Not now, not ever – A repudiation of Obama and the New Bolsheviks and an Interesting Possibility

When Obama first burst forth upon the political scene lo these many months ago, my gut reaction was: “he’s not ready”, now I have to add “and he never will be”. The fact that people don’t see his poisonous combination of arrogance and naiveté, intellectual ignorance and disinterest, his viciousness and contempt for others has been a consistent source of amazement for me. I can only explain it by referring to a religious/cult model. As I recently discussed in my journal on creationism, Obama on the one hand is curiously apathetic about any actual prescriptions for the body politic. His position on any particular subject is not even apparent until someone with substance (Hillary, for example) publishes her position, then, within a few days, Obama comes out with a copy of that proposal (with a few insignificant changes) and trumpets it as a breakthrough, ‘transformational’ event.

And let me pause here for a moment of personal outrage: You do not get to name yourself ‘transformational’, to do so is the absolute height of hubris, the kind of stuff that prompts Zeus to turn you into a smoking crater in the ground. Long after you are gone from the stage, if you have actually done anything worthy of the term, some unbiased observer may call you ‘transformational’, that’s the only way it happens, period.

Back to the subject: Obama as a cult figure is very interesting on a number of levels. First, his obvious proactive participation in the scheme, the cadenced, content-free, ‘revival’ speeches – all sound and fury signifying nothing. The constant self-reverent, self-referent, narcissistic, messianic comments. Originally, I thought this was some kind of self-mocking sardonic commentary – alas, I’ve come to see that Obama isn’t capable of that level of introspection (or any level of introspection for that matter). His is a true pathology, much like that of George W. Bush, remarkably similar in fact. Obama and GWB also have much in common with other historical tyrants: complete and adamantine belief in their ability to surmount any obstacle, appease any enemy, attain any objective without the slightest knowledge of the subject and in the absence of a plan of any kind. This is magical thinking of the worst sort and always, always ends in catastrophe for any who are unlucky enough to be in their wake.

While Obama as a cult figure is bad enough, the worse problem is his followers. Who are these legions of hollow-eyed zombies? Do they issue from great vats in the slums of strategic cities? Has a viral plague been released on to the voter rolls? Are they actually the remnants of human beings? Sadly, they are (or were) people just like us, tired, yearning, despondent, fervid, frustrated – but in their desperate search for a way out of the awful moral devastation that is the administration of GWB and his associates, they had the misfortune to meet an appealing sociopath (aren’t they always appealing?) and they made a fateful decision: “Ah!”, they said to themselves, “ I don’t have to think anymore, Obama will think for me. What a relief!” and they laid down their most precious possession – their minds – before the Golden Calf.

So the hordes that support Obama have made their choice but we who are left behind can still muster a thought or two among us, we can look at these cadres and dissect their structure, examine their provenance and from this research, try to discern their true purpose.

The Obamaites can be broken down into their several constituencies:

The Useful Fools

These are the fading power brokers of the Democratic Party. The Kennedy, Kerry, Pelosi, Dean crowd, etc. First off, they hate the Clintons, not so much because of the (very successful) right wingnut 20-year propaganda onslaught (although that counts as well) but because they can’t stand the fact that the Clintons actually managed to do something (prosperity, peace, balanced budget, reduction of national debt) in eight short, insanely contentious years, whereas in all that time and in all the rest of their careers, they have done, well – nothing. So they have invested in Obama because they think he is a sock puppet like GWB (but their very own this time) not knowing that sociopathy looks very much like malleability to the ignorant. Seeing the loss of power precipice ahead of them, they are clawing for one last lingering draught of the only thing that matters to them. Blinded by their lust, they don’t even see how Obama sucks them up, one by one, drains them dry and throws them over the side (anyone remember Bill Richardson?) Their power fantasies will crash and burn, should Obama ascend the throne, because other, much more ruthless partisans (see The New Bolsheviks below) have plans of their own.

The Rabelaisians

These are the smallest and most innocuous group of Obamaites. Closer in spirit to the political satirists and theater groups before them: Voltaire, Swift, the Yippies, Dario Fo, they participate as anarchists and don’t really care that Obama is essentially a hollow man. In fact, they prefer it. If Obama were to attain power, they can count on an even more intense level of governmental dissociative behavior and a more nihilistic and oppressed populace – fertile ground for machination by interested parties (see The New Bolsheviks below).

The True Believers

The most populous and the most easily manipulated are the True Believers. Their adulation has no basis in reason or responsibility, admits of no error, brooks no question and answers no call but from “The One”. In a paroxysm of religious fervor, they have given over their essential humanity and their capability of choice to their master: Obama.

Demagogues like Obama just love these folks, they are the cannon fodder for the revolution, completely disposable and completely invisible. They have absolutely no influence on events and exist only to serve as ‘the masses’. Obama’s model for this group is the North Korean populace – they starve to death for the “Dear Leader” because they have ceased to think, ergo, they no longer deserve the honorific “human”.

The New Bolsheviks

This is the last, most dangerous group of so-called Obamaites. In actuality they are not his followers, nor do they have any interest in him, his policies (whatever they might be) or his plans. This group has been looking for a way to take over a puissant political organization for decades – now they are on the verge of success. They are not easily identifiable by their persons (with the exception of those such as Bill Ayers) nor are they easily defined by their political philosophy since they don’t really have one. There is something they want, however: power.

One only has to go over the Obama political operation to see the hand of V.I. Lenin in action: the mass busloads of professionals arriving at every caucus station, beefy 6’4″ aggressive males and/or screeching Obamaharpies intimidating caucus-goers into either leaving or shutting up.

Another side note here: who was the idiot who thought that a caucus was a more democratic way to get out the vote? Completely unregulated, totally open to any and all kinds of intimidation and fundamentally divorced from the founding principle of American democracy: “one man, one vote”.

Oh wait… it was Howard “IamanObamaman” Dean… nevermind…

And of course, there is the defining Obama political maneuver – a racist political campaign designed to stir up the african-american vote by accusing his opponents of racism – nice work in a strictly political sense, it worked brilliantly, Obama got every black voter in America to cast their vote for him (this is – by definition – racism) on the theory that Bill and Hillary Clinton were white racists. Karl Rove must be spinning in his grave, oh wait…

The capper of this strategy: ever since his first tiniest success (after Iowa) there has been the constant clarion call for Hillary to step as aside as the Anointed One approaches his coronation. Without rhyme or reason, against every principle of democratic process, understandable only in the context of the naked, mindless, lust for power.

Back to the New Bolsheviks. The crowning of Obama is actually a sideshow for the NBs. Their intent is to take over the Democratic party organization, remove anyone who is actually democratic (can’t have that) and replace them with hard core ideologues (sound familiar? it’s exactly what the Bushies did to the Republican party). Note the current edict to Obama donors: put all donations to the DNC through the Obama organization… can you spell co-opt? Next, on the assumption that they manage to bamboozle the American public into voting for another incompetent narcissist – apparently not too much of a stretch these days – they will sweep out the old fanatics and replace them with shiny, brand new fanatics.

Oh please, you say, these are Democrats and they will only help restore the halcyon days of true representation and concerted government action on behalf of all the people (… pause… wait for it… cue: hysterical laughter until sides hurt).

The problem with ideologues is that, left or right, red or blue, fascist or communist, in the end they are all the same because they are interested in one thing and one thing only: absolute control over – you.

