New RNC Ad on Obama

They are not wasting any time in painting Obama as a danger and inexperienced candidate, ultimately not fit to serve as President. This is painful because the arguments that many have laid out during the primary nomination process fell on deaf hears but they won’t come the Fall. It’s a different ball game now and Obama is still in the Pioneer League, he’s not even Triple AAA much less Major Leagues. Welcome to the next Democratic disaster!

  • Joe

    All good points.

  • HARP
  • Linda C.

It is all true. It was true when Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton and Joe Biden said it then. It is true today .

  • victory

That about sums it up. But after Bush, I guess any crackhead can grow up to be a president.

  • AF catfish

Yikes. Good they didn’t just use Hillary’s words.

  • Freedom Fighter

What a joke. Hillary has less experience than Barack Obama. Her 35 years claim is a fairy tale. But Barack’s experience is real. He has been a community organizer working with real people in a real community. He listens to people, he understand people, and he knows how to unite people. Barack will win over more crossover moderate Repubs than the sour grapes Dixiecrats defecting to McKook.

  • kimmy

He’s going down, just watch this pathetic bastard wither and crumble over the next few months. The sad thing is that it won’t even be his fault when he loses in November; with him and his adorers, it’s never his fault.

  • Michael

…where oh where is the “whitey tape” We need this to come out before the convention. BADLY! I cross my fingers every day. We need Madame President!

  • Mahan Atma

I’m sure that if Hillary had been nominated, the Republicans would NEVER had said anything negative about her…

You guys are delusional. You think maybe there’s a reason so many conservatives tried to back Hillary???

  • Michael

BHO is a criminal, and MUST BE STOPPED!

  • catherine

They would REPEAT the same crap they’ve been repeating for nearly 20 years and NEVER stuck.

The Obamabots are delusional and plain stupid! If Hillary has baggage Obama has friggin’ cargo!

  • artist

Like Maggie’s site says, the Supers don’t vote until the Convention.

  • Mahan Atma

    Here’s a good point:

If McCain wins, Roe v. Wade will be overturned, or at the very least, severely restricted a la Casey.

Now, I realize that many of Hillary’s supporters won’t be personally affected by this. But perhaps those women will think of their daughters, or other young women, if they never bore any.

You all need to recognize that your spite carries a price. A very, very steep price.

  • Kristine

The RNC released another video challenging Obama’s thin resume. I’m totally, well not totally, but I’m extremely floored by the DNC.
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5HhWwBTGQS8

I have a secret hope that this is just part of an elaborate plan to allow Hillary to distance herself from the left-wing so she can run a more effective general election.

The media has spent the last 2 decades calling her an extreme liberal, but now even the right-wingers are defending her.

    Here’s hoping.

  • jjran

All that was said during during the primary that Obama will not be elected president… that he has no experience…. that he has not done a damn thing where very clear to the American people. They listen and responded by voting in numbers for Hillary…. But the DNC and the Obama media decided to ignore that vote, stole votes, delegates and change rules, punished FL and MI and gave the nomination to that faithless piece of shit. Now all we have to do is flush him down into history by voting for McCain. To make sure the likes of Donna, Coward Dean, Kerry and Kennedy get throught their thick skulls. NO TO OBAMA

  • Michael

..I know. But the Super’s are idiots. We need some serious factual evidence to come out in order to get superdelegates and pledged delegates to switch support!

  • Linda C.

Ohhh a community organizer. Hillary Clinton did the same thing in South Texas. Hillary was on faculty too at the Arkansas Law School. Hillary was twice voted the nations top 100 lawyers twice before she was 42. Read something about Hillary Clinton before you take the Obama bait. Senator Clinton is also considered to be one of the top 100 most influential women in American history.

Senator Obama knows how to unite those white rural people that cling to God and guns and don’t like people who don’t look like them. He did want a responsible leader would do. He went right into KY and met them and listened to them and tried to reach out to them and showed he cared. That would be no..he didn’t. Sorry looser.

  • Stray

Yeah Right ! Handing the keys to Barack Hussein Obama is like handing the keys to your new Corvete to your 16 year old that just got their license!

  • thenana1

Well damn I can only guess what this is about youtube does not work on my damn laptop/dial-up!

    Hillary/McCain 08

  • call not your sweeti

The scary spooky music adds a nice touch. Background music for the Obama presidency…

  • sjl106

LOL kinda figured still in the acne stage.

  • fred

Obama is at Hillary’s and Bill home asking them to sell their soul 4 da blak man

  • jessie

Can you come up with something original. Other trolls have tried that crap. How long has Roe v. Wade not been overturned?

Besides, you all say we are all dried up non-sexual women so why should we care? We do but now it is time for the young screaming girls who adores Obama/Marxist to fight the fight.

We tired of walking the line for the boys. Let their new TROPHY WIFE OBAMA/MARXIST do it for them.

    NO OBAMA/MARXIST
    MCCAIN 2008

  • Mahan Atma

    Oh really?

Because Bill’s been up to a lot of shenanigans lately. Look at the people who’ve been giving him money. His fellow travelers. Lot of unsavory types there.

As for Hillary herself, you all scream and yell about the sexism she’s been subjected to, and how that cost her the primary.

Yet the Republicans never even got going on that score.

So tell me, did sexism lose her the primary among Democrats? If so, how is it that she could manage to win the general election, when Republicans and so-called “Independents” are about, oh, a thousand times more sexist?

  • Joe

Better to sacrifice Roe than to have a POTUS who is intimately connected with extremists like Wright, Phleger, Meeks, Farakkan and Ayers supporting terrorists sitting in the White House and completing the job that Bush started. Try again with something else more scary, sweetie.

  • sjl106

I love the video and obama actually believed he took out Hillary and Bill…LOL

  • rwc

    The first of many. Good.

I want the DNC and DNP to choke on their politically correct multicultural frankenstein.

Slightly OT: Lets not forget some of the comments made in Obama’s St. Paul speech, which make mark him as a meglomaniac.

