    Hey Larry and Susan. I recommended your site to my kids. They were refugees from the Great Satan..LOL. You wouldn’t believe, ( Well, yes you would ) some of the names they were called at Kos,to name a few. You have just added 3 very strong female voices…( Along with dad’s ) to your site…THEY LOVE IT!

    I posted in another thread about how comments sometimes get caught in the spam filter. I THOUGHT that it was a Firefox addon to post links, but I tried posting a link with the button above the comment box and that one got lost as well. Frustration!!! My comments without links are fine. I see other posters with links, so I have no idea why it’s happening to me. Maybe it’s God’s way of saying “get off the laptop and get to work”.

    Oh, by the way, I saw JoeMentum excoriating Obama on CNN a little while ago. They were talking about National Security and the fact that Hamas has kind of endorsed Obama, and that Obama wants to negotiate with Iran, after Ahmadinejad called Israel a “stinking corpse” that soon will be gone. Obama wanted to declare himself the winner so badly, well, this is his prize. And so it begins.

      I was having a problem with posting links, too, there was a nice CNN article about Harvey Weinstein, the producer, going to bat for Clinton, but the links were sending the posts into the spam filter, I think.

        ALSO: Do not use a very generic username because those get used a lot in the porn spam. When I searched for “Simon” — i got pages and pages of porn spam. Ugh. So add something like some numbers — Simon232 or something like that.

        AND when you e-mail me, send me the username you’re using so I can use that to search. Thanks!

          Okay, that helps.

          Get a chapcha filter. Helps a lot to keep the bots out. Without one, it’s a never ending battle of spam. Didn’t place one even on my XHTML/CSS testing blog, and had over 1000 spam posts when I finally returned to it (it was easy to correct — delete database. But a production blog, forget it).

          Just easier to require registrating, and using some comment service. Those intending to post don’t mind, but the bots and trolls have a barrier. Just a simple one is enough to half the junk.
