Two lone voices speak for millions of us

There is something especially touching about the courage it takes for a person to point a video camera at his or herself and speak out, and then post the video for all the world to see. Both of these men speak so articulately about what matters to all of us here at No Quarter. The second man speaks about Larry’s critical piece about the video the GOP has, as well as the Rezko trial.

heyboy56 and idiotwind75 videos were great!

I think they had it wrong about who was going to riot at the convention. Boy, have they miscalculated.

  • Ugo

Sorry, Sen. Obama will not get my vote period. I will continue to fight for Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton to the last second, She has to win the nomination.

  • Linda C.

The Board games. I have been reading this for a few weeks. Talk about Holy Crap Batman. Is this the change we want in the white house. Washington beltway politics on steroids

  • hummingbirdv

Thanks for the videos… both are great! Especially liked … “they like the ‘idea’ of Obama without knowing his ideas… just think about it”. I hope everyone will.

  • Grace

Susan, Thank for the post! I hope Ky and Or will watch these.

I was very touch by this writing:

“I am a man. I have two college degrees. I am fortunate to earn a comfortable salary. My wife and I drive imported cars. We live on the west coast. I have seen the price of arugula at Whole Fields. I’ve voted Democratic in every election since 1980. I don’t live in a small town; I don’t have any guns and I don’t cling to religion. I’m not bitter.

I support Hillary Clinton for president.

I’ve been a Hillary fan since she announced for the Senate in 2000. I was upset that I lived 3000 miles away and couldn’t vote for her. When the 2008 presidential race began, I supported her over all of the other candidates. She was better than Dodd, Biden, Obama, Richardson, Edwards, Kucinich…am I leaving anybody out? She is the best, most qualified presidential candidate that we have available. I caucused for her in my state’s primary. When she came to Seattle I stood outdoors in the cold for two hours to hear her speak. She was magnificent.

The DNC leadership, together with the MSM, are doing everything possible to run her out of the race. Forget about the fact that she is the most qualified candidate. Forget about the fact that she’s the only Democrat who can win in November. They’ve tried everything. She’s mean. She triangulates. She’s a Clinton. She’ll do anything to win. She’s hurting the party.

Why not come out and say it? She’s a woman.

That’s why you’re opposed to her. That’s why you’re doing everything you can to keep her out of the White House. That’s why I have to listen to the stupid jokes and the thinly-veiled misogyny when the talking heads are on the air. That’s why there’s the combination of cowardice and condescension directed at her.

That’s why I’m done with the Democratic Party.

You need me. I am loyal. I pull the lever straight down the ticket. I support the party. I have money. You can’t have any of it.

If Hillary isn’t the nominee, I am not going to vote this November. I won’t vote for McCain; I just won’t vote. For the first time since I turned 18, I will stay home on Election Day. This runs counter to everything I have believed in since I started voting almost 20 years ago. I won’t show up. I won’t vote for any of the Senate, House, or local candidates. I won’t vote for the judges. I won’t vote in the sheriff’s race. I won’t be there. I’ll be home. I won’t be watching the returns on TV late into the night, like I usually do.

    I’m done with you.

You’ve told me that when she grows up, my daughter isn’t good enough to be our president. My wife is unqualified because she’s a woman. My mother should sit down and be quiet.

Screw you. Go ahead and push the best candidate out of the race. Go ahead and nominate the candidate who will lead the party to a replay of 1972. Go ahead and find the only possible way we could lose, with an incumbent whose popularity is in the toilet, and a Republican candidate who offers only more of the same. Go ahead. You’ll be doing it without me.

terrific tapes. they give me hope for my country, hope that i’d been losing after the obamanut and msm barrage. thank heavens real people know better than the obamaloons and the msm!!!

to the two of you – you do speak for many millions of us. and thank you so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • rwc

To get the DNC and SD’s to listen you need leverage and lots of it.

Think about it, Obama has the backing of most of the DP establishment and its rather stupid bosses like Reid and Pelosi.

Unless someone shows them the tape of Michelle doing her version of Wright I doubt anything will shake them. Even they were shown the tape it may not sway them?

Why? because they only care about their personal fiefdoms, they don’t care about the party or country one bit. Look ever see Kerry or Kennedy stand up to Bush? no!

Obama is their ticket to even more power. They know he’s gutless and rather stupid mouthpiece despite his Marxist and neo-Islamist upbringing. The perfect puppet for them to push their agendas through.

