Make War NOT Peace

Just when I thought the audacity had reached it’s summit I am yet again surprised at the ego of Barack Obama. According to the UK Telegraph, senior members of the Obama campaign have been working behind the scenes trying to offer Hillary a way to find a “dignified” way to exit this race. Yes, you read that right. Obama is offering Hillary something dignified. Hillary. Hillary Clinton.

Talk about your audacity.

Fair warning: This stuff is liable to piss you off!

Hillary Clinton to be offered dignified exit

The former First Lady would get the chance to pilot Mr Obama’s reforms of the American healthcare system if she agrees to clear the path to his nomination as Democratic presidential candidate.

Obama and his minions actually believe that Hillary would want to steer a health care policy through the legislative process that DOES NOT offer Universal Health Care to ALL Americans? These folks aren’t just audacious, they are stupid as hell. If there is one thing that Hillary has made the centerpiece of her campaign to become President it is Universal Health Care. Not the Obama screw around the edges Health Care for SOME Americans. REAL Universal Health care.

Now I realize that Obama Cultists don’t have the slightest idea what REAL actually means. Their whole movement is based upon lies, thugs, smoke and mirrors. So I almost have sympathy for them. But you notice I used the word ALMOST.

You might imagine that after Hillary experienced the first act of generosity from Senator Obama where he offered to allow her to have 19 delegates from Florida she might not be overly enthused. And then after Obama made his second gesture of generosity by offering to split the delegates from Michigan 50/50 when he wasn’t even on the ballot you wouldn’t be surprised (would you?) if Hillary didn’t tell Obama to F off. And to his face.

But according to the Audacious Cult, they believe that offering Hillary a part in the Obama cabinet is the way to bring about peace. What absolute fools.

Senior figures in the Obama camp have told Democrat colleagues that the offer to Mrs Clinton of a cabinet post as health secretary or to steer new legislation through the Senate will be a central element of their peace overtures to the New York senator.

Pete Seeger said it best:

To everything (turn, turn, turn)
There is a season (turn, turn, turn)
And a time for every purpose, under heaven

A time of love, a time of hate
A time of war, a time of peace
A time you may embrace, a time to refrain from embracing

And my friends, this is a Time of War.

    Hmmm!

Has Obama released his “medical” records yet? Or “HIS” birth certiicate? It seems mighty strange that these items for some reason can’t be released.

How do we know “HE” is fit to be “POTUS”?

Hillary should never take any kind of position with that group.

  • Prem

The article is just full of innuendo—nothing substantial to implicate Bill. Don’t waste your time reading it. It’s a fabrication of the author’s imagination and projection. I get the feeling that he’s just jealous of Bill’s ability to maintain friendships with interesting, innovative people. It is a hit piece.

  • terri

This is actually good. It means he’s still worried about being able to nail the nomination. GREAT! There’s still hope for Hil. Doesn’t he always try to bribe her to quit after she has a big win? After KY he tried to giver her $20 mil to pay debts!!

Keep up the pressure, I say. Donna Brazile doesn’t look too cocky on CNN.

A friend who watches Fox called me today to tell me they mentioned it.

fred, Larry doesn’t make stuff up. Everything here is reality based, no swiftboating, just real news.

The msm is the last to report things, often taking months to cover things we knew all about for ages.

  • sowsear

Does Murdock own FOX?. Everybody seems to have some agenda, and it ain’t good for the US.

  • ritamary

Here is one sentence from the Vanity Fair article that is pretty representative of the entire content of the article:

There has been talk of a female friend in Chappaqua, a woman in a bar at a meeting of the Aspen Institute, and a public sighting of Clinton, Bing, and a ravishing entourage in a New York elevator that, a former Clinton aide told me, led a business leader who saw them to say: I don’t know what the guy was doing, but it was so clear that it was just no good.

  • sowsear

Is Roger Ailes AA? If so, I thought he owned one of the other cables. Anyway Murdock is one of my pet peeves, since he isn’t a US citizen. If we lose control of our own media, we end up serving foreign interests. (Or have you noticed, we’re serving someone’s interests?)

  • sowsear

PS. And I meant to say, I think Murdock owns several media outlets and has much influence.

