Hillary, We’re Here For You

Comments in this thread. Go to the second thread to continue.

Please use this thread as a free space in which you can tell Hillary Clinton what she means to you, and that we will continue to fight for her today, tomorrow, and onward. [I just toggled this story to the top above a newer story; I'm watching C-Span and awaiting her speech.]

(Which channels are you watching?)

  • Votehillary08

Rise Hillary all the way to Denver Hillary. Do not concede a thing. We are with you all the way.

    • thenana1

      FOX………

Just saw a clip of Obama checking some white gals ass out…..from Tuesday night…….

Hillary, after todays speech, please take a vacation with your family, relax and enjoy life, you have earned it more then anyone.

I like all others will stand by you.Thank You for an honest race and fighting for all of us.

      • David Axisrutt

Yeah and then come back and kick Barry in the cojones he doesn’t have. ;)

      • Where’sTheTape?

HaHa! The No Quarter racism continues. This place is a complete joke. Hey Susan, if you are “there” for Hillary you will heed her words and vote for Obama.

        • Lou

We are not puppets and are not going to get screwed out of our votes twice. If you cannnot believe that we do not like Obama because he is inept and dangerous then your song and dance about racism has fallen on deaf ears. It’s our perogative to cast our vote however we please. If we do not like a candidate it is also our perogative NOT to vote for them. You all can beat a dead horse with a stick all you want by crying racism. You are shallow and stupid. If Hillary were a man, she would be the nominee. Plain and simple. So who played who..go away. Cry to someone who cares. We will sleep better at night with McCain at the wheel.

“SUSPENDING MY CAMPAIGN” — those are the THREE WORDS i needed to hear.

ALL OPTIONS are open. WE KEEP FIGHTING, and EXPOSING Barack Obama for who he is.

Hillary cannot. And we all understand that. But you and I are FREE to do so.

      • IndayHill

        C-Span;CNN

I really admire the intelligence and strategy of Senator Hillary Clinton.I can still have that HOPE till Denver.
My prayers and best wishes go to you, to President Clinton & Chelsea & to Mom Rodham.
        WE LOVE YOU !!

    • Milly

to fight for what you have made your destiny, your call, to serve your people with honor with courage and will.

We love and respect you, your intelligence, your knowledge that gives us the confidence to entrust you the leading of this nation! We will be waiting for your return in November, we will be standing, never bending, no bowing to no King no false nominee! We will keep fighting fiercely for you, writing everything that shows how good you keep doing, while we understand the media will hide anything good that comes from you, we will expose your achievements.

Remember you have ‘no master’, you are yourself, not the puppet of the DNC. Teach them, that there was/is a woman they never knew was about to make history but huge history in defeating their ‘old rules and filled with fear politics’, you knew since you were young that your destiny was to lead, there you were in Beijing at the age of 27 advocating without fear for the rights of the women and minorities, with bravura, it was in your blood!

As Florence Scovel Shinn said: “There is a place that you are to fill and no one else can fill, something you are to do, which no one else can do.”

Now you have the ‘sword’ in your hands use it with ‘your will’ Hillary, show them, they should not have messed with you!

You will be our Madame Commander in Chief, as you said it last time, yes Lady Liberty will welcome you, the ‘shadow of those powerful Twin Towers’ will have your name as the one who honor those who died to be emancipated to the highest level they deserve to be called ‘heroes, saints and the angels that will be protecting the city of the world’, with your call to designate an area as a sanctuary in the new construction, you as our President will do it!

New York will stand firm Hillary with you, again New York have been atacked, this time by ‘the most horrendous terrorist political attack, perpetrated by the media and the DNC, the party that boast to be the leaders to defend justice and freedom’, they have betrayed their foundations.

They have lost our respect, we denounce and reject the DNC for what they allowed to happen to one of their most honorable members! Time to revolt? Well, if that is what you want, we are ready! But you own a public apology to this great leader that happens to be a great woman! Time to take the bull by their horns!

      • Lou

The millions who voted for Hillary should not be taken lightly. We will not roll over and play dead nor follow the masses over the clff.
The Democrat Party just screwed themselves. John and Cindy McCain are looking good and sound like protectors of this country. Dems will just have to push the national issues with McCain in office. We do not need to be embarrassed anymore by a bumbling idiot like Obama. Hillary is the best orator this country ever had. She inspires the best in Americans. If she gets booted out of the game because she is winning and she is a woman then America this is a very sad day. We support our women and want them to have a woman, not any women, just Hillary in the white house.

  • AF catfish

Susan & Larry – I was undecided, favoring Obama with Hillary as my solid backup choice. But I was tiring of his messiah-like speeches and I came to this blog and read Larry’s post about never expecting to like Hillary until the day he briefed her on some intelligence matter. He said that she was “scary smart” and described how impressed he was by her depth of knowledge on this matter. After that she was my first choice.

So thank you for keeping up this blog through these last few months.

  • Mickey

Please run as an Independent, you will kick some ass.

  • AF catfish

I’m flipping between MSNBO (because Pat Buchanan is on and he does speak favorably of her) and CNN. Fox had their business channel show on.

    • cowgirlblues

Bucanon said last night on the Mcglaughlin show-if McCain picks up just 25% of hillary supporters Obama loses–Both of those guys are staunch Hillary supporters

      • phatphat

I will never vote for the Obama/Dean/Brazille/Pelosi dictatorship.

  • Karen

I am struck already by how this morning is showcasing
not the candidate but Clinton. The other night
we had McCain’s speech, Hillary and then Obama and then all the commentary was on Hillary. Today it is all about Hillary again…….sweet. A few moments in the sun. I am watching CNN talking about how badly she ran her campaign….some things never change.

    • Lou

It’s going to be boring without Hillary campaigning.
She brought the crowds out. Obama brought in his bussed in paid workers to look like his crowd.
Hillary brought the passion in this race. You will see interst dwindle down to a tricle now.
The DNC just robbed the country of the best candidte this country has ever had. Hillary is smart with money. She has a fiscal plan that would not put us deeper in debt but lift this nation out of debt. She knows how to do it but the fools blew it. There will be down ticket votes against Obama supporters and then everyone will know that personal integrity is the most important thing to Americans.
We do not appreciate politicians who sell their soul for a buck.