They are not interested in your problems or how to solve them, they are not interested in your children or how to raise them, they are not interested in your health or your happiness in your safety or your aspirations or your dreams – they are not interested in doing anything for you. They are only interested in what you can do for them, today and tomorrow and ever and anon.

V.I. Lenin knew what he was doing in 1917, the Duma (Russian parliament) was fractured and in disarray, Kerensky was a weak leader, the country was struggling in an unpopular war and the populace was deeply dissatisfied (sound familiar). As the leader of the minority party in the opposition he was in a lousy position to exert any influence so he called his faction the Bolshevik faction (the majority faction ) even though it wasn’t and by using party thugs to intimidate and suppress his enemies, as well as co-opting armed workers in several strategic factories, he took over the party apparatus and staged a coup on the government.

A similar coup is being attempted right here, right now. The New Bolsheviks have co-opted the caucuses and, by threat and intimidation, have sequestered the votes of millions of people they are not entitled to. They have rigged the Democratic party delegate process in a systematic manner to the point where, even in states where she has won the primary, Hillary has been denied proportional representation. Superdelegates have been threatened and intimidated and the Democratic party itself has been threatened with “blood in the streets” in Denver if they do not declare Obama the winner before the convention.

That last is, itself, very interesting: if no winner is declared and the candidates go to a vote, there will be no winner on the first vote (assuming the superdelegates split more or less evenly) this means that all delegates are then released from their commitment to a candidate. Democracy ensues! …can’t have that, can we?

The Gathering Storm

Several scenarios suggest themselves when reviewing the previous information. They all have one thing in common; the Democratic Party will not survive this election. I was stunned when I realized this, I had assumed that the Republican party was about to disintegrate into its natural constituencies (the Corporate Fascist Party, the Christian Theocratic Party and the Southern White Racist Party) but it now appears that the Democrats are going to beat them to it.

The Hillary Wins Scenario

If the Democratic party actually pulls its collective head out of its posterior and decides to try to win the general election, they will nominate Hillary. If Hillary wins the nomination, the Obamaites will run around in circles with their hair on fire and scream about how the coronation was stolen from them by the hated Clintonistas. They may bolt from the party as a faction, more likely they will try to damage the Democrats as much as possible to ‘prove’ their point that without “The One” the Democrats are lost. Certainly they will not vote for her in November. This is not quite the catastrophe that it may seem, the Obama-fanatics are neither as numerous as they might appear (remember all those cross-over Republicans and independents?) and frankly, I don’t have great confidence that they’ll show up in expected numbers come election day.

The ‘Anointed One’ Wins Scenario

If Clinton is denied the nomination by the New Bolsheviks with the support of the power-ghoul party secretariat, the Democrats can count on a huge proportion of the Clinton constituency turning their backs and exiting the party. I know that most of the professional political corps pooh-poohs this as fire-breathing partisan hype but I have witnessed a level of fury about this that is absolutely unprecedented in all my political experience. This is not hot-blooded, blowhard posturing, this is cold, hard, grim resolve – and I’m seeing it from all quarters – it’s very, very real. And it means that Obama doesn’t have a snowball’s chance of winning in the fall, the Republicans have not even begun to train their howitzers on him and he’s such an easy target: I whipped up a classic Republican commercial in about ten seconds. A simple static picture of Obama with Rev. Wright’s voice in the background screaming: “God damn America!” over and over and over…

The upshot is: no matter what course the Democratic party takes, the result will be an unbridgeable schism. Personally, I would hope and recommend that the Democrats try to win the Presidency this fall and nominate Hillary. In the best of all worlds I would hope for Obama to accept the VP spot on her ticket. It’s possible that after 8 years of watching how a pro does it, he might be capable of taking the reins himself – I doubt it, but I’ve been wrong before. I don’t think that will happen for a number of reasons, first, I don’t think that Hillary would want someone as VP whose only aim would be to do her as much damage as possible. Second, I’m pretty sure that Obama’s overweening pride would prevent him from taking second place to woman. Third, he really would be only a heartbeat away from the presidency – and that’s a scary thought.

The other variant scenario is that the Dems will force him to accept her as his VP. This would be great for him and pretty bad for the rest of us. First, if she, trooper that she is, pitches in wholeheartedly, the Dems just might squeak out a victory in the fall. This would present us with a dilemma: Obama would think this is great – he can go on eating waffles while someone who actually knows what she’s doing would do all the work… for which he could take all the credit, a perfect solution for him. We would know that the so-called Obama presidency would be yet another Obama scam-sham but we’d have Hillary there to do the work that desperately needs doing.

Frankly, in the event that he secures the nomination, I hope he refuses to accept her (I’m pretty sure he will refuse – that arrogance/pride thing again and besides, can you see Michelle bein’ down with that?).

So again, trooper that she is, Hillary will probably work her butt off trying to bring the Dems together and put The Anointed One in the White House… but, what if?…

The Crazy/Beautiful Scenario

OK, it gets a little ‘Area 51’ here so be warned. What if Hillary (and Bill) thought to themselves: “Why am I busting my ass for the Democrats? They’ve made it perfectly obvious that they hate my guts and resent everything I’ve done for the party for the past 30-odd years. We could have had a universal health plan in 1994 if the Democrats hadn’t voted against it… what the hell am I doing here?”

I’ve been saying for years that we need a viable third (and fourth and fifth) party. Ralph Nader wasn’t wrong when he said that the Republicans and the Democrats are almost indistinguishable (yeah, I know: he apparently couldn’t see the difference between the village idiot and the class valedictorian either). The wretched, pusillanimous, politically inept, spineless performance of Nancy “Impeachment is Off the Table” Pelosi and the rest of the contemptible, so-called Democratic ‘leadership’ just proves the point, the train has left the station and we, the people are not on it.

What if, in an act of staggering political courage and brilliance, Bill and Hillary formed the “Centerline Party” (just a suggestion)? Formed for people who are sick of the ideologues on both sides, who want practical solutions to real problems, who want corporations to live up to their responsibilities to the people who made them great and powerful, who believe that government can be a great agent for change which benefits us all, who know that we truly are all in this together.

We could probably get most of the moderate Republicans, y’know the old-time true conservatives who actually want to ‘conserve’ things, the vast majority of Democrats – let’s call them the ‘Big Dog’ Democrats – who want to use government the way it should be used, repair infrastructure, set realistic policies on the economy (such as raise CAFE standards), ecology (get off Oil and on to Hydrogen), conservation. Stop stupid wars before they begin and restore America’s original luster as the “City on the Hill”.

This is a unique opportunity: the most talented politicians of their generation with proven track records and substantial backing by the public, vast worldwide connections, experience and respect; who better to create a new national political organization that actually could be revolutionize, revitalize and re-form American politics for generations ahead?

Like I said, Area 51, but to quote Rabbi Hillel, ”If not now, when? If not us, who?”

Hmmm. 4 groups of Obamaites vs 1 group of Clinonites (“The Deluded”). Sounds like you have a tough haul ahead of you. Good luck on that!

    • http://hyper-educated-uppity-woman.blogspot.com Uppity Woman

They perfectly match up to the four categories of voters who would vote for Barack Obama. Good luck with that.

And it’s a long way to August. Keep your shoulder to that skeleton closet door, y’hear?