  • NY Still loves Hillary

Talk about not getting it! DO these sleezebags really think Hillary (or we) can be bought off, nonetheless with a bag of peanuts? Audacity ain’t the word…

  • NY Still loves Hillary

Of course, the real strategy is to offer Clinton a bone she will never bite on in the name of “Unity”, so he can tell her supporters that he “tried” to bring her on board, but she turned him down cold. “Not my fault, so come support me in November”. Or perhaps “I’m the rational one here, it must be her time of the month”.

  • cdo

Someone buy these ppl a dictionary. I think they got the words “dignified” and “amazingly lame and laughable” mixed up.

  • Catsarepeopletoo

He’s hoping she’ll save his butt, because he and his advisors have no idea how to implement any kind of health plan. Then, when they make sure it is torpedoed, it will be Hillary’s fault. Of course, he thinks he can be elected in November.

She must take this to the convention. We don’t need her to give up like Gore and Kerry.

This offer if true shows the revenge they want to take out on Hillary. They want to grind her into the ground and the rest of us too.

  • Strawberry

It stuns me. These folks think that we’ll be placated by scraps. That Clinton supporters will “fall in line” behind Obama once he gets the nod. See, this is where these idiots need a reality check. We don’t fall into line like conservatives do. That’s why we’re liberals. We think for ourselves. We don’t walk lock step. Conservatives do. That’s why I believe Obama and his supporters aren’t true liberals but conservatives in liberal clothing.

    I think the final “score”

I think it may come down to MT and SD voters. I’m sure most people already suspect this, but it’s obvious when you seem some of the over-the-top comments about Obama – THEY ARE FROM OBAMANIAC PLANTS. The Obamaniacs are going to all the pro-Hillary sites and submitting absurd racist comments. Then the Obamaniac sites like Americablog point to them and call Hillary supporters evil bigots. It is all so transparent.

  • s. hall

Obama spent 20 years in a church that taught him to hate people like Hillary. Hate is the only thing Obama does well. Now he will not stop trying to take revenge on her. He thinks he is top dog and we are going to begin to see the real Obama come out. Already his paid Obamabots are pushing for a generational war. Hillary needs to get out of this party and run as an Independent. None of the scumbags in the party are fit to wipe the clinton’s shoes.

  • Shainzona

Over at MyDD they’re all “over the moon” at the idea of Saint Obama “offering” HRC this cabinet position…
‘course they left out the statement about how she can work to pass his NON-universal health care plan if she agrees to be quiet and go back to “her place”.

I am SO pissed, it’s hard ot contain my anger.

  • NewIndependant

  • wac for hillary

She needs to stay as far away from this bunch as she can get. If she doesn’t get the nomination, she should stay in the Senate. That’s where she can fight the bullshit the best.

If Obama had a thousand years to make nice with me, it still wouldn’t be enough to make me vote for him. And, any Democrat from Arkansas who backs Obama had better not expect my vote or money.

  • s. hall

Obama is good at only one thing — hating white people, especially smart white women. He is angry with her and he cannot move past it so he tries to demean her in every way possible. She must run as an Independent and get out of this party.

  • http://deleted AnninCa

I presume her response will be a simple: We’ll see. August is not here yet.

  • Mr X

They have to be paid because there is no logic to their statements, only hate. Like Obama being a unifier. I mean c’mon! How’s that working out for him? Have they looked around? Is the party unified? That’s Obama’s legacy. He’ll have to come to terms with it. But no. It’s easier to live in wonderland where Hillary supporters are the bad people.

  • Dawnelle

    Fine with me!

I don’t regret anything I’ve ever said (as far as I can remember) and I’m proud of the fact I am not afraid to be HONEST or READ ALL THE FACTS.

But I’m not an “evil-doer” so there is no draw back to being honest for me.

