Sometimes rebooting has helped...but other times it seems like traffic might be an issue.

There were a couple of nights I couldn't get the page to load and a couple of nights just typing in a post was the probelm.

A significant delay in seeing the words that I typed...if that makes sense.

HT,

It was brave of you to share. Any time I have shared just a bit of such a story I was amazed how vulnerable it made me feel.

Despite all the supportive comments, I wanted to pull the posts, like they had revealed too much and made me an easy target.

So, I hope you don't go back into lurking, you've made excellent points regarding rape and the worldwide impact it has on women and men. It would be shame not to hear more of your opinions.

Larry, i think you got this one wrong. When Pfleger says "America needs to pay" and "get the sucker who has been rapping me and make him pay", he is talking about reparations.

Now, if this is how we read his rant, we might have more success in swaying more people against him.

I saw this as soon as it came out and was hoping somebody would put it on television but the first part where is mocking Hillary is all they did yesterday. I have not had a chance to watch O'reilly or Greta tonight. I hope they show the one about America Raping Blacks because people need to see that for what it is - gutter trash talk. No unity in those words.

Now I feel Obama/Marxist is also under the skin racist. I felt that way from reading his book and listening to his wife Michelle/Marxist but now I know.

Where are the votes going to come from now? AA, young college kids, white guilt elite liberals and who else? THERE IS NO ONE ELSE BECAUSE DONNA BRAZILE HAS TOLD THEM THEY ARE NOT NEEDED BY THE PARTY.

SO, OBAMA/MARXIST JUST TRY TO WIN THE SOUTHWEST WITH LATINOS, TRY TO WIN TENNESSEE, WEST VIRGINIA, KENTUCKY, WELL, MOST OF THE SOUTHERN STATES AFTER YOU HAVE INSULTED THEM BY CALLING THEM HILLBILLIES AND SCARED.

WE ARE NOT CLINGING TO OUR GUNS AND RELIGION FOR FEAR OF ANYTHING AND ESPECIALLY NOT FEARING YOUR FRIENDS WHO SPEW SUCH HATE SPEECH. WE ARE PROUD PEOPLE WHO FARM AND WORK HARD.

So,do not insult us with your "just words" of hate speech. You know you are very aware of all these people but you insult us with your belief that we will not pull back the layers of your onion and see you for who you are - MARXIST.

If you get the nomination by whatever way they want to hand it to you I will actively work for McCain for the first time in my life. The first in three generations of yellow-dog democrats. I am getting out of the party the day you announce.

I have my McCain stickers and signs ready but not up because you may stumble on your way to the finish line as you are stumbling now.

There is so much out there and it will come out.

NO OBAMA/MARXIST
HILLARY OR MCCAIN 2008

Thank you Linda C.

Obama is not connected to me culturally, sociologically or historically. He grew up in an island paradise where people of color dominated. He could have been easily mistaken for a native kid at a casual glance. He probably only came to grips with his ethnicity when he went to CA as a student. And it probably was a shockaroo to him. I was in LA around the time he went to college there and it was not unusual for black men to be stopped by LA cops for no reason. Maybe something like this happened to Obama and it traumatized him. After living his entire life in the cocoon of Hawaii, suddenly he’s black. Maybe that’s why he transferred to Columbia in a much more ethnically friendly campus and community.

Whatever! His identity problems are his own and are not mine.

All I know is this: no real black person would be carrying on this way to get elected. Obama is the front-man for a political cartel that has effectively, exploited the desperation of blacks. America may still owe us a thing or two, even a black president, but that black president IS NOT BARACK OBAMA! And I resent him using my past for his own ambition. He has trivialized every issue belonging to our community with this rag-tag team of 60s radicals who have the audacity to be telling people on behalf of the black community that white people must vote for Barack Obama. These people have lost their cotton-pickin’ minds.

Each and every day reveals yet another reason why Obama should be kicked out of politics for good. He’s not fit to hold that Senate seat, much less be POTUS. It’s unbelievable that the Republicans want to roll the dice with this ratfuck in Nov. If this was the old west, Obama would’ve been run out of Deadwood, he’s so corrupt.

MESSAGE TO DNC: END THE MADNESS!

RIGHT AND OBAMA: TWO DIFFERENT INGREDIENTS TO A NEW AMERICA
"...Senator Barack Obama and Reverend Jeremiah Wright, love America, are passionate about its future, and desire at their very core the best for this country and for each and every one...The truth is we need both!..."

This has been a sad week for me. I have watched two friends who I respect, admire, and have a deep love for, torn apart by pundits and editorialists, talking heads, and political strategists! It has been sad because both men that I know, Senator Barack Obama and Reverend Jeremiah Wright, love America, are passionate about its future, and desire at their very core the best for this country and for each and every one of its citizens. I must also say that I find it quite hypocritical that conservative preachers and commentators who have identified themselves as the protectors and respecters of life are consistently silent on the issues of gun violence, poverty, no health care, poor education, and the effects of racism and classism that are continually killing life in our inner cities. Yet when other voices identify them, they’re called angry and unpatriotic.

