There were other camps besides Auschwitz… I’m sure your going “name one then”: The Majdanek concentration camp in the city of Lubin is one and others are: Ravensbrock, Dachau, and Bergen-Belsen. However, these were not inside major German cities thus were not all liberated by the soviets…but i guess like your govenor palin you are unable to get into details when put on the spot outside of broad swaths of misleading generalizations.

That’s only 5-8% more than living blacks that survived slavery since that percentage is at 0…So jews should be mad at Obama for playing up his family’s role in helping jews, since it hasn’t properly been confirmed or proven false. Well by that same logic blacks should be mad at McCain for down playing his family’s role that has been recently raised with slavery since it hasn’t been properly confirmed or proven false.

I just goggled “bail-out martial law” and was presented with an number of articles by congressmen where they state that the Speaker of the House threatened with Martial Law in the United States if the bail-out was not passed on Monday following the failure of the House of Reps. to pass the bail-out on Friday. Congressman Brad Sherman was one of those quoted along with Congressman Michael Burgess.

I am outraged that Speaker Nancy Pelosi even had the ordacity to make this threat to the members of the House of Reps. She should be called to task in this matter, regardless of whether we should have voted for the bail-out bill or not!!!!! She committed the most un-American act I have ever seen by threatening the House of Representatives whether indiviually, in caucus, or otherwise!

This settles in my mind what party I should vote for, even though the Republicans let us down during the last 6 of 8 years! This is no longer a democracy with our elected representatives conducting themselves in such a fashion as this!

Incidences of atrocity occur in war time. They usually are committed by both sides as certainly was the case in the US/Indian Wars. Questions remain, were these acts officially sanctioned by the US Government or its the Military leadership? For that matter were they ever supported by native tribal leaders and party of elders, in most case they were not. Atrocities are not the same as genocide no matter how morally wrong, horrible or avoidable.

Also any student of the American Indian can tell you that the introduction of the horse had a huge impact on native Americans. A century prior to the westward expansion numerous nomadic warrior culture tribes were themselves making war on their more passive and peaceful agrarian neighbors and afflicting upon them both death, forced migration and starvation. It was with some of these nomadic horse culture tribes that much of the great plains Indian wars were faught.