    Comments such as:

    * this was the moment when we began to provide care for the sick and good jobs to the jobless;
    *this was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal;
*this was the moment when we ended a war and
secured our nation and restored our image as the last, best hope on Earth.

This was the moment – this was the time – when we came together to remake this great nation so that it may always reflect our very best selves, and our highest ideals.

These aren’t the comments of a POTUS candidate, they are the comments of a witch doctor or high priest promising the besoted followers manna from heaven.

And clear that the Obama campaign isn’t a political campaign but a cult, and why it should be stopped.

  • thenana1

Freedom and country have a price they always have and they always will.

If the young people loose their rights, by being blinded by “IDOLS”, then they will have to learn to live with their mistakes and take responsibility for their actions.

  • Mel

Let’s see the truth Obama faces aside from millions of Democrats for McCain!

On Experience: Obama served 8 years as a State Senator prior to becoming a US Senator. But State Senators in Illinois work only a manditory 60 days/yr, it is a part time job! Thus compared to a US Senator, Obama worked the equivilent to two yrs tops.

On Positions: Obama flip flops to meet whomever he encounters and based upon Obama’s record, he has only one position, seeking power!

On Charater: Rev Wright, Father Pflger, Rezko, Ayers, Dohrn, Daley, Michelle Obama, enough said, except he is a communist as well!

On Community Service: Seeked out political people and did nothing for of the underprivelged, just seeked his own associations.

On Harvard Law Review: with powerful Professosrs backing him like Ms Minow and using minority rights, Obama became the first Editor with never publishing a single thing, but his use of minority status got him the placement!

On Religion: Claims to be Christian, yet repeatedly lies in a church in Selma, something completely unheard of by a true Christian, but not by a Muslim!

On work in State Senate, the GOP will drag out Republican Senators who will speak of Obama’s name being forced on legislation by Emil Jones, to further Obama’s career!

On US Senate, empty chair on the Oversight for NATO board.

In campaign for Dem Nominee, the racial injjection, the words of opposing candidates and Obama’s lies on NAFTA, Wright, Ayers, and the list goes on and on! Simply to Evangelicals alone, Obama’s lies in a house of worship will bring them out in full strength, so there goes the black vote eliminated and latino’s who are devoutly christian!

Add to it Michelles first time in her life speech and Baracks continual goofs like 57 states and in Sunshine Fla and on and on and on!

In a head to head, for example if McCain picks Colin Powell as VP, Obama is toast!

Clinton defections are a requirement by Obama to find 2 new voters for ever one Clinton supporter defection.

On takign no money from Lobbiests, the GOP will trounce Obama and reveal individuals who are bundling in a new form of lobby fundraising!

When the dust settles will be a country painted in Republican Red, but safer that then Communist Red!

    Bye Obama!

  • Freedom Fighter

We will finally have a real black president, and the nation can finally write the racist redneck hillybilly, embarassment of a couple out of our Democratic history book forever.

    Obama 08!

  • Mahan Atma

“How long has Roe v. Wade not been overturned?”

You’re not paying attention. The Supreme Court cut into it pretty significantly the last term with the Carhart decision.

They might not overturn Roe outright — but they sure as hell will chip away at it, bit by bit, until it’s rendered comparatively meaningless.

Not to mention all the other issues the Supreme Court will determine for the next umpteen decades…

Seriously, how many of you folks are actually Republicans? Because you sure sound like it sometimes.

  • NoBama

I am getting tired of hearing from the Obama campaign about women’s issues they failed to address at all during this campaign.
Now we are to believe that they are so “concerned” about Roe vs. Wade.
Roe vs. Wade will never be overturned. Obama needs to stop the scare tactics. He thinks women are stupid and we care only about one issue, a non-issue in fact. Well, they are wrong.
Reagan put liberal and moderates on the court. All SC appointees are approved by Congress.
McCain is a moderate Republican and I trust his judgement more than Obama.
Now, I think I am done.

  • jjran

“street organizer for the worst church in America… a church he now disowned is not an experience that qualified him for president of USA…. that might qualify Obama for president of fricking Kenya…maybe.!

  • Mahan Atma

Here’s the Carhart decision from last term:

    http://www.law.cornell.edu/supct/html/99-830.ZS.html

    Read it yourself.

These aren’t “scare tactics”, it’s friggin’ reality.

    WAKE THE FUCK UP.

  • Northwest rain

Obamabot — back up that statement about snObama “experience” with facts — a list of legislation he has passed.

You can’t because he has the emptiest resume I’ve EVER seen from anyone running for Prez of the US.

His part time job with the Illinois Senate — was a joke — he was HANDED bills already written and his name was slapped on the bills.

On the other hand Hillary Clinton has a very THICK resume of her accomplishments. But then you Obamabots are merely a bunch of low intelligence jerks who show up and insult Senator Clinton.

  • Strawberry

That was FABULOUS!!! Oh my God. Trophy wife. Too Much! That’s exactly how I feel. Most girls these days don’t even bother to vote anyhow (Obama Girl), so I’m tired of keeping their friggin’ reproductive rights safe.

  • drkate

NO thank you. Please don’t satisfy your white guilt on me. This is exactly what obama and his flock of followers are about, appeasing to white guilt. Thats why it is so easy for you to call HRC supporters racist.

    FUCK YOUR WHITE GUILT!

  • Freedom Fighter

    The case for Obama:

    1. Intelligence – Columbia, Harvard, editor of Harvard Law Review.
    2. Eloquence – His speech on race was universally heralded as the best since “I have a Dream”.
    3. Charmisma – He is the most inspirational candidate since JFK.
    4. Honesty – He isn’t bought and paid for by corrupt lobbyists.
    5. Judgment – Right on the war then, right on the war now.
    6. Unity – Barack is uniquely in position to solve the greatest problems in America, racism!

    Obama 08!

  • standard

The DNC should have thought of that when they threw
    the election.

