I found it for my state by Googling state election laws, but it is different from state to state and in some instances the candidate has to register his/her name. It isn't a practical plan unless your state is red and will go to McCain anyway. There aren't a lot of options, but the best seems to be McCain. The more Obama speaks, the better McCain looks.

Hope, Is it my imagination or is there a new kind of energy and determination among Hillary's supporters now? It feels like everyone has decided they won't take the crap anymore. I am so happy to see that anger. It can make a big difference with SDs at the convention and pledged delegates pay closer attention probably feel it too. Chaos at the convention if Hillary's name isn't on the ballot and keep him out of Invesco. I wonder if they have arranged this with the Denver police who have said they may not have enough officers for security at the convention much less a stadium. This may be just another phony presidential seal.

Brian You do realize you are not talking to morons here and the only one dizzy from your spin is you? Hillary said it was a MISTAKE to alienate two important states by taking 100% of their delegation during the original DNC meeting where the decision was made. The NYT reported Sen. Clinton knew the decision would adversely affect her campaign so why would she be happy about it or agree unless she had no choice?

http://www.nytimes.com/2007/09/02/us/politics/02dems.html?_r=2&oref=slogin&oref=slogin

Reporters at the Michigan meeting to resolve the issue of a redo of the primary said Obama's campaign blocked every suggestion.

http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalradar/2008/03/michigan-do-ove.html

Obama's strategy in Fl. was to block any attempt at a revote and if you read the comments in this article, you will see Fl. Democrats are angry with Wexler and plan an impeachment. If Obama is the nominee, he will lose Florida because they apparently understand better than you exactly who is responsible for their disenfranchisement.

1.	Instead of PUMA lets call it Cut off Your Nose to Spite Your Faced. PUMA is a place for McCainites to attempt to spilt Dems. So we should vote for McCain because you are upset that Clinton lost. Yes lets vote for a man who will leave more soldiers to die in Iraq and not care for them if they get home because your mad. Yes lets vote for a man who will make paper hats out of Roe v. Wade because your mad. Yes lets vote for a man who believes that Bush economics work and will extend and add more tax cuts for the wealthy because you are mad. Lets vote for more people who will subvert the enviroment and kow-tow to Oil. Hillary Clinton rejected that notion and I would hope that her followers would reject it as well. This election is too important with too many lives and livelihoods at stake to chose based upon PUMA silliness. My thought is that the founder of PUMA never planned to vote for Hillary or Obama.

John McCain is Not a liberal by any stretch of the word.

What the heck does Jimmy carter have to do with Barack Obama. I am more worried someone who will emulate GW Bush. Carter never mislead the country into war. Carter never allowed a city to go into anarchy and dispair like GWB and New Orleans. You are worried about having another Carter. I am more worried about have four years of John McBush

Well, I voted for McCain in the 2000 primaries and would have considered a vote for him in the general that year. But that was then, this is now. McCain has turned right in a major way. The principles he once stood on are now watered down. At one point, he was against the tax cuts for the rich - now he can't live without them. At one point he was against intolerant right wing preachers like Robertson and Falwell - now he sucks up to them. At one point he stood firmly and unequivocably against torture - then he watered that down to get the nomination. He'll fill the Supreme Court with right-wingers. I once had a lot more respect for him than I do now. No way he gets my vote this time.

A question was just posed (on the Hillary board) at to the overall purpose of PUMA.

Wanting to share it with you and open it up for discussion, this is my take:

I would contend that PUMA -- for at least June through November -- exists primarly to prevent Barack Obama from winning the White House in 2008.

After November -- given a McCain victory -- I would contend that PUMA would strive to reform and rebuild the Democratic Party to be the party that America had *thought* it was voting into power in 2006.

Or -- given an Obama victory -- I would contend that PUMA would strive to become a 3rd Party that would draw in Centrists, Moderates, Independents, Conservative Democrats, and Liberal Republicans... with Election Reform at the top of its platform.

Frankly, I trust McCain's judgment to find moderate judges. Obama can't even figure out he's in bed with crooks, according to him. He can't figure out what his mentor thinks after 20 years. So why would I expect him to discern what a good judge is?

I won't.