  • http://deleted AnninCA

    Bingo!

Great, great piece here. I absolutely am seeing it the same way. This has definitely been a coup.

    • itsme

“coup” means “end”. Glad to see you agree that it’s over.

      • President Hillary Clinton will defeat Obama and his troll army!

Yes it is over for Obama. You did not get the memo? He canceled his victory celebration. And that was his last gasp effort to prevent a meeting of the rules committee on May 31.

        • itsme

As I said above… “The Deluded”

          • President Hillary Clinton will defeat Obama and his troll army!

            You make no sense.

It’s a long way to August. Keep your eye on those skeletons.

In August, a nominee will be selected at the SDs will actually vote.

Then it will either be over or not, because Barky Obama is going to get his ass McGovernized in November if it’s not over for him in August.

You haven’t been in politics very long have you?

      • LandOLincoln

“coup” means “end”. Glad to see you agree that it’s over.

        Wrong, sweetie baby cookie pie.

“Coup” is what some of us will be counting on your (politically) inert bodies in about three months.

        See you then :)

        what language do you speak
        coup means:

        as in

  • http://hyper-educated-uppity-woman.blogspot.com Uppity Woman

This is an OUTSTANDING description of the different groups who support Barack Obama. Too back all those down in the pecking order don’t even realize they are being used. The New Bolsheviks are laughing their butts off.

    • President Hillary Clinton will defeat Obama and his troll army!

And we will have the last laugh over them.

    • itsme

History lesson: the Bolsheviks (which stands “majority”, by the way) succeeded. The Mensheviks (“minority”) split off, but were offered the chance to return to the party many times. They refused, formed their own party, fell victim to infighting, and faded into obscurity.

So it’s a very appropo comparison. You have seen your future, and it is as empty as your rhetoric.

Have a good day! You have one more victory tomorrow, one you’ll have to share with Obama. Enjoy it while you can!

What grownin’ concern it is too.

Have a good day! You have one more victory tomorrow, one you’ll have to share with Obama. Enjoy it while you can!

Share? You equate OR with KY on the electoral map? You equate a close contest in OR with a trouncing repudiation by the working class (those people Obama dissed because they don’t matter) in KY? Hillary will have a huge well deserved celebration and we will join her! And she could still win OR!

Nice spin attempt designed to dampen our spirits but it failed.

        • Ash Mcgonigal

The working class? “Screw ‘em,” says St. Hillary.

        • Must post one comment

HRC will get trounced in OR

          • http://deleted AnninCA

Shoot, I do so hope you are wrong. I’d LOVE to see her come close there.

            That would really get attention.

        • President Hillary Clinton will defeat Obama and his troll army!

Quote anything you want, the delegates look at the electoral map. And if you are hoping Hillary will concede based on your wishful thinking I have a very nice bridge to sell you.

          • Dan

The delegates that come out for Obama 3,4,5 a day? Like 3 today (so far)? To Hillary’s maybe 1 but usually none a day?

I never said she should concede. Why you always gotta make it personal?

Gallup Daily: Obama Opens Up 16-Point Lead, Biggest Yet!

            • President Hillary Clinton will defeat Obama and his troll army!

He can’t get enough to commit to lock her out. How many times do we have to repeat this? Since she is still in the race parading out endorsements can’t stop her. And endorsements are worth nothing at the convention since that is when the actual voting takes place. See you in August.

When you can report to us Hillary has conceded I will believe you. Until then what you way means very little. BTW Hillary won’t concede even if you tap together your wishful ruby slippers.

              • Dan

This is the second comment where you said I was being wishful. You presume too much.

But 3-5 dels a day, plus he’s already leading. The remaining states will probably be a wash. What miracle is going to happen in August?

                Who is being wishful?

        • FLVoter

You conveniently left out the rest of the Daily Gallop poll.

          General Election
          Clinton/McCain 48/44
          McCain/Obama 45/46

As well as the polls that show he will be trounced in KY and his lead in Or is only 4%.

          Thanks for trying though.

          • Dan

That’s within the MOE and will be wiped out by September anyway. But 16 points! Whooo doggy!

            • President Hillary Clinton will defeat Obama and his troll army!

Its the map. The electoral map. If you want to be a wannabe analyst you have to think like a delegate. They have to look at the electoral map which explains why Obama can’t close the deal and this looks like it is going to the convention. And Obama has no experience in this sphere like every other aspect of his political being. Winning by cheating won’t cut the mustard at the convention.

              • Dan

Again, are you referring to the delegates that come out for Obama 3,4,5 a day?

            • LandOLincoln

Hate to bust your hopey changey bubble, but it’s well known that the Gallup family are tight with the Bushes.

Gallup polls are always slanted in favor of those the RW favors…like their Trojan horse, Barry, Queen of Snots. (God, I sooo love bad puns, especially when they’re true.)

Great analysis…..Oh boy,how I yearn for that “Area 51 solution.” Get this great country back on track to greatness by two of the most competent and intelligent people in the country. Geraldine Ferraro has just said (Oh glory) that she may not vote for the anointed one were he to be the nominee. Outraged Democrats should all line up behind her.
Guts, integrity and patriotism stand above any Party affiliation; “democracy” has recently been parodied into “democratic coups!” A thorough shake-up is necessary, even if it means losing.
If ruthless power hungry thugs (in MSM, DNC, & Obama manipulators) are ALLOWED to get away with this, especially after 8 years of Rovian tactics, that’s the end of true democracy, and decent folks may as well migrate to Siberian or hide under a rock!

    • President Hillary Clinton will defeat Obama and his troll army!

Where do I sign up! It’s the only solution that makes any sense to me.

I can do it on an individual level. Find good moderate but solid Republicans and Democrats to back. Screw the partisanship stuff.

But ….. really, a 3rd party that centers around moderate ideology rather than a personality is the true solution.

    • workingclass artist

The analysis is good but I do not think that Clinton will create a new party.
at least not yet….There is talk of a third centrist bi-partisan party….But I don’t know if either Clinton is welcome as they tend to outshine so many other regular politicians…They ( both of them ) tend to generate a lot of envy because they each mirror the others natural talent…Hmmm…
      thought provoking though….

I used to work for a guy as clueless as Barry. My favorite story: one of his college buddies and he met on the streets of NYC after a long period of time. The friend looked down and depressed. My boss commented. The friend explained that, yes, in fact, he was a little out of sorts because he had recently buried his father. “Oh, my goodness,” moaned my boss, “I am visibly shocked.”

As Congressman John D. Dingell put it at the 108th Congress session after Al-Qazwini offered the prayer for the opening session:

“Imam Qazwini has become a leading voice for Muslims in America. He has spoken movingly of the need for reconciliation, for tolerance, and for the recognition of our humanity. He has worked with leaders in both the Christian and Jewish communities to help bridge the differences between us and to dispel prejudice. His work has touched Muslim and non-Muslim alike, and his devotion to our State and our community of Dearborn has been recognized by the mayor, the governor, and by President Bush.”

The White House has invited Al-Qazwini on several occasions to represent the Muslim community. Al-Qazwini has met with President Clinton and President Bush to discuss issues pertaining to Muslim affairs. The State Department and Defense Department have also invited him. Al-Qazwini continues to be one of the most outspoken and influential Muslim Shi’a religious leaders in the United States.

My God, you people are dumb.

