From Flineo: “Obama’s ‘Modern Times’”

PER LARRY’s orders: I am posting this immediately, and will be adding accompanying — and damning — text as I retrieve it.

ENJOY! Isn’t Flineo brilliant? He hates compliments. So what, Flineo. I’m defying you because you deserve every compliment bestowed upon you!

As I retrieve the DAMNING text, feel free to add your own!

This guy (girl) Flineo has not only a knack for finding great metaphors (similes) but for having studied his history and putting things in an entertaining perspective. It’s curious he should juxtapose Chaplin for I think he’s got a bit of the same touch when it comes to social criticism. Bravissimo Flineo!

  • fred

Flineo You Are The Best..As I always say keep doing what you do for all of US.
    Thank You

FLINEO: YOU ARE A GENIUS !!

    This is brilliant. Absolutely brilliant.

    Thank you.

    • Dawnelle

      I agree! Excellent as ALWAYS!

Hey has anyone notice that John Dean was making the round yesterday? What’s up with that and where does HE fall on all of this?

Does anyone know who he’s endorsing?

      curious

  • http://deleted AnninCa

    Very clever and well-done.

    Thanks!

  • typical irishman

Hillary Clinton did say “it takes a village”, and she is right. However, it only took one village idiot by the name of Obama to split the democratic party by declaring racial warfare against those who oppose him.

    • http://deleted AnninCa

Well, he couldn’t do that in a vacuum. The party was obviously fragile to start.

Look at the approval ratings. The party is lower in approval than Bush, even.

This is not a good year for either party.

We’re now really figuring that out.

      • Gary McGowan

        That’s the plan…

Coming soon, the “Unity Through Austerity Party”:
        Presidential candidate Michael Bloomberg
        and running mate Al Gore.

Domestic policy: public-private partnerships (corporate cartels buy up all the infrastructure and rent its use to the citizens.) Jobs for everyone, working in toll booths, as prison camp guards, traders in Al Gore’s carbon credits (work from home on your computer!), and maintenance crews.

Foreign policy: Endless wars everywhere. With jobs for mercenaries, weapons plant workers, and propagandists.

      • http://www.akpmedia.com David Axisrutt

And it’s totally amazing considering the slam dunk predicted originally against W.

Howard Dean: you deserve all the credit. OK Donna! OK you can get some too. And can we get Nancy Pelosi in this picture too?

    • terri

Never believe that. Obama is just the puppet for very evil men like Kerry, Kennedy (yes I know he’s ill, but enough is enough), Daschle, Durbin, Reid and one evil woman: Nancy Pelosi. Then the media is totally complicit and the big wig behind it all is George Soros in cahoots with Arianna Huffington. Not exactly a village, but not just the idiot, either.

      • http://www.akpmedia.com David Axisrutt

Oh Obama is of course a puppet but he’s not just a puppet. He’s a vacuous fetid arrogant summabitch too. His scorn for people is apparent. It’s bloody THICK. Barry doesn’t get off. Not at all. No way.

  • LDW

Please edit in a segment where he explains his likely defeat in Kentucky on the fact that Clinton spent time in Arkansas and Arkansas is closer to Kentucky than Obama’s home state of Illinois….

Or where he has the Great Lakes bordering Oregon…

Or saying the main language of Brazil is Spanish…

Or that he’ll meet with rogue states without pre-conditions…

Oh yeah, how about a version of the ‘Count the UHs’ that was on Letterman.

To take away Obama’s teleprompter is to take away his brain!

    • Gary McGowan

One might hope that this is the beginning of a serial with more of 0bama’s dancing and the same music to come…

      Obama’s Modern Times
      Obama’s Modern Times 2
      Obama’s Modern Times 3
      Obama’s Modern Times 4
      etc

There is certainly enough material provided by the dancing man.

MSNBC, Leaning Left And Getting Flak From Both Sides
Enhance Russert’s reputation, he’s kidding, right?

Russert drew some flak for declaring on the night of the May 6 primaries in Indiana and North Carolina: “We now know who the Democratic nominee is going to be, and no one’s going to dispute it.” He notes that he made a similar declaration on NBC — that Bill Clinton had the Democratic race wrapped up — in 1992.

As Russert sees it, appearing on the cable channel “enhances” his reputation. “I don’t do anything differently on MSNBC than I do on the network — try to report and analyze as best I can,” he says.

In the bitter battle for the Democratic nomination, MSNBC is widely viewed as being rough on Clinton. Matthews — who said after one Obama speech that he “felt this thrill going up my leg” — apologized in January for saying that Clinton owes her political career to the fact that “her husband messed around.” Correspondent David Shuster, who recently began anchoring the 4 p.m. hour, drew a two-week suspension in February for questioning whether Chelsea Clinton was being “pimped out” by her mother’s campaign.