As much as I support R vs W, I will not vote for a
    corrupt politician.

I will not see our whitehouse turned over to Axelrot.

If I continue to support slime and corruption, when
    will it get cleaned up?

    It won’t.

This is the only power that I have to clean up this
shit of a party. I DO NOT VOTE FOR A CANDIDATE
    OF A STOLEN ELECTION.

NOW GET YOUR ROE VS WADE ASS OUT OF HERE.

An absolute load of Bullsheet pal.

Your guy Barky already changed the Court so that even the NYT is squeelin’ about it.

It’s the Corporatist Court now and pretty soon if there is any justice you boss will make you wear diapers just like Foster Farms does now so you don’t have to leave your desk to shitthe production line.

And all thanks to Barky! His votes let Alito and Roberts on which fact you would know if you were not so ill-informed.

  • Dakinikat

That’s the interesting thing … it’s not really even up to the swiftboating timbre yet … just imagine when THAT starts. This is effective without the scare tactics and hysteria.

  • drkate

This would be a correct characterization of Obama, and I am glad this is up. All of the appeasers will ahve to explain themselves, and Bill Clinton will stand tall as the one who said no.

Obama is weak. All of this will make him weaker. Be prepared, he will blame it on HRC. WE know the truth…he has only himself to blame. And all the idiots who supported him will be shamed. But all still to arrogant to see it until they suffer humiliating loss.

  • Strawberry

Oh sure he will, Rev. Wright will make sure of that!!!LOL. Thanks for the laugh. I damned near choked on my Cabernet….uh…Budwiser.

Those videos by the RNC are sure coming out fast and furious now and all of them hard hitting, I only hope Hillary does not align her self to this man it is going to be the biggest mistake she can ever make.

Looking at video after video and I know they are going to get rougher there is no way Obama is going to be able to deal with this onslaught, no wonder he is meeting with Hillary tonight he is looking for help already.

  • Northwest rain

    That is one sick bastard!

He thinks he’s Jesus Christ — for god’s sake.

He thinks all he has to do is speak and the red sea is parted???

Well I wonder who the hell wrote that speech for the Precious?

  • Freedom Fighter

And Clinton was in a secret church with Republicans while she was the first lady. That alone should disqualify her as the Democrat nominee.

Bush put the handcuffs on us. Barack Hussein Obama will through the keys away. That much power to quick to someone so untried. That much power in the hands of a rookie? Nice message of change his ultimate lie. Sounds like Hitler to me.
Obama’s record does not show enough experience, desire or commitment. With no clue how to undo the trespass of Bush.

Obama will be the Anti Christ if not by purpose then he will be by accident.

  • abfabdem

Then I’m sure he will win in a landslide. Enjoy!

  • Michael

Everyone remember…. Obambi was selected. But, Hillary was elected.

Madame president is the choice of the people and the winner of the MOST VOTES.

    DUH.

  • jjran

Obama is HALF black………….. He spent half of his life running away from being black till he joined the hate-church of JR. Married a black woman and now said… he is black….. After disowning the very church that made him black… he now talked about him mother to show America his white side. Obama is a two face slimy faithless bastard. Could you imagine Obama in Vietnam prison, he would have sold American to the communist. Obama is nothing but an egotistical lying piece of shit with no sense of country, duty and or honor. He is a totally embrassment to represent the DP.

  • drkate

wrong again. We don’t support obambi because he is not qualified. We are ardent democrats who are concerned about where the party is going.

Now go home, have your milk and cookies, and have dreams of curtains in your new office in obama land. All your toys I am sure will be there.

    Beat it, stooge.

  • SJ

Is it not strange that now we are hearing that Rev Wright is not really retiring, now what is really going on there?

Was this all a ploy so now that Obama has the nomination he is going back for his old job, I don’t want to believe that is was a plan, but it sure seems kind of hard to swallow that all of a sudden am seeing on FOX that Rev Wright is rethinking his position and saying the young pastor needs guidance.

    What the hell is that??

  • abfabdem

Mahan, why are you here? Get thee over to KOS where they will appreciate and enjoy your inspired comments.

  • http://noquarterusa.net/blog/ Truthteller

Why are male Obamabots who voted for a man who cast at least 11 present votes on choice legislation in the illinois state senate attempting to scare us by raising the specter of the revocation of roe v. wade? such tactics are those deployed by republicans, not by democrats. fear will not motivate us to vote for obama. besides, hillary clinton and other women in the senate will ensure roe v. wade is protected.

if we were truly concerned with women’s rights, we would have nominated the woman who has been are tireless advocate for women for 35 years. but the obamabots had to nominate the sexist who cast present votes on choice legislation.

  • Jay

“the rise of the oceans began to slow” … does he actually believe that he possess some type of supernatural powers… this man is dangerous!

  • street_parade

Roe v. Wade cannot be over-turned by McCain, it can only be over-turned by the Supreme Court. McCain cannot unilaterally appoint anyone to SCOTUS he can only nominate. The Senate has to approve any candidate put before it. The Senate is controlled by the Democrats — are they incapable of fighting back against a Republican President?

  • Northwest rain

What a racist you are: “rednecked hillbilly” you call the Clintons. May you rot in hell — your own hell.

You only wish we were republican and then we would not be democrats leaving the party and your beloved Obama/Marxist.

I guess you just won’t believe it till we November comes and he does not get our votes.

We are democrats just not the ones Donna Brazile wants in the party any longer.

We are gone and we are taking our votes.

  • Strawberry

Yeah, unsavory types like Bush’s father. Trust me on this one, republicans pissed at Bush were willing to crossover to Hillary as punishment. And I couldn’t believe all the women in my family who were going to vote for Hillary. Oh did I mention I’m the only democrat in a sea of republican family members. ALL OF THEM! Like 30 of them. And after seeing the way Hillary was treated by her own party even the guys wanted to vote for her. It was friggin’ bazaar. It’s like she earned their respect. Conservatives love strong leaders and Hillary blew them away with her ability to take hits and keep coming back.