Because you obviously didn’t read the post itsme…

Qazwini is very open about his support for Palestinian homicide bombings, HAMAS, and Hezbollah. And he’s a good friend of Hezbollah spiritual leader, Sheikh Mohammed Hussein Fadlallah–the man who issued the fatwa to Hezbollah terrorists to murder over 300 U.S. Marines and U.S. Embassy civilians in cold blood.

Craig Della Penna… You are a genius, sir!!! And when Hillary does form said party, I want YOU to play a key role in her administration! This is the GREATEST thing I have read in all of these torturous months of this campaign! You have been able to express all of our fears, all of our hopes, all of our suggestions, not so succinctly, granted, since most of us just say things like, “Obama is a putz! Vote for Hillary!” May I have your permission to email this to the media, to everyone I know, to the DNC, to the Hillary campaign, etc? Oh, forget it, I don’t have time to wait for your permission; I’ve got lots of work to do!!! I LOVE YOU!!!!

    • susan

Well, after I read your piece, I researced your blog site and wondered why you don’t post more extensively, but judging from some of the comments here, I guess the answer is ” What for?” If the readers just don’t get it, why waste you time? But, for those of us who DO get it, please keep writing. I tried unsuccessfully to send the following to your site.
I just finished reading your piece on Obama and Bolsheviks, and went to some of your other postings, and I have to agree with you, you “shoulda’ been a speech writer”. Where have you been hiding, and why are there never any comments after your postings? I have forwarded your Obama piece to everyone I know; it’s absolutely brilliant! I am going to go back and reread everything you have written, and please start 1)writing more, and 2) posting on less obscure sites. I’ll admit, it was I [me?? I??] who confessed her love for you on the noquarterusa.net comment section, but it was just so exciting to fianlly read something intelligent and cohesive on the Obama /Hillary fiasco. The fact that you misspelled outmaneuver and Deneuve in your postings only makes me like you more; it proves you’re human. Brilliant AND human; just the sort we want in a Clinton administration. I had previously read your “1.It makes you look like an idiot” piece and loved the humor in it. Honestly, the next thing you need to write is your resume’ and send it off to hillaryclinton.com.

If you’ve noticed, there is rarely anything positive in the press about Obama lately, and the threat of the Michelle video railing on “whitey” has to have the Obama camp going insane! So, sit tight, let’s wait it out, and remember that the superdelegates have to be nervous about Obama now, as well.

    Hey Author,
Really great article! I am printing it off to use for reference- my highest compliment. I love the Grecian themes and your summary of Lenin’s rise.
I wouldn’t put Swift and Voltaire anywhere near the pusillanimous antics of the Obamaphiles (although I realize you indicate them as belonging more to a parallel anarchistic thread). I just wouldn’t put the folks who wrote “A Modest Proposal” and “Candide” anywhere near the puke that is Obama.
I’d say we are drawing closer and closer to identifying that this Obama cretin truly is. And when he is finally named, he will have no power at all. (That rule exists in all types of ancient religions.) You’ve done a great deal of work in
“naming” him and his motley band of followers/allies.

Or Will you stand with your country and vote against him?

Conservatives and moderates are the majority, and wingnuts from the lunatic fringes on the left and right are the minority.

Clinton represents the majority, so does McCain.. add to that the insults that have been hurled at Clinton and her supporters, and you get ….

This is a fantastic article…to your list of Obama supporters, I’d like to add:

    Anti-War Pacifists

Unfortunately, a lot of people are pro-Obama and anti-Clinton simply because of that one vote on the Iraq war. They’ve been marching against the war for years now and think that Obama is a pacifist. These people are well-meaning but a bit too emotional over the issue. They bring out numbers about Iraqi children in the way pro-life people bring up numbers about dead unborn babies.

These people are fanatical in their own way…this cause has defined them as being a “good person” for so long…they are going to be hard to convince that Obama is not what he seems.

    • Jeremiah “God Damn America!” Wright

      They have been bamboozled.

Obama keeps making the false claim that he is the only candidate who voted against the war.

He never voted against the damn war.

He was in illinois senate at the time making back room deals and packing the health care board with patsies to help his buddy get contracts for kick backs into his campaign coffers.

The only thing he can lay claim to is 20/20 hindsight which he has in common with every other person who looks at a situation that went badly and says we shouldnt have done it that way. If the Iraq war had gone well he could say he was for it. Just like a large part of his state senate record he was never actually on record for or against…so that later he could be for or against it when it was politically expediant….aka present votes.

This little bitch is nothing more than an opportunist with highly questionable associations and a ring of political friends who are all going down currently in chicago in the pay for play scheme he helped set up for contracts with the state.

Thats not judgement to lead. That’s Bamboozling

    • Dawnelle

absolutely true and many are 100 percent unforgiving

They bring out numbers about Iraqi children in the way pro-life people bring up numbers about dead unborn babies.

I don’t mind anti-war protestors, as long as they can respect the views of folks who do approve of the work in the Middle East.

Same can be said of pro-abortion/pro-life.

If more folks actually practiced respect for diversity, the better those firebrand issues would be resolved. No one is going to 100% their way, there will have to be a compromise on both.

      1. We can’t just pull out our troops and create another North Vietname and Korea. Iraqis are people too, and they don’t deserve the fate what the Afghanis faced. Orderly withdrawal, with monitors to ensure that the Iraqis aren’t just “abandoned” like a dumpster baby.

      2. Abortion can’t be “on demand”. Keep it legal, but rare, and most importantly over issues of incest, rape and the life of the mother (most agree with this view). Not just because Joe and Jane thought humping was fun, and got pregnant. There’s consequences for not being reproductively responsible.

There’s more laws on the books over drunk driving, than killing a baby. That type of mentality needs to be checked. For once mankind starts regarding certain groups expendable, is the day mankind will decline to nothing (for he’ll even defy what Mother Nature gave us, the ability to care. The humanity in human).

  • Greg

Most Obama followers I have talked to seem to think they fit into another category that was not mentioned, and that is the “smart” category, which somehow has come about because some college kids and academics are backing him.

First of all, most kids are still pretty stupid when they get out of college, when all of the pot smoke clears and they are expected to perform in a professional environment, they find that they still have a lot to learn.. Experienced folks, now there’s where the really smart people are.

The next category not mentioned is the AA crowd, and with over 90% going for Obama, they are obviously doing so for racial reasons but will likely say they are not, and more than likely will try to fit themselves instead into the “smart” category.

    • IndayHill

I am sure this college kids will not be able to mention any successful achievements Obama has done.Obama cannot even accept the challenge of Senator Hillary in a one on one debate, and now he thinks he can win the debate against Senator McCain! Phony!Obama’s drug use in his youth was something glamorous to the young voters now-a-days, not mentioning his favorite rapper, Jay-Z, has “gangsta” lyrics. How pathetic!!
      HILLARY, THE NEXT USA PRESSIDENT!!!

    • apishapa

I think both the “smarter than thous’ and the AAs both fall into the True Believer category.

Smarties truly believe Obama’s hype about how smart they are and how dumb us old hicks are. They are being bamboozled, but will never acknowledge it.

AAs seem to truly believe he is one of them, cares about their very real issues and will somehow address those issues. He isn’t, he doesn’t and he won’t, but they blieve he will.