  • BluDawg

Hillary means “centrist”, well reasoned, thoroughly vetted policies.

She represents the people in a loyal way no other candidate offers.

She is the new politics we are waiting for.

He change was not illusion, not words, not to be cast adise for political expediency, not inexperienced.

  • AF catfish

Hillary thank you for staying in giving us a strong finish!

  • standard

We have lost the greatest president in modern history.

A candidate with her brilliance and drive is rare.

I am sick to the pit of my stomach the way this election was stolen from Americans.

I am at the point where I probably will vote for John McCain in November.

    • BJinChicago

Yes, we have, because the 4 horsemen of the Democratic Party apocalypse (Kennedy, Kerry, Dean and Brazile)were in the tank for Obama. (I’ve read that Brazile is expected to get Dean’s job.)They worked with Axelrod, the puke who works for Mayor Daley in Chicago and brought that style of politics to this race.

EVERY HILL SUPPORTER —HERE IS THE LINK WITH BILL CLINTON,S ACCOMPLISHEMENTS ON IT

PLS POST IT HERE AND EVERYWHERE –

DO NOT LET ANYONE SAY ONE FUCKING WORD AGAINST BILL CLINTON .www.ironmyvote.com/accomplishments-90s.htm

    # longest economic expansion in American history*–a record 115 months of economic expansion

    # More than 22 million new jobs: more than 22 million jobs were created in less than eight years — the most ever under a single administration

    # Highest home ownership in American history

    # Made the Federal government smaller (a feat matched only by Harry Truman; if you like small government, vote Democratic)

    # Lowest unemployment in 30 years: unemployment dropped from more than 7 percent in 1993 to just 4.0 percent in November 2000; unemployment for African Americans and Hispanics fell to the lowest rates on record, and the rate for women was the lowest in more than 40 years

    # Largest expansion of college opportunity since the GI Bill

    # Connected 95 percent of schools to the Internet
    # Lowest crime rate in 26 years

    # Family and Medical Leave Act for 20 million Americans

    # Smallest welfare rolls in 32 years

    • Karma

And Obama gave props to only the Republican admins on the road because he KNOWS he can’t match what the Clintons can do.

When has a Presidential candidate ever run a campaign giving exclusive props to the opposing party in the primary?

And they say Hillary is destroying the party.

I will never vote for him!

      • cowgirlblues

We should all take him at his word and believe Republicans have good ideas too-after all if he said it-it must be true-and vote for McCain-because obama told me too—Besides its not over for Hillary until the convention nominates him by voting at the convention–and if his numbers are in the tank–losing the election will be on those delegates–and whose hide is ore important to them-Obamas or their own???they will sell out in a minute

Your campaign has shown truly shown me were our problems as a whole, has originated from. It’s not our government that is at fault, but the elecected officials who maintain positions that have forgotten that the voice and will of the people is strong.

I’m watching CNN…sadly…but anyway, I was wondering, is anyone else a little scared that in listening to her speech today, it might somehow be difficult to NOT do what she says, which is support BO, which I feel right now I could NEVER do?…I know it’s really weak of me, but damn…I hope I don’t cry.
Doesn’t she know in her heart of hearts that BO is NOT POTUS material?
Anyone think Bill might speak? I hope niether he nor Chelsea smiles when Hill mentions BO…

I’m so mad! I hate the way CNN is calling the show “The Clinton Exit”…it makes me sick.

    • Mickey

I feel the same way that is why is decided not to listen and instead read about it.

    • standard

      Do drop cable.
      Let CNN know why.
We need to get a list of sponsors together.
      When I have time . . .

    • Tommy

Celine,if you and others are easily persuaded by Hillary’s speech which deep inside her she hates being forced to give,I feel for you and all America.

Speeches like Hillary is making today, are designed to influence them that are easily persuaded to return to the Democrats. Hillary is a classy lady and one that knows to be a lady. Hillary in her own hurt and sadness is giving a speech because it’s her rightful duty. But deep inside she will hate the DNC and the ripping apart of America done by Obama and the DNC….

Do not be persuaded by her speech….Hillary is as pissed as her supporters ,so remain pissed off and Vote McCain in November.

Damn the DNC for ignoring the Constitution and the rights of America to choose their candidate.

Hillary,we love you ,but despise the DNC….Hillary,we ask you to remain the force you are and do for us what we failed to do for you.

Try getting a bill into legislation that stops the DNC and people like Howard Dean,Pelosi and Harry Reed from dictating.

      • Celine

k……saw the speech, didn’t lose my focus, poor poor Hill, you could so tell that she was not that into the Obama parts at all! She just made herself look even greater!!!!!!!!!!

        HILL FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!

NEVER, NEVER will I support BO.

        On to the convention!!!!!!

How could anyone watch Hill today and not realize that the country has turned its back on probably one of the greatest presidents they will ever have???

    • cowgirlblues

Hillary is doing what she has to do, to remain a viable candidate–the whole story here is sh only suspended her campaign-hang in there-don’t give up-this was just a battle-not the war, hillary will stand back and let the republican machine have their shot at him, saying yes i support obama, this is the game as it has to play out-meanwhile-back at the ranch we are still working hard and planning on going on to Denver-Now the obama babies have to frounts to fight-us AND the republicans–now we are getting to the good part–MSM is already talking about the holes in Obama resune’, and how difficult it will be for Obama to win without the party base in the general election–do not be sad-be mad and fight on

  • phatphat

Hillary, please wait until 2012. Do NOT climb aboard the sinking ship called Obama (do not accept the VP role). We all love you, but I for one will not vote for an Obama presidency, even if you are the VP. He would destroy your credibility, and you would be just a token in that role. If you do not want to wait till 2012, I would vote for you as an Independent. Thank you so much for all you have done for America!

    • http://hyper-educated-uppity-woman.blogspot.com Uppity Woman

      EXACTLY.

      • mimi

Here I sit, heels dug deep in. NOTHING Hillary can say will move me. NOTHING Obama and his pack of vulgar offensive trolls will change my vote.

