Why are you so blind to the electoral vote that Obama is sure to lose in November? For over 30 years I have worked for this (MY) party and its principles. I lived in blue states (NY and CT) but travelled to PA and OH to volunteer in our GOTV efforts. I celebrated our victories with Bill Clinton in the 90′s. And I have watched in horror as we have fielded Dukakis and Kerry. As someone who has worked side by side with my African American friends for their civil rights, I am now horrified to be discounted as a racist by my own party for my support of Hillary Clinton. I was undecided bw her and Obama until the past 6 weeks. I have seen so much to like in both of them. But I now believe that she is our strongest candidate. Her experience and her appeal to a broader spectrum of voters across our nation, coupled with the Obama (and DNC’s) dismissal of that same broad spectrum indicates that she has a much better opportunity of succeeding in the general election. The super-delegates were created for just this scenario. Additionally, MI AND FL must be seated in their entirety. Otherwise, we have no chance of defeating McCain. It is hard for me to say this, but as someone who has worked hard for our party for decades, I will no longer be able to do so if we field yet another candidate who is cannot be elected. Obama is Dukakis is Kerry. The Clinton years were good ones and you should be ashamed of discounting them and her. And you will reap what you sow if you ignore Michigan and Florida. I will not vote for Obama if he is the nominee. It pains me to say that – but I would rather have McCain for 4 years and purge our party of the leadership that brought us to such a fiasco.

Please support Hillary Clinton for president.She needs the support of the superdelagates, especially those SD’s whose constituents voted for her. She s the most qualified candidate and represents our best hope in ending the war responsibly and re-establishing a strong economy for working class Americans. I supported your run for office with time and money and hope you appreciate how loyal I am to Senator Clinton. I feel the democratic party has been complicit in the forcing of a candidate down our throats and feel little loyalty to the party and it leadership. I feel it is important that America end the Bush nightmare, but fear the party has given us yet another Republican victory in 2008 if Obama is nominee. As a protest of the way DNC, equivocating SD’s and the media have handled this primary, My vote will go to McCain if Clinton is not the nominee. I have volunteered and financed the democratic party for 21 years, have not always agreed, but stuck by. This is not a threat, just a very sad reality for me. Please Congressman Wilson, do the right thing for the country, Ohioans and the democratic party and support the candidate your constituency supported, the most electable democrat and the best candidate, Hillary Clinton.