    :-/

if they don’t like my views?? that would make sense because I HATE THEIR VIEWS – DOH! LOL

  • Mandelay

You must know that the Democratic Party is now officially in the hands of the Obama campaign and, in effect, Barack Obama is the head of the party. This means that nobody with any power in the party can make a move without clearing it first with Obama. If Hillary wants to stay in the party she must at some point play ball with these rats. That’s politics. But we, the people who vote, are not beholden to Obama for our careers. Therefore, if Hillary does not get the nomination and if she does not run as an Independent (hope she does/she has my vote always), we the people must send a message to the Democratic Party once and for all. Find a way to make your vote count against the Party in November, even if Hillary agrees to be the “Health Care Czar.” Find a way to make your vote count … if you can’t vote for McCain, try to drum up more votes for another candidate who already has a significant base and who is on the November ballot. Don’t think Hillary can make it on to the November ballot as the signatures needed in every state won’t be filed in time. Who’s left? McCain, Paul, Nader? Figure out how to cast your vote so that the Democrats lose by as big a margin as possible. Hillary might be back as a Democrat in 2012, but so will Obama. The only way to break Obama’s hold on the party is to break the power of the party. I hope Hillary can find a way to run as an Independent or that some other party will give her their line on the ballot. She’s much too good to be lost and it’s obvious now that the Democratic Party wants the Clinton family out.

  • s. hall

corel — The damage that Obama has already done to race relations is immeasurable. This should have been a campaign about ideas instead its about Obama and his hate filled books–his pals who hate this country and its people. The media looks the other way because the fix is in and now he has set about destroying the Democratic Party and its great leaders Bill and Hillary Clinton. I am angry and sad that this divisive man is the best we can offer to the world in these horrific times.

    It is all so transparent.

  • Andy

I think we should all start writing to HRC (see her website).

Please be forceful but polite but tell her:

    (1) we don’t want her to back down an inch: to Denver (b/c of whatever you wish to tell); be forceful but polite)

    (2) not to try to pacify us or enter into a compromise w/Obama. We do not view him as viable, legitimate nor electable. Ask her not to forget what has just happened in the last few months. That the Democratic Part as it was doesn’t not exist anymore and we cannot allow this to be vindicated or rewarded b/c it will just get worse forever. What has been said and done in this primary by the Obama camp and the DNC against women and a variety of other groups is unprecedented and
it would be dangerous if they prevail.

  • Dawnelle

The only way I’ll pull the lever for a Republican is if Hillary is the VP or someone equally brilliant, kind and moderate and not a hater and NOT PRO WAR

Otherwise I’m still writing her in here in NC. NC will go for McCain anyway. This is as of today. Things are changing daily it seems.

  • NY Still loves Hillary

I have 2 suggestions for people as disgusted by the democratic Party as I am should the pre-ordained nomination go to Obama as scheduled:

    1) While it may be too late for Hillary Clinton to run as an Independent in some states, please don’t forget that there are other parties that may already have filed for space on your state’s ticket (ie: Liberal, Working Families, Green, etc.). Find one and figure out what it will take to have Senator Clinton as their nominee, then let everyone in your state know how they can still vote for her in November. They will be thrilled to have wide-spread support and publicity for their party.

    2) When voting for down-line candidates, DO NOT ever vote for them as a democrat; select them on any other party line. In most states, the party with the most votes gets placement at the top of the ballot so let’s be sure the the “New” democrats never get that placement again. If you support a state/local candidate, make sure they know you will not vote for them on the dem line so they ask for the support of another legit party and you can vote them in. BTW – this strategy also will work for Republicans who are unhappy with their party’s behavior of late…

Please feel free to share/post these suggestions with anyone and everyone. The America we love is disappearing right before our eyes. This fight is over more than a candidate – it is about our way of life and the Constitutional right to vote. Do not let your voice be silenced!

  • Mr X

It wouldn’t surprise me if Obama appointed Ayers as head of Homeland Security.

  • llamajockey

Barky wants Hillary to drop out and endorse him because he sure as Shite knows he can not make it to the convention with out the wheels falling off his campaign.

Already Uppity has the first CNN report revealing Obamalamadingdong’s dark side.

The Republican operatives have been icing down a raging 12 0′Clock hard on for months now and can not wait any longer for the opportunity to reem the precious little pillow biter a new one, or I should say one of many.