When Obama declares he’s won (sure to happen sooner than later), what if Clinton supporters withdrew en masse from the Democratic party? If we changed our registration, became independents? What happens over the course of a week if the Democratic party loses millions of Clinton supporters?

Would that be proof enough that we’re serious about this? That this needs to go to the convention?

Would it help provide the impetus for a third party run?

If anyone wants to organize it, I’m certainly on board to try to help. We can always switch back to the Democratic party once Clinton’s the nominee.

Would this be a good move? Or at minimum a good protest?

One of the great analyses of this entire campaign. This piece is something everyone should read to understand what we’re dealing with here.

Important, I’d call it required reading.

When you understand dynamics, you can change them. This piece is enlightening. And we need it. If you understood Stalin, Hitler, Tojo, or Bush before you experienced them…….the world may have been able to prevent what they and their forces were up to.

It can’t turn out well, never once has this type of thing turned out for our good.

The more people who understand what we’re dealing with the better.

Thank you for this insight. — Everyone else, make sure we get others to see it for our own good.

  • HillaryMadamePresident

Craig, You have written an excellent commentary. This is a perfect categorization of Obama supporters. My favorite assessment?

First off, they hate the Clintons, not so much because of the (very successful) right wingnut 20-year propaganda onslaught (although that counts as well) but because they can’t stand the fact that the Clintons actually managed to do something (prosperity, peace, balanced budget, reduction of national debt) in eight short, insanely contentious years, whereas in all that time and in all the rest of their careers, they have done, well – nothing.

It is astounding that people have forgotten how very successful the Clintons were during Bill’s tenure in office. Why on earth would you not give the other half of that amazing team the opportunity to make it good for us, once again, instead of an arrogant newbie whom I shudder to imagine what his true intentions as c-i-c would be. As Chelsea said”Mom will be a better President than Dad”.

  • http://madfeminist.blogspot.com/ AM

the Democrats can count on a huge proportion of the Clinton constituency turning their backs and exiting the party. I know that most of the professional political corps pooh-poohs this as fire-breathing partisan hype but I have witnessed a level of fury about this that is absolutely unprecedented in all my political experience. This is not hot-blooded, blowhard posturing, this is cold, hard, grim resolve – and I’m seeing it from all quarters – it’s very, very real

“cold, hard, grim resolve”–that perfectly describes how I’m feeling. It’s constant and unchanging.

  • Todd Nash

    great article.

Simply, Obama is a power monger who employs Marxist tactics as they are most expedient and accessible to him at this time. The Dem elites found him most expedient to deal them back into power. The rest is just a charade.

Speaking from experience of someone who had lived thru communist regimes.
America should not ever allow Obama into power.

After reading this and many other articles regarding Clinton vs. Obama where Obama is called a sham, a muslim, a narcissist, a sleeper agent. He’s accused of ‘stealing’ the election, etc. I’m just convinced that the blogs and commenters, except for a select few are simply agents of the GOP. You are in effect saying that fully one-half of the voters in the Democratic primaries are stupid or delusional or under the control of some conspirators. When you diminish your enemy it just makes you look that much smaller and stupid.

Sure, Hillary is the more experienced candidate, but sometimes the most experienced person does not get elected. If that is the case, then Hillary doesn’t have a chance against McCain in the fall, but we all believe she can beat him. Why? Bill Clinton beat George Bush who definitely had more experience. In politics it is not experience that wins, but who runs the better campaign. I’ve voted for Hillary (more than once) and think she would be a great President, but this article is bullshit and pure fantasy. How many conspiracy theories exist about the Clintons that her rational supporters laugh off. This is arguably the stupidest article on the campaign that I have seen, and I read a lot.

    – A Clinton supporter who thinks this article and the comments who support it do nothing but verify the detrimental effects of blind faith and manipulation.

I don’t think a lot of people are necessarily deluded. They are simply busy and don’t pay a lot of attention to the inconsistencies. A lot of very nice people I know are Obama supporters and, frankly, it’s due to his race. They just like being for the AA guy. It’s not out of some dumb white guilt. It’s more about thinking of it as “cool.”

      A kind of benign racism, I suppose…

Anyway, there are a lot who are in the tank due to similar skin color. We all know that. That’s not deluded or stupidity, either one.

So I’m not quite sure I grasp your logic here.

      • craigdp

The problem is that they’re not thinking critically – it’s not about race, it’s about competency.

    • http://hillaryorbust.blogspot.com Hillary or Bust

I can assure you, I am not an agent of the GOP and I run a pro-Hillary/anti-Obama blog. I am a woman who is seriously pissed off at the treatment of Hillary in this campaign. I also dislike Obama and find his cult-like following to be frightening.

I do not run my blog as a Republican disinformation campaign. I run it because I am fed up, pissed off, tired, and angry.

I have been a Democrat all my life, and even as a child I disliked Reagan and wanted Mondale to win the 1984 election even when I was only 14 and too young to vote. (My parents were into Reagan.)

I am passionate about my conviction that Hillary is the best candidate and Obama is the worst candidate. You can write that off as Republican disinfo but the bottom line is: I’m not voting for Obama without Hillary.

    • Emily Pickett

” You are in effect saying that fully one-half of the voters in the Democratic primaries are stupid or delusional or under the control of some conspirators. ”

      Yep. Some republicans are too.
      Delusional and/or stupid.

It’s the only explaination for them to vote for

    • mimi

How many people you figure have buyer’s remorse over voting for BO??? How do you figure that Caucus states really are a fair interpretation of what the majority of those people would do in a GE?

This is about ELECTABILITY. And what Hillary’s supporters are saying is that once the Repubs get to vote, Obama’s chances are nil.

I’m an AA and I can tell you, that alot of AAs will vote for Hillary if she were to be nominated. More than you can imagine. So why is this elite faction of white privileged voters so rabid and possessed about granting AAs their chance at a black president? Elitists who have been playing the race card during this Primary with a viciousness I’ve never seen and who have no real interest in the AA community and the problems we face.

These people are a minority. And Hillary’s supporters are trying to call attention to this. Obama is an inexperienced, unqualified, dirty politician. This is not the 1970′s when we could afford to gamble on something like this. We need someone who knows policy and Hillary is that person.

Spin it anyway you guys want, but thems the facts!!!

It is the two-party system that is destroying this country. Let whoever feels he is the best candidate run for presidency. Nobody should be pressured by peer or politics to support a party candidate just for the sake of conformity.

Mega-dollar is the backbone of politicians. Wealthy supporters can control a naive power-hungry politician, like Obama. In such short period of time he is in the public office, he & his wife are already enjoying the millions of dollars received from “interesting supporters”.He will do anything, to please this wealthy supporters, who are his advisers too.

Rumor has it that Keith Olbermann might be in meltdown mode over at MSNBC. His strange behavior is accelerating at BS-NBC.

    The Monday NY Post reports:

Is Keith Olbermann, MSNBC’s top-rated anchor, on the verge of yet another professional meltdown? His feuding with “Hardball” host Chris Matthews is nothing new. But now we’re told notoriously odd Olbermann is lashing out at the rest of his network’s talking heads. During West Virginia primary coverage the other night, Olbermann began pounding the table when lead White House reporter David Gregory didn’t wrap his segment quickly enough to satisfy him. Olbermann recently encouraged management to oust the cable channel’s lone conservative, Tucker Carlson, and it’s also no secret among producers that Olbermann refuses to introduce Dan Abrams’ show, which follows his own. Olbermann walked out of MSNBC years ago in a huff after also blowing up at ESPN, so TV insiders are curious if this recent behavior is a sign that history will repeat itself. MSNBC did not respond to our calls and e-mails seeking comment.

