They maybe blocking external linking (trackbacks and all).

A normal server (with 2GB of memory and using Apache) has a default limit of 1500 active connections. “Slashdot” effect brings servers down, as they’re normally not designed to run even at the default 1500 (Apache is such a pig – 2MB of memory per connection).

For those that are interested I have been intrigued by the symbols use throughout what I’m seeing onscreen….I am referencing one book I have on symbols….They are using a combination of african tribal symbols…archaic catholic symbols and alchemical symbols in the vestments and altar cloths…
So far I see :
alchemical symbols : universal seed = source of life….a circle wih a cross inside…and Caput mortuum = latin for head of the dead…a circle with 3 dots in a tranglar formation
Archaic Catholic symbols :…They use a variation of the early consecrated church cross….a cirle enclosing a greekcross….very similar to the alchemical for universal seed…
The they are also using the Byzantine Cross for the logo of the church with a crown ……I’m still trying to find the 9 dots and 3 bar formations….and I have’nt gotten to colors yet….Have’nt found the africantribal icons yet they are’nt in my book….

Agree wiggles….This is common in Southern Baptist churches whether they are back or white….Like this in the charismatic churches as well…especially if they broadcast….Makes me glad to be catholic frankly…Prists nly do a homily ( sermon ) tht on aerage lasts about 10-15 min. tops….in and out in 1 hr….The music is usually bad but then Catholics don’t go to mass for either the sermons or the music….we go for the eucharist…
Grew up in the buckle of the bible belt….This female preacher is pretty ho-hum….I prefer the drama of a really good calvinist if you go in for poetic condemnation and all….chuckle….

What is sad is that you blindly follow someone who even claims to “embrace his church and his churchs community” so what is wrong with checking out from an open site of the church your hopes of a POTUS embraces?

Is it because insight might prove something about your candidates convictions?

Is it because you condone a faith that he holds true to his being, even after he conveniently denounced his “Uncle” for political survival?

Or is it simply that you do not care for more truths about your chosen candidate to be exposed?

At the Trinity UCOC homepage, saw a list of various functions and staff. I happened to click on “Pastor” and much to my chagrin, Jermiah Wright is still listed as the Pastor, glowing credentials included, in contradiction to all protestations that he is retired.

My curiosity piqued, I clicked on “Pastoral Staff” and to my amazement, this is what I found.