My advice is hang in there Hillary. You will be your party’s and nation’s hero for hanging tough. The Russerts, Olbermann’s Toobin’s, Cafferty’s and Matthew’s will all have to take a big bite out the massive pile of steaming dog crap sandwich you are going to be able to serve them.

It ain’t over folks until the vote at the convention in Denver.

  • Andy

PS: The DNC and the Obama campaign are responsible for the media and pro-Obama bloggers behavior for they have done NOTHING to call them out. Worse they have encouraged it. So it is on them.

  • Catriley

If Obama takes control of the DNC, I am gone from it forever. It will be the end of the 2 party system, for sure.

But I don’t think it will come to that. Obama’s scandals just keep coming fast and furious. HOward Dean is just too big of an ego to admit that he got hoodwinked at this point… pretty soon, Hillary will be offering OBama a gracious way to get out of the race. ;)

  • It’s Not Me

OT but VERY imporatnt! I just heard this report on Fox. Dee Dee Myers, Bill Clinton’s Press Secretary works for Vanity Fair. Her HUSABAND does too and he wrote a SCATHING article about Bill Clinton that is coming out in the next VF.

Todd Purdum, who is Vanity Fair’s national correspondent. Does anyone know anything about Purdum?

The quotes Fox read were AWEFUL! He’s delving into Bill’s behavior since his heart surgery. He said staffers did an intervention with Bill because of his strange behavior and something about him spending time with women when on the road. There was a quote from GENNIFER FLOWERS, about Bill being a bad husband (and what’s she?), but I can’t remember the exact quote. I haven’t been able to find the article online, but Fox has it.

They got this out today to waylay the Obama video! I know they did.

Why would Dee Dee Myers do this???? I cannot believe it.:(

  • s. hall

According to Lou Dobbs Hillary has until the end of June to decide if she wants to run as an Independent and there is enough time to get the signatures on the ballots.

Just because Hillary decided to run for the Presidency The Democratic Party should not force her wear a scarlet letter in the Senate. They are warning all of us women to shut up and go along with the program.

You’re right Obama is running the party now and the anti-women agenda is obvious.
They know how angry women are and they are saying nothing to placate us. When I see women manhandled at the DNC Rules Committee hearing I see a new day dawning for this Democracy and its frightening.

  • Catriley

I’m trying to imagine Hillary, a cabinet member, sitting quietly at around the table while President Obama flubs his way through questions from the press. I think it would look an awful lot like the expression Condi Rice usually has when Bush is speaking to the press — complete mortification, and resentment that the village idiot is in the top spot instead of her.

No way in hell should Hillary accept anything from Obama.. especially to be hidden away in a cabinet.

  • Catriley

Geez.. is Vanity Fair a tabloid now???? Gennifer Flowers? WTF? I thought that horse had been put out to pasture.

If no indicm ents or serious vetting by the press using a simple Google, AYERS, AUCHI, Iraqi war corruption, Rezko, the ones we know of, then it is our duty to shut it down.

While Obama’s campaign threaten Recreate ‘68, Hillary’s vanguard will promise 1968 multiplied. While Obamabots attention span will drift back to IPODs and Gameboys, the adults will wrestle this thing under control or tear it down. We’ve got nothing to lose but our right to ‘one person one vote’ and a corrupt political system.

The thing that matters is all Obama ways of his dealing-His bad Judements-His hate-He is in this for something and trust me it’s not for our country.

He is planted here for a reason

  • It’s Not Me

Yep. As I posted above, I read part of that article to page 2 (out of 8) and as soon as Purdum blamed Bill Clinton for Hillary’s AA problem in SC Primary, I quit reading it. It’s definitely a hit piece! SOB

  • Sugapea

    This is bizarre!
Obama peeps don’t realize…we’re trying to save America.
Don’t they realize Obama can’t win without our votes…and this is the way they respond to us? By dissing us…they insure an Obama loss. Truly bizarre!

