when she compared her not dropping out and the primary going on to a previous primary, Bobby Kennedy, the media took that to mean she was hoping for an assassination. Barrack might have condemned that nasty allegation, or said nothing. Instead he made the ‘equivocal’ statement that ‘that kind of talk (referring to her comparison) doesn’t belong in political discourse.

To recycle an earlier comment-”spot on”! With the complicity of the media, the DNC, and god knows who/what else, Hillary was simply not heard. That is, only bits and pieces were heard and misquoted, so a pretense of hearing her could be maintained, and all the while she was being reconstructed as the impossible woman, the joke, out of her depth in the boys’ games. But most women know that, even understand how it works, because they have experienced it. They are a generation who has come to understand what is happening and to analyze it and to voice their conclusions. A bit later than was convenient, but better late. . . . I hope Hillary stays with us and carries on, with our support, to the convention.

The hypocrisy of the press and the Obama campaign in dealing with misogynist attacks has been stunning. The press took great delight in pouncing on any hint that Hillary Clinton might be weak because she was a women, and Mr. Obama’s supporters have been free to unleash grossly unfair and insulting language in their blogs and postings.

The Washington Post stooped to commenting on Hillary Clinton’s once wearing a blouse that showed some cleavage, and how many pants suit comments have we had to endure.

Clinton’s address on Tuesday was right on. She wants exactly what she has always said she wants, and 18 million voters deserve some respect.

Men for Hillary are less vocal than her women supporters but they are just as committed to her.

Thanks to all of them we women are able to overcome the dispair of their “in your place” campaign.

Real men and real progressives have always stood up for women. Cowards and insecure jerks are the ones who feel the need to insult our gender.

btw – some of us have been changing our own oil ever since we burned all those bras of olde.

I laughed when I saw the ads in meetbarackobama – now we see how Hillary really had her hands tied behind her back. I can just see the DNC blaming the Clintons for their comments that Barack isn’t C-in-C material – luckily Edwards and Biden said pretty much the same thing.

The only way that Clinton supporters can send a message to the DNC and the Obamaites is to make sure that the pretender, Obama, does not win the GE.

Much as I dislike some of the things the Republicans stand for, years ago, the two parties weren’t dominated by extreme wings within each party. I believe McCain, with the right choice for VP, could get back to a centrist platform.

Hillary may not be the nominee this go around but in my mind, she emerged the victor – her image is enhanced while Obama’s tarnished. Gone is the post-racial unifier great orator image. What we are left with is a less than honorable politician from Chicago whose ignorance is terrifying to behold.

The beauty of what’s now happening is that – with the exception of Donna Brazile – every major string puller for Obama is male. And the author of this article is correct – men simply don’t understand how women think.

So naturally they came up with the propaganda formula of fear. Scare those 18 million back into the fold with 4 more years of the same Republican mess we now have.

You cannot scare me that way. The only way I can be scared is by thinking a radical leftist with Marxist/Socialist leanings has a shot at the White House. Nothing could be worse for the country I love than that.

What women want is exactly what men have. The right to be entirely themselves, to express their abilities and ambitions and ideals (if they have them) without having to constantly refer to men: are we sexy enough? Are we feminine enough? Do we still please you? Since men are never going to grant women the right to be fully human, not just potential wives and mothers, or whores, they just can’t hear this answer. It would spoil the little fantasy in which they are wise and just and would never enslave another person or deny them their full identity. No – pretending they don’t know the answer is much safer for their self esteem.

Hitler never shot a Jew. But the folks working for him killed about 6 million. The Obama campaign was pushing the Bosnia story even though Barack was publicly saying it weren’t no big thang. The Obama campaign was pushing the story that Hillary wanted him murdered even though Barack was saying that she weren’t meanin it. I generally don’t like making comparisons to Adolph but in his beginning he had this tendency to say one thing for public consumption while his boys were out and about doing the exact opposite. George Bush did the same thing. The worst thing that can be said about Hillary is that during this campaign she told a few fish stories. But there was no conspiracy. There was no organization loyal to her that was willfully acting contrary to her words. You Obamasives say you are turning the page on the past, but you are the past. You have dragged up its darkest and deepest night and tried pass it off and sell it to us as the day. And, we are not buying.