Hillary OTOH wouldn’t tolerate Kennedy or Pelosi pushing their agenda on her for a minute. She’s neither stupid nor gutless nor a Marxist.

The battle is very uphill and unless the resistance has brought more than a few youtube pleas they are out of luck.

I can see it now: Here’s the way the the Ahmijinedad meeting is likely to go down.

    1. Shortly after Obama is sworn in, Ahmijinedad invites him to become the first U.S. President to visit Tehran since the fall of the Shah. Obama goes for it “unconditionally.”

    2. Although Obama doesn’t have any conditions for the visit and the talks, Ahmijinedad does: a bilateral face time for the press before they go inside and talk turkey. Obama goes for it, what harm can there be for a few smiley faces and him laying out his vision of hope? He thinks he’s on his way to topping Nixon’s China visit.

    3. Standing beside Ahmijinedad in Tehran, Obama, as the guest, delivers a stiring message of hope, thanking Ahmijinedad for his wonderful hospitality. So far, so good. Now a few brief remarks in Farsi from the little unshaven twerp and they can go inside and Obama can play the international version of Chicago hardball.

    4. Flanked by Obama, Ahmijinedad then describes how Iran is a couple of weeks away from initial operational capability on nuclear warheads tossed by ballistic missiles that can reach Israel, how they are going to finish the job that Hitler started (well, at least he won’t be denying the Holocast any more), and how Obama and his Great Satan are powerless to do anything about it.

And what’s Obama going to do in the heart of Tehran, walk off of the podium? Boy, that will look powerful, all right.

It would be nice if Obama would address the situation of what he would do if the guys that he wanted to talk to had preconditions. That, in effect, might render his “unconditional talks” strategy completely impotent.

Of course, that’s what Michelle has been implying about her wimpish husband all along.

  • ScottVA

OK Doesn’t anyone get now that’s why he’s the Bush of the Democratic Party!

  • Clinton Fan

Why not come out and say it? She’s a woman.

Nailed it in one, Mike. It’s the dirty little secret reason they can’t acknowledge.

On the issues, she’s the best candidate. Hands down. Everyone knows it. But she’s got that “problem” of being a woman.

We’re not as evolved as we think, unfortunately.

  • so saddened

retired, you present a convincing scenario. you present reality. obama doesn’t get reality. and i’m pretty sure he doesn’t care. he just wants to be the first black president. other than that, he doesn’t give a damn.

of course, he also wants to make millions and millions of dollars from being the first black president.

that the country will be totally screwed because he has no clue what he’s doing, plus he doesn’t care if the country’s screwed as long as he gets his, doesn’t matter to him at all.

Wow.. amazing videos. I am so in awe of those guys putting it out there like that! Oh please make sure that the vids are front and center tomorrow for the folks who aren’t nite owls like me.. they need to be seen and discussed by the NQ daytime visitors.

I swear, it’s like every time they push hard on Hillary, her supporters push back even harder and get more resolute.

My message to DNC: Dont’ fuck with us! People are not moving away from Hillary, they are circling around her… I’ve seen so many new supporters on line this week, and they are pissed! I will not be NLP’d into voting for Obama. ANd I won’t let the eggheads at the DNC choose my candidate for me. “We have not yet begun to fight!”

IF Hillary scores huge margins in the primaries, the superdelegates will have difficulty nominating Obama. So, everyone needs to call and email Oregon immediately. Don’t bother blogging unless it is to provide details on how to help Oregon margins.

Make sure the superdelegates from your state know that you are watching them, and that you intend to vote them out if they do not honor the will of the people. Let them know you support Hillary and you cannot in good conscience excuse their insistence on creating pressure for Hillary to pull out. Tell them you expect them to wait until the people vote in the primaries. You can email them at your state website.

Obama will immediately seek to ruin any big Hillary wins by announcing more superdelegates. There needs to be a plan to keep him from stealing the show. Some journalists are starting to notice this. It might help to email them and ask them to dig deeper into this issue. But first, call Oregon!

A good one is to claim, anyone endorsing Obama for the nomination (and if he’s nominated, for presidency) don’t vote for him/her in November and the congressional election later.

I see John Barrow endorsed Obama, he won a very hard fought election in 2006 (winning by less than 900 votes, despite the money spent and the turnout, and national coverage). Even moving to Savannah from Athens when his district was rewritten. He’s a good choice to go, and every Dem commissioner in my hometown who encouraged Obama due to his race (they vote due to race, and the city is sick of it anyway). I’ll be voting for any of their rivals into 2012, even if it requires voting along with their nemesis, the arch-conservative Billy Morris (who I don’t love, either).

