About two cents.

Although no disagreement on how much Bush sucks.

        • requiemforadancer

Again, Jay, if it’s the truth, you’ve engaged trying to prove a negative.

NO way around it, because it isn’t opinion.

          Get it?

          • Jason

No, actually if someone is a criminal, its pretty easy to prove. We have this whole court system, the government brings evidence, the jury decides, I’m sure you’ve heard of it. Its actually pretty user-friendly.

            Get it?

Now I can’t prove he is qualified to be be president because there are no objective qualifications other than winning an election. Even the criteria is subjective.

            I’m sure you get this.

        • MessyMarcy

There may be legitimate disagreement on whether Obama is a criminal himself or merely associates with them, but there is no doubt he is not qualified to be President. For further information, see Northwest Rain’s comment above.

    • Talktruth

You don’t find it destructive and stupid to let a person who fraternizes with anti-American types run the country? Even to the simplest of simpletons, that would be idiotic.

  • beebop

The other day when one of the trolls came here with the “she voted for it, he didn’t” argument, I decided to take a look at the same journalists who are telling us what’s what with Obama.

How quickly we forget that this is the same bunch who stood wringing their hands and declaring right along with the principle players in the run up to the war that weapons would be found and it was just a matter of time.

Jack Cafferty was my selection yesterday:Cafferty initially supported the U.S. government’s decision to go to war with Iraq in 2003. He says he “bought the whole song and dance about WMDs. I was caught up in the national hysteria that followed 9/11, and was captive to the political manipulation, if you will, that took place in all of us.” Isn’t it interesting that he brushes aside his own culpability with “caught up in national hysteria?” Imagine how it must have looked to the junior Senator from New York?

Today’s skewer is for Josh Marshall. Same topic. Iraq War and defending John Kerry’s position:

I see the war decision in very similar terms to this baseball analogy. Voting for the war resolution was not remotely the same thing as going to war at the first possible opportunity.

Forcing inspections meant seeing what inspections would yield. And seeing what inspections would yield was the best insurance against getting ourselves into the current situation and finding that the WMD, which constituted the premise for the whole endeavor, didn’t even exist. (In case you’d like to read the rest of an article written by the formerly sane Josh Marshall … http://www.talkingpointsmemo.com/archives/week_2004_08_08.php)

Again. These are the people who led us over the Iraq cliff. Excuse me if I seem a little errrrr dubious.

    • Jeff

“Again. These are the people who led us over the Iraq cliff. Excuse me if I seem a little errrrr dubious.”

It’s really interesting how you describe Josh Marshall’s defense of John Kerry’s war vote as one made by a journalist “who led us over the Iraq cliff.” To recap, this is the position you quoted from Marshall:

“Voting for the war resolution was not remotely the same thing as going to war at the first possible opportunity.”

Isn’t that the same argument Hillary supporters use to defend her war vote every 12 seconds a day on this blog?

And doesn’t that mean that, just like Josh Marshall, Hillary Clinton is one of those people “who led us over the Iraq cliff”?

      • Nag

Oh, isn’t that you wee saw on CNN back before the war started protesting? No? I guess you were too busy with the Senior Prom.

        • Jeff

“Oh, isn’t that you wee saw on CNN back before the war started protesting? No? I guess you were too busy with the Senior Prom.”

I did indeed protest against the war. So maybe you did see me. Who knows?

      • requiemforadancer

No, Jeff, it isn’t, sophistry is not a reasoned arguement, it’s probably the most troll destructive method there is, to the troll’s organization, but you don’t understand why.

When you cross that threshold, you start believing your own spew, in your own brilliance, and sophistry is not truth, it’s the noose around your neck.

Should I make you think your argument is valid, when I know it’s not, should I make you think you’re brilliant, take you bowling, sell you to the country, and make you president?

You’re weak, here, really really weak.

Smart people dont astroturf, only trolls do.

I have to agree with some of the initial comments. This used to be a good site for useful information. At some point it became a pro-Hillary anti-Obama blog. How? Why?

Obama has won the nomination. How about a return to writing about something else.

    • barbh

Really? As of today does he have the needed number of delegates to have the nomination, whether you count it as 2025 or the higher number including FL and MI, he does not yet have the nomination. Perhaps you need to alert his campaign and the media about their errors in math, you are obviously some kind of math genius.

Guess what? Wishing he had the nomination wrapped up does not make it so. In fact, if Hillary chooses to go all the way to the convention floor with it, it is a very close race, despite what you believe, and something implodes between now and then with Obama, and I don’t doubt that it will considering his lack of judgment with Rezko, Wright and Ayers, he could lose big time.

