Simply put he had a much better run primary campaign that focused on all the states, instead of the supposed "key states" like Hillary did. They are both talented, intelligent people who are doing a great job in tough times. Are there points to criticize him on? Of course, and thats true for all presidents (and would have been if Hillary won too) he is not a god after all. He won the nomination fair and square.