I’ll ensure the area will gain more GOP footholds, if that’s what it’ll take to put a stop to “race voting” and endorsing sexism by proxy even. Not trading women’s rights for party, because now voting for even a Dem is no different.

    Screw Hillary, screw yourselves. >:(

Thanks for that link to statements by ob re KY.

    Is anyone buying this malarky?

He blamed emails from Fox for his lack of vote in KY and so he won’t even try to win the state and then he claims Iowa as an example of him having time (when he was entirely unvetted and unknown)
and he thinks he’ll have time to visit all those “anybody but obama” voters ***individually**** and win them over????

    Say what?

but the friggin best part is this:

“make sure people know my track record.”

Yep, sure… his track record speaks for itself.

    NOBambi.

In one of my calls to the DNC after some particularly offensive comment by the so-called “party leaders” I ranted about Hillary supporters merely walking away in a puff of smoke that will eclipse all the “childish” threats of rioting and usurping the party elder Denver vote.

I told them we are the old core “grown up wing” of the dem party and wouldn’t riot since we are not a movement we are individual voters but that they would hear us loud and clear.

Our silent millions of Hillary loyal defection is guaranteed to be heard. They don’t see it coming.

Obama is a powderkeg and he is gonna blow them up.

We didn’t start the fire so we will not help them put it out.

  • karen for Clinton

5 superdelegates a day or every superdelegate supporting him will not change the inevitable landslide victory for mac if they are all stoooopid enough to crown obama as nominee.

She’d wipe the floor with mac, obama will be his doormat and we can only be honest and continue to wipe our feet all over him.

The DNC has managed unity. They have unified Hillary supporters firmly with Mac supporters in strongly opposing ob!

  • karen for Clinton

That decision is pre-mature. I am open minded about my options in November since none of us know what the options will be.

It will not be Obama vs Mac with no other options.

The November ballot is up in the air at this point and might be Clinton vs Mac or a strong third party candidate, or Mac could even drop out for example for some reason.

The wheel is still in spin. Let’s just keep holding onto today and making each day count.

The future is unknown, but it is pretty much assured there will be lots of twists and turns left so hold onto your Hillary hat and FIGHT.

  • jyotinc

We should all be positive at all cost. Hillary is the nominee for the presidential election and the president in 2009.

  • karen for Clinton

Thanks for that, just added my 2 cents.

If the party elders had a whiff of sense and practicality and remained unbiased we would have long ago won this brawl for the white house.

There is something to be said outside of the mass media blitz and they need to stop kneeling down in praise to the media turncoats who rarely present accurate or unbiased opinions in political wars.

They cannot railroad us, we understand the consequences of the obamabandwagon’s acid trip.

  • bob h

If we get the nomination called in June, without Florida and Michigan, I suggest not a third party but a national write-in for Hillary in November. Probably that will mean a short-lived McCain gerontocracy, and Hillary can take it in 2012.

I’m not sure it would be death to the party. Here’s what I expect to see if Obama is nominated: McCain as president with a veto-proof Democratic majority in the House and Senate.

However, even with a veto-proof majority, I imagine it won’t matter at all and the Republican president and minority Republicans will continue to easily and successfully maneuver their agenda into place. Meanwhile, Democratic leaders will wring hands about having to compromise and go along with the Rethug agenda – continuing to be unwilling to use the power they have. Kinda like right now. Same-o, same-o.

  • rjj

Sorry sweetie, the weak democrats went with Obama. Further they are endorsing Rove-lite methods AFTER everyone but the Bush base had caught on to and were repelled by Rove’s ratfuckery.

They are not only weak, AND servile AND cowardly, they are incompetent.

What you are seeing is rage against impotence.

That is why I vote for McCain.

These Democrats are an absolute liability.

  • JM

What you are seeing is rage against the mahine! Fight the power!

  • JM

    Correction:

    Rage against the machine… sorry.

  • President Hillary Clinton will beat Obama and his troll army

Hillary keeps proving everyone wrong over and over again including some of her supporters who continue to show doubt about her winning. Those of you with doubt maybe consider not worrying about a letdown so much? And there will be plenty of time to plan for contingencies once the nomination outcome is known for certain. If you are thinking “Being positive is great, BUT…” maybe try not say anything at all and let what I just wrote sink in for a little while. I’ll end with what I started with: Hillary keeps proving everyone wrong over and over again. Stay with Hillary and keep fighting!