  • abfabdem

I bet now he will bring up his mother and grandparents a heck of a lot more than he did in the primary. How two-faced!!

  • POdVet

The Republicans could have overturned Roe V Wade any time between 2001 and 2006. They did not even try. If they do it, they lose a campaign issue that draws from the religious right. The same reason they keep putting gay marriage on ballots. They KNOW it’s unconstitutional, but it gets out the right wing vote. Thats why the Republican Supreme Court of California ruled that the “ban” was unconstitutional the way it was written. It will now be on the November ballot as an “Issue” in California. So the Right Wing will turn out in droves in California come November to vote against gay marriage just like they did in 2000 and 2004! And while they are in that booth, those right wingers wont be voting Obama…

  • Mel

    The case NOT for Obama:

    1. Intelligence – Columbia, Harvard, editor of Harvard Law Review. Marks locked up and Editor of Law Review never publishing a thing, but using minority status for advancement and a Professor Martha Minnow, dasughter of Minnow of Sidley Austin to get posting!

    2. Eloquence – His speech on race was universally heralded as the best since “I have a Dream”.
A speech used to protect a disgusting Reverand and friend who he eventually threw under the bus, all in an attempt to save his ass! Universally causing the opening of old wounds in an attempt to save his ass and without any merit as evident by his following actions!

    3. Charmisma – He is the most inspirational candidate since JFK. Not even in the same class as JFK!

    4. Honesty – He isn’t bought and paid for by corrupt lobbyists. Chicago combine, Rezko, enough said!

    5. Judgment – Right on the war then, right on the war now. Lies on war, truth came out in 2004 when admitting he had no idea how if in a possition to have to vote, thus a say whatever for advancement personally! If he was Honest, he would not have spoke in favor of Kerry at the 2004 Dem Convention!

    6. Unity – Barack is uniquely in position to solve the greatest problems in America, racism! Obama caused the racial discord, he is the last person to fix what he created!

No Obama, worst thing since the invention of the wheel!

    Mahan Atma:

How can you be so ignorant as to how our government works?

Pres. nominates SENATE CONFIRMS. If Rvs Wade is overturn it will be on the Democratic Senate shoulders that didn’t block it.
    And FYI:

    (1) Reagan nominated Sandra O’Connor, Bush I nominated Souter and back when the Dems. had any spine at all
    they blocked Robert Bork .

    (2) Obama wanted (in his heart and strongly) to vote for John Roberts.
he was convinced by Pete Rouse to change his vote to a “no” no to alienate the left given he needed it for the primary.

    (3) Senate will have a much tougher time bvlocking a BAD nominee from a Dem Pres. than from a Rep. Pres.

So, VOTE DEMS for Congress if you worry about RvW.

I am strongly pro-choice and as such have the right to choose which issues to vote on in the GE.

  • uhh somehow this notion that I am qualified to be president is uhh uhh ridiculous

No one said sexism cost her the primary. Your candidate’s cheating and manipulation did that, with help from the biased media and the undemocratic Democratic Party. The misogyny was just another unacceptable bi-product of the immoral Obama campaign.

And one more thing: all those “Dem.” Senators that voted together with republicans to make the majority confirmed John Roberts; all of them? They were all Superdelegates supporting Obama. Okay?

  • http://www.illusionofjoy.net Seth Warren

    1.) True.

2.) Good with prepared speeches, but falters on his feet. “The race speech” has lost its lustre, especially as he has subsequently disavowed Wright and resigned from Trinity United.

3.) Open to debate; I do not find Obama particularly inspiring. This is subjective opinion which can not be quantified.

4.) Actually, he is beholden to lobbyists. We’ve all been lied to that he isn’t. Furthermore, he has numerous ties to and within the corrupt Chicago political machine – nothing honest about that.

5.) He never had a change to vote on the war and was later quoted as saying that his opinions regarding it matched those of George W. Bush. Furthermore, whenever a bill has come up to vote on continuing funding for the war, Obama has voted “yes.”

6.) An average of 90% of the black vote and 20% of the white vote (give or take) does not look unified to me. In fact, it looks like exactly the opposite of unity.

You got one out of six – thanks for playing.

  • Test Platform

Community organizer? What a laugh riot, he put up some tables at farmers’ markets and registered people to vote. But then he got bored and went off to Harvard (but he won’t release his grades) and then went to work for a big law firm in Chicago (where he only did 5 hours of work for Tony R.). Yep, he’s a regular Martin Luther King, Jr. Tell it to the people who were freezing in his buddy Rezko’s buildings, you know the ones that were in HIS district.

And if BO’s strategy to win the GE is moderate Republicans he had better find a new strategy FAST! McCain IS a moderate Republican (that’s how right the Repubs have drifted) the right-wing Repubs don’t even like McCain. Maybe BO should try getting far-right Repubs to crossover…now there’s a plan.

…thats cause they are scared shitless bout the “whitey video”. HA! Hopefully it will finally DOOM Obambi. Who’d a thunk that racism would end his campaign, HIS OWN RACISM!

HIllary has more balls than all the Democratic leaders in congress. She is strong. She has brians, she cares about America, She loves this country, she has been working her whole life to change Americans’ life for the better. She respresents what a true democrate should be like. She loves her party and works hard to show Americans that the Democratic Party stands for them……There’s not a single democrate today that would take the fire, the beating that Hillary has taken, and is taking on behave of the party and America…… That is called principle, is called leadership…it’s called guts. Obama has NONE. Zero. If we can’t have Hillary we vote for McCain. Period.

  • kat in your hat

For some reason, I can’t see the ad. Is it the democrats against obama’s experience ad? Guess so.

I’ve seen the ad…it’s true, this is absolutely sooo horrible that “experience” is now perceived as a bad thing? What the heck are we all doing trying to work our way up when everything is handed to certain people for political gain. It’s so unfair and crooked.