Accuse Clinton of “baggage” and say you’re fair? What a fuckwad.

Griffin maintains that MSNBC has been “very fair” to Clinton, despite what he calls her “baggage.” “Obama had a lot of early success, and that colored people’s thinking,” he says. “That was a newer story, a fresher story, and people locked onto it.”

Hillary bashing from Olbermann, who dates a woman almost thirty years younger than himself:

In a “special comment” Friday — an occasional segment devoted to editorializing — Olbermann denounced Clinton for mentioning the 1968 assassination of Robert Kennedy while talking about how past primary seasons have lasted through June. “This cannot be forgiven,” Olbermann said, adding: “A politician, a person who can let hang in midair the prospect that she might just be sticking around, in part, just in case the other guy gets shot has no business being, and no capacity to be, the president of the United States.”

    • LBJ’s Love Child

“Obama had a lot of early success, and that colored people’s thinking,” he says.”

Griffin maintains that MSNBC has been “very fair” to Clinton

Phil Griffin needs to get laid.

Hillary bashing from Olbermann, who dates a woman almost thirty years younger than himself

I’m sorry but I am puzzled here. Are you intimating there is a woman who would see him more than once? Without being a crass gold digger? I’m sorry but I don’t believe it.

Yesterday caller ‘Nancy’ from Long Island and Lou Dobbs seriously discussed how long it would be until Keitho had a real nervous breakdown on the air. They both agreed he’s obviously sick and needs – to quote Lou – ‘lots’ of help.

  • typical.white.person

    great video above

  • SensibleWoman

    As always, Flineo, GREAT video!

Are they SURE this guy even wants to be President anymore? I dun-NO. Sometimes I wonder if he’s doing such obvious things on purpose so people WON’T vote for him. No joke. I think THEY want him to keep playing, but I have to wonder if he’s tired of playing this game and would quit if he could. Seriously. Otherwise, this is all just so totally ridiculous.

    • Rob in Chicago

He don’t want to work, he want to bang on de drum all day.

    • Gregoryp

We actually had a situation like that happen here in Texas once. Clayton Williams was going to win the governorship very handily, then he made a blunder that many people think was intentional and basically gave the post away to Ann Richards.

I really doubt that Obama ever wanted to actually be president, at least to help other people. His goal has been fortune, fame, and power. I don’t think he ever really believed he would have gotten this far. I thought the same thing about Bush as well. 2 peas in a pod as far as I am concerned.

    • Gary McGowan

“I wonder if he’s doing such obvious things on purpose so people WON’T vote for him.”

By golly, I think you’ve got it. He wants out!

Perhaps he’s dreaming of his own TV show. Really. He thinks he’d be just perfect for it.

  • typical.white.person

    Obama’s a trauma … in action

  • LDW
    • typical.white.person

There is nothing there in between his two ears. It reminds me of during the debates when they had to call on Hillary first, so Obama would know what to say.

  • Elaine

We need to demand that he release his medical records also. Either he is still using illeagal drugs or his past cocaine use has had an impact on his brain cells and what is good for John McCain is also good for Obama. He needs to release all his tax records also like the Clintons had to. And how come the pundits aren’t all over this like Hillarys Sniper story? Oh, that’s Wright, I forgot we don’t have a balanced media.

    • Lady MacBeth Obama

yes, I think McCain needs to ask for Obama’s medical records. Turnabouts fair play.
And yes, it looks like his brain has truly been fried. And drugs is a good guess.

Flineo, I was just wondering where you were.
And here you are, back with another beauty!

    • terri

Personally, I’m pretty sure his brain is fried from cocaine just like Dubya. But, it seems the powers that be just love them some crack heads on the national ballot.

    • morris1030

Obama should release his hidden voting records as state senator in Illinois. They are not out there, and when asked told Chicago SunTimes, “Never thought they’d be important, and have kept no records and by now they are tooo costly to obtain”.

He gets away with b.s. like this. The record is nothing he’s proud of.

      • karen for Clinton

His voting records were public votes, they are all on record. What is missing are things like all his schedules, events, meetings etc. with people like blago, resko, ayers, emil, wright, auchi, odinga, farrakhan, axelrod, kennedy, kerry, edwards, oprah, brazile, dean, pelosi, and the rest of HIS core of supporters, perhaps various drug dealers and sex partners… we just don’t know who….but one thing for sure he was meeting constantly with his good old buddies network who catapulted his run for senator and president and was grooming him for the job.