  • http://www.arguewitheveryone.com ChrisXP

Barr looks interesting to me, especially since he’s running after all this race baiting stuff, and the Neo-Confederates like him.

Rather have the two extremes neutered, than having only one race baiting side having complete power — and the result afterwards.

This country isn’t turning into Zimbabwe.

  • LesleeE

Two great videos, two amazing guys. Thank you both.

  • http://www.arguewitheveryone.com ChrisXP

I’m not sure it would be death to the party. Here’s what I expect to see if Obama is nominated: McCain as president with a veto-proof Democratic majority in the House and Senate.

The latter won’t happen, since there will be Hillary supporters who are going to vote the bums out.

The one change Obama pushed forward, and not intentionally, is angry women voters who’ll vote his supporters out, as he endorsed sexism to win. In many elections even 10% of that angry vote will make a difference.

  • beebop

If it comes to that, I am certainly prepared to vote for McCain. I don’t consider it a Republican vote. I consider it a message to the DNC. It feels more palpible that way ;P

Just found this link on another blog. It shows some interesting statistics.
One of the myths of Obama’s campaign is that he has “turned out the vote” and has gotten “people who have never voted before excited” about this election. Well, the figures in this link prove him wrong.
According to http://www.americanresearchgroup.com/ Obama has won primaries and caucuses when the turnout was low, and Clinton has won when the turnout was high.
So Clinton supporters, let’s start setting everyone straight about this. Hillary is the one who has “turned out the vote”, and Hillary is the one who has gotten “people excited about this election.”

  • cc

when you use the word silent – I hope that doesn’t mean refusal to vote. we need to make a statement, write in hillary, vote nadar or do what I’m doing – vote McCain. please don’t refuse to vote.

  • LilRod

Those who refuse to believe that McCain can win with the help of the Hillary Democrats do not understand the electorate.
We are patriots first..who love our country. We WILL NOT be party to helping elect someone that many of us see as completely unprepared to hold that office. We are patriots who believe in the balance of power & are willing to place the responsability in a Dem Congress to temper McCain.
What we are NOT willing to do is to elect another GeorgeWBush from the left.
    Our country is us.

We will not stand to the side seeing this horrendous mistake play out.: the pushing down our throat of this completely unready and completely flawed candidate: OBAMA..
    NO WAY JOSE

  • Andy

    This is what I wrote:

Two and a half millions people voted in FL and MI. They got up earlier, stayed up later, skipped lunch, took time off work to vote in a primary. They did this despite being told by the DNC there might be some consequences to the change in the date–something was completely out of the control of the people. People went and voted in unprecedented numbers because the cared enough. People participated !!
That is a celebration of democracy. How can any democratic party shun them away? It wasn’t the people’s fault.

Please, count their votes, hear their voices and most important: respect them !! Florida and Michigan’s delegations need to be counted in full. At this point there is no other way than respecting the certidied, legal and clean elections that took place in January. Florida and Michigan must have a say on who our nominee is. Think about the people that voted. They are the ones who can make or break the November election. The people that participate, the people that vote. Anything other than seating the full delegations as per the Jan. results now
and allowing them to have a say on who the nominee is would set a terrible precedent. The mechanisms for setting primary dates can be discussed later.
Shuning away people that participated has no fix. Thank you.

After thinking about the video the repubs have I am more convinced then ever that it is true. Because of the repub ad against MO and her “first time proud” comments. It is unusual for a candidates wife to be so directly attacked. I think the repubs are setting the stage for the video of MO railing against “whitey.” The repubs are now defining MO for the unaware and then will spring the “whitey” video. IT will feed into a pattern, Wright, never been proud, MO’s thesis…Yeah it is out there…the only question is when???

  • beebop

  • Teri rini Powers

Hillary has to get a break….I do not understand the bias. From the start, Obama’ is given ‘the benefit of the doubt” and Hillary is crucified!!

Obama said that he did not really know Tony Rezko….then he said that he bought some Real Estate from him….then he said that Rezko gave about $2000 towards his campaign and then he changed it several times and said about $400,000!!!

HE SAID THE SAME TYPE OF THING ABOUT AYYERS AND THE PASTOR WRIGHT SITUATION….HOW DOES HE DO IT? NOT WITHOUT HELP FROM THE HIERARCHY OF THE DEMS…..THE WANNABE PRESIDENTS, KENNEDY, KERRY,ETC…..SHAME ON THEM.

