2 ships deemed ‘unfit’ for combat

Most of the missiles couldn’t be fired, and neither could any of the big guns. The Aegis radars key to the ships’ fighting abilities didn’t work right.

The flight decks were inoperable.

Most of the lifesaving gear failed inspection.

Corrosion was rampant, and lube oil leaked all over.

The verdict: “unfit for sustained combat operations.”
“This is worse than I remember seeing,” a recently retired surface flag officer said after reading the reports of InSurv inspections conducted in March aboard the Norfolk, Va.-based destroyer Stout and the Pearl Harbor, Hawaii-based cruiser Chosin. “I don’t remember seeing two that stood out like these.”

Our ships aren’t ready to attack anyone according to a recent Military Times artice.

Good luck with the notion that BO knows a darn thing about Pakistan. He was a tourist years ago, and two days ago proved he is ignorant even to what languages are spoken in the region.

Good luck with that illusion, I know, that was the ONLY reason, way back when, that I would ever vote for BO. But you see if you let a criminal, (yes I said it, he has commited criminal acts,) reside at Motel 1600, he will nominate individuals that he believes to be in HIS JUDGEMENT, to be qualified.

The problem with that train of thought is; his judgement on anything he has done SUCKS.

At the end of the day BOB, Senator Obama is incapable as seen by his actions, of doing what the author of this open letter suggests.

Protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.

He has been given numerous oppertunies to show by action, words or deeds and failed in all respects to honor this Oath.

It is this salient point you do not understand.
Senators Clinton and McCain have this proven trait in common. What ever differences one may percieve, I will not be guilted or otherwise “told” that if this is my bottomline concern I am a racist typical white person.

My daughter asked me last night who is going to “clean up” after GW’s mess as we sat in the local ER witnessing the inhuman travisty that is healthcare today in the US.

I was struck by your reference to the similarity of the Soviet papers and the condition of the “free press” in this country. The consequence of silence and censorship is an America that exists no more.
Tyranny,Anarchy and War are the aims of those who lust after power without regard to any Oath taken.

And the controlled press is a huge problem.