They sure gave us a real loser didn’t they?

we know for sure he wasn’t doing nothing for the people of Illinois, he was just jump starting his bid for fame and fortune and voting “present”.

Jokes on us Oprah, you sold more than a book this time girl. A big FU to Oprah for selling hype.

        • Elaine

I never watch Oprah or any of the daytime tv type shows, but my mother told me that Oprah was responsible for Dr. Phil and Rachel Ray and someone else I can’t remember, but I always wondered why we had such stupid shows in my opinion and Dr. Phil was the worst from the clips I always saw changing the channels or just reading the covers of the magazines in line to the cashier. I honestly don’t know what to think.

        • Denise

          You are absolutely right, Karen.
Oprah had a responsiblity to check him out before she put her weight behind him (no pun intended).

  • http://www.writehillaryin.com jm

Scary part of this brilliant video is the pre War scamp music from the time of emerging Nazism in denial. Tooo much like the MASTERS OF DENIAL and the blind public submission to what’s happening right before our eyes now.

Thanks Larry for feeding our brains and our souls with ongoing doses of the truth.

  • http://IthinkIfeel... Pat Racimora

Flineo is a creative genius for sure! I sent the link out to everyone I could think of. I LOVE the empty theater.

When will everyone wake up and realize that this fellow is simply not ready for primetime???

Still time to try to get that message across to the decision makers.

  • http://americaninitaly.blogspot.com/ sarainitaly

Absolutely LOVED it. The dancing Obama shots just floored me.

Will be posting on my blog tomorrow!

    Thanks for another masterpiece. :OD

    • Fred C. Dobbs

How can he claim to be AA, when he has NO rhythm?

Next, he’ll start talking about how his great-great-great grandfather, Kunte Kinte, was whipped by Jewish slave traders from Kentucky.

  • HillaryMadamePresident

Fantastic and spot on, as usual..Flineo!

  • http://americaninitaly.blogspot.com/ sarainitaly

Has anyone found the great uncle yet? all we have found was a Charles W Payne that served in the Navy.

    • PC

The great uncle that served in the 89th Infantry Division, which did not helped liberate Buchewald??

Look it up folks. I think somebody has made up a story to get the jewish vote. Something like: “My family helped liberate the jews from concentration camps”.

      • http://americaninitaly.blogspot.com/ sarainitaly

they said his great uncle was in that Division, but according to Obama campaign, his great uncle was Charles W Pyane, and the only two Charles W Paynes from Kansas were in the Navy.

        • beebop

Here is the appropriate section from the speech he gave at the 2004 Democratic Convention as it deals with this issue:

Her father worked on oil rigs and farms through most of the Depression. The day after Pearl Harbor, my grandfather signed up for duty, joined Patton’s army, marched across Europe. Back home my grandmother raised a baby and went to work on a bomber assembly line. After the war, they studied on the GI Bill, bought a house through FHA and later moved west, all the way to Hawaii, in search of opportunity.

He seems to like to combine people and attribute events similar to what he did in his novels … at least that is what it looks like here. All of a sudden, it is the grandfather that marched with Patton …. does he even know? He has spent so much time longing for the black father who deserted him, he doesn’t seem to have any familiarity at all with the white family that actually did raise him …

    • mahaska

Why would the navy have an infantry division? That’s army, no?

      • http://americaninitaly.blogspot.com/ sarainitaly

        exactly.

  • terri

OMG! What dunce! I really could do without the dancing–is it just me or does he look like Stephen Erckel at the sock hop? (No offense to Erckel, of course).

  • http://vbonnaire.wordpress.com vbonnaire

Flineo, I can’t wait to see this and, I swear, you remind me of the sort of activism my gen did, when we were kids o’ the 70s. I hope you will go into a film career, if you aren’t already!

ps: thank you No Quarter. For being here, for being sane. I had a thought. Realize that gen O is also gen medicated, as in diagnosed and ? Most of them were given the diagnosis ADHD or depression in childhood. Very bad, very wrong, very unethical. Alone, and staring into this computerized world we live in now? It becomes clearer as I think about why the mass fascination with a “brand” — it’s as if the logo is a transitional object? That’s psychotherapy talk…(for the generation who all of this has been target marketed to.)

Anyway, Flineo, you are an artist, thank you for your art. It’s always powerful.

ps: to Uppity, I love your comments. That thread below about riots. This gen? It’s life has been boring so far. Could that be it? Why didn’t they protest the war? What they do is shop for labels. The admire the P. Hilton’s of this world. Yikes.
Never thought we see times like this did we? I must have liked McGovern too? I can’t remember but my whole family were Repubs. I came up loving MLK and JFK. How on earth did we get here?