Obama gave an outstanding speech for which he took credit….and then it comes out that he stole the speech from his friend, another politician……THE PRESS LETS ALL OF THIS LIE….UNTOUCHED UNTESTED BUT THE REPUBLICANS WILL NOT…..BUT UNFORTUNATLEY THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY WILL PICK THIS SMARMY CANDIDATE TO RUN….SO AGAIN, WE WILL LOSE.

  • Isolde

McCain has to campaign for the shunned Democrat vote. He cannot just get it for nothing. You can be assured that the Repubs are looking at what they can offer that will not completely alienate their base. McCain is already going for the center and it is very awkward for him. He has to do it now so it is out of the way for the general election. Be assured that the Repubs are aware that they potentially could pick up the Reagan Democrats again because their own party does not want them.

  • rjj

We will be fortunate if the current administration leaves office no matter who wins.

Piss poor time to mount a campaign for change when all are desperate to change back to pre-millennium status quo from which we might be able to undo past policy disasters.

The Dems can not be rewarded for 8 years cowardice, failure, topped off by this latest proof of mind bogglingly and catastrophically bad judgment.

    They are unfit.

And it is so clear to many of us that Obama does not have in his heart the love for ALL Americans that exudes from Hillary. Not just her love for ALL Americans..but also for our GREAT COUNTRY.

The only way you can get anyone to vote for your candidate is to try and shame them into it. People resist so you shame and bully. Calling names, telling people that they are racist, or ignorant, or old is not working. Now they are bad Democrats. You are the bad Democrat because real Dems don’t dismiss and demean each other. We have been told we are not needed for Sen Obama to win, so what do you care what we do? He is going to win anyway right. Sen Obama needs to learn that he has to sell himself to the voters, we do not have to sell or justify ourselves to him. We do not have to prove that we are good enough to vote for him.

  • usedmeat

    Wishful thinking on your part?
We have over four months for something come out of Obama’s closet or for him or one of his surrogates to implode.
I was two years old when that headline Dewey Beats Truman was printed. I may not have seen the machinations behind it (They had a Truman Beats Dewey typeset too) but I do know that the media would have reported the facts, not opinion disguised as facts.
This race the candidate that took the low road has been Obama.
From claiming the “Bradley Effect” to explain his loss in NH to claiming Hillary’s statement of fact about turning Martin Luther King’s dream into reality took a savvy committed politician into reality is racist.
Well, if Obama gets the nomination he’ll come up against the masters of such tactics, the republican party. Part of me would love to see him be on the receiving end of the mudslinging.

This is an open call to all lawyers. I have just found out that several county attorneys in my state have endorsed Obama. I will be writing an open letter to all lawyers in my state to oppose these
“weak knee-ed” politicians. There is no substantial basis for any one to vote Obama. I encourage all attorneys to make it known that ethic attorneys do not vote “pocketbook.” It reflects badly on our profession. Anyone, lawyer or not, who would care to point this out– is more than welcome. Flood Montana with your disgust.

She got REALLY tired the other day, apparently, and grilled a BO person or something. • sandyR

  • beebop

First, the word “retard” is just about as ugly a word as I can imagine. My sister teaches “special needs” children, and you marginalize them when you use this term … but as an Obama supporter, marginalizing people is a natural reaction to what you don’t like to hear, isn’t it?

There is still TONS of coverage coming out of the trail from the people on the ground in Chicago since the national media seems averse to reporting anything that even remotely is unfavorable to BO.

Rumors are stock in trade for the Republican party, right? Get used to it. Just because its “the One” doesn’t mean they are going to change their tactics. Politics are tough. Can’t take it? Find a different “hobby” for yourself and your weak kneed little friends.

In February I was only beginning to suspect that the democratic primary was being rigged. My representative declared early for Obama, and back then when I called to protest, her spokesperson was dismayed at my anger and said “It was supposed to be over by now. it wasn’t supposed to go on this long.”
“Oh yeah, I told her, Obama was supposed to be the nominee already and we dupes were all supposed to be happily congratulating ourselves on how post-racial and non-prejudicial we are while you pukes laughed up your sleeves and give each other high fives.”

