Does Obama know what he is doing?

Well, yes and no. Is the big “O” actually trying to bring on whirrled peas? No. Obama doesn’t give a rat’s ass whether on not the bloodshed stops. What’s important to him is how he looks on the front page. Taking his cue from the successful Clinton campaigns of the ’90′s, the mantra of the Obama Eternal Campaign is: “It’s the propaganda, stupid.”

What continues to be astonishing (and far more dangerous in the long run) is the continued adoration of the pressbots. In a mind-numbingly stupid sequence of banal cliches hailed, every time, as the greatest speech ever given in the history of the world followed assiduously by the confirmation and adulation of the bobble-head press that, indeed, it was the greatest speech ever uttered by man or demi-god… we just keep on swirling in the bowl…

If you compare Evan Thomas’s current ravings about Mr. Obama, namely that he is a global moral authority, with what he said about him a few months back namely that Mr. Obama is creepy, it becomes obvious that Mr. Thomas is a more than a little–how shall I put it . . schitzophrenic. Needless to say his opinions should be discounted accordingly.

My answer to your questions:

First–the talking points parrots’ effect on the world, especially its heads of state is roughly the same as the effect during the beginning of the Iraq invasion when Sadaam’s information person kept claiming Iraq’s victory while American tanks rolled by, so to speak. They will laugh as we laughed at that guy (sorry, can’t remember his name and don’t have time to look it up). American journalists have become as silly as that guy, and since it’s clear they are taking their cue from our “godlike” leader, as that guy took his from Sadaam, the rest of the world will soon laugh at us again as they became disgusted with the country bumpkin Bush.

There is no way they can view O as a teacher–what has he done (to draw upon the comment of his wife) to make him someone we can learn from? I don’t want to learn how to cheat, to manipulate the masses. The leaders who do want to do that can certainly learn from him in that regard. But to learn anything about how to be morally superior is not possible.

Second, in regard to whether O knows what he is doing, all I can see is that he knows how he campaigned and since he can’t know how to actually work, since he has never done that, he just keeps campaigning. The problem is that he can’t cheat the caucuses in other countries, so to speak, and he can’t set his ACORN thugs to work for him in other countries. Also, he doesn’t have Dean, Pelosi, Reid, and Brazilla to change the “voting rules” for him in other countries. He has swallowed his own myth about what a genius campaigner/speech maker he is and believes he can do the same thing across the world.

I already read the Taliban reaction to his speech. He was deceptive, according to them. Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood called his speech “public relations.” They were absolutely right. He won’t win the “election” is my prediction.

And sadly we have no one in the highest office of our country who knows how to lead. He certainly doesn’t not know what he is doing at all. I am afraid we’ve turned our country over to a gaggle of people who grew up having all kinds of “self esteem” simply because their mothers and teachers thought they were precious little things. They never earned real self-esteem from actually learning something, accomplishing something, or standing on principle.

We will be considered jokes again, as we were for “electing” Bush. After twelve to sixteen years of being the laughing stock of the world, it will be terribly hard to get respect anywhere.

I had posted in the other thread, but it would appear that Obama thinks he can do this. I am past thinking that his people are brilliant at playing the p.r. game. They aren’t. I think now, that he really believes this is his destiny, and I think most of the MSM has bought into this. It is the belief that is contagious. Maybe because we all want it so much to be true. But it isn’t true. How can a man with no moral authority, broker a peace between three branches of Abrahamic religions which each believe themselves to be the only and true religion and which have been at odds for centuries? I don’t think he can, having already said the U.S. is not a Christian nation. So, if that is the case, how can he speak for Christianity in a peace offering? Certainly he can’t do this by declaring all fundamentalist religions extremist. But, I think that is his plan. I think he intends to turn the entire world against fundamentalist religion. In it’s place, would supplant some form of socialistic humanism I would suppose. A “god is human” religion embodied in the very slogan “yes we can”. If one reads our currency, it says “in god we trust”… it never said “yes we can”. So, if this becomes the plan, then are we to expect instead of a brokered peace of the three Abrahamic religions… instead an attempted marginalization of them, a declaration to the very world that inherently they are extremist and wrong? Honestly, what this would make him if successful, I don’t even want to say. But, I don’t even think he will be successful. But, in anticipation of his imminent failure… what then is the plan? How do we repair the domestic and world damage inflicted by a Presidency with a failed messiah complex? We might start thinking about it.

Amazing to see a cult of personality whipped up around Obama. It is because they think he represents what they believe – an authoritarian marxist, who is transforming America based on their shared ideology. They are so blinded by their own adoration that they turn a blind eye to the truth.

But in a way this is good, because besides setting him up for a magnificent fall, finally, when the American people open their collective eyes and see Obama for what he is, what little credibility the media has right now will be in the trash as well as all his adoring sycophants –we can only hope.

I have always wondered what is the benefit the media gets from this? Is it only the ratings? What drives this sort of behavior; no group goes to this extreme without some sort of gain; there must be more benefit they receive than we are aware of.

That One is the leader of a dangerous cult of personality. A well-organized, powerful collection of people, certainly–but a cult, nevertheless. These people and their leader are as emotionally and/or mentally disturbed as those who looked to Hale-Bopp or had a compound in Waco, or ended up in Guyana. There are other parallels, including Kim Il Sung/Kim Jong Il, Hitler, Mussolini.

This is actually a frightening turn of events since far too many in this country have opinions that are not theirs though any thought process but that are theirs because they fed to them by the news media and it didn’t start with this Presidency.

And it is going from bad to worse. The ultimate blame-shifting for irresponsible acts of humans is to use the divine as justification. We are screwed if these deranged mouthpieces are not called on their self-evident lies.

Outrageous symbolism. The Great Pretender is no messiah. Christ showed great humility, compassion, and love for all people. Christ never put himself above others. He lived a life of complete sacrifice, healing all who those sought His intervention, teaching and spreading the word of God through parables and example. His prayerful ministry was totally selfless. He never sought the adoration or adulation of the people. Nor did he desperatley seek power or position.
Christ was all about helping/saving God’s people. Mr. Obama is all about promoting himself and his ego.
It breaks my heart that our nation continues to be duped by this fraud/fake.
He is what he does.

What’s important is convincing about a third of the American people that FraudObama is systematically destroying our economy. These are the ones just working everyday and not reading blogs. Obama is a cult figure. Listen to his speeches at D-Day or the University talk about foreign policy. He is always evoking his family. What the heck does that have to do with our security or well being?

Let’s not waste our time responding to any Obots including the Baghdad Bob media!
