The Shrieking of Obamatons

Wow. Why is it that women get the rap for being a bunch of hysterical whiners, when guys like Senator Obama and his staff are the ones going all wobbly? I’m referring to the latest effort of the Obama crowd to manufacture an incident out of Senator Clinton’s comment that she is staying in the race because we know from history that the reality in June is not the reality in August. Senator Clinton noted in passing the historic fact that Bobby Kennedy was shot and killed in California in June of 1968 and that changed what happened at the convention. She also commented that her husband had not wrapped up the nomination until June.

So the Obama crowd is wetting itself and wailing that Clinton is implying Obama should be shot. Jesus, Joseph, and Mary! So if Hillary makes reference to the bombing of Hiroshima in August of 1945 does that mean she wants to nuke the convention? The weaklings and cowards that surround Obama never cease to amaze me. They flail at the littlest imagined slight and throw a conniption because Hillary has the audacity to mention a historic fact. Anyone who suggests that Hillary is trying to suggest or encourage the notion that Obama be shot is a sick sociopath. She has lived with the burden of Secret Service detail and knows all to well the threat political candidates face. And, most importantly, she is not the kind of person to wish harm for other people.

And for the Obama naiton who want this contest to end now–Well too damn bad. Obama is not the nominee, nor is Hillary, until the delegates meet in Denver and actually cast votes. Given the lack of vetting about Obama’s past I think it is wise that the Democrats leave themselves some room before making up their minds. This much is certain–neither Barack nor Hillary have won enough votes in elections and caucuses to be nominated. The outcome now depends on Super Delegates. And Super Delegates ought to make their decision on who gives the Democrats the best chance to win against McCain. If you think things are set in stone and nothing will change before the convention, then you live in a fantasy world. Would somebody get the Obama crybabies a hankie?

        This is so typical of Hillary’s supporters – NOW its HER turn to be misconstrued – she apologized and its over. You are just showing how lacking you are in any subject to attack Obama with.

        And, the fact is, she has talked about people asking her to get out of the race and used exactly the same Bobby Kennedy-assassinated-june reference TWO times prior to today. Today she uses the excuse that she has been thinking of the Kennedy’s a lot lately. What about the other two times???

          AS a result of being a mental midget you would not be aware of this.

          Many here in New England have been thinking of the Kennedy’s for the last few days – because Ted Kennedy was diagnosed with a malignant, cancerous brain tumor. The local radio stations, including NPR, have been having shows, where people call in and tell their personal “Kennedy” stories.

          As my family was a “Kennnedy” family I have many good stories to tell about them. However, I chose not to.

          But a chance meeting happened today. My aunt in Mass. wanted to go to a bookstore today. So I took her to a Border’s Store near her house. We ran into Tom O’Neil, TIP O’Neil’s son. We sat for awhile, and Tom shared his story about Ted getting a Doctor who practiced at Brigham Woman’s to take charge of his fathers cancer treatment.

          The Clinton’s also have many personal “Kennedy” stories.

          And I’ll make my prediction – Ted will most likely not accept major treatment – so it is a time of rememberance here in New England.

          The Clintonns vactioned for many years on Martha’s vineyard – just offshore from the Kennedy’s.

          So take you arsine attitude and shove where the sun does not shine.

          Why do KNOW NOTHINGS like you feel you can spew venom indicriminatey without anything resembling facts?

          We all complain about the American so called media, and I am starting to realize it perfectly mirrors the mental shallowness the ObamaZoids exhibit daily!

            What is this all about? I have no idea why you are lecturing me about this – I simply said that Hillary has made the comment about the primaries and decision going until June and the Kennedy assassination in June more than once. And today she said she made the comparison as she has been thinking of the Kennedy’s lately, as we all have, I’m sure. So my question is, why did she made the same comparison before as Edward Kennedy’s illness was not an issue then so she was probably not just ‘thinking about the Kennedy family’ at that time.
            I certainly was not disparaging the Kennedy family at all – I was at the Ambassador Hotel when Bobby was shot (was working for the McCarthy campaign at that time)and that event is particularly painful for me. As I said, at best, Senator Clinton was insensitive in her remarks and many people (not myself) did take her remarks differently and were offended. And it was not Obama-he has not said a word about this.

          I am still scratching my head as to why she apologized for cripes sake. I heard the complete interview on the video before all this foolishness broke. It was in the context of the story she was telling about the primaries in the past that went until June. All you Obama people, give it a rest…as someone else said, Obama has compared himself in the past has to slain individuals.               A friend of mine who also supports Hillary is upset everytime Hillary apologizes. She always says something “WHY did she apologize again, HE wouldn’t apologize for anything so it makes her look like she is the one making all the mistakes.” I see her point but disagree. The proper thing to do is to smooth over errors you make or things you say that might be offensive to some or used against you even if not really ammo.

              That ob uses “gotcha” is crass.

              That hillary apologizes is class.

