As Senators Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton fight to the finish to see who will earn the Democratic nomination for president, Lou will be weighing in on the latest from the world of American politics.

Mike Allen of Politico.com will offer his take on all things politics, as this fall’s general election begins to take shape. Clinton supporter Lanny Davis will also join Lou to talk politics, and he’ll offer his two cents on why his candidate should be the Democratic nominee.

Lou will be joined Wednesday by Harvard Law School professor Elizabeth Warren, who will discuss how things are really looking for America’s middle class.

Tony Perkins of the Family Research Council will talk to Lou about the intersection of politics and faith, and what we can expect in the coming months.

And Doug Schoen, the pollster who was Bill Clinton’s research and strategic consultant during his 1996 re-election, will offer his thoughts on where the Democratic campaign goes from here.

As always, Lou will be taking your calls to discuss the issues that matter most to youŠ and getting your thoughts on the direction in which America is heading.

        When I did it like Hill429 said to I got it and put the station on my bookmark bar…older macs can be tricky…Good show with Lanny, he had the chance to put a lot of facts out there…THE COMMERCIALS DRIVE ME CRAZY….chuckle….

Barack Obama was a Muslim and 22 percent did not know his religion, asserted: “I blame a lot of this on propaganda churned up on emails. He might want to make sure, by the way, that people are clear on this matter as soon as possible.” Matthews added, “Of course, Hillary Clinton’s not helping by saying he’s not a Muslim, ‘as far as I know.’ ” Matthews has repeatedly mischaracterized Clinton’s response during a CBS 60 Minutes

      I don’t understand why people have problems with religion. In both Islam and Christianity, one is to take care of the poor, the widowed and the orphans. Obama has never done so and in fact along with Rezko made them more miserable. Thus he doesn’t posses the main characteristic of either religion.

      I would rather question Obama who believes his faith “informs” him, then why did he let the poor and the aging freeze in Chicago?

        These were government loans specifically done under a program for minority entrepreneurs.

        Rezco was no minority.

        I do not believe Obama got a mere 2k for all this.
        back in January there were articles in the Chicago Sun Times that Obama got nearly 1 million dollars. So there was loan fraud being done with Obama’s assistance..

        Also, Chicago sun times had a video I saw with Obama in the audience when Wright was God Damning America. I went back to search in their video archives and it has been scrubbed. The vidoes are property of CBS. They may also have the MO hate whitey video.

        Linda C., my problem with Islam is that if you’re born a Muslim, but convert to a different religion, you’re declared an apostate and receive a death sentence.

        Take for instance the guy in Afghanistan who had to flee to Italy because he became a Catholic.

      I have wondered since this question came about awhile ago why anyone feels it is Hillary’s responsibility to clarify his religion,ethnicity or background. It makes no sense at all. It seems they will find a way to make Barry’s actual existence her fault.

    A new Univision/El Vocero poll of Puerto Rico has Clinton ahead by 13 over Obama, 51-38. However, the reporting of the results makes it somewhat difficult to interpret what it all means. For example, the poll says it found that 50% will not vote. Now, that sounds bad for Puerto Rico (where turnout is usually over 80% of the electorate), but imagine 50% turnout in the states in a primary. That is remarkable. I would add that that would project that a million voters will vote on Sunday.

    If Clinton wins by 13, and a million voters come out, then Clinton would gain 130,000 in the popular vote contest

    You can usually download the mp3 files by 15 minutes past the hour. So you can listen to the 3pm Est hour show by 4:15.

    I work at a linix workstation and I can not stream his show live. I prefer to listen to the MP3 anyway. That way I can skip the commercials.

    Also I am trying to build some software that is suppose to be able to translate MP3 voice into text automatically. If it works I can post transcripts.

      Media Matters for America launched a smear against Lou Dobbs last week that appears to have been possibly coordinated with Obama’s attacks against Dobbs.

      MMFA has tried to associate Dobbs with Rush Limbaugh, O’Reilly and Glen Beck.

      There is a huge difference between Dobbs and the Right-wing talkers. First of all Dobbs has been covering the immigration issue for 6-7 years. Largely in response to genuine growing public outrage over a declining job market due to illegal immigration and mass labor arbitrage. While most of the right-wing talkers like Rush and O’Reilly pretty much followed Karl Rove’s pro Open Borders, pro cheap labor, anti-American worker talking points until relatively recently. That is right up until the summer of 2006 when the Republican base revolted in base in the wake of the May 1st Pro-Amnesty mass rallies where the Anarchists, Marxists, Atzlan loons and MEChista showed up in mass. It was in late summer 2006 that Rush began breaking with Bushco over immigration because he felt he was at risk of alienating his audience.

      The other big difference is Lou Dobbs audience is vastly more diverse in every possible dimension; gender, age, regional, ethnic and national origin, race, religion, occupation, class, income and political identification than for example a Limbaugh or O’Reilly.

    We Democrats must understand that the Obama have taken over the Democratic Party so when you hear Obama say he won’t knee cap Hillary (how kind of him) and Michelle saying she would like to rip Bill Clinton’s eyeballs out. This is going to be the new language in the New Democratic Party. Donna Brazile’s comment that there will be BLOOD if Obama doesn’t get the nomination is just the beginning.

      Kat absolutely — you don’t need to change parties to vote in the GE. However, it would be such a kick for me to vote for the first time as an Independent and have Hillary run as an Independent. Otherwise I will be an Independent voting Republican.

We worked hard for many long years in this party to make it what it is today. Why should some scum bag come along and force us out. Lets fight it out with them. We were here long before they were. We don’t have many in the main news media to back us Hillary supporters so lets be glad for Lou Dobbs and occasionally Bill O’Reilly. Although O’Reilly pissed me off last night when he pounced on the RFK remark as if Hillary meant that she wanted Obama assasinated. Sometimes Bill is not honest in his reporting so be careful.

    on less than five major oil refinerys here,
    i have worked all of them over the years
    mostly shut-downs..

    they are all up and cooking at max. right now
    if the truck drivers would shut down highways
    except for emergency needs, bet your a