Sorry, but this is no longer about Hillary. It’s about what the DNC did. If you focus on that, you won’t have a problem. I’m a tough love mother. It’s the only way to be to get results. You spare the rod, you spoil the child.

As it is, I’ve indulged the Democratic Party for far too long and look where that got us! It got us an ugly Party coup of backstabbers to the only 2 term president we’ve had in 50 years and his Senator wife. These people are stupid. You don’t reward stupidity. And you don’t bite the hand that feeds you.

And I’m not just talking money, I’m talking votes. What did Pat Buchanan say, if only 25% percent roll McCain’s way?

Obama supporters, you may get some, but you won’t get us all.

        Be very afraid!!! Very afraid!

And we’re committed without the tape, so that should tell you something!

It’s a long way to August and November.

I’m dug in, kicked back, watching baseball and going to the beach.

I’m warming up the popcorn fall the fall.

It’s party time! Or as we in the black community say: “PAR-TAY!!!

You surely must be one of the McCain trolls to come on here at this time and make such comments. So, since I also support McCain now that Hillary is bowing out — good job, J.D. Keep it up. I don’t think McCain will have any problem dispatching Obama in the GE, but it will be fun to see Obama lose in a landslide.

    • bert

As a good Democrat Hillary will do what she thinks is best. And even if she asks her supporters to vote Obama I won’t.

This is still a free country and I can – AND WILL – make up my own mind. No one’s endorsement causes me to vote for a particular candidate.

Obama clearly lacks the credentials and expereince to be POTUS and further has a weakness in foreign policy knowledge and tact.

      I will vote McCain.

We are trying to get a “Thank you card campaign” started. We want to flood Senator Clinton’s DC office with thank you cards. On the front of the envelope we are writing “WE ARE ONE OF 18 MILLION” and we are asking her to take it to Denver. We want to reach as many supporters as possible so it can be effective. THE ADDRESS:

    THE HONORABLE HILLARY RODHAM CLINTON

    UNITED STATES SENATE

476 RUSSELL SENATE OFFICE BUILDING WASHINGTON

    DC 20510-3202

Hillary fought for us. So let’s send a card to Senator Clinton. Then tell your friends to send one. Then get them to get their friends to send one.

    Pass it on.

Hmmmm*….she won’t be the VP. She would never agree. The pundits are wrong. She was being polite only when asked if she’d take th VP position.

I’m convinced of that. The pundits are idiots. They are stupid analysts who are so biased they can’t find their asshole.

She wants nothing to do with this guy, with good reason. He’s an idiot.

      Don’t Quit Hillary! Keep Fighting!

  • It’s Not Me

I’ll just copy/paste what I just posted on another blog:

I started out supporting Dennis Kucinich until he embraced Ron Paul. I then supported Chris Dodd because of his defense of the Constitution and support of decriminalizing Marijuana. He dropped out after Iowa and I then supported John Edwards….just because BO and Hillary were my 2 least favorite candidates. After Edwards dropped out, I remained neutral between BO and Hillary because I didn’t like either of them and really didn’t care which one won the nomination.

Then came Jesse Jackson Jr. in NH insinuating Hillary is a racist by asking if she cried over the victims of Katrina like she cried for herself during her luncheon in NH. That was disgusting, but I let it slide and still remained neutral because neither Hillary or BO appealed to me. Then came SC when BO needed to turn the AAs who supported the Clintons, away from Hillary. The BO campaign played the race card.

They actually called our GREATEST 2 term Democratic President and his wife racists? THAT was the turning point for me.

I decided Hillary need my support against the coming onslaught of feigned outrage over fake racism charges. I’ve never looked back.

Hillary was my last choice, but she became the BEST choice for me and 18 million other people because she’s the smartest, most qualified, had the best policies, knows the government/system inside out and has a mind of her own. That mind of her own brought out the most hateful, disgusting, misogynistic, and vile insults aimed at her and her supporters. Not only did the MSM, the BO supporters fling those insults, but so did the BO campaign and Hillary’s own Democratic Party.

Never, in any election, has any candidate been treated with such disrespect. Ever. No man would ever be treated as Hillary has been treated and I, for one, will never forget or forgive what the BO campaign, his supporters, the DNC, the DC elites and the MSM have done to not only Hillary, but to every woman in this country.

She deserved better than she got and even though she was never my first choice in this Primary, I’ve grown to respect her more than I have ever respected any politician. Hillary should stand proud today. She has earned my respect and the respect of 18 million other voters and has it.

    I love that woman now.

You are so right, never, in any election, has any candidate been treated with such disrespect. I too will never forget what they did.

      McCain 2008; Hillary, 2012!

  • Mr.Murder

Obama lost his flowery rhetoric at AIPAC. He sounds like he might push the wrong button re:a widening war with Iran.

Hillary was a bit more saubtle but none the less spoke out. She reinfirced Israel’s existence but laid down some key talking points as well, the kind of things that emphasize she expects to see them put things on the table for Palestenians as well. Imagin that, consistent application of the notion that someone wanting to talk needs to agree on some items from the start, as a way to expand dialog on the path to progress.

Notably, women’s rights, human right, the right to petition. All of this, and still being able to play a strong hand to security and show “No Quarter” to opponents.

McCain actually has the most gravitas to speak of dentention and labor camps as a former POW. He’s finding a way to connect with that history, Obama would lose to that approach. That would cut into Barack’s turf heavily as well. Ethnic urban upper trending types, and of course the continued security card.

Hillary has more credentials there with her background and support, with Obama, it would be a case of McCain capturing a key part of his expected base in swing states.

The contrast of BO and Senator Clinton at AIPAC was was the most graphic example of WHY Senator CLinton is a more qualified by light years than the meme of BO’s empty rhetoric. He has no connection with AIPAC and it showed.

Did you notice today in her speech she said would make “the best commander in chief” but for BO, only a “good president”.

      This is not over.

    Senator Clinton,

Thank you so much! Please do not concede a thing, keep your delegates, support obama, but we will nominate you from the floor of the convention.

I appreciate that you need to do what you have to for the party. But I will always remain with you.