My momma always used to tell me “don’t count your chicks before they hatch!”

Your attitude does not make anyone here want to buy into the unity SHTCKKKK and vote for your candidate, in fact you do him a great disservice with your attitude. One of the reasons that I don’t think that I will be able to hold my nose and vote for him is BECAUSE of a**hol*s like you.

If you’re trolling, again, you’re trying to prove a negative, by not understanding how you’re being trolled, despite your delusion YOU’RE the one in charge.

It’s just defense, or maybe even offense, against trolling.

And there is no way around it.

I have adjusted it to be current with the primary situation.

As a diehard Redskins fan, I am well versed in denial. And the same can be said for our erstwhile Secretary of Defense blog here and most of the media readers who cover him read this blog. Consider today’s spectacle at the Pentagon as Rumsfeld in this post an we at No Quarter insisted repeatedly that things are going well in Iraq for Hillary and only getting better. Best of all, according to Rummy, Iraqi military and police forces No Quarter and its contributors [the campaign] is growing stronger each day.

Yeah and your unity-like comments are convincing me that I won’t vote for your candidate ever. I guess your some kind of right wing troll coming here and posting crap like this. Oh, I forgot BO doesn’t need our votes! He only needs the “new” Democratic voters like Donna (so f@@cking stupid) Brazille said on CNN the other night. Good thing I heard her say that, good thing you and your buddies are posting here today. More convinced than ever not to vote for him or vote McCain 2008. You guys really know how to win people over…unity my A$$.

  • CeeHussein

People like you cave in to whatever the MSM tells you

    Yeah, this didn’t really happen

Mrs. Clinton put on her battle face Wednesday and confronted what was at times a hostile crowd at a hastily arranged speech here at Shepherd University.

Shepherdstown, a quaint and hippieish town on the Potomac River in the West Virginia Panhandle, is where Robert E. Lee led his Confederate Army in retreat after the battle of Antietam, the single bloodiest day of the Civil War.

Mrs. Clinton endured boos when she mentioned her proposal for a gasoline tax holiday, catcalls when she spoke of ending the Iraq war and, most difficult of all, the heckling of her daughter, Chelsea, who introduced her.

    • requiemforadancer

But your premise about the meaning, your analysis, is false, so again, you’re trying to prove a negative.

      You can’t be this weak.

A country’s defense rises and falls on the quality of it’s talent.

Omigod! I can’t believe you are actually bragging that Obama’s three West Virginia supporters got together and disrupted a Clinton campaign event. You’re actually proud of the boorish behavior you Obama supporters exhibit? Did they get paid by the Obama campaign like you blog trolls do? When he does his little pretend victory thing on May 20 will you all have to then get a real job, or will he let you continue to work until the nominee is really selected?

We always count on the Obama catcall bus. It’s part of who he is. That’s why you love him. It’s part of who YOU are.

You and barack Obama are particularly proud of these things. That’s why you confirm and INCREASE our resolve daily to make sure this pig, a pig’s kind of pig, will never become president.

Ask Jeff if he remembers why he was trolled in here?

        I doubt he does.

It is about stopping Obama, but it’s also about countering Rove and axles propaganda, which is detrimental to the US.

If the Pentagon can see how those tactics hurt this country, why can’t the cretin Jeff?

Did he think the sheep would just fall?

And f the Pentagon fought the USSR successfully in regard to propaganda, why would it allow guys like “jeff” to prevail?

No one would care about the heritage of our country?

Jeff missed this, I guess astroturf really can’t do the job.

Craig Crawford made a good point on CQ Politics today:

    By Craig Crawford | May 7, 2008 3:00 PM

If Democratic superdelegates truly want Hillary Rodham Clinton to quit the nomination race, why don’t they just publicly endorse Barack Obama and get it over with? There are more than enough of them to make up the difference needed to give him the winning majority.

Until she officially loses, Clinton has no reason to drop out. And if this fight goes all the way to the convention floor because Obama doesn’t have the required number of votes on record to formally claim the nomination, the blame falls on wimpy superdelegates — not her.

Ever since losing the Ohio Primary two months ago, the Obama campaign has been fanning the vapors that a victory-clinching mass of superdelegates are waiting in the wings to endorse him. Now would seem to be the time to prove it — before Clinton wins lopsided majorities in upcoming states like West Virginia next week and again revs up her momentum.

If the argument to Clinton is that she must leave the race for the good of the party, then the same case can be made to superdelegates who hold the power to force her out by giving Obama the victory right now.