I called that sore thumb today, I only got her answering machine but left this message:

Please tell the truth about what went on behind the scenes these last few years. Who planned this? Who is holding it together? Who is telling all of you: “just hold on, don’t make eye contact, we will win, Obama will get the nomination, they will vote Democratic in the fall and all will be forgotten?”

How was it planned? Give us a chronology?

If you don’t have the courage to speak out in your own name, at least be a deep throat. It maybe that you don’t see Obama as the danger I do, but respect and love for America, the American people and your own constituents should be reason enough for you to come forward with what you know.

That is the message I left on her machine and wrote in an email and later today will fax to her office.

I am not telling you this to pat myself on the back or get your appoval. I hope you will join me in hammering at any cohort of this coup who you think may be a weak link. Remember Colon Powell, who told the truth only after it didn’t matter any more, maybe it is possible to get someone to crack now.

  • http://www.arguewitheveryone.com ChrisXP

The biggest fact is what revisionist history has done to Chamberlain.

If you seriously study history, you’ll see who benefits to paint Chamberlain as the fool. Wasn’t the fascists, or the monarchs — but the Communists/Marxists/Socialists, that’s rampant in the UK, even in the 1930s.

Because British secrecy is more strident than our own, such records of how and why Chamberlain cut such a deal won’t be known for decades from now, and if the USA (and Russia) doesn’t get their sticky fingers on certain documents (like how much the USA was involved with WWII prior to 1941, despite claiming to be “neutral”).

I get a kick how folks play history, even Neo-Cons (those Commies that helped to rewrite it).

What has this to do with anything? If there is an attack it will be on Bush’s head but the Obamatons will blame Clinton. Just like they did with her AUMF vote. Bush lied and invaded Iraq but in the Obanmazoids’ minds (picture a moth circling a candle) it’s all Hillary’s fault.

The Democratic Party has turned its back on ALL women no matter what their age, color, income, education. Some women especially younger ones don’t realize this yet. For my husband and me, they have turned their back on the most important person in our lives and who we would move heaven and earth for, and that is our daughter. We care too much about her future and her civil rights. We simply will not let this happen. The videos are excellent and we agree with every single point made in both of them. You can count us as 3 of the millions of Americans being spoken for. We will shun the Democratic Party forever if they continue with this farce and force the likes of Obama on us. We will not vote for a candidate or Party who is so blatantly sexist and demeaning of women. At this point we’re only willing to vote for a Democratic nominee if Hillary is POTUS candidate and Obama is nowhere on the ticket. You see we think he is so detrimental for this country for so MANY reasons that we don’t even want him “a heartbeat away” from POTUS position. Oh and another thing if the Democratic is not completely overhauled with the corrupt leadership like Dean and Brazille removed we will remain Independents and they won’t see a dime of support nor another vote. We’ve been carefully watching all those who are endorsing Obama and consider them to be of either very poor judgment, ignorant or of very poor moral character and will act accordingly if they happen to appear on any of our ballots or in movies. We are shunning the media outlets including MSNBC, CNN and NPR and would like to see them investigated by the FCC by their outrageous and alarming behavior.

Hey, good idea about building nuclear power plants! Can we do that here in the U.S., too? Oh, no, can’t do that, we’re against nuclear power for “environmental reasons.” We just export the glow worm shit to others not as smart as we are about the environment.

Also, good idea about drilling for oil in the U.S., too, we have plenty of untapped reserves right here. And while we’re at it, let’s just refine right here, as well, through some newly built refineries. Sorry, can’t do that, either, “environmental concerns,” again.

There’s plenty of energy business to be had right here in the U.S. Some of it might even reduce the price of gas at the pump. Oh no, we wouldn’t want that, not in the whiner’s playbook.

We are so quick to do this stuff for others, but when it comes to our own shores, sorry, “envirmonmental concerns.”

Thank you, guys. We’ve got two real patriots on video, talking about what should have been investigated long ago. The information on the Illinois Combine and Obama’s connection, the Rezko trial mess, and all the rest is only surfacing now because the MSM has once again failed us. But even more heartbreaking, the Democratic Party, my Party led by presumably, wise senior party members, has been unwilling to vet a candidate, has distorted the facts and allowed a sham campaign to get this far.

I agree, btw. This will be the end of the party I grew up in. Why were only Florida and Michigan sanctioned by the DNC ?????
WHY ARE ONLY OUR VOTES In FLORIDA AND MICHIGAN VOTES BEING DISENFRANCHIZED BY OBAMA , HOWARD DEAN AND DONNA BRAZILE???????