Though you will ask us to vote for Obama, I respectfully inform you that I cannot and will not vote for him. He is not qualified for the position, cannot pass the CIC threshold, and is dangerously naive. I care for my country too much to vote for Obama.

Thank you always for your support and for running to be our President.

    God speed.

AMEN! As long as she does’nt release her delegates Hillary is not truly conceding. I keep telling people this woman has several aces up her sleeve.

I cannot wait until Obama goes down and Dean, Pelosi et al are utterly humiliated and have to ashamedly face the nation and explain why they supported this creep and stood by as accomplices as the MSM and Obama’s campaign ripped apart this worthy American woman.

Watching CNN because our Three Stooges DVDs are out on a loan. Watching all of them – particularly Wolf Blitzer – get erections at the very thought Hill is gone is really too much to bear.

ABC has been fairest of the bunch, I believe.

Too true. They asked tough questions! LOL

PS. Wolfie is now speculating about if Hill twisted Barry’s balls. Big Mamma Donna is on – isn’t that coincidental? She’s suggesting Obama people donate to Hillary’s campaign. No shit.

They’re also saying he needs to raise another $350 million. My fucking god – a BILLION on this Super Bowl? OMG OMG OMG.

Blitzer really loves to use two words together: ‘Hillary’ and ‘unsuccessful’.

Migod what crap they talk. Anyway. Oh another guy now talking about how Hill is going to help Barry. By bringing in the:

    - Jews
    - Elderly (over 18)
    - Women

Do these turds – from the ‘best political team in the world’ – really believe their own shit?

Migod they’re going to climax. I don’t know when I’ve lately seen something so fucking disgusting.

I had to leave some of the dream out because of a certain “uppity woman” who wants to censor my dreams.

Anyway there are like 50 or 60 of us here on this website and we wanted to make a huge difference in national politics so we started the PUMA CLUB and we are committed to spreading hatred for Obama and everybody who supports him.

And we want you to know we are here for you.

Hey, it’s Father Pfleger here to entertain us with his soaring rhetoric and Hillary hatred. We understand why you feel the need to gloat in such a repugnant manner — you realize you won’t be able to steal the election from McCain in the fall so this is the only victory dance Obama will get to do.

Unless, like J.D. above, you are really a McCain troll here to keep reminding us what classless jerks Obama and his supporters are, in which case keep up the good work — McCain 08, Obama never.

    What is the point?

    • phatphat

Yes, as long as McCain does not wimp out. America needs to get rid of this disease of Political Correctness. Call Evil what it is: Evil.

  • PuppyDogMom

I’m watching MSNBC…note I did not say “listening.” The mute button is my best friend right now, however Tim Russert’s face is really hard to look at.

I thought instead of writing something new, I’d just share with you a message that I wrote to the DNC when I got the email from Howie about the new direction the DNC is taking with respect to raising money. Anybody else get that?

You know, I could care less about any policy changes in the Democratic Party. It’s all smoke and mirrors anyway. Do you really think that I’m going to fall for that?

Considering what the Democratic Party has done to Hillary Clinton, I really won’t be giving any money to help elect Obama. Quite frankly, I’m ashamed of the Democratic Party. You stole the nomination from Clinton and gave it to Obama. The question I have is WHY?

Any monitory donations that I make will be to help Hillary Clinton defray costs or to support McCain.

You want to be the party of the little people just like me? If that’s the case, why are you pushing an arrogant, narcissistic, sexist, racist, inexperienced candidate who spent 20 years in a church filled with hate for the “typical white” people? You had a candidate who spent hours and hours down in the trenches with “ordinary” Americans like me.

You and other leaders in the party manipulated this process to keep Hillary Clinton out of the race. I will never forgive that, and I will never forget it. I hope you do ask me for money again so I can tell you to raid Obama’s coffers that are full of money from back door deals.

And you know what else? I bet, Howard Dean, that you won’t read this. I bet that you and the rest of the “leadership” of the party could care less what this “ordinary” person thinks or feels.

Oh…one more thing: When I listened to Sen. Clinton speak I never did feel “ordinary.” I always felt “special.”

You are smart, tough, and would have made an excellent President and I am sorry you came up short.

Please telephone Larry Johnson and tell him to throw his support behind Senator Obama as he will also make an excellent President supporting the same policies as you.

I cannot believe someone who so rabidly supported you sees much difference in Senator Obama. Even so much as to support someone with completely opposite policy, McCain.

I think you would do a great service by setting Mr. Johnson straight.

  • http://blogsmonroe.com/world/ Valeria Rogers

I am not watching any media outlet. I quit listening when I saw the Obama bubble rise and the Hillary bashing begin. From there I tuned to the blogs.

I won’t be watching anything from now until November either. I turned it on for a second the other night and had to listen to an arrogant, isn’t even the official Democratic nominee yet, Obama talk about 8 years in the White House. Good Luck.

Americans that don’t plan on voting won’t be voting for newly open seats in Congress either. I’m not voting because there are no choices I like. After the DNC debacle last Saturday, there are a bunch of senators and reps., and even our governor here in MI that I will never vote for again. I gave a monthly donation for two years to that party and got half a vote in return.

I think America is too far gone. I’ve been writing an environmental blog for our county news for 1 1/2 years. No one has bothered to stop the Bush/Cheney regime. The Supreme Court rules against the EPA. Federal judges rule against the EPA. Nothing happens. The current administration is made of teflon. Nothing sticks. And thousands upon thousands of e-mails and petitions do little good. So much for blogging is the new protest. We should have taken to the streets long ago. I’m from the generation of protestors in the 60′s. Words aren’t cutting it!

The wealthy are already in charge, they just haven’t put their crowns on yet. And I believe all Obama is doing is vieing for the black piece of the pie. His and Michelle’s rise was bankrolled by questionable people like Rezko and Farakkhan. And Obama is the biggest fundraiser. Money does wonders does it not?

Add to this the fact that Rupert Murdoch bought Fox, moved to the Wall Street Journal, and is now recently on the board of the AP, so we will never get the absolute truth on our airwaves again. Tell me this isn’t an insidious takeover? In this light, to say the wealthy aren’t in charge yet, can’t be, not in America, not with the democratic system, is a real stretch.