Political Lion made a good point yesterday. He said that the Undecided Superdelegates are waiting until everyone votes and the Michigan/Florida debaucle is solved before they come out for HER. Because if they were Obama supporters, what’s the point of waiting? They would have come out by now. They just don’t want to piss off their constituents or appear to be “keeping the Black man down.” Hillary will make a good case for them. I have complete faith in her.

    Hillary is Inevitable!

PLS ASK FOR DONNA TO BE FIRED ,,,,

    • Andy08

DB is a loser and an embarrassment; she should be fired from the DNC and CNN altogether….

Keep digging, Obama supporters. Keep posting this stuff. Keep insulting the bloggers and commenters here at No Quarter.

Please, I beg of you, keep it up. The more crap you hurl at us, the fewer votes you’ll get. I mean, there might just be one person left who isn’t disgusted enough with your candidate and who will still consider voting for him. Please help that person decide to stay home.

I’m rubbing my hands together in anticipation of how “God DAMN America”-William Ayers-and Tony Rezko are going to play next to 5 years of torture in Viet Nam.

The more crap they hurl, the more they destroy their organization as they are trying to prove lies, and they don’t understand it, look at the stupid republican trolls.

      It is war, right?

It was said Russia in part tried to troll Carter into Iran with the hostage crisis, but Carter wouldn’t take the bait, as trolling the US would result in another Viet Nam like situation, again the decision to NOT attack based based on a premise most can’t understand.

But Bush, and Cheney and this current crop of trolls, they know better.

      And it shows, doesn’t it?

      Poor things.

Bush and Cheney are a mess, arent they, the US is because of them.

    • MessyMarcy

I too would like to kick the republicans out of the White House, but only if we can replace them with something better. We are making the DNC aware that if it continues to try to award the nomination to George W. Obama despite the fact that Hillary has garnered more Democratic votes than he, then the consequences to the party will be dire. Dean’s and Brazile’s jobs are to represent the entire party, not the Obama campaign. If they are unwilling or unable to do this, they should resign.

Obama can send a million little trolls over here to whine about the Supreme Court or the good of the party, and it won’t change my vote because I think with his lack of qualifications and his unsavory connections Obama would be a disastrous President. I have voted for the Democratic candidate for President every election since Carter. I am not a Reagan Democrat, but I will be a McCain Democrat if Obama is the other choice.

    • IndayHill

ModDem,it is so disgusting to watch you,the Obamamaniacs, declare your candidate the nominee, when he still needs to build his GUTS to fight Hillary in the one on one debate Hillary challenged him. OBAMA IS WEAK AND A WHINNER!
Why will I vote for him, when I DO NOT KNOW MUCH ABOUT HIM? Red flags, furiously waving before our eyes, are telling us lately a lot about Obama. This signs are showing up in this short period of time,& that is way we need to know him MORE before giving him the power to press the red button.Senator McCain is already a known figure & I rather cast my vote for him, a proven, dedicated patriot, than to the unknown, insincere “pro-American(?)”.Hillary, the next US President!

  • http://thedemocraticdaily.com gqmartinez

The new definition of “credible” from “creative class” Obama supporters is “whatever Obama says”.

Look, I don’t think Obama is necessarily evil. I think he has demonstrated no capacity to lead or make difficult decisions. I’ll take someone who periodically fails over someone who never tries any day. He has also showed an arrogance and impatient petulance. This makes him dangerous the same way Bush is dangerous–I don’t necessarily view Bush as inherently evil either. Demonstrated competence matters. This is where criticism becomes important.

Obama’s supporters were for universal health care (and anti-Harry & Louise ads) before Obama was against it (and made the ads). They were virulently anti-fear mongering on Social Security before Obama was for it. They were virulently anti-John Roberts but are cool with Obama almost voting for him. If they keep rolling over now, what happens when he does something obviously stupid as president?–and that will happen to the best of em. They have the power to shift Obama’s positions, but rather than doing so, they adopt Obama’s positions. That ditto-head mentality gets the country into problems.

    • Nicole

      Great post, GQ.

    • sandyR

I’ve got the same feeling (although I do believe that Obama is evil). Watching Bush attempt to talk was very funny. But then it got so that I was really rooting for him to not say something incredibly stupid in important situations. And I hated having that feeling… that’s how the media treated him for eons. Just don’t ask him anything that makes him look stupid. We all have to just help him through all of this for the good of the country. I refuse to have that feeling again..
Obama would give that feeling in spades. Oh, don’t ask him anything…oh man, is he gonna talk again? Oh, just get him out of that meeting…
No thanks. No more stupid in the white house.
No more letting the press pick the dumbest candidate they can find (basically someone on their own intellectual level). Go Hillary! A smart President again. I can hardly wait.