    Is Keith Over, Man?

Olberman is having a melt down? No surprise there.

Stafford, Va. – Osama bin Laden must be chuckling in his safe house. After all, the 2008 campaign could very well give Al Qaeda the ultimate propaganda tool: President Barack Hussein Obama, Muslim apostate.

The fact that Senator Obama – the son of a Muslim father – insists he was never a Muslim before becoming Christian is irrelevant to bin Laden. In bin Laden’s eyes, Obama is a murtad fitri, the worst type of apostate, because he was blessed by Allah to be born into the true faith of Islam.

There are two types of apostates according to sharia (Islamic law) and the Hadith (sayings of the prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him).

The first type is murtad milli,

This essay sums up what I’ve been thinking but trying hard not to believe: that Barack Obama’s run is simply a left-handed version of what the Republicans manuevered in the George Bush campaigns: the blank slate candidate offered up as the “answer” to all our problems, while the real operators are in the background pulling the strings. Remember the Neo-Cons? Flip it over and you get the “New Left.”

Ideologues are poison to a democratic system, particularly when they get into power. I offer the last 8 years as evidence. Worse yet? George Bush actually had more governing “experience” in 2000 than BO has now. Scary proposition!

This recent dialogue on talking face to face with terrorists without preconditions illustrates a major faultline in BO’s personality. Senator Clinton raised this issue months ago. But instead of admitting a real blooper, Obama stubbornly refuses to budge off the notion. Even his personal circle knows it’s a problem. Rice tried to come out and say that Barack never said what he clearly said and continues to say now.

Stubborn, arrogant, refuses to admit mistakes. Remind you of anyone?

I’ve been a lifelong Democrat and I’m a strong supporter of Senator Clinton. But if this man is foolishly given the Democratic nomination, I will the leave the Party for good. The Dems are in the process of committing political suicide. I will not be a part of it; I will not get in line. I may even do the unthinkable: vote for John McCain. At the very least, McCain is an honorable man and has proven himself to be a patriot in ways most of us can’t even imagine.

    • IndayHill

Peggy,IMO, we are the troops ready to bring justice to Senator Hillary Clinton, should the DNC leaders pick Obama,an unpatriotic, unknown candidate.
Because we love our beloved America, we are NOT GOING TO VOTE OBAMA.
Senator McCain is a public servant & a patriotic hero. He will get my vote.I feel safer with McCain than Obama.
      HILLARY FOR PRESIDENT!!

  • President Hillary Clinton will defeat Obama and his troll army!

The trolls get their strategy from the reality creators over at Obama central. Today’s warped reality includes:

1.) The faux fight with McCain as if Obama was the nominee based on Obama’s paranoia Bush’s remark was meant for him specifically.

2.) The MSM largly ignoring Hillary while she is poised to derail Obama once and for all in Kentucky.

3.) The victim card yet again as Obama tries to demand the media can only ask certain questions and his wife is off limits, ignoring the fact Obama has continually dragged Bill Clinton into this with the racism nonsense. That might work in the MSM/Obama universe but in the blogosphere we have that covered.

4.) The pitiful attempt to equate OR and KY when KY is the electoral map state. You can’t win the presidency without it.

5.) The toning down of the nominee victory celebration to something less meaningful and equally insignificant.

    Tomorrow night is gonna rock!

Did you guys see Hillary in KY today? She was extremely confident and relaxed and on her game. Obama looks burnt out and on auto-pilot like his trolls.

    Not A Serious Threat
    Jennifer Rubin – 05.19.2008 – 9:23 AM
This remarkable bit of footage from Barack Obama’s appearance in Oregon last night is now floating around on YouTube. It might be useful as an undergraduate course exam: how many errors can you spot? Obama apparently believes that Iran and other rogues states (he lists Iran, Cuba and Venezuela) “don’t pose a serious threat to the U.S.” Iran, specifically, he tells us spends so little on defense relative to us that if Iran “tried to pose a serious threat to us they wouldn’t . . . they wouldn’t stand a chance.”

So, taken literally, he seems not much concerned about Iran’s acquisition of nuclear weapons, its sponsorship of terrorist organizations, its commitment to eradicate Israel, its current actions in supplying weapons that have killed hundreds of Americans in Iraq, and its role in eroding Lebanon’s sovereignty through its client Hezbollah.

And then there is is unbridled faith in diplomacy, unaffected by the lessons of history. Was it presidential visits with the Soviet Union that brought down the Berlin Wall? Or was it the 40 year history of bipartisan military deterrence, the willingness of Ronald Reagan to walk away from Reykjavik summit, the resulting bankruptcy of the Soviet Empire, the support of dissidents and freedom fighters in the war against tyranny, and the willingness to identify Communism as a center of evil in the late 20th century?

You can understand why every attempt by John McCain to discuss global threats is labeled “fear-mongering” by Obama. In his world this is all a fantasy and we are not at risk. All perfectly logical . . . if you divorce yourself from reality.

Seeking to capitalize on his recent success proving that he is a World Class Appeaser, Barack Obama has inked a deal with a prominent athletic shoe company for a new line of footwear for feckless diplomats. The new model in the Err Obama line is The Strike Force Appeaser.

A small but vocal advocacy group, The Sons of Churchill, filed a formal complaint with the Federal Trade Commission to have a warning label placed on the shoes. The proposed warning: “If these Strike Force Appeaser shoes are misused by kicking some ass, they will fall apart and be useless.”

The agency quickly rebuffed the suggestion, noting that the Appeaser was not designed to be useful in the first place, so it was not a misrepresentation.

The Sons of Churchill, vowed to appeal the decision, and issued a statement.

“We will never surrender. We will never give up. We will fight them on the beach. We will fight them in the country. We will fight them in the city. We will fight them in the alleys. We will fight them to the edge of the empire, but we will never, never, Never, Never, NEVER SURRENDER!”

The author should e-mail it to him. He’d love it.

  • Catriley

An excellent, excellent, analysis. I hate to go all Area 51 too, but I’ve really been intrigued by the NLP aspect of his campaign, his speeches, and his website. All of it is definitely designed to recruit most of the groups CRAIG DELLA PENNA mentions there.

Just as Bush was able to rally the Country around him for a while after 9/11, Obama is able to pull in these lost souls now, in these troubled times. They want something to beleive in — whether it’s real or not.

Look at Obama’s site “Join the MOVEMENT” Movement? What movement? I thought it was a candidate? What is he pushing for? Change? A new style of politics? But.. he’s surrounded by the same old Democrats, he’s funded by the same old corporate fat fats and lobbyists, his entire message is crafted and recycled by the same old tired middle aged white guys. A super delegate in my State endorsed Obama today and actually had the nerve to cite the reason as “I read his books and watched his speeches” No, seriously. Not a word about his having an ounce of what it would take to navigate this war, this economy, and climate challenge. He mentioned books and speeches. Well.. the funny thing is that he doesn’t write his own speeches, and there is much talk about his fictionalizing so much in his books and having help with them.

    It’s a cult. Period.

