For me? I got banned at the right moment. I feel as though I did my service in setting the record straight and providing legitimate information to combat the misinformation campaign going on there.

But……there comes a point when that’s done and nothing more needs to be said.

I recognized that the split was real. It wasn’t going to be healed. There is no common meeting ground.

I then tried TalkLeft, but the unity theme is strong there.

This is a true division in the party. It’s not about small potatoes.

It’s big. It’s real. It could be that the fact that it ISN’T about platform differences is exactly why the split is so severe and so real. It’s about application of Democratic principles to real life.

I will never support the new party, because they applied Republican demonization tactics to Hillary’s campaign. Their methodology is what I totally reject. They have secured my No vote by doing so.

I also now actively dislike our rigid faux-progressives. They are as dangerous as the Religious Right, obviously, and just as stupid. And I don’t care how much money they make. Creative class, my foot. They are probably the reason that on the weekend everyone in the country was wanting to go to the movies, there was nothing but crap showing.

The so-called creative class apparently is a bunch of poor thinkers. They need to be put out to go find real work, I think. They have failed utterly.

I would hope that our message is getting through to Obamaland.

It’s always impressive to me when I am walking around thinking stuff and then I come here and find out that others are on the same page, same conclusions, and same ideas. *whew* I’m not such a nutcase after all!

I hope TexasDarling’s posts are being read. I hope Larry’s articles are scoured. I hope Uppity gets through.

I hope McCain’s people are here, too. I’d like to see him forge a moderate platform that would not make me throw up if I need to vote for him! I’m hoping he gets a clue as to how to really wipe the floor with Obama.

I don’t care WHO comes out winning if, in the end, the moderates rule the day.

While public relations is a pretty unseemly business, it is not lobbying. Conflating terms in the interest of scoring political points benefits no one.