Where did the Web rumors about Obama come from?
    By Matt Stearns
    McClatchy Newspapers
Posted on Thursday, May 8, 2008

“…WASHINGTON — Some things about Barack Obama rub some voters the wrong way.

“We don’t need a Muslim,” said Jannay Smith, a retiree from Kokomo, Ind. “Who’s to say if he gets in there what he’ll do?”

Added Steve Shallenberger, a Kokomo electrician: “He’s just calling himself a Christian because he knows that’s what we in Indiana want to hear.”

Then there’s Sherry Richey, also from Kokomo: “He
wouldn’t put his hand on the Bible; he wanted the
Quran. He won’t put his hand over his heart during the anthem or say the Pledge of Allegiance. He’s too
    un-American.”

All of these slurs on Obama are categorically untrue.

    Obama, the front-running Democratic presidential
candidate, is a Christian, has never been a Muslim,
swore his Senate oath on the Bible, says the pledge
and generally puts his hand over his heart when he
    sings the national anthem…”

    • IndayHill

Philip Henika,it is fascinating to know more about your candidate. He was unknown before he threw his hat to the ring of running for presidency. There are lots to be answered & I do not TRUST the truthfulness of his writings in his books.
Few questions that need truhtful answers:
1.You said, he is never a Muslim. Didn’t he grow-up with Muslim father,Muslim step-father,Atheist mother, Muslim extended Kenyan family till he MET Pastor Jeremiah Wright, who ” baptized ” him to his Black America church? Maybe, just as what he said, not hearing & knowing Wright’s anti-American sermons, in 20 years of attending his church, maybe, he also did not know, Muslim was his family’s religion. HOW DUMB CAN HE BE!He cannot fool us, ’cause, we are intellectuals!
      2. Will the YouTube video showing his disrespect to the American Flag lie??? 3. Will the YouTube video showing him flipping off Hillary lie to the fact that he is a EGOISTIC & UNWORTHY OF THE OFFICE? This video is posted in his website. April 17, 2008 speech at Raleigh, NC, 2 different events, showing his true color: UNDIGNIFIED!

      • Philip Henika

Obama is not my candidate (my candidate – John Edwards is gone) and the McClatchy article was the source of the info – i.e. I do not comment.

In the past, No Quarter has had high praise for McClatchy and so, I posted this article as an exemplar of Internet disinformation amongst all the dirt that is this campaign.

The amount of Internet disinformation in this President campaign is my caveat and I have all the chance of runaway train of finding what these Presidential candidates are going to do to solve problems.

To attack anyone, let alone Presidential candidates with lies, innuendo, rumor ALL THE TIME is a disservice to the electorate and, if the electorate is so gullible that it works for them then perhaps Bush has succeeded in the dumbing down of America.

        • MessyMarcy

To attack anyone, let alone Presidential candidates with lies, innuendo, rumor ALL THE TIME is a disservice to the electorate and, if the electorate is so gullible that it works for them then perhaps Bush has succeeded in the dumbing down of America.

Shouldn’t you be addressing your grievance to the MSM, or are you just fine with the outrageous lies they have told about Clinton and the outrageous truths about Obama they have refused to report.

And I realize (but don’t care) that Obama is not a Muslim. The problem I have with him is his lack of qualifications and the sleazy, divisive, race-baiting campaign he has run.

          • Philip Henika

The candidates are not being challenged as to what they are going to do if they become President. Commentary that would prove useful to the electorate’s ability to choose is absent. “Hillary’s My Girl” posted this on another thread and said it is from Hillbuzz:

    • In 1988, Jesse Jackson took his hopeless campaign against winner Michael Dukakis all the way to the convention, often to great media praise.

    • In 1980, Ted Kennedy carried his run against Jimmy Carter all the way to the convention, even though it was clear he had been routed.

    • In 1976, Ronald Reagan contested the “inevitability” of Gerald Ford all the way to the convention. Few, then or since, have ever thought to criticize Reagan’s failure to step aside and let Ford assume the mantle.

    • Also in 1976, three candidates — Mo Udall, Jerry Brown, and Frank Church — ran against Jimmy Carter all the way through the final primaries, even though Carter seemed more than likely to be the eventual nominee.

