Some Rules on NoQuarter

With the massive influx of new readers and commenters I need to lay down some rules:

1. Use one email and one name. People who write using multiple names and different bogus email addresses will be banned. In some cases, what appears to be ten different people is actually one. Those folks are history.

2. Sexist and racist insults will get you tossed.

If you see something particularly offensive let me or Susan know. Thanks.

Good work Larry, it’s great to see the influx of new readers and posters. Unfortunately with that comes the Obama kool-aid drinkers who have no class and can be vile, immature and just plain have no clue how to debate in a civil manner.

What is most sickening is how the media continues to do no vetting of Obama in regards to his very shady past. There is plenty of valid material available that gets glossed over.

I suspect what is really going on is that too many are worried that the black community will revolt if anything but kid gloves are layed on Obama. It’s not so much that they really give a shit about him, in my opinion it comes down to the black community being worried about CLOUT being taken away from them. They figure it’s their time no matter what, it explains the kool-aid mentality. Democracy is about all races not just the inclusion of blacks who feel for one reason or another feel it’s all about them.

As for the morons who threatened Larry’s business friend (via an ad posting on this blog), give me a break, that kind of crap went never works and needs to STOP.

Hi Bitter,

Actually, I’ve had many civil discussions with Obama supporters — though certainly not with all of them.

Not all of them are jerks: it just seems that way because the trolls are so obnoxious.

I’ve found at my blog that if I meet their insults with rational and civil retorts, most of them come back with a little more civility.

Responding to negativity by being more civil and rational tends to keep situations from escalating.

That’s just my observation.

The other crowd to keep an eye out for is americablog.com , the posts there have been some of the most vile and disgusting I have read over the last few months against Hillary Clinton. One can’t even respond because the blog owner censors pro-Hillary posts and deletes them before they make it into public view. There is basically a group of about 20 bloggers who do and agree to whatever the blog owner seeks. I know this for a fact, I had 50 different handles there trying to get a word in edge wise for Hillary, only to be deleted when making the slightest headway. A total waste of blog space to be sure!

The suggestion was to use only positive Hillary names or negative Obama names for the remainder of the Primary. Then I changed to reflect that I live in a swing state that ONLY Hillary or McCain can carry. So now, I guess I’ll change back to my real name since it doesn’t matter…at least until 2012.

i also had a few names quite a while back. i was lifelong dem leaving party, around february, when the caucus crap was happening if i remember correctly. then i was may not have to leave the party (or something along those lines) when things were looking up (probably around ohio/texas/etc.? finally, i just went back to my usual name of so saddened, which i selected early on in this process, as it reflects my feelings about what has happened to our country and our party.

You know, I just have to say this — I’m HRC all the way, but it is difficult to listen to people talking about fundamental freedoms and in the next breath talking about voting for McCain.