Friends of Clinton who advocate a convention fight shouldn’t work in the party ever again
Sunday, June 01, 2008–John Aravosis wrote:

It’s time to stop playing games. As someone who was a Republican until I came out in 1991, and then never went back, I know a thing or two about party loyalties. You don’t get to switch back and forth, lest neither side trust you. You pretty much get to switch one time, and even then you’d better be able to prove you’re for real.
Well, now it’s time for Hillary’s staff and supporters to pick a side. It’s their one chance, and there’s no coming back.
It would seem that a number of Hillary’s top supporters, and a lot of her fans, are more comfortable helping a Republican become president if Hillary can’t win the nomination. Some of that is, understandably, just talk – it sucks to lose, people are are angry. But at this late date, cheap talk is no longer acceptable. We have to reunite our party in time to successfully take on John McCain. And people like Mandy Grunwald, Harold Ickes, Terry McAuliffe, Howard Wolfson, and so many of Clinton’s other staff, surrogates and rich donors have already caused major damage to those efforts. Hillary and her team have successfuly changed the national mood, of Hillary’s supporters, at least, from one of disappointment that their candidate lost, to one of outright anger that her nomination was supposedly stolen away because she’s a woman. That’s ludicrous. Yeah, there’s been some sexism by irrelevant third parties, but I just don’t believe that Hillary lost because a guy is selling nutcrackers in the airport. Hillary lost this race because Obama ran a better campaign.
(Not to mention, I still get a chuckle out of the fact that Hillary’s supporters think a white woman faces more obstacles in America than a black man. Not to go all Hillary-morbid on this, but for all the anti-Hillary hatred in America, Obama is the one dealing with far more speculation about his safety, and it’s not because no one cares about Hillary’s safety. It’s because a lot of Americans, at least bigots in America, have a far greater problem accepting blacks than they do women. It doesn’t mean women have it easy. It does mean, however, that Hillary’s supporters should stop pretending that it’s easier to be black in America than a woman.)
Up until now, you guys claimed you were still fighting because the brave people of Florida and Michigan needed you. Well, they don’t you any more. Yesterday, the brave representatives of the brave people of Florida and Michigan reached a deal acceptable to them. You no longer have standing, or the right, to continue a battle on behalf of the people of Florida and Michigan when those very same people have decided that the battle is over and settled to their satisfaction. If you continue fighting now, it’s for your own personal ego; it’s because you want to see Obama lose in the fall.
Hillary and her supporters have this week to get on the bus, or the bus is leaving, and they’re not going to like where it’s left them. If Hillary’s top supporters and staff think it’s better to take this lost battle to the convention, in an effort to hurt our party’s nominee and help John McCain become president (where he can launch a few more wars, reinstate the draft and put every American’s kids at risk, appoint at least two more justices to the Supreme Court and overturn Roe v. Wade (which he says he wants to do)), then please do help put another George Bush in power for another four to eight years.
But if you do that, know that you’re no better than Joe Lieberman. You’re no better than Dick Morris. You’re no better than any Republican who got us to where we are today – bankrupt, at war, hated worldwide, and with an economy in tatters. And just remember, Republicans don’t get hired as consultants in the Democratic party.

  • PamFL

Seriously-Axelrod is probably going to get a cabinet position. Tainted, but not like Ayers. He could be the democratic version of Rove-think about it.

  • Zee

I think a smarter way would be to “half a buck” the DNC. Request donation forms. I believe if you donate a tiny amount it actually costs them more to process it and they lose money. So half a dollar to represent half a voter, and half a delegate. Be sure to mark the check in response to “half-a-vote, half a buck you.”

And…this is the best part. Donate as generously as one can to Hillary, copy that check and include the xeroxed amount to show the DNC who we really support.

Well, just an idea, if anyone wants to improve on it, put up a page, etc.

    ===

Also, a question…I saw someone else was wonder if noquarter was hacked last night when all one got was an error page that read “It Works!”

Tennessee Guerilla Women seems to be down, too, and I’m wondering if there might be plans to hijack our sites for tomorrow?

So, anyone know what’s going on with the access?

  • wac for hillary

Gennifer probably needs a little cash. I guess next they’ll trot out Paula. I doubt they’ll mess with Susan McDougal since she kicked their asses the last time they went headhunting.

I think someone needs to do a serious clinical study of what makes a person become a rabid Clinton hater because I think there is something psychologically wrong with them–beyond the simple greed and jealousy.