    ***
BTW, Obama and Hillary supposedly had a private meeting in DC tonight. I hope they were not discussing the “nightmare ticket”…I would seriously flip out if she became his VP–for so many reasons.

–Everything feels so unjust…so many passes for this man from the media, to the DNC and supers, and it’s just so outrageous.

  • http://www.writehillaryin.com jmk

Watching Fox tonight – from OReilly through Hannity to Greta – and actually glad I did. So down in the dumps today – though never giving in nor giving up – but tonight’s been a lot of laughs! Seems my sense of irony has set in to heal my aching heart.

Morris (obama’s in the tank odinga cohort and Hillary hater) must be getting nervous about his job. Only one on Hannity acknowledging that obama’s in trouble now and his troubles aren’t going away. Emphasizing this to the point that he nearly forgot to throw in his usual sarcastic slams against Hillary.

Then a bozo older analyst, George Will, seeming to think he’s the daddy of America’s naughty girls, insisting women will shape up, come around and give obama his due, be loyal Dems and all that idiocy. And how there’s really no difference between Clinton and Obama, both being far left and same on the issues. Geez, shouldn’t “political analysts” at least be required to have reading ability above 3rd grade, or maybe watch the exit polls of the network that is paying them?

Followed by hero, himself, Oliver North, also author of “Great American Heroes” who said of Obama: He’s”a phony from the top to the bottom, an empty suit. He has an undefined character that the American media has allowed to have
 free run”

All topped off with Politico empty head on Greta, basically giving a tight-lipped directive to Hillary, admonishing her to get “much more enthusiastic” in support of Obama and claiming, like the other morons that emotions will settle and women should come around.

When Greta quoted from her incoming email that it didn’t sound like women were planning to do that, he switched to: Well, if Hillary doesn’t do her duty here – or if she does and her supporters don’t follow – THEN obama should just give some key posts away to a “poor” Latino, etc. So, not to worry obama, we’re told will either whip Hillary into shape and have her command us to vote obama – or, if all else fails, go around us to, in other ways, pander for votes.
That will work! He exclaimed with relief – until his face tightened again, when he added in closing – unless Hillary does something Very Underhanded to Undermine Obama altogether.

Everyone’s attention then shifted to NEWS ALERT from other networks that HILLARY IS RIGHT NOW IN A PRIVATE MEETING WITH OBAMA! That pronouncement got very jumbled when a Fox reporter, who has been sitting outside the Clinton home since “5 AM this morning” insisted their vehicle has not moved all day – and that no one has gone in or come out?!

Greta then commented that this Primary season has, after all, had unpredictable elements and the press doesn’t always know what is going on. Gee, you think? Show closed with controversy that it appears obama is not even invited to Hillary’s speech on Saturday and isn’t it odd that the press aren’t yet informed where Hillary’s Sat. meeting will be held.

The whole scene was – start to finish – so self contradictory and out of control – it really outdid any old Laurel and Hardy Who’s on First? lol

I don’t have any daughters, and if I did I would teach them to use protection or straight out abstain. Stop fear-mongering your way through the web already. McCain knows he needs the middle and will moderate his positions. Obama can’t even get the moderate votes from Hillary. He ain’t got what it takes because he pandered to the far left and the corrupt money donors for his entire Illinois political career and is just now franticaly trying to sever the ties. Too late.

Ugh, enough with the sancitmonious nonsense. First of all, it’s not just a woman’s “problem” if Roe vs. Wade is overturned. I am sure that dumbass male Obamabot may think he is not affected. OF course not! Well, then, dumbass Obamabot, deal with the consequences. Another patriarchal moron, David Hawkins says, it’s up to obama to “use some muscle’ now and demand whatever he wants and she’s got to give it. General agreement again that both candidates are alike anyway. Greta says again that the 2 men flanking her ARE WRONG (Politico and bow-tie Hawkins): ” I’m going to take the last word here. I disagree- she’s got something he wants – 18 million voters – and she’s got the upper hand!

All did I have been hearing about how Hillary has not even invited Obama to her speech on Saturday. Now when Edwards suspended his campaign did he invite anyone?

Is that the norm that you invite your opponent to your withdrawal speech? I really don’t see the relevance of Obama being there but the media sure seems to think he should be there.

I don’t know why the bar always seems to be raised so high for Hillary, she has to invite him,she has to concede, she has to grovel and beg, she has to now bow and worship Obama and then turn around campaign for him and ensure he wins the Presidency.

I really cant understand what it is with the media that Hillary has to now come out and play second fiddle to this man following him around like a lap dog for the world to see, once she is not prepared to so that then she is bitter, she is evil, she wants him to make her VP and the nonsense goes on and on

  • swannyj

Has it ever occurred to you to actually check Obama’s voting record? He has voted Republican more often than not.
Barack voted for Dick Cheney’s 2005 Energy Bill.
Hillary voted no and stood up to the oil companies.

Barack was no where to be found when congress voted on the General Betray Us ad. Hillary voted to affirm Moveon’s right to free speech. (Thanks Moveon.)

confirmation of US Judge Thomas Griffith. (Griffith is fiercely anti Title IX) and thrity women’s rights groups and civil rights groups petitioned congress to reject Grifffith.
    Barack voted yes on Griffith.

Barack voted yes on Bush’s Class Action Fairness Act. (You know the act that has made it harder for people to file Class Action Lawsuits).

Barack voted (affirmed) with the republicans to prolong Terry Schavio’s life.
    Hillary denounced it.

He was going to vote for Roberts until someone suggested that might not be a good decision for his career.
Actually look at his record before trying to lay that crap on us

  • Scully

Underestimating Obama is what got Hillary and her overconfident staff in trouble, so painting him as a minor-leaguer might make you feel better as you sit and watch Fox news, but it’s not going to win the election in November.

If you glanced at McCain’s speech on Tuesday night in front of what seemed to be a very small geriatric ward, then you know you better get some serious grassroots activism going if you hope to defeat Obama in the general. Good luck!