Oh, I hope Bill and Hillary do just that. I don’t know if I can stand to see her out stumping for Obama, it will break my heart and I still will not vote for Obama.

Can the Democratic Party be saved? I wonder, if Hillary is the democratic nominee do you think Clintons will be able to get control of the Democratic party and bring it back? I wish we could start the party and have it ready.

A lot of people are leaving or have already left the Obama/Democratic Party. There will be a lot more of us out there free floating if Obama get nominated. If we had a party ready, we could ask Hillary to lead our ticket. If we start the party ourselves it might be easier to get Hillary to agree.

Your commentary reflects exactly what history tells us, over and over, about the messiah movements that take place when political vacumns occur. After the catastrophe that is Bush, many people are looking for some manner of savior who will bring….CHANGE. Never mind that the messiah figure does not specifically outline this change except in the vaguest terms. The messiah manipulators will loudly affirm that this ephemeral CHANGE will be blessed and therefore good for all. It’s difficult to combat this tactic. The only ray of hope I see is that at least some Americans are better informed than previous generations.

  • Andrew

Words puked onto the page here. I mean seriously man, its amazing you can believe Obama is the kind of dangerous content-free incompetent you portray him to be. Have you read his writings? Listened to what his colleagues and students have to say about him?

“Obama and GWB also have much in common with other historical tyrants: complete and adamantine belief in their ability to surmount any obstacle, appease any enemy, attain any objective without the slightest knowledge of the subject and in the absence of a plan of any kind.”

This is just off the wall. Just think about the political history of this election. Which candidate planned for all contingencies? Which candidate didn’t?

The snark about Bill Richardson being sucked up and used dry? Bill Richardson who might be VP and will almost certainly be in an Obama cabinet? I mean get your slanders right at least!

  • Susan

Wow is all I can say. You have nailed it.I’m so glad you know how to say and see what a lot of us are thinking. I’m for the Area fifty one plan. Hillary needs to drop the Democrats like a hot rock. They don’t care about her. You are also right about the ground swell that is begining to rise of women and some men of Hillary supporters who don’t want Obama and will vote for Mccain if she is not available. Ihave written to her to beg her and Bill to leave the Democrats. Obama is nothing and is totally being groomed by the powers that be that we know nothing about. Yes I remember Bill Richardson he is hardly recognizable and half the time he speaks he looks as if he’s inpain by the the total crap he is spewing. My god I can only hope that hillary will leave and if she is offered the vice Presidency my hope is she will not except it.

  • Prem

Great analysis—-have had similar thoughts like this but haven’t been able to articulate them so eloquently as your article. Love the “Area 51″ scenario. Many have said it is way over due for a 3rd party to emerge—why not now? Have been thinking about possible names for a new party, too. Centrist Progressive Party? I do hope Hillary, if she is not the Dem. nominee, will not accept the VP slot, too. She, along with the Dem. party, could go down in flames if Obama is the nominee once the Republican attack machine gets through with him—unpatriotic, domestic terrorism, etc. Thanks for your insightful analysis.

First, the Clintons are brilliant and knowledgeable, but they’re only two people, and they don’t have the kind of godlike power it would take to win an election against the dems and reps.
But I have another take on the situation we’re in, and it’s not so catastrophic. I think Obama can win the ge, with all the political capital we have. But he’ll waste a ton, and it’s a sad day when someone so ignorant and unprincipled is taking the democratic nomination.

Obama – The Postmodern Coup: Making of a Manchurian Candidate

    by Webster Griffin Tarpley (Author)

    Book Description:
Barack Obama is a deeply troubled personality, the megalomaniac front man for a postmodern coup by the intelligence agencies, using fake polls, mobs of swarming adolescents, super-rich contributors, and orchestrated media hysteria to short-circuit normal politics and seize power. Obama comes from the orbit of the Ford Foundation, and has never won public office in a contested election. His guru and controller is Zbigniew Brzezinski, the deranged revanchist and Russia-hater who dominated the catastrophic Carter presidency 30 years ago. All indications are that Brzezinski recruited Obama at Columbia University a quarter century ago. Trilateral Commission co-founder Brzezinski wants a global showdown with Russia and China far more dangerous for the United States than the Bush-Cheney Iraq adventure. Obama’s economics are pure Skull & Bones/Chicago school austerity and sacrifice for American working families, all designed to bail out the bankrupt Wall Street elitist financiers who own Obama. Obama’s lemming legions and Kool-Aid cult candidacy hearken back to Italy in 1919-1922, and raise the question of postmodern fascism in the United States today. Obama is a recipe for a world tragedy. No American voter can afford to ignore the lessons contained in this book.

Spooky synchronicity to Craig’s article. Had thought this afternoon how bo camp has basically 4 components, pretty much as described in above piece. Also just wrote the campaign that Hillary must not team with him on any ticket and how many of us would vote for her as Independent, if he steals the party, we’ll leave the party.

Also posted yesterday a name for new party: CENTRIST

What differs is, based on my research, and today’s piece:

    http://www.Rezkowatch.com

carefully lays out how this has all been planned for a long time; Dean was in on it from this start, tactics were planned well in advance – AND some may call this Bolshevik but in our era with this candidate, it is rather a muslim takeover – I like that ATTEMPTED HOSTILE TAKEOVER.

Well known that muslims top recruiting demographic in US is young black Americans. Also known bo campaigned for his muslim/sharif pact cousin odinga in kenya – on his “Senate” trip, 2006, used his oration to rev up the people against their democracy, calling it corrupt (sound familiar). … more to that relationship will be made known later.

57 states was not a flub but a recall – of the 57 muslim states he knows (and likes) better than US. MUST SEE LINK:

When in Michigan last Wednesday, with no time to answer Q of what he’ll do for auto workers, had a carefully planned cozy meeting with a cohort to leader of Hezbollah, even given a book “American Crescent” Now that’s a flag this terrorist -cover- illusionist-wolf in sheeps clothing-candidate can really relate to.

Suggest go to above link of this meeting and send it to ALL you know….consider that MSM tonight is abuzz with whether he really would meet with terror leaders, when they don’t know OR WON’T REPORT HE ALREADY IS DOING SO right here on US soil! Please spread this vital information.

“OK, it gets a little ‘Area 51’ here so be warned.”

I have been wracking my brains for the last 5 or 6 months trying to figure out why hopefully rational accomplished politicians in the Democratic Party would be supporting Barack Obama for POTUS. This phrase turned on a light bulb for me. But it’s probably what most people would consider even farther out than what Mr della Penna is suggesting.

As a lifelong resident of the SW US, I am absolutely convinced of the existence of the extremely advanced technology for which Area 51 is renowned. Based on random things that I have seen and heard, I am also convinced that the US and the British have a special agreement concerning this technology. A lot of the information and disinformation over the years related to the subject suggests that control of the technology is only quasi-governmental.

So? Perhaps the corporate and governmental entities controlling this technology for some reason don’t trust the Clintons. It is my impression that Bill Clinton’s problems started about one year after his first term started and I remember a trip he made to Los Alamos about that time. (That probably doesn’t mean a thing to most people, but these days I trust my own personal experience and impressions much more than anything anyone in the media tells me).

Anyway, the people controlling this technology would definitely be in the category of New Bolsheviks.