  • PamFL

Don’t you think it’s likely that BO will reward Axelrod and Plouffe with plum positions. Bet Axelrod will take Rove’s old post. Two of a kind.

  • s. hall

drkate–let them blame me and all the other Hillary supporters if Obama loses. Then let them blame Howard Dean for not vetting this guy and his wife. Then they can blame the Democratic Old Timers who thought Obama would bring them a New Democratic Party to sit and do nothing in.

    Let the blame game begin….

  • Peter

That was nothing. He referred to one trip on which Clinton was with his daughter. It seemed more an indictment of Burkle etc that Clinton associates with. Maybe he’s trying to spin that if Obama is accountable for the people he associates with, someone who isn’t running for president is also.

  • wac for hillary

I want her to be President; she is the most qualified. But I also want to make absolutely sure that Obama has no chance of winning in the GE if he is handed the nomination. For that reason I want her to remain in the Senate, let McCain kick Obama’s butt, and then run again in 2012.

  • s. hall

Shainzona — did everyone drink Koolaid while the rest of us were asleep? I am shocked by the stupidity of it all. Thank God My DD threw me out last May. Look what I have spared myself.

  • Zee

Sugapea, I’m guessing that log cabin John A. is a mole, still a rethug placed to be of use when it came down to installing a “fauxgressive” puppet like Oblah blah.

Same with Ariana and markos. “You only get to change once.” Lunacy. Rethugs never really change and they always convert back. Almost every rethug I ever saw who became disgusted by Bush eventually converted back, either via Libertarian or “independent” — usually through Lou Dobbs on the “immigrant problem.”

I’m into punishing the DNC, but for the purpose of reclaiming our party, not abandoning it. Voting McCain doesn’t make me a “republican” — any more than those voting for Obama the post-partisan hack are “democratic.”

  • Dawnelle

    I love your thoughts

I surely hope you are correct!!!

  • eurogirl70

who the hell Mr. Aravosis was kissing Joe Lieberman’s ass? Oh yeah, that’s right, it was Barack Obama. Hillary on the other had immediately wrote a check to Ned Lamont for $4600 upon his Democratic primary win.

These same so-called progressives were the very same assholes that were voting for Nadar in 2000 because they said that there was no clear difference between Gore and Bush. Now they refuse to see the overwhelming similarities between Obama and Bush and have the nerve to say that we are the ones ruining the party. John Aravosis can go fuck himself!

  • eurogirl70

  • s. hall

Zee it happened to me on this site too. In fact its not working well now. I bet this is exactly what they are going to do if Mrs. O’s whitey rant comes out tomorrow. However, we are going to find out the truth anyway and if the majority of people want to vote for people who hate the rest of us — then the Pod people rule.

  • Stanley Evans

My wife made a good point yesterday. Hillary must throw her support behind Obama if he’s the nominee. If she doesn’t, and he loses the GE, its her fault.

Even if she does work her butt off for Obama, and he loses, it’s Hillary’s fault. Damned if you do, damned if you don’t. A nasty catch 22. Obama is a phony, a politician out of a bottle. It’s to bad that Hillary will be blamed if he fails to close the deal one more time.

I don’t want McCain for my president or I would press for Hillary to form an independent party.

Well Heil Aravosis–So we have to get aboard the bus because the bus is leaving. Thats ok John we were planning being under the bus anyway.

Instead of schmoozing us the Democratic tactic is to make us even angrier. We must all join the Obama bandwagon or what Aravosis? What is your threat? We are not causing Obama to lose — the fact is that you guys cannot keep Obama’s problems from the public any longer. His negatives are going up daily. His major mistake was to take on icons like the Clintons and turn them into gutter trash. The country ain’t buying it.

So rant away — and when the video comes out with Michelle slamming whitey you will be strangely silent. And as far as forcing people like me to vote for Obama — forget it. Oh but if he gets in make my burka loose — cause at my age I get the vapors.

