Not all of them are jerks: it just seems that way because the trolls are so obnoxious.

I’ve found at my blog that if I meet their insults with rational and civil retorts, most of them come back with a little more civility.

Responding to negativity by being more civil and rational tends to keep situations from escalating.

That’s just my observation.

I’ve changed my user name, (I was simon, too) when the spam filters kicked in, Susan was/is so busy, I hated having to bother her, continually.

Well I was “Hope” until someone else became “Hope” and they sounded far too sane to be the old “Hope” so I changed to the “Real Hope” to defer to the more literate “Hope”. But now I’m so confused I don’t know who is Real and who is Hope.

Well, I changed from my real name to a Hillary related name at the suggestion of someone here. The suggestion was to use only positive Hillary names or negative Obama names for the remainder of the Primary. i also had a few names quite a while back. i was lifelong dem leaving party, around february, when the caucus crap was happening if i remember correctly. then i was may not have to leave the party (or something along those lines) when things were looking up (probably around ohio/texas/etc.? finally, i just went back to my usual name of so saddened, which i selected early on in this process, as it reflects my feelings about what has happened to our country and our party.

DUH why else have the Republicans at Fox been giving him a basic pass. If the Republicans really thought Hillary was the easier candidate to beat, they would have rolled out all of the dirt on Obama long ago, rather than just starting to now.