Three other states broke the rules ..why have they not been held accountable and only two select states that did not and were not going to go in Obama’s favor? Dean and Donna Brazile have been surrogates for Obama and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise!

    Quote:
Two top Michigan Democrats, anticipating that the Democratic National Committee will strip them of all their convention delegates now that the state has scheduled its primary for Jan. 15, sent a letter to DNC chairman Howard Dean protesting the party’s “selective enforcement” of its calendar rules.
Sen. Carl Levin and Debbie Dingell, a member of the Democratic National Committee, write that New Hampshire’s ostensible decision to move its primary before Jan. 19 — the day the DNC currently schedules the primary — violates the same rules that Michigan has run afoul of.
“Someone has to take on New Hampshire’s transparent effort to violate the DNC rules and to maintain its privileged position. Hopefully the DNC will, and you will, promptly urge our candidates to stop campaigning in New Hampshire because of the New Hampshire’s expressed intent to violate the DNC rules,” the two write.
    Quote:
On August 19, 2006, the Democratic National Committee (DNC) set the dates for the selection of delegates to the 2008 Democratic nominating convention as follows:
    at Iowa caucuses held no earlier than January 14, 2008;

    at Nevada caucuses held no earlier than January 19;

at a New Hampshire primary held no earlier than January 22; and

at a South Carolina primary held no earlier than January 29.
The Iowa caucuses were held on January 3
The Nevada contest was held when it was supposed to on January 19
The New Hampshire primary was held January 8
The South Carolina primary was held on January 26

PLEASE INCLUDE THOSE FACTS IN YOUR LETTER TO THE DNC..LET THEM KNOW …THAT YOU KNOW… THE FULL TRUTH..THEY COUNT ON MOST AMERICANS OUT OF FLA AND MI NOT KNOWING!!

The problem with a write in campaign, is depending on the state, either the write in votes are discarded, or worse, they go to the party nominee. So while we could write in Hillary’s name, the vote would count as a default Democrat and actually go to Obama. Each state is different, so be sure to check your state first. I wouldn’t want to vote Hillary and actually have the vote count for Obama.

Your attitude to the “old” is unacceptable. My grandmother is 102 years old, has voted Democrat ever since Hoover, and even she is not going to vote Obama. And when you think about it, she was alive when the Titanic went down, through WW1, The Great Depression, WW2, the Cold War, The Korean War, the Vietnam War, the Gulf War and these two wars. She has seen it all – including people like Obama that come and go. Give the elderly some credit, and some respect.

PLEASE, PLEASE know the rules in your state before you write in Hillary. If your vote goes to the default democrat, you’ll just be giving Obama your vote.

This is totally true regarding write in votes. York State where I live has not even clarified the rules as yet.

Any write in votes where there are clear write in voting rules may be ok. But if all protocols are not followed [state by state differences],then Obama will be given the vote.

It may be wiser to think about voting democratic and omitting the Presidential line. I called Board of Elections in New York, and they said a President can be on another party. But we should all be very careful and call local Board Of Election state per State to find out what goes on.

You are obviously a troll who should not be on this site. After getting a whiff of the stench emanating from DailyKos,HuffingtonPost, and most left wing blogs that have used the most abusive sexist language I have ever seen on the Web, the trash Obamatons have spewed is so disgusting I have avoided these blogs and others whose foul language and misinformation drown out reasoned opinion in a sea of hatred and malice.

If you think NoQuarter even mildly emanates the sleaze of unfairness and hostility on these Obama
sites then I believe you can’t read.

grant you are looking here at one rumor..but the facts are glaring on so many other fronts, i do not understand hwo anyone could possibly support Obama, for so many reasons..i can’t count them all here..do the research as most here have done , and if you still support little lord Obama then i would say you have a character flaw, or you just enjoy the kool aide so much you are willing to sell out your country.

fly a 2004 elected dem delegate from the State of Florida…yes i am one of the voters who Obama and his surrogates don’t want to count my vote.

If you call that democracy..then you are not American!

    BRAVO!!!!!!

It’s been closed now. From the site:

During the past 24 hours the poll has become competition for supporters of Senators Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama to gain the most votes. We’ve decided to close the poll. Thank you for participating.

Obviously it should have been coded so that votes were bound to IP addresses, so as to prevent tampering. Then again, they can’t even secure electronic voting machines from tampering, so why should any of us have any faith that they’d do such a thing for a website?