    • Dawnelle

vbonnaire YOU have a VERY nice Website of your OWN you know!! ;-)

but I agree Flineo is not only Brilliant but FAST!

      Prolific like No Quarter!

You are all rather amazing! Thank YOU!

  • Judy

I must say – I am very grateful for blogs like this. I thought I was alone in my opinions about Obama.

We must protest Obama at every turn or this country is lost!!!

    Thank you! Thank you!

Here a article by a Dr. Jack Wheeler who said the following regarding all the recent gaffes made by Obama:

    http://www.tothepointnews.com/content/view/3208/2/

“No matter how exhausted from campaigning you are, you don’t make a mistake like that under any normal circumstances. Saying there are 57 states – actually 58, or is it 59? – is such an egregiously stupid error that it is evidence of brain malfunction.

A neuroscientist with years of research into drug abuse and brain chemistry tells To The Point that the behavior exhibited by Obama is consistent with the use of either amphetamines or cocaine.”

  • http://www.akpmedia.com David Axisrutt

Standing fucking ovation. You can’t help but laughing and enjoying.

BTW everybody caught the comment on Lou Dobbs yesterday from Ayesha from India now living in California?

I just want to say you and Larry Johnson on No Quarter USA dot com are the best for your people.

    Cheers!

  • http://www.akpmedia.com David Axisrutt

So everybody gets the connection to the Chaplin movie? Just wondering. He didn’t just pull that out of a hat. ;) And I don’t care what Mr F says either – he’s a fucking genius and that’s that. Also he’s obviously a tremendously likeable person. F gets a standing order from any of us: turn up in our towns and it’s a free beer on the house, free meal, and someone will find him a bed at the inn. ;)

Thar’s free lodgings in them thar hills too?

  • jessie

Can’t see the video there is just white where the video should be – is it just my computer?

  • http://divinedem.blogspot.com Mary Ellen

I don’t know what was funnier, the little picture of Obama dancing between the messages, or the picture of Reverend Wright in the Red Army uniform. This was one of the best video’s I’ve seen in a long time. The point was well taken, and it was done with humor, great graphics, and the song couldn’t have been more appropriate for the video.

Thank you, Flineo, you’re a genius!

  • pm317

Flineo is a genius! That dancing Obama could not look more dumb. a famous song but the lyrics don’t mean anything. Indeed.

  • It’s Not Me

FANTASTIC! That has to be one of his best! Thumbs up!

  • http://www.hillaryclinton.com **== President & Commander-in-Chief Hillary Clinton **==

Where’s the DAMNING text from Larry? ;)

  • http://humorhasit.blogspot.com Shez

Another excellent video by Flineo, well done!

If you are reading Flineo I would like to know if you have used the clip anywhere of Obama telling David Gregory on TV that he won my state of Michigan?

YouTube: Obama Says He Won Michigan

I still shake my head at this one. What a lying sack of shit asshat. And his followers think I’ll ever vote for him? NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. I’ll never vote for him.

  • SJ

Looking at that video all I can say is god help us don’t let this fool become president he is starting to even look dumber than Bush.

    • Gary McGowan

Wonder if there are enough video clips around and the software to patch together a “debate” between those two geniuses. I can imagine laughing so hard as to not be able to breathe.

  • angie

Flineo hates compliments? Well, then I will just propose marriage to him — because I’m in looovvee! ;-) Keep up the good work.

  • karen for Clinton

Flineo, excellent as always. our deepest thanks.

    Rise Hillary Rise.

  • Jeff T

    I’m surprised by these comments.

Barack Obama wants to “bang on da drum all day”? …How can he be African-American with “NO rhythm”? …next he’ll talk about his great-great grandfather “Kunte Kinte”??

I don’t believe much of the campaign against Obama is because of racism, but I think several people at this site offer evidence to the contrary.
Say what you want, but it’s awfully hard to dismiss the effect of race when you read these comments.
Do you think these comments better the case against Obama, or hurt it???
    I’d say the latter.

  • Militarytracy

That was pretty funny, sort of brilliantly worked too. There’s talent in them thar hills ;)

  • http://hyper-educated-uppity-woman.blogspot.com Uppity

    Flineo rocks.

Larry, FYI, Fox covered Barky’s gaffes at 6PM EST today. While they didn’t mention this video directly, if you get to see the video of that, you will hear someone say at the end, “I know I wouldn’t want anyone to compile all my gaffes and put them together”.

    Wink Wink.