  • Karma

Personally, I think the fact all these talking heads have to come in on Saturday is great.

I hope in her speech that she will disabuse these same fools with the notion she wants the VP slot.

Take away all that insulting speculation, where they take even more shots at her and her intent. And let them figure out someone else to attack.

    PRESIDENT BILL CLINTON,S RECORD

    A LONG ONE

  • Pat Babb

At 11:00 AM ET, the Obama campaign called here and said now that Obama had clinched the nomination, it was time for us to all come together — I interrupted her and said “No, we’re not coming together. We’re staunch Hillary supporters here in this house, and if it isn’t Hillary, it will be McCain. Now, don’t call here anymore.” and I hung up.

I think Hillary is selling out, or she has a knife or a gun at her back, or I don’t know what. She is the nominee of the voters. Well, he has the infinite capacity to implode in flames by Aug 25th, so I’m staying with Hillary no matter what she says today.

My family and I will be voting for McCain; some on here will be writing in Hillary’s name; but very few of her supporters will be persuaded to vote for Obama, and certainly not enough for him to avoid the embarrassing and humiliating ass-kicking McCain is going to give him this fall.

While we admire Hillary Clinton and have the utmost respect for her, we do not slavishly follow anyone’s orders, as you people in the Obama cult do. I understand why Hillary will make the statement of support for Obama, and it does not diminish my admiration for her, but I will never vote for him. McCain ’08. Obama never.

I would love for her to shove it up his ass. But having been involved in politics for too long, I know that can’t happen.

  • Andy

DOES ANYONE HEAR ANYTHING TRUSTWORTHY ABOUT WHAT IS SHE DOING RE. HER PLEDGED DELEGATES??

    • Mel

she is keeping her delegates and she is continuing the counting of the delegates still to be appointed. The key this afternoon is her choice of words, support vs endorses Obama and her tone as tohow many if any she uses the word endorse.

      • catherine

        Oh Thank God!

What do you want to bet Obama, in his insane jealousy of the Clintons, causes one of those “breaking news” moments after her speech?
He cannot tolerate being left out of any news cycle, he cannot stand not being the center of attention.

SO pls also post obamas,s stupid hate filled videos,

I challenge anyone to post a link to an Obama hate filled video. Not pastor Wright or father Pfleger but Barack Obama actually spewing hate. Good luck with that one.

      • Karma

YouTube is filled with him flipping and dusting her off when Hillary handed handed Obama his ass hat at the last debate.

Like it or not, that is hateful and cowardly, especially since he was so scared her couldn’t even debate her again.

He hates her for his weaknesses….and so does Michelle. They both know she is the better woman that is they had to slander her and Pres Clinton as racists. Which is the epitome of hateful.

So, while you try to lie to me that it was the angle, I will now point you to his stump speeches, campaign workers, his church, and race baiting memos to MSM. All of which is video and text proof of Obama being hateful and surrounding himself with hateful people.

That man has actually insulted true racism with such tactics which is beyond hateful….but Obama doesn’t care about such things, being blinded by greed. The moments he offers as racism in his book are as shallow as your arguments, and that is why he feels no guilt in diminishing that word by slandering honorable people. He knows aren’t racists.

      • http://www.marcysmutiny.blogspot.com/ MessyMarcy

As Hillary has been held responsible for her supporters actions and words, so is Obama. His sin of omission in never speaking out against the more rabid of his fans, and his many sins of commission in working behind the scenes encouraging and providing ammunition for said rabid fans, in and out of the MSM, reveal him to indeed be filled with hate, not only for Hillary Clinton, but for anyone not slavishly falling for his con game.

While he always leaves the actual ranting to Michelle, the crazy preachers or others, he is still responsible for the hate spewing from his campaign. And judging from his actions toward Joe Lieberman recently, he is not far from totally losing control and devolving into a sad imitation of Wright or Pfegler himself.

BIG SURPRISE. Didn’t her mama teach her not to change the rules at the end of the game? Guess she taught her she could change them, but only when it benefits HER and the “chosen one”….

I refuse to watch this as I know the DNC mafia Boys from Brazile pretty much forced her to say all this “support Obama” malarkey that even she does’nt believe.

But does anyone know if she’s just suspending her campaign and retaining her pledged delegates?

I don’t think I ever hated Bush and the repubs as much as I now loathe Barky and his supporters.

I will NEVER vote for Nobama and there is nothing NOTHING the DNC can offer Hillary or her supporters that will make us change our minds.

  • http://deleted AnninCa

I think what I want to say is simply, “Thanks.” I am surprised how many times a day, you pop into my mind or I think about how you handled this or that situation. I haven’t ever really had a superhero in my life. Maybe that’s because I’m a woman, and there just haven’t been that many role models on that level. Clara Barton sort of didn’t do it for me, you know?

But you have inspired this 50ish lady a lot. I still face my own challenges. When I want to be childish and fuss about it, I think about you and how you never give up and never give in. I, too, am viewed by my family and friends as a bit of a toughie in life. I guess that’s not such a bad thing. LOL*

It sure has been a true pleasure watching you campaign, too. I loved your style. I loved how I got to watch you sharpen your speeches until they sung. I loved watching you debate. Omigod, I so loved the debates.

I loved your interviews with the guys everyone thought would “eat you alive.” Ha! Boy, that was so fun. (By contrast, Obama was such a baby. He had to walk away from rookie reporters!)

I think this is a time in life when I don’t mind losing because I’m so absolutely convinced my candidate was heads above the winner. Heads above, Hillary. You made every woman in this country proud as heck.

The first viable woman candidate shouldn’t have to be that darned good, but I personally knew it was important that you be JUST that good.

You were. I was so right to wait for you to be that one.

I also want to add that I think the obvious love your daughter has for both you and Bill is astounding. I sort of wish we knew more about how you managed that. That would also be a great role model for many of us who have struggled juggling career and children.

In any case, I wish you well. I so appreciated your South Dakota speech that indicated that you truly have heard the depth of the support and admiration we have for you. That was important to me. I wanted you to know it was more than just a vote. It was personal.