  • street_parade

Sweetie, remember your opponent is McCain now. Clinton bashing isn’t going to do you any good. You have much work to do, 1/2 of the Democratic party (and that’s the most liberal part of the population, no matter what your masters tell you) did not vote for him and 1/2 of them (that’s 1/4 of the Democratic base) have said they are not going to vote for him. Practically every voter you’re dealing with from here on out is MORE conservative than the people who have already said they don’t want him.

What to do, what to do? Oh yeah – HOPE. BO has one good moment left — the traditional ‘dead cat bounce’ that he’ll get from the convention. They ALL get it, even Dukakis and Mondale got it. Savor it, enjoy it.

BO’s not worried, he knows he’s not going to win. But he’s going to get a very lucrative talk show after this is all over. Oprah’s ratings are down – time to strike.

  • Nicole

WOW, this “Freedom Fighter” is a super-grade idiot child. I’m actually laughing hysterically at what he posted:

He wrote: “…Barack’s experience is real. He has been a community organizer working with real people in a real community. He listens to people, he understand people, and he knows how to unite people. Barack will win over more crossover moderate Repubs than the sour grapes Dixiecrats defecting to McKook.”

The li’l boy can’t separate out fantasy from fiction.

Tell me, my fellow sane adults who inhabit this site, how do you think these foolish naifs are going to handle O’s crushing November defeat (that is, IF O’s stupidly handed the nomination in August)?

  • blueasthesky

If he wants to come, maybe he could get her on the phone and say, “Hey, Hillary, I’d really like to be there when you make your speech. I know you didn’t specifically invite me, but maybe that’s because you didn’t think I’d want to come. So, why don’t you invite me, we can all get together and celebrate party unity.”

Why does Hillary have all the burden of bringing the party together? It’s Obama who, not exhibiting any false modesty, claims to have the power to bring people together.

There are those who feel they must tow the party line and there are those who cannot vote for BO because of his blatant lack of experience in foreign policy. You can throw Row Vs Wade at us all day long but it won’t give Obama the resume required to be President of the USA. If it were Edwards who had “beaten” Hillary, I would certainly vote for him. Same with most of the other contendors. However, BO is simply not ready. HE put Roe vs Wade at risk by running on such a thin thread of experience. It is not about clinging to Hillary, it is about having to make a decision about a candidate who many of us consider unqualified, arrogant, and a very bad judge of character. He has strengths as well, and I would never say he is all bad, but I cannot see supporting him with my vote.

I think this is a forshadowing of how Obama will handle dictators: not well.

He humiliates Wright in his “unversally heralded” speech on race, without talking to Wright beforehand to massage a bruised ego. Wright wants to save face, naturally, and appears before National Press Club. To save face, but without slamming Obama, he says yeah Obama had to say that because he’s a politician. Now, Obama is particularly humiliated because Wright called Obama a politician, so he throws Wright under the bus. Wright now definitely humiliated and probably isolated is going to try to regain stature any way he can.

I can’t believe I feel this way but I can feel for Wright! I think he’s a nut but he did feed a lot of people and he helped Obama and Obama treated him like crap!

  • http://deleted AnninCa

Poor, poor Obama. Wright is bound to be very entertaining.

  • Joel

Very true. Obama is not ready to be commander and chief.

  • Sammie

What a powerful commercial (so of course, “they” will blame Hillary for ever saying those things, nevermind that what she and Bill said is representative of what many others think as well).

I don’t know about anyone else, but the manipulative comments attempting to get Hillary’s supporters to fall in line and vote for Obama are becoming so annoying. So far, I’ve seen the threats about: the overturn of Roe v. Wade, the total destruction of the middle class, unnecessary deaths due to a lack of universal health care (even though Kerry said it was off the table), and the deaths of our children and grandchildren in never ending wars.

Well, yes those threats do sound scary, but what is even more concerning to me is the idea of voting for a candidate who I don’t perceive as meeting the minimum required standards for the position (plus, giving in to bullies just never seems like a good strategy). It shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone that some people don’t believe Obama has enough experience, because that concern has come up repeatedly throughout the primary season (there is even a youtube of Obama saying he wouldn’t have enough experience to run in 2008, and I’m surprised the Republicans didn’t add that to the mix).

I believe Obama’s chances are directly correlated to the behavior of the media. As long as the media covers for him, he has a chance to win. If, however, the media were to turn on him, his poll numbers would tank quickly. Tonight on O’Reilly they went very easy on him with respect to his connections to Rezko, and if he can continue to get that type of treatment from Fox of all networks, then he could win in the fall.

At this point I’m so confused about what Obama really stands for, and what his presidency would bring, that I truly agree with what former President Clinton said a number of months ago about it being like a roll of the dice (though judging by the nasty behavior of his supporters on blogs, and the judgment he’s displayed in chosing his spiritual advisors and political patrons, I’m leaning towards believing we would experience more harm than good).

I am confused…If one candidate loses the nomination, but their views are almost identical and one stands behind the winner people will still vote for the other party?

That tells me you werent voting based on issues, but that you were voting because they were either African American or a Woman??

  • jjran

Obama people went after delegates, they bullied them, bribed them, bought them, cheat left and right…. But Hillary took her case to the people and they voted for her. You can’t tell me that if all the super delegates in all the states that Hillary won when with the popular vote Hillary won’t be the elected nominee. How can you explain Kerry and Kennedy support for Obama when MA when for Hillary by 15%? It’s call bribes…. I would like to see how you would do the same in the GE with the electrol college. I would love to see that..

Exactly. When the “guys” dropped out I didn’t see them doing shit for the DNC just sitting back and waiting for crumbs from the last one standing.

But, now Hillary is expected to not only kiss his ass but campaign for him and bring her 18 million voters along. Well, why doesn’t he just ask her to do the dishes when he and Michelle/Marxist are finished dinner.

