Bought and Bossed Bloggers at MyDD? [UPDATE]

What will months of shameless advocacy for a political candidate enable one to procure? What will months of mindlessly paraphrasing emails from campaign operatives enable one to procure? What will months of banning supporters of Hillary Clinton enable one to procure? What will months of misrepresenting the policies of Hillary Clinton on a major political blog enable one to procure? What will months of directly and subtly accusing Bill Clinton of racism enable one to procure? What will months of unrestrained hackery for a political candidate enable one to procure? What will months of fabricating momentum for a political candidate in the important state of California enable one to procure? What will months of editing the work of Hillary supporters enable one to procure?

A position at Perkins Coie, of course, for Perkins Coie is the law firm that represents the Obama campaign. Even the mediocre, overweight, unprepossessing and unimaginative can climb the social ladder if favors are performed for the Obama campaign. Is anyone surprised? Am I wrong to assume this is another example of quid pro quo with the Obama campaign?

Chicago politics is now online politics: Obama has a Daddy Rezko, and some bloggers have a Daddy Axelrod. This is the change in which venal political hacks have been trained to believe.

By the way, one Obamabot will be substituted for another at MyDD. For the new hire, Joshua Orton, is an avowed hack who has already been programmed by Axelrod. Out with one bot and in with another: MyDD will remain a haven for interchangeable Obama supporters.

      Go further behind the scenes, there to see the names, “Reboot” also over at New Democratic Network, and New Organizing Institute. Also something called “rootscamp” you will see they are all connected behind the scenes — the big blogs, Dean, Trippi, Pelosi — the fundraising has happened while FEC closed

      Pelosi has some fraud…herself? Must be why she is in such a big hurry to get Clinton out?

      I expect the Clintons would be very interested in ethics reform at FEC. Pelosi ethics? There is something with Gore. My sense is “rigged” from the get go, and Larry, Bud, Chicagoan — I’m glad you are here. It’s less scary.

      Yes, I have experienced this myself with an honest comment about how it will take too much time for Obama to learn how to interact with the white working class. I mention how it took Bill Clinton years and a failed election to do it, and he was born in Arkansas.

      I even knew the guy that taught him, Hilary Jones, personally. Hilary and his wife are the ones that told me the story, along with others in my area. It’s not like I had no clue.

      Totally agree with you JM. I feel the same way. I was very disappointed as well as grossed out at TMP. I think DD and TPM join the Obamachoir as soon as Hillary go her voice back. The Obamamachine is dishing out jobs and administration promises left and right. Free meals from the Hope bus (also bottomless cups of koolaid). Super Del are lining up to feed and drink as well. Good old fashion CRONIism is born.

        The Exodus has begun. A few posters continue with this sort of “thank you Taylor for your honesty…you provided us a home…blah blah blah”. We women are too forgiving.
        She posted last week that we might going forward “read some things that infuriate” us. So who wants to be infuriated? My time is too precious. If Obama is as bad as she says he is, then why the hell would she support him?

        This sounds strange – but all the pro-Obama trolls – I feel that its coordinated and I wonder if Taylor agreed to it on some level so that those who will vote McCain in the fall will be driven out.

          I have seen Obama trolls sending people over to TM. Just today someone said she debunked the “99 Problems Urban Myth.” That seems to be the order of the day. Got a gripe with Obama and think he and his campaign are sexist? Taylor will set you straight. “She’s a loyal Democrat, and you can trust her. It’s a pro-Hillary site.” It’s enough to make you vomit.

    Man, Singer is ugly. And I thought Markos, Josh (a.k.a. Captain Stubble), and the red-faced and jowly Atrios were ugly. Their ugliness is no match for Jonathon’s.

    I can’t handle MyDD anymore. Too many children. And T. Marsh gets on my nerves. She’s forever fighting with and admonishing her commenters in a school-marmish way. Her blog is getting too condescending. Too many lectures. I am also tired of hearing about “lunch buckets.” I haven’t carried a lunch bucket since my “Bewitched” lunch bucket in third grade.

    All I gots left is TL with the grumpy but it’s worth it cause he’s so smart BTD, and No Quarter, where they tells it like it is.

      I agree with you 100%!!! Except I must add John Halatosis of America-gas-blog to your list of those with looks that should always be hidden by a screen name. He is the worst of all. I left a comment at his blog telling him to get off of his knees, Obama wont take a picture with straight Gavin Newsome much less drop his zipper for you. Avarosis usually posts a snooty remark, but he just outright banned me. Boo, hoo. I was sick of him when he would complain about how much it cost to run his blog, then beg for money, then the next thing you see are pictures of his expensive washington pad or his month long vacation in Paris. I wondered why he went from being an Obama basher over the Donnie McGlurkin fiasco to becoming Obama’s beard.     Good plan, JohnnyB. But I can hardly stand to go there any more. Most of the OBs comments are juvenile and vitriolic. Still enjoy posts by Alegre and linfar and anna shane—they are voices of reason. But when the OBs comment on those articles, Alegre, etc., they get accused of being trolls. It feels like Brown Shirt strategy to me. I guess they have not gotten the memo from BO to “be nice to the Hillary supporters.” Probably will stop going there completely soon—it’s a waste of time and energy.