You obviously know that, and that makes me feel a lot better.

I am sorry we did not pull this off for you. But we all learned a lot. It won’t happen again.

    • http://www.marcysmutiny.blogspot.com/ MessyMarcy

When I want to be childish and fuss about it, I think about you and how you never give up and never give in.

Me too. I cannot count how many times I have, when faced with some silly little problem that at the time seems excessively vexing, told myself “You idiot. Look what Hillary Clinton has to deal with every minute of every day and how courageously she responds to all of it, and you’re whining over some relatively little thing like this.” She has been an inspiration to us all, but I will never forgive the little group of party insiders who for their own petty purposes stole the nomination from her.

  • sjl106

Hillary although you will work your heart out for obama because of your committment to the ideals the democratic party once held, but they became corrupt and have usurped their will over the voters and to me that is completely unacceptable for the good of our country. You have my deapest respect and devotion but supporting obama is nothing I could ever do out of what has transpired.

To everyone here an honest question. What if Hillary comes out and endorses/supports Barack Obama will you accept her endorsement and support Barack or move your support completely to McCain or none of the above?

    • http://noquarterusa.net/blog/ **== President & Commander-in-Chief Hillary Clinton **==

I posted this earlier and should answer your question:

The trolls worst nightmare has happened since a huge chunk of Hillary supporters will remain faithful to her until the convention since today Hillary will only be suspending her candidacy and will retain all of her delegates. We will continue to research the anointed one and worst case scenario we will help to elect McCain to prevent the Obama freak show from taking over our government.

The trolls will quote Hillary’s speech today in parts accurately where it suits them and spin her words when accurate quotes do not suit them. Just more of the same bullshit we are accustom to.

I hope the trolls have plenty of cheetos on hand because we will be keeping them very busy! There is no nominee until the end of August and lots can happen between now and then.

      • hillarysmygirl

Thanks for the words of encouragement!

I’m watching C-Span, which I’ve been doing a lot lately to avoid the bleating toads on any of the cable networks.

Boy, Hillary is smart! She’s telling us to get behind Obama…but she has to do that so her detractors can’t say he lost because of her (although we know they’ll do it anyway). I can see her planning for the future. She’s still campaigning, telling us what her vision of the future is…universal health care, ending discrimination, restoring America’s standing in the world, ending the war in Iraq. She is the epitome of class, defending a party that has betrayed her.

Bill and Chelsea look like they’ve been crying. Mary Steenburgen is tearing up too. So am I.

  • Brian C

Why do the Democrats keep nominating out of touch wimps like Obama? Don’t they realize he has absolutely no chance of winning the general election?

Bill Clinton was successful because he appealed to the white working class, supported a strong military, and rejected the identity politics which have gradually become a staple of the Democratic Party.

In Obama, the Democrats have a candidate who questions the need for wearing a flag pin, who thinks it’s acceptable to associate with anti-American radicals, who talks approvingly of a “quiet riot” amongst black people, and who wants to drastically cut spending on new weapons systems and eliminate our nuclear arsenal (see the “52 seconds” video on YouTube).

This type of namby-pamby peacenik bullshit just won’t cut it in a general election. I wouldn’t be surprised if Obama fails to win a single state in November.

We, the REAL Democrats will NOT allow our party to be hijacked by extreme leftists. F*** unity! Give us back our party! Sometimes things need to be torn down in order to remove the rotten or broken pieces so that it can be properly repaired. And that’s what we intend to do.

She knows we will not listen to this crap. This is just to get Obama to pay off her campaign debt. And also because she is keeping her word, since she promised to support the nominee. She is keeping her word, but realistically she must know we will not do what she is asking.

  • Ex-Edwards Supporter

Should we doubt Hillary’s judgement and sincerity when she says that she now gives her “full” support and endorsement? She has just emphasized the power and promise of having a Democratic President and why its so important to have one this year. She has emphasized the shared vision between her and Obama.

She has repeated the words “Yes WE Can!”. She wants to join Obama to fight for universal health care, to protect a women’s right to choose to stop the economic and foreign policy ruin brought to us by the Republicans.

If you doubt her judgement and sincerity now, then why did you ever support her in the first place? Has she betrayed you? Taylor Marsh has seen the light. So has Charles Rangel and Ed Rendell. The time to rejoin the Democratic party, unless you want to support Republican policies.

    • Mr.Murder

Obama is for universal insurance, a mandated proposal, where you everyone has to pay into a system that aims to pay the least possible it can out.

If you doubt her judgement and sincerity now, then why did you ever support her in the first place? Has she betrayed you?

Are you really this politically naive? Your talking points ring false so please try again. Hillary is doing what she has to so she can carry on to fight another day. Its a long way until the convention and lots can happen. You better stock up on cheetos.

Hillary will be our nominee if we stick with her and keep fighting the battle for her.

    • http://deleted AnninCa

I do not doubt her at all. She gave that speech with every bit of sincerity that anyone could possibly expect.

This is unique. We’re split 50/50. The DNC threw it to Obama. He didn’t win.

Her speech had to be over-the-top, presidential quality, to even make a dent. She sure couldn’t afford to do the Romney deal….hey, I’m outta here.

      She delivered big time.

And I’m fairly certain we’ll see the Obama sexists claim she had no right to talk about the fact that her race was historic.

But that is because they are sexist pigs for the most part.

They have no respect for women or for her.

But she gave a great, historic speech for women in America. It will be remembered.

      Her solution? Vote for him?

      Nah*….I’m not going there. LOL*

I don’t agree with her on that point.

I didn’t always agree with Hillary. That’s the difference between me and Obama nuts. They think you have to follow someone like some kind of student to the guru. Nonsense.

      That’s immature political thinking.

If I agree with 70%…….we’re talking home run!

    • Lucinda

If you doubt her judgement and sincerity now, then why did you ever support her in the first place? Has she betrayed you? Taylor Marsh has seen the light. So has Charles Rangel and Ed Rendell. The time to rejoin the Democratic party, unless you want to support Republican policies.

