The pathological part is correct.

I don’t think this guy can love anyone. He’s wired with hate and negativity and his inferiority complex is exhausting to watch.

He certainly is not typical in any way re: gay men. He’s a social loser to be sure, whose smugness is unbearable.

Agree. I have no idea why he has an audience. Perhaps he attracts a kind of cantankerous group think. His base is fundamentally gay, but this creep can never figure out if he’s a conservative, or as he’s often said, “conservatively gay”.

He’s posing as the intellectual keeper of conservative ideology. And he always contradicts himself. Also he’s wired, tired, and over.

Sullivan is a well known woman baiter/hater.

He is generally rude,crude,sarcastic, and loaded with chutspah. His negativity and pretentious affectations are a turnoff. His latest bit about Palin is absurd.

First, who cares? Then, this is no one’s business.
While I am opposed to her loopy rightwingnut positions, Palin has the right to her opinion.

Sullivan is irritating and uninportant, and I’ve seen him take off with a LOT of hate railing against Hillary Clinton. He’s an angry schmuck.

Betty, I think you’re on to something. Maybe Sullivan once fell desperately, pathologically in love with a straight man and blames all women for losing the love of his life.

It’s also possible that, like many neurotics, Andrew Sullivan hates his mother.

But please, above all, remember that Andrew Sullivan is not typical of gay men — at all!

Not even a poor fly looking for raw meat to it’s eggs on and happens to wander onset an interview with Obama isn’t below these freaks who want to prop Obama up. My biggest question has always been what do these freaks have to gain from denying thefact obama is destroying the country. The people he’s gonna bitch slap the hardest are the main ones with their heads in the sand. Oh well I’ve known for quite some time how illogical my fellow country men are. But it’s annoying as hell.

Yes, Tex-Mex, I had a similar experience with a colleague. My mistake was to think that as a gay man he was an ally of sorts, but unfortunately, his misogyny came out in so many passive aggressive ways. In all honesty, Obama reminds me so much of him. It’s quite eerie. I think there are gay men who are political allies to women, and then there are those who abhor women. Sullivan is a prime example. (Of course, there are lots in between, but my point is that misogyny does exist in in some quarters of the gay community.)