There has been a strong desire and demand to make people take a side, draw a line in the sand and make a choice between Wright and Obama. I personally believe this is evil and unfair. First of all, I don’t understand why Senator Obama and Reverend Wright are suddenly being held accountable and responsible for whatever the other says. This is not being done in either of the campaigns of Senator Clinton or Senator McCain. So the question must be asked, what’s the hidden strategy as to why this is being done to Senator Obama and Reverend Wright? Secondly, why are they seemingly being forced to not only be held accountable for each other, but to speak for and sound like each other? They are different persons, different personalities, and have different purposes. Finally, I understand, appreciate, and believe we need both!

Senator Obama has spent the past two years and years earlier in his political life presenting America a vision of hope. Hope as to who we can be, how we can be inclusive and different, how we can do politics differently, and how we can build a new and better America. This vision of hope has set a fire of enthusiasm, excitement, and involvement across this country.

Reverend Wright, as a gifted preacher in the prophetic tradition, has spent his ministry identifying the sins, problems, and stumbling blocks of racism, sexism, classism, poverty, inequality, and the down right lies that must be acknowledged and eradicated if we are to build a new and better America. He has given hope to masses of people who have come to feel invisible in America.

The truth is we need both!

We need a voice of hope that points us to a vision and we need a prophetic voice that makes us uncomfortable and forces us to acknowledge our sins. Senator Barack Obama and Reverend Jeremiah Wright are, I believe, seeking the same thing, what the scriptures may call “a new heaven and a new earth.” Why are we trying to force them to drive down the same street in order to get there, rather than being more preoccupied with arriving to the place of new beginnings, and grateful to all the different voices that take us there? The true audacity of hope comes when it seems everything looks hopeless. Both Senator Barack Obama and Reverend Jeremiah Wright are calling us to hope – but from their different vantage points.

I challenge us all not to get caught up in the trick to choose one or the other. Rather, let us be committed to the new day and the new beginning for America. And let us be appreciative and thankful for all the different and necessary voices who call us to get there! The truth is we need Senator Barack Obama and we need Reverend Jeremiah Wright and, if we are serious about wanting a new America, we cannot afford to throw either one of them under the bus!

Obama's not fit to be a city mayor, let alone a VP. He is corrupt and chooses people with racist and hateful views to congregate and hangout with. His private choices do not jive with his espoused public views. His political career needs to go down hard, and never resurrect.

My ancestors came from Ireland too after the Civil War, and they lived in the NORTH, not the South. Slavery was illegal in the North before the Civil War. Doesn't any Obamazoid know anything about history?

And Father Pflakey's hypocrisy is so huge! He belongs to one of the most misogynist institutions on earth and holds one of the few male-only jobs left in the United States.

The GOP has to wait till closer to November to let loose the heavy artillery, otherwise the effectiveness of the bombs will dissipate with the passage of time. While I am loathe to be patient, we need only look to how relatively quickly memories fade and ugly truths get dumbed down, when voters are subjected to the cleansing bombardment of pro-Obama pundit con artists. The Obama campaign must not be allowed the time to wipe him down and prop him back on his pedestal, before the vote.

The phrase was used in a previous thread, explicitly. There have been numerous displays of racist language.

Do I accuse you or the Clintons or anyone of racism? No. But you are insensitive - and especially insensitive in that you feel that people are insensitive in asking you to be sensitive.

You can argue til the cows come home who made the race about "race"...don't blame me I'm a socialist and I supported Kucinich...but the kind of language you use is an offense to human dignity, I realize that its not about race, but if you can empathize with people who may see it in that fashion, then you'll be a bigger human being than one who scoffs at "Obamatons". Have your policy differences, feel free to shout them to the world. But don't smear shit and be undignified and downright improper to any real political pratice...an offense that I count as my own and that of many many people, perhaps in a similar fashion to your perspective on the radical preachers (and you don't mention Hillary's cultish prayer breakfasts?). I realize that you are truly offended by all of these radical preachers, and I'm not gonna argue with your views, except to state that I personally think that if one were to judge most potential politicians by the company they kept, then very few decent heads of state would be elected. Rezko is sleazey, perhaps. Can you imagine the Kennedy election in the days of bloggers obsessive about associations "he knwos Sam Giancanna...he does speed ... .his dad was a nazi!" Not that I like Kennedy, he was a thug wrongly lionized by sentimental liberals - but the point is that I feel bad, sincerely I do, for people who are excited about something and then their bubble is about to burst. I am sorry if any of my admitted trolling offended you. But think about what you're doing and saying.

Grow up. You don't want John McCain to continue the class war against working Americans.