This sounds like the way the Nazis talked in 1933. If more people had been willing to fight back against “the party” then, maybe 8,000,000 Jews and millions more soldiers wouldn’t have been killed by the time it was over.

Taylor Marsh has seen the light.

You talk as if as it’s a religion. Well, maybe it is to you, and that’s the whole problem.

  • liam

judging by the comments here, i wonder if you guys are even old enough to vote.

Hey fuck off, liam you miserable sack of shit.

There are no acceptable limits and there are no acceptable prejudices in the twenty first century.
    - Hillary Clinton

So she socked the sack of shit after all.

  • It’s Not Me

She looks PISSED talking about sexism…prejudices against women. If anyone knows what sexism is like, Hillary does.

    • Andy

Yes, she did; I thought that was the only authentic moment.

First half was very obviously NOT her. Too “terse”.

by Rosa Nunez at 6/7/2008 12:37:24 PM

    There’s LOTS more here!

    • David Axisrutt

Obama is hallucinating if he thinks we will come back to him.

He’s hallucinating because he’s chilling out with some pakalolo.

  • Andy

You can tell by her face and demeanor that the only thing she is saying that she feels truely is this last part about women and the young people having no limits; etc. All the first part was performance. Her face, expression and demeanor changed completely after she had to recite the DNC talking points.

  • Karma

Wooo Hooo….she even tagged that racism thing.

That her daughter is more enlightened than Obama…LOL

  • norma

I cannot get on the bus with the trolls, troglodites and cretans. I saw too much. beginning with the local caucuses and county convention.
I always hoped that Florida (Bush vs Gore) was a kink in the cosmos, but it was not. The DNC has to do something very remarkable for me to forget what they have done. I speak for myself and many others that are thoroughly appalled at the UnDemocratic Party.
Hopefully, this race will now be about the person with the most experience. Thank you, DNC.

  • Tommy

Okay, unless hearing what Hillary said, America will be shafted…..Hillary,said she endorses and will support Obama…Yeah,Right!!! The catch is,is she has not released her Superdelegates and won’t, release them until either during the Convention or afterwards…”HA”,So her saying she endorses and supports Obama at this point is meaningless….Let us all wait until she does release the SuperDelegates then we can campaign for our rights and our voices to be heard loud and clear.

We Shall vote for McCain and prevail in November!!!

    • David Axisrutt

It’s not totally meaningless. It’s in character for her. Barry would never think of doing this. Working for Hillary. He doesn’t like working at all and save this campaign has successfully avoided it all his life. And Hill is a real true Democrat. Believes in the party and all that shit.

But yes – Denver’s three months off and some people can still smell the bread burning.

  • David Axisrutt

Now she’s back on that ‘vote for Barry thing’. I bet Axelrod had to approve the speech before he pulled the lever and put funds in her account.

    • Pat Babb

Axelrod — MAN! He is worse than Dick Cheney and he is the A-Number One reason I will never vote for Barack. Axelrod is poison.

  • Nebraskan

For those of you still voting for McCain, I hope you get drafted into his hundred year war if he wins. (because I sure as hell know you won’t enlist voluntarily)

    • Mr.Murder

Obama talked like he was ready to start war with Iran at the AIPAC convention this week.

Flip flopped on everything he campaigned over at the drop of a hat.

      • cowgirlblues

He already had to retract several statements he made at that speech-He and lieberman are going at it-there is NO way he can get the jewish vote-he has blown fla. already-don’t bother trying to give a thirsty man a bowl of sand.

        • cowgirlblues

last night on Bill Moyers-NPB-black contributer said the black voting block is a little upset Obama has not addresed any of their issues in his speeches but he said he knows it is in Obamas best interest not to—but he is confident he will change his tune once elected–he also thinks Obama should NOT have townhall debates with McCain as the big rally speech is his best format-and McCains is the town hall-he said Obama can worry about connecting with america when he is elected president–Guy was partof jessie jacksons campaign-ALSO- Obama is NOT first black candidate-warren g harding was biracial-did you know??????/

        • Lucinda

Lieberman has already endorsed McCain. As a matter of fact he’s heading up the Citizens for McCain movement. Here’s his link on McCain’s website: http://www.johnmccain.com/citizens/

    • TeakWoodKite

      Nebraskan…

You need to stop wandering around in all the mustard fields and understand if elected Obama is going to get people killed. He has know idea

      1) how to listen
      2) how to learn
      2) or experience

“Chance favors a prepared mind” , and he ain’t it.

    • Test Platform

Yup, and we have been fighting a war in Germany since 1945.

    • Pat Babb

Obama isn’t going to get us out Iraq either.

Obama doesn’t want to accomplish anything, he just wants to BE president, just like Dubya.

You’ll find that out when you carry the Great State of Nebraska for him — since he won’t be winning OH, MI, FL or PA, he’ll really need those 5 electoral college votes from Nebraska.

      Go Huskers!

  • Andy

Did they fill the museum hall with BO supporters? Seems too obvious.

    • Nebraskan

Yep. Didn’t you know that the Nation of Islam and Howard Dean conspired to pack that hall with Obama supporters?

  • Mel

Sorry Senator Clinton, electing a crook and sexist like Obama is never going to happen, we are not bogged by Democratic Party assholes, but to the country that does not deserve the worst form of human character in the oval office!

    • David Axisrutt

I’ve heard George HW Bush gets paid over $1 million for a speech sometimes. Handsome Bill gets $250 K sometimes. But no one’s ever given a $20 million speech before. Wow. ;)

      • catherine

        LOL

        • claribel borden

I never heard Barack Obama make a speech like this. His speeches are all about HIM. I I I I Me Me Me Me.

    • David Axisrutt

With fucking Barack it’s always only about him. His smiles – if you can call them smiles – are all about him. Seriously: what’s the difficulty for these 18yo turds? It takes perhaps 10 seconds tops to see through the sack of shit.

    • jimbobuddy

You are factually incorrect. Hillary’s non concession concession speech was all ‘I’. Barack’s was ‘we’.

  • zozosmom

    What just happened?

  • josie

Yeah! we shall prevail by continuing Bush’s failed policies!

    the ignorance here is astounding

    • zozosmom

We must destroy the cancer that has taken over the Democratic Party before we can fix the rest of the country. Hiring Stalinists to fight Nazis is not the choice for me.

