How unconscious are you, Mark Halperin, that you wouldn’t realize that such an image was constantly used to portray women in the old cowboy movies as helpless but tantalizing vixens, and that their being tied up was a sexual ploy because it meant that men could either ravish them or save them — since the women, always, were unable to rescue themselves.

I’m so glad to see women standing up for each other. As we have more and more new immigrants come into this country from extremely patriarchal societies that espouses really sexist attitudes, if we don’t stand up for it now, don’t be surprised when we start reinstituting laws of the 1800s against women in this country forced to wear clothes from their neck down to their ankles – regardless of the 110 degree heat. The media can use terms towards Hillary such as “gasping for breath, “in her death throes”, “when is somebody going to take her out,” “nail the coffin shut”, etc, etc. Dogwhistles for death are a matter of routine when talking about women on the news. And it’s not just limited to Clinton, Paris Hilton, Britney Spears, they’re all subjected to the same misogynistic language.

Maybe the next time a woman (a good, qualified candidate of course) runs for president, the media and the wussy men will see that women are a very strong and important voting bloc and that we are a power to be reckoned with! Let’s see Obama and his army of race-card playing sheep and sexists cry this November. Maybe they’ll remember not to mess with us again!

I think it should be fairly clear to anyone paying the slightest bit of attention to what is going on why Hillary is staying in the race

Remember the famous “crying” episode before the NH primary. Hillary said her motivations go beyond politics and that they are personal. She said she has seen what is happening in this country and can’t turn away.

I am sure, despite the Clintons autobiographies, that there are many untold stories about what has happened in the last 20 years or so in national/international politics. The Clintons know the secrets. They are someone’s archenemies and they must be put down at any cost…even at the expense of destroying the Democratic Party or electing another puppet fraud to the White House.

I like to think of Hillary as America’s Joan of Arc. Hopefully, she will be spared the fate of being burned at the stake. But no matter the outcome of her efforts, she will be a shining example for the ages.

How dare you. How dare you present a graphic of the former First Lady of the United States, and a United States Senator, laying on train tracks, with all it’s implications of rape and murder. What’s next, Obama in a noose? Oh, wait, that would be socially unacceptable, you wouldn’t even consider that. But the destruction of an esteemed woman, you are perfectly ok with promoting that.

I will never read your magazine again. I prefer to read news sources that are in keeping with the present century, not those that reflect the mores of medieval times.

I am a disabled,divorced, Mother & Veteran and USED to be proud of my party.

I am now disgusted with it. If they pick the punk w/NO credentials and a GARBAGE past w/baggage out the DOOR then I and a million other women will be changing our party and our votes come NOV.

Mark if that happens you KNOW you will be partially to blame right? You could make it better not worse. Tell your male friends if they WANT to help they can but unless they WANT 4 more years of BUSH then they better GIVE UP ON OBAMBI!! He doesn’t have a snowballs chance in hell of winning in the GE.