              She is presidential and diplomatic but most of all she is secure in who she is.

              He is just arrogant and is afraid he will look even more weak than he is.

              Everyone knows the anniversary of Bobby’ death is in June. That is only two weeks away. I think of the Kennedy’s often. They are part of most democrats lives, especially us older dems. I saw nothing wrong in her remark. For one thing it was a truth and a way to remember Bobby. I often think of that June night. And we are in the middle of a campaign.

              I wonder what our world would have been like if he had not been assassinated.
              I know he would have been the president.

There are many, many examples of primaries going into June without having to reference an assassination. I can’t believe that anyone would defend that statement. It is reprehensible…just like the other comments she has made about “white” working class, etc. Well, I’m white working class and also a woman who the media says should be supporting Senator Clinton. But, there is no way that I could support someone who would stop at nothing for the power of the presidency. There is nothing she wouldn’t do and that is sickening.

            There wasn’t a mean intention in that statement what-so-ever. I was surprised when I listened to it. I thought maybe there was a tone of voice or something to make everyone so upset. But when I actually listened to it, she innocently was trying to describe the convention process time line. In doing so, she mentioned Bobby Kennedy. I took it as her explaining why he didn’t get to the convention floor…because he was shot and killed. It was just a fact check. Nothing more was intended. Knowing and watching Hillary for a long time now, I know she is comepletely innocent of these charges against her.
            The griping is all about the distraction strategy to throw Hillary off of her game. Hillary is winning landslides and people are speaking loud and clear that they want Hillary. Funny though. She looked upset about Teddy being ill. Hillary is very sensitive. She has a big heart and loves deeply.
            Even though Teddy endorsed Obama over her, she still looked concerned and worried about him.
            I don’t see that I can say the same about Obama.
            He is Obvlivous (with a capital O) to Teddy’s plight. Obama is such a poser.
            Move along now. Puerto Rico will pull through for Senator Clinton. You can bet on that. And she will take ALL the delegates!!!

          It was startling and got attention. You can tell the real quality of each news outlet by how they handled it.

    WTF ??? Someone actually took offense becasue she metions RFK today when talking about primary campaigns going in to June? That is as bad, or worse than saying Hillary slighted MLK with her LBJ remark. Have we become that PC that we can’t even hold ANY kind of discussion and state facts?           Even if happened exactly the way they say, the speech was superseded by his later remarks that his position on Iraq was pretty much the same as Bush’s. And I do believe that he has consistently voted in support of the war, not “present” as he does on reproductive rights issues.

          Apart from being an out and out lie (Bill had the nomination wrapped up in March) and historically inaccurate (June on 1968′s political calendar is more equivalent to this year’s March), it is an unforgivable reference to make. She’s out of compelling reasons to stay in this race, so now she’s in it just in case Obama gets assassinated like RFK?

If Hillary succeeds in her apparently pathological pursuit of an office she seems to think is owed to her, I will be forced to not only leave the party but also actively support any non-Republican who challenges her for any office.

              Hillary says purpose was historical instances of candidates staying in race until late in primaries… In 1968: Dem Race was only 3 months along…

              New Hampshire, first in nation, wasn’t until March 12. Kennedy didn’t even get into running until March 16. By June 4, 1968, date of California primary, there had only been 13 primaries… Kennedy was killed on June 5…

        Saw two segments of Obama accusations against Lou. Kitty went on to explain how wrong Obama was on illegals being discriminated, and so wrong compared to FBI hate crime stats, too.

        The segment on this article topic was nice, too. Zimmerman was the most logical guy on the three guy panel. The Obama supporter was Moonie material, and really focusing on the RFK statement = ASSASSINATION!!. Ed Rollins was being more PC, but even agreed, Hillary didn’t purposely said what the Obama pundit was claiming.

        Get cable or satellite. The only thing I watch on TV now is news, weather and documentaries. Can’t wait for pay-per-channel broadcasting, no more liking but 10 channels and paying for 190 worth of trash.

    I just watched Mark Shields go almost apoplectic because Hillary mentioned that Bobby Kennedy was assassinated in June. He said that she intentionally made the reference and had to be held accountable. His jowls were bouncing up and down. It was really a sight. Shields has jowls even larger than Nixon’s. And those were some big jowls.

    I remember years ago when Rich Little did an album about the Watergate break in. According to Little it was a wall print of Nixon’s jowls that got them caught.

    I find the claims especially disturbing because they refer to threats made by the political elite. I was on another pro-Hillary site earlier this afternoon, and someone there was whining “oh, woe is us, Hillary made a dumb mistake, oh, how I wish she hadn’t said that.” I’m not sure whether she was an actual Hillary supporter or one of the pretend ones that are inundating pro-Hillary sites to lead us into the light.

How sad it is that the only thing Obama seems competent at is bamboozling. These tactics will work only if we let them.