This rationale for the seemingly irrational opposition to the candidacy of Hillary Clinton by some of the Democratic elite also is consistent with Lyndon LaRouche’s conspiracies. Maybe these New World Order people think they have to get the entire globe under their control before they unleash this technology. Who knows?

In any case, for me Area 51 is, in fact, one plausible explantion for what otherwise makes no sense at all.

But doesn’t a third party take years to get on enough ballots?

And the CLintons are too loyal to do it. Ferraro as surrogate?

But moveon.org began in the impeachment to support Bill and moderates — and look what happened to it. Except during eletions, don’t moderate centrists go back to their real lives, leaving the organization (whatever it is) to the fanatics?

Maybe we could try the moveon sort of thing again — not to get on ballots, but to be a rallying point that could last a few years. “No Obama in 2012 either”?

  • anon

This is fascinating and also the beginnings of what I’ve been swirling in my head. Interestingly my unease with the Obama website seems to mesh perfectly into this theory.

On his website there is a creepy background graphic. It only flashes between page loads, so it’s sort of subliminal:
    http://www.barackobama.com/images/bg.jpg

My guess is it’s the Obama take on the Great Seal of the U.S.
(see that graphic here: http://www.greatseal.com/symbols/index.html )

Now, I don’t really know a whole lot about the Great Seal, but look at the Obama graphic, really study it. It’s eerie, creepy, and perverse. It is the Great Seal, basically, but DISMANTLED.

It has all the elements but it has been deconstructed, and is slapped over with an Obama logo.

Notice the olive branches and arrows have been dropped and are strewn about. And that the flag/armor is pierced with one of the arrows. There is a cloud of smoke surrounding the elements. And it’s almost as if the eagle looks like a vulture. The eagle is usually supposed to be facing forward, and looking in the direction of the olive branch, but it’s turned it’s back, and is looking over its shoulder — it looks like the eagle/vulture is about to fly off, leaving destruction in its wake.

To me the more I look at it, the more disturbing it seems, especially in tandem with your article here. It seems to match the ominous underlayers of what a lot of people might feel but can’t articulate well, and what you have posed here.

It just doesn’t seem like the graphic is an accident, but rather, it’s meant to communicate something very specific, and subliminal.

    • ziggy

So what’s creepy about the Obama logo? Red, white & blue of the flag? That there’s a letter O, which happens to be an initial? (It is a campaign logo, after all.) That the red stripes visually echo the farmland of the American heartland, or maybe American land won and defended with the blood of partiots? That there’s a morning sun rising in the background? Why does the eagle bother us? It’s our national symbol. In the fainter background image the eagle has been turned to face the sunrise, poised for flight. That’s a deliberate message. E pluribus unum? Out of many, one. That’s us, alright. Us being Americans.

        What’s creepy?

Well for starters, toodles, neither That One nor you, apparently know the first thing about patriotism. As one who grew up in a largely black community, and has dated several black men, I’m telling you now that Obama is a player…a true narcissist who can’t even see the harm that he’s doing, in fact, he may even enjoy the chaos that’s he’s created. He didn’t even smile when he declared himself the nominee. You’d think he’d be happy, wouldn’t you?

I’m sure the Republicans will be able to dig something up on him to keep him from getting to the convention in August. God, I hope so!

    • MJ HUSSEIN

YOU RACIST WHITE PIECE OF TRASH. GOOD THING MOST BLACK MEN DO NOT DEAL WITH YOU SKANKY WHITE BROADS. HOW ARE YOU GOING TO JUDGE EVERY BLACK MAN? What the hell are you hanging out with black men for anyway to get a piece of that big black d**k because your white men can’t hang in the bedroom?

I guess you po white trash could not live amongst the white folks so you endeared yourself to the black community. They accepted your po arse and now you want to diss them. Thanks a lot.

I guess you must be peeing in your pants because the rethugs could not dig up jacksh*t on our Barack Hussein Obama.

The only chaos that has been created is by the rethugs running this country into the ground.

And of course, Israel is a monolithic entity, just like America, right, we all look alike?

Really simple thinking there, you sure you’re ready for that level of ball, curve?

    But really go for it.

Problem is again, the reason Israel succeeded, despite the Sharons and military fiasco’s et al is because it is chock FULL of brilliant thinkers, too, something most tend to miss, thinkers who vehemently reject Sharon’s methods, and will go to the mat, to fight him.

Despite being a small nation, it’s best thinkers are on par with the English, and , wait for it, even some Americans.

It’s the quality of intellect that ultimately defines success, not the weaponry, I mean look at the turd that is Obama, and his group.

They control the MSM, and they’re still losing, still losing, still unable to grasp the troll, same with Bush, Cheney and Iraq.

Neocons have more in common with Putin, than with Americans, just like Sharon has more in common with certain faction of the English military, than Israel.

You can’t fit thought into neat little boxes when forming theory, many try, and those who do, fail.

  • http://deleted AnninCA

That’s OK to me. So are Obama people welcome.

All voices are OK, except the insulting nasty ones to me, anyway.

This is a pro-Hillary blog, and we’re truly transparent and about free speech here.

Unlike the places that support Obama. Their tactics are mirrored by his tactics, so it’s funny to me that now he’s cutting off their funds. Karma. Gotta love it.

and we don’t care what you call us.

and you’re not changing anyone’s mind.

so why are you wasting your time.

  • Tom Plumb

Ok, I’ll take it a step further, the neocon Israeli, and American, have far more in common politically with Putin, say, than with America, or Israel, the democracies from which they originated.

BUT, given the internationalism of our day, multiculturalism, if you will, how do you think an ideological alliance between those groups, and Putin, say, would flesh out, positive and negative, what would drive it?

And I say this as the neocons took control of both the American and Israeli governments, in America through questionable means, they cheated.

What are the indications, world wide?

I think it’s all driven by greed and corruption.

Neocons are hardly emblematic of Jeffersonian values, you know, the values that win…

  • http://deleted AnninCA

Doesn’t matter. I judge all posts on the content of the individual post. Some of the trolls make good points once in a while.

And a lot of Republican points are legitimate, particularly in this very odd year.

I think for myself, so nobody really bothers me. Either the piece is an opinion, and the person is entitled to it as I am to mine. Or if it’s a fact-oriented piece, I like back-up data to judge the quality of the analysis.

About the only trolls that really bother me are the disruptive types.

This time he’s right, though. This is navel gazing stuff. Not even scientifically backed up.

It’s very easy to come up with a model, and shape a belief around it (case in point, “global warming” datasets). But until this is evaluated years from now (when the whole show is done, and sanity returns), there’s no evidence but wishful thinking now.

I’m not saying the Obamatics aren’t a cult group, but to break this down as a “scientific” answer (and borrowing it “handily” from a Creationist retort), not only shows amateurism, it shows that this quote is true…

A famous mathematical physicst von Neumann said “If you allow me four free parameters I can build a mathematical model that describes exactly everything that an elephant can do. If you allow me a fifth free parameter, the model I build will forecast that the elephant will fly.”

Anyone can market a theory, and idea, but only a few will ever stand the test of time — because too many are made by folks who want to believe something is true, when the data doesn’t show it.

Come up with a 40 year double-blind tracking survey — with good controls and monitoring — and then I’ll concede the point. Until then, this is but a lick thumb, put it into the air, and track which direction the wind (publicity) is blowing.

A little more science in “political science” is needed here, something called the scientific method.

  • LandOLincoln