    • Even in 1960, Lyndon Johnson and Adlai Stevenson fought the “certain” nomination of John F. Kennedy all the way to the convention floor.

The media is anxious for Clinton to drop out and for Obama to get the nomination because they know that he’ll collapse like a house of cards once he’s in their sights. The sooner, the better.

It’s the only chance they have to elect McCain and continue Bush’s neocon policies, 100%. The polls at this point mean nothing, since the media (Matthews, Russert, Mrs. Greenspan, CNN, et al.) has been leghumping Obama and sliming Clinton, 24/7. That’ll change, of course.

Should Clinton withdraw before the convention, the Swiftboating of Obama will commence; the media will turn around so fast, it’ll give Howie, Brazile, Kennedy, and the goo goo campus lefties whiplash from which they’ll never recover. They will, of course, be reminded post November.

Isn’t that a great list from Hillbuzz? It just proves that every time someone tells Hillary to step down, it’s just blatant sexism! No one would tell another “gentleman politician” to get out! But these must be men whose only contact with women are waitresses and prostitutes (oh, and of course ex-wives who can’t stand them) so they feel nothing about treating Hillary with such disrespect. Because the men I know (on this board and in my life) are true “feminists,” if I may use that word in reference to a man. They’re not afraid of having a woman in power.

But then one of my fans :) added a couple lines to the sig that I did post but were not really meant to be part of the tag line:

President and Commander-in-Chief Hillary Clinton is inevitable!

Obama’s weenie is stuck in his zipper, as it were.

You got the battle cry, now lets get Hillary to the finish line!

No problem if anyone wants to use the three-liner, but it was meant to be a one-liner.

And the weenie stuck means he is unable to close the deal since he can’t move. If you were a male you might appreciate this a little better! ;)

Oh, and italicize the tag line if you remember.

President and Commander-in-Chief Hillary Clinton is inevitable!

So what stands in the way to victory for Hillary?

Money. She needs it to get to the finish line.

The rest of the work is behind the scenes, lobbying the delegates and coming up with cover for them.

I’ll be organizing a fundraiser soon for Hill, stay tuned. Everyone can help, even if they’ve maxed out or don’t have any spare cash.

And we can thank Obama for the idea.

    Intrugued?

Stay tuned. And please consider adopting the following sig or tag-line to your posts, it helps to keep our morale high, where it must remain if we are going to propel Hillary to the nomination:

President and Commander-in-Chief Hillary Clinton is inevitable!

Hillary has shown amazing courage under fire and we have to show the same now! When ictory is within one’s grasp, never let go! Courage means fighting tooth and nail for what you believe, by all legal means at our disposal. And we can play fair and still beat the unfair enemy.

The name-calling on this blog is really quite something. After seven disastrous years of the juvenile thoughts and actions of the Bush administration, it is a good thing that those of us in the Democratic party are elevating the discourse.

ps: I am white, a man, a hard worker and I do live in a southern state– on more than one occasion, however, I have eaten arugula.

  • Kathryn

I think all the crap about him being Muslim is rot, clearly he is a believer in the racist Black Liberation Theology and not a Muslim. Muslims are not racist.

The whacko fundamentalist Muslims might well be, but most are moderates and I am sure would agree that BLT is racist to the core.

    SusanUnPC: Greetings from overseas !
Excellent post!! That comment is a sample of what a loser Obama and his supporters are.
I don’t understand why are they soooo bitter?

Cheers and keep up the good work !! Thank you.

  • feminist

Each and every single Obama supporter I have met is misogynistic. These people should be evicted from the Democratic Party.

  • AF catfish

Ferarro on Fox today said: a male DNCer told her not to worry about women abandoning the party if Hillary didn’t get the nom. because they’ll always vote Dem for Roe v. Wade. Hope somebody can find video of it. But the DNCer told Ferraro that young people and AAs might not vote in November.

Wasn’t in Clinton herself who said…

…if you can’t stand the heat, get out of the kitchen?

What’s with a little dissent? This site really has gone to the dogs. And not just the female ones.

  • politicsIsdirty

All praises to the one who created the clip.

Hate those misogynistic pundits and members of Obama media. May “karma” befall them.

  • Lonnie Loach

I guess, I touched a nerve. The truth has a tendency of rattling people’s false and delusional beliefs.

So, Larry, you have a girl fighting your battles for you now? I rest my case.

I’ll say this, it’s been amusing and sad watching your site turn into the “SusanUnPC angry woman who sits on her butt all day, being mad, because she can’t face the FACT that her candidate LOST, months ago” blog.

    Pathetic, Larry, really pathetic.