    The only mistake Hillary really made is that she failed to point out how early Kerry locked up the nomination, and what a disastrous candidate he turned out to be. If only one of the others (not Dean) had hung in there and beaten him at the convention; we might have been spared these last four years of Bush. And if Hillary can hang in there and beat Obama at the convention, we can be spared four years of George W. Obama or John McCain.

    Therefore, I say to those who see this attitude as a complete barrier to the success of the opponent (Obama), you don’t win them over by telling them that they need you and must come to you because that’s the way it’s always been. They will laugh in your face. They are the generation that’s lived to prove that they can do it on their own or will die trying.

    Rather, you have to find what matters to them: their daughters and granddaughters, as well as their sons and grandsons.

    Then, you can’t break the trust. The issues that are in common and the methods for addressing them have to be followed through on, at all levels. From now through and after the general election.

    It’s actually really very simple: strategists and advisors figure out how to target and microtarget all the time.

    This situation should be viewed as exactly the same thing, but the tactics that will be used to address this group? Those may have to be as unprecedented as anything else we’ve seen in the last 17 months.

      This won’t work with me. I once went to an EST event and before the evening was over, I managed to get 2 EST people into a knockdown drag out fight as they try to convert me. The key: IGNORE THEM! It’s really so simple. If you engage, you are letting your own ego show and therefore they know they can manipulate you.     Anyone who watches the full interview will see she was talking in the context of the primary races that have gone through to June. She mentions her husband didn’t secure the nomination until June. She then said that we all (meaning the ones at the table who are all old enough to remember) remember that it was June when RFK was assasinated. She’s talking about the fact that anyone who is old enough to remember, remembers that it was June when he was killed. We will never forget it. It’s called a flashbulb memory. Just like we will never forget that his brother was killed in November or that we were attacked on September 11. These memories remain with us forever. The key word in her remark is JUNE. She was making a historical reference to say that he was still running in June and we know that because we will never forget that day.

    I will say this all these pundits are so interested in being politically correct except when it comes to ms.Clinton then it is a free for all anything goes thing. I will say this. They are helping to divide Americans into the us vs them camp. Ms Clinton suddenly becomes the incarnation of evil while Obama is extolled for his “virtues”Anything Ms. Clinton will say would be viewed with suspicion and cynicism anyway. The pundits and media have already made up their mind about who they want as the presidential candidate so they want to push Ms. Clinton out as she is seen as a nuisance.     I think people are smart enough and are usually turned off by ridiculous attacks like this on Hillary Clinton.The problem with the Obama crowd is they are so confident they will win the nomination and the presidency they think they got it cinched. They say pride goes before the fall. So I guess if McCain beats Obama in November,that may be a lesson in humility for them. Really do you think. Some media outlets went way overboard trying to draw ratings, a bland statement was issued by the Obama campaign (probably prompted by the same media outlets), and practically every comment section of every article on the subject is filled entirely with angry Hillery/McCain supporters screaming about the awful things Obama and his supporters said? Be angry at the MEDIA but don’t assume that somehow all Obama supporters agree with the way they have reported this. There are practically NO comments about this from Obama supports anywhere – and he has made no statement at all. Your outrage is feeding on itself, and I have to wonder how many republican trolls are posting to fan the flames.

    I went on YouTube to watch KO’s special comment (I will not watch his show anymore). I only made it through 1 minute and had to go puke. Who does he think he is? What a pompous ass. I honestly think he believes he speaks for this country. I guess he thinks his opinion is more important than that of Bobby Kennedy, Jr. in this case.

    Of course it doesn’t matter. No one except Obama supporters watch his show now anyway, so he is preaching to the choir. He is a true nutcase and should be taken off the air.

    I’d also like to mention that Senator Obama and his wife have made many supid and insulting comments and have never once made a sincere apology for them. Senator Clinton was very quick to give a sincere and hearfelt apology for any distress her words might have caused. This shows the difference in character between the 2 of them.

    I think in this hard fought contest with its share of nefarious people and the dirty campaign by Obama and his minions including DNC and the media, the most important message of all is getting completely lost — who can beat the republicans in Nov? It is clear that Obama cannot but this has become an American idol type of contest for all his supporters. As a comment posted at riverdaughter illustrates, Clinton is RFK and has the masses and can win the presidency but the Gene MacCarthy aka Obama crowd of elites can’t let their ego go to accept that fact. I think, they will do anything to finish her off in this race even jeopardize the win in November. She holds RFK’s senate seat in NY and perhaps can’t but think of that primary and his come from behind win in CA in June which would have clinched the nomination for him.     This repeated Anything can happen sounded puzzling and mysterious.

    What are they anticipating? So Hillary’s blunder of making more than one references to the RFK assassination was not well received.

    Besides, we now know that staying in the race in June in 1968, is like staying in the primary race in September in 2008

    An apology was in order, and not just to the Kennedy
    family but to Obama as well.

    Why did she use an example that was jst so explosive. It at the very least shows poor judgement. She’s not fit to hold executive office.