No, you go back to the kitchen and do your own f*ckin dishes.

Whether the comments are coming from Obama trolls or McCain trolls, the result is the same — more votes for McCain, so please do keep it up.

You Obamabutts (may I still say that?) have called names, hurled insults, brazenly lied and basically tried every possible ploy to get us to vote for him except what might have worked. True you were starting out with a handicap, what with him being painfully unqualified; but if he had shown the slightest decency or respect toward Hillary, women in general, or any of the other groups he went out of his way to insult and denigrate, we might have been able to believe that if elected he would be willing to learn from people like her who do know what they are doing. We might have then been able to support him despite his obvious lack of merit, believing that he would not end up a total and unmitigated disaster as chief executive of this country.

But he chose another path. I doubt that you ever liked Hillary, but I really did consider Obama a viable candidate until he and his unruly mob began to call the Clintons and Hillary’s supporters racists and every other vile name they could think of. If I ever had any doubt the most outrageous of this behavior was condoned by Obama himself, it disappeared when he made obscene and disrespectful gestures toward her.

And his behavior today toward Joe Lieberman further shows what a bully and thug he is. His lack of simple decency or civility in this campaign demonstrates how untrue his “uniter” claims are. He is a complete liar and fraud; and his actions show that he has not only surrounded himself with the most base of associates, but that he is equally foul himself.

I will never vote for him, even for Hillary, not even if she is his running mate; and fortunately for this country it seems that there are many more people who are of the same opinion. McCain is no prize, but he is far ahead of Obama in integrity and ability and love of this country.

  • speaktruth

You don’t get it, do you?
I know McCain and other Repubs are corrupt. Even other Dems have some degree of corruption.
But Obama and DNC stole the election, from stolen caucuses to Michigan and Florida.
He implied that Hillary called for his assassination!
He insulted Bill’s presidency, the greatest president of my lifetime, and someone I love and respect (even though he’s imperfect). He flipped her the bird, made many sexist comments, lied many times, and the DNC made him their leader.
And I see nothing that says he has any idea how to be a good president. He’s been nasty and rude and he’s ruining my party. My party says they don’t want me or my vote.
    That’s why I won’t vote for him.
At some point an abused person says that’s it, no more, and means it. Anything else is unhealthy.

  • street_parade

The only successful Democratic President in 40 years. If you write Bill and Hillary Clinton out of the Democratic history book — you have a history of losers for the last TWO GENERATIONS. Sounds about par for the course for this bunch. Good luck to you and the Whole Foods nation.

  • http://deleted AnninCa

How you conduct your campaign tells me, a voter, a lot about your character. Obama lied repeatedly. He misled people. He refused to be accountable. He weasled.

I don’t admire that, and I won’t vote for him.

I don’t think he’s effective in government, either, so I would expect him to be more the photo op president, which we don’t need.

It has nothing to do with his race or even his odd choice of mentors in life.

It has to do with his character and judgement.

McCain did not go to a Black Liberation Marxist Church for 20 years. You guys need to get something better than that cuz that is not working.

As to the large crowds. I asked my husband about his vote and his voting block. White male you know the ones Donna doesn’t want. He said they don’t yell and scream and make a big deal. They just go quietly to the voting booth and vote.

I assure you for every woman out here that is pissed off at Obama/Marxist there is a man who will not vote for him.

It’s absolutely frightening there are so many parallels to 1932 Germany.

The false ideology cloaked in democratic slogans, the economic strain. Could there have been a more perfect name than National Socialist Party.

The promise of a New World Order.

The war echoes past and future.

The undercurrent of hatred used by a specific minority to fuel some kind of yet to be explained retaliation/reparation/redistribution.

The swelling and swooning of the mass followers.

How many cups of cool-aid have you had today you uninformed Obama cult member. There’s something call qualification. Got that. Obama doesn’t have it and Hillary has. McCain has it and Obama doesn’t. Get it. We are trying to run a country here, the leader of the free world, not a church in Chicago or orgnizing street kids to get jobs. Obama is not qualified to be president. He was selected no elected to be the Dem nominee by a spineless DNC run by Coward Dean and Donna the Airhead. That’s the reason why Hillary supporters will NOT vote for Obama, that faithless slimy weasel. Deal with it.

  • http://www.marcysmutiny.blogspot.com/ MessyMarcy

Obama is not going to do anything that will benefit women. He is a liar who has a record of making promises he has no intention of keeping. Ask the Maytag workers about how he promised to help them and then didn’t lift a finger.

We have a fucking clue. It’s why we’ll never vote for Obama. It is to be hoped that while McCain serves his four years as President, grownups with working brains and who are not suffering from CDS will regain control of the party and rescue it from people like you and your Messiah.

What ever in the world is wrong with you, anyway? Is it a mental disorder?

If it is, I apologize. Perhaps you can’t help yourself.

But you’re one very, very aggressive and rude person who has no business talking to people the way you do.

For all practical purposes in very large swathes of the country Roe v. Wade is already overturned. Women in rural areas have to travel hundreds of miles to get an abortion. In many states there is ONE provider in the entire state. Its a right that remains on the books but in practical terms does not exist for millions of women. These are facts. If there were true equal rights in this country, real feminist principles we wouldn’t be in this place.

As we have seen, only too painfully during this campaign sexism, misogyny whatever you want to call it is thriving in America and some of the worst perpetrators are YOUNG men. There are few positive images of women in the media and it is getting worse not better. Women have many issues that impact our lives reproductive rights is one, but it is not the only one. Lack of respect is probably at the top of my list and I find the Democratic party to be, frankly, a joke (a very bad one) at this point.

What’s your point? That we should vote for unqualified conman Obama because Republicans are almost as slimy as he is? McCain will certainly not be one of the country’s great Presidents, but he has more integrity and ability than Obama.

Why are you even here? Obama has made it clear he does not want our votes and thinks he can win without them. Are you calling him a liar?