Okay, I just slogged through the 8 (yawn) pages of the Vanity Fair article, waiting for the other shoe to drop. Never happened. The only thing this guy has done is point to the people around Bill Clinton and suggest that either:

    1) Because they’re having sex with young girls, he must be. (Never mind that he’s 61 and on heart meds that would preclude ED drugs)
    2) The author doesn’t care for Bill Clinton’s aide, so there must be some impropriety there. (He was cleverly also able to find others that don’t care for the aide, so he must be evil indeed.)
    3) Bill Clinton allowed some people the author suggests *may* be scurrilous to donate money to his Foundation, which was then used for charitable work around the world. (Is there a better use for their money?)

Where’s the beef? There is none, but there is a healthy serving of “bitter” sauce.

then i saw his face color changing and i don,t wanna enbarrase my dad too much —but i could not help it so —

so i eneded it by saying ***papa u won,t understand, its a woman thing ,ask mom how she feels about it ,by the way papa, have you ever been called a bitch ?and then be told –that u deserve to be called a bitch***

You’re right, this makes me furious. How long must women be expected to do the work, implement their own ideas, and then let the thin-resume man get the credit? “Pilot Mr Obama’s reform”????? WTF?

  • candymarl

It’s funny that most of the media, written and TV, never seem to find any negative stories about Obama. No politician is that clean.

No stories about Ayers unrepentant terrorist or Rezko slum landlord. Excuses are made for the behavior of Wright and Pfleger (sp?).

But they can find out stuff about Bill, not Hillary mind you, but Bill. Most of it’s old, rehashed, or speculation. As for Bill’s behavior after his heart surgery it’s not that uncommon. Some people do exhibit bizarre behavior after heart attacks or heart surgeries and even doctors aren’t sure why.

But there’s a big difference between a video and what other people say Bill has or hasn’t done. This is the age of visuals.

One would think the DNC leadership would put a stop to this but they won’t. According to a poster at TM Howard Dean called Geraldine Ferraro a racist.

This is not good. Some bloggers and journalists speculated months ago that the WH was the Dems for the taking. If they didn’t snatch defeat from the jaws of victory – again. Looks like the snatching has begun.

Who died and left you Aravosis in charge of me? John don’t worry about us getting aboard the Obama bus before it leaves we plan to be under the bus anyway.

I think you are a bit caught up in the politicking aspects.

I have watched Obama and seen too many lies and blatant manipulations to be comfortable voting for him. That’s been true for me for months now. I could not vote for him in good conscience.

I don’t like McCain’s policies, but he has integrity, which Obama lacks.

The recent exposes are interesting to me, but they only validate what I already knew.

I won’t vote for Obama because he’s not right for the job.

The article about Bill Clinton wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. There was nothing in there that would indicate he was running around or doing anything he should’nt. I want him to be as rich as he can possibly be. He and Hillary deserve all the riches the world has to offer. They gave more than any couple should have to give to this country.

The article was a little more critcal than it needed to be. I love Bill Clinton no matter what he does, and he will go down as one of the greatest presidents we have ever had. I still think his heart is in the right place. He may be a politician, but I think his compassion and caring for people is real and outweighs any of his so called “sins.” I will cry huge crocodile tears if anything happens to him before I leave this earth.

  • Kathy

It really wasn’t a bad article. People still blame Clinton for SC, but anyone that really keeps track of the truth knows that is a lie. It was more critical of his aide (Band) than it was of Clinton.

It was the same old crap. Talked about Clintons anger. I would be angry too if I were Clinton.

He is the best and has taken more shit than anyone should have to.

I still love and revere both of the Clintons and always will. Nothing anyone says will ever change my mind. I still love listening to him. He is a brilliant guy and a great teacher. I have learned a lot from him over the years. He knows how to explain history so that anyone can understand.

He would make a fabulous teacher but he is much more than that. I just want him to enjoy the rest of his life and find peace and contentment. I know he would love a grandchild to pieces. I hope he gets to experience the love of a grandchild. There is nothing like it, and it is unconditional.

I put my country before any political party. Barack Obama is not qualified nor does he have the moral authority to be President of a diversified country. He is a racist. How could he be President for all the people when he has friends who are not main stream, has associated himself with a racist church for 20 years and has never had an outstanding accomplishment which qualifies him to be Commander in Cheif. The greatest country in the world needs a leader not a weak racist as it’s President. I will not and can not vote for him. John McCain does have integrity and experience.