And since Obama, Dean, Brazile and Pelosi have made even the Republican Party look like a paragon of virtue when compared to them, your attempted insult is ineffective, much like Obama will be in the GE.

  • AXT

Yes we do. At least McCain will keep us safe and cut the pork out of the budget.

  • street_parade

Hell hath no fury like a Pastor scorned.

  • Muggle

True words, drkate. I actually think that we may be better off with a repub pres, as long as we have enough dems to over ride veto’s. For one, a repub president would continue to own the Iraq fiasco, and they would get bailed out, by having a democrat to take the blame. For another, a democratic president’s bad decision’s would be harder for a democratic majority congress to fight. Look at all the crap bush got through, mostly because the repub majority at that time, didn’t want to go against their repub president. One reason for Obama’s loss in the GE, will be because lots of voters don’t like having a one party government.

  • http://www.marcysmutiny.blogspot.com/ MessyMarcy

I am no longer a democrat. I am an independent who will be voting for the Republican candidate this fall.

Could you rephrase your first sentence so that it makes sense? Are you one of the Obamabutts working the Gaza center?

To respond to the rest of your whine, there are now only two candidates in the race. Obama has shown himself to be a bullying, race-baiting sexist, ageist liar who thinks there are 57 or 58 states. Probably to a brain-dead Obamabutt that sounds like a dream candidate, but for those of us who love this country, we’ll pass on the surly middle-aged Bush clone and choose the slightly better old guy who at least knows what he’s doing.

And I repeat, why are you concerning yourself with who we choose to vote for? Obama has made it clear he does not want or need our votes. Are you admitting he’s a liar?

  • anonimousvex

Not almost, try 200 percent worse. did you just wake up. Are you one of those 25% for Bush types? McCain = 95% pure reconstituted Bush. What is wrong with you people? You take no responsibility whatsoever for slandering Sen. Obama throughout the primary process, you use a Republican attack ad as evidence that Obama is not experienced? What about Sen. McCain’s growing list of “issues” related to corruption and financial dealings, ties to lobbyists, though he claims to have none, lies about his wife’s money, hidden tax returns (nearly all he has ever reported are kept secret to date)? What about McCain first being against torture (as is to be expected), then unbelievably, shockingly, against all semblance of human conscience or decency, switching his vote to permit torture? Do you people care at all about whether “W, Jr.” gets his chance to definitively wreck American democracy? Get back on the right side, help Hillary correct her disastrous, destructive campaigning, and let’s get serious about saving this country.

  • Lochos Vestu

Rev Wright is a nutty nut nut, but he was Obama’s spiritual mentor, and most importantly his “father figure”. As you know, Obama for some reason pinned for a father figure so much despite his father being an asshole who went around the world shooting his seeds and impregnating unsuspecting women. He in fact was married and had two kids when he met Obama’s mom and impregnated her.

So I can’t understand why Obama would write “Dreams From My Father (Asshole who abandoned me)” and go pinning for his father when his mom is a much better figure.

But back to the story, he looked to Rev Wright to be the African father he never had (his Indonesian step-father didn’t cut it, and Obama was in his twenties when he met Rev Wright, so Obama was kind of a man-child at the time pinning for a dad).

So what should Rev Wright do when his “son” goes throwing him under the bus? Well, time for some hard love and parental teaching. Punish the naughty, rude boy, Rev Wright. Please humble Obama and teach him a lesson about manners, being rude to your elders and forgetting your roots (even if its from Rev Wright’s racist TUCC).

Who has come out and already invited the formerly racistt Bill Clinton to work for his campaign? Now that the earth is scorched, he’s trying to grow trees. He doesn’t have time to start an olive grove. So sorry. It’s over little one. What stole the nomination is not going to get him elected. I would bet that they will start to understand well before the convention that things are dire.

There have been ZERO stories about Obama on the local news in Cleveland. ZERO. Not even to mention that the Governor endorsed. So. No one here in this crucial swing state is celebrating. John McCain has been running ads for a WEEK already. Positive ads. Informational ads. Either they are conceding Ohio or they don’t get the fact that they are in BIG trouble.

  • beebop

  • beebop

The suppressing of voters in Michigan and Florida cannot be rewarded, or the tactic will be used again. Once it works successfully without too much of a fuss, it is easier to do again. All you have to do is cite “rulz” and it works …

This party has been ripped from its moorings. It no longer has a moral compass. I understand where the Republican party comes from. And I know what to watch out for. The “new” Democratic party? I don’t trust the “new” direction and it has no compass and no history. I am not buying what they are selling.

    JR:

First things first. The race card.
Next. Voters rights in Michigan and Florida.

    McCain? He’s not Obama.

Now. Run along. I don’t have to explain my vote to you. Donna Brazile told me that the “new” Democratic party didn’t need me or my vote. So. I am a former Democrat, newly minted Independent. Voting as I see fit. For the candidate I believe is fit. Nothing you — or for that manner your candidate — can say is going to change this position. The only change might be to leave the top of the ticket blank. But. That will depend on whether or not McCain wraps up Ohio without me. And we know how unreliable polls are. So. I may vote for Senator McCain, just to make sure.

Everyone here knows how evil the RNC is; does this creepy ad surprise anyone? WHOEVER the winner was — an ad like this could have been put together. Although, I have to admit, Hillary got pretty mean. Too mean.

If Hillary had gotten the nomination, I would have proud, that as an Obama supporter, the RNC would not have been able to use the words of MY candidate against the nominee of the party I love.

This site makes me incredibly sad. Larry was a beacon of light during many dark days of the Bush Administration. And now he is working to destroy the hope of millions of Americans, including my young children and my elderly parents — for a better future.

And we will always remember, with awe, how close a woman came to being nominated president. A woman who is the beloved wife of a beloved former president.

But, it is the time for a new generation. A new leader. The way Bill Clinton was a new leader. And the same way I knew Bill Clinton was “The One” in 1992, I knew Barack Obama was “The One” in 2008.”