      • catherine

        AMEN!

    • David Axisrutt

No josie – we’re OK and we don’t need your help. Thanks anyway. You wanna know what’s really astounding?

      - Why pieces of shit like you want to come over here to bully and harass.
      - How people can be as stupid as you to mindlessly rally around a demagogue the way the Germans rallied around Adolf Hitler before World War TWO.

That’s what most people in here would call really fucking astounding.

And now that you’ve been corrected: get the fuck out of here.

      Bye, moron.

  • It’s Not Me

This is now about the corrupt Democratic Party and the corrupt DNC. This isn’t about Hillary anymore unless she gets the nomination before August.

  • Mr.Murder

I will vote to protect her in November.

    • David Axisrutt

McCain! McCain! McCain! McCain! McCain! McCain! McCain! McCain! McCain!

  • http://camoderate ca moderate

I am utterly disappointed that Sen. Clinton would even ask us to support that sham for a human being. When she talks about values, I know mine and his record, history of blantant lies and misrepresentations, and total lack of experience do not jive = I have no proof that he would stand for anything. In fact if you look at his history he seems to stand for a lot of things (racism, corruption, flip-flopping) that are not my values. I will never ever support Obama and if the dnc things we will willy nilly follow the dnc like the rest of lemmings that believe in Obama – they are not lucid. My new candidate does not believe in hope and change – he lived it 5 years in the Hanoi Hilton.

Get a grip Hillary – do not make your supporter throw you under the bus like the MSM and the dnc.

I’ll be unsubscribing, leaving the dnc, and voting for McCain. Sorry it has ended this way. You cannot simply smile and pave over all the misogyny. Actions of candidates and their surrogates speak lower than “JUST WORDS”. Hillary may have to put up with this – I do not.

All I can say is NO I WON’T – I WILL NEVER VOTE FOR BARRACK OBAMA. He is not the change, hope, or messiah I seek.

MCCAIN in 09- Hillary in 2012!

    PUMA’s Unite!!

    • catherine

She was FORCED to say that crap. You don’t really think she believes it? She knows us…she knows we don’t believe it either.

      • claribel borden

But at a certain point you have to say NO, and let your morals guide your decisions. Most of those people are parody, like Chris Matthews, say, but Hillary should have known better, is smart enough to know better. The others aren’t.

        Obama is a moron.

Political pragmatism has led to this mess, and it won’t stop until the politicians say “no more.”

That means you dont’ take the money.

It was a bad decision, sorry.

    • http://deleted AnninCa

I loved her speech. She gave the true challenge she faced its due. This time, we lost.

We won’t again, because we now know the truth of the matter. We’ve been hearing pandering lies for years. We just did’t know it. LOL* We were busy raising the next generation of Americans and working and doing all that we do.

Now…….oh boy………now do we get it.

Now that I’ve heard what they really say about me? Boy, boy, boy…..

I made a decision not to color my hair. Seems like a small thing. I hate getting my hair colored. I’m bored at beauty shops. God, just don’t bore me is my mantra in life.

Now that I know the ageism and sexism that exists?

I agree with her. Knowing is good. It hurts. But it’s good.

I’d rather deal with reality any day than be manipulated by untruths.

She is right on one level that to support him appears to be our best bet.

However, she’s wrong on the only level that matters to me, anyway.

I do not support any party who stood by and even encouraged this treatment of the vast majority of their party base.

Frankly, that would be supporting idiots. I have too much pride for that.

So they will go this path without me, anyway.

No way, now how, and kudos to Hillary for a speech that really will end up in the textbooks for it’s clarity and strength.

His race speech will be tossed in the trashcan where it belongs.

This one? This one was a keeper.

      • cowgirlblues

It took 30 years to realise what we thought we had accomplished, was a lie-what we really got was a pat on the head, why do you think they call us bitches-they think of us a dogs, to be their bestfriend-and fetch their slippers, but when we step over the big line-they unleased their true feelings…payback is coming DNC-its coming

  • phatphat

i was just banned from taylor marsh, TM˙

    • It’s Not Me

WHY? She’s now not allowing any BO bashing? Or did you voice support of McCain, which she won’t allow. I left there the day she said she would support BO. No thanks. Talk Left won’t allowed any BO bashing either, so I won’t be going back there either.:(

      • hillarysmygirl

Nope, took Taylor Marsh off my bookmarks, I don’t go there anymore. She’s ambitious and wants to be a bigger celebrity/star…not gonna get invited to MSNBC to be a talking head if you don’t let the Chosen Thug’s trolls sh*t all over your site. It’s her world, she gets to be the Queen of her universe. (But personally, for the camera I’d lose the bad hair dye job and the hooker clothes. That’s just me.)

    • phatphat

      Taylor Marsh is a sell-out.

      • audacity

i called her a closeted obama supporter from the beginning. i will elaborate later. during the DNC-RBC meeting last week she almost previewed the results.

but hey, there r politics as bloggers too. if u can’t have a good fight and be important as HUFF or Daily K it’s easy to take a different angle and become important in your stance. she had nothing to loose. now she can get on supporting him.

      • Pat Babb

I don’t think TM is a sell out. I know many Democrats who are loyal the party, and, unlike me, they either see beyond the current leadership, or they choose to work within the party for the ideals we all cherish as Democrats. I’m still loyal to the ideals the Democratic Party is supposed to embody, but personally, I can’t be loyal to this crowd. I wouldn’t trash the Democrats who can. They are still our friends.

Taylor wasn’t always a Hillary supporter. She keeps an open mind and she decided Hillary would be the best president for our country.

  • Mel

Well the most important thing happened today, Hillary did not END her campaign, suspending it doesn’t give Bambi anything, and Denver is 3 months from now, so time has come to refocus and expose Bambi and not play into the OBAMATWATS hands of bullshit anymore!

PS. Hear there are death threats over at http://hcsfjm.com/ Chicago way of Barack Hussein Obama now coming into play!

  • http://hyper-educated-uppity-woman.blogspot.com Uppity Woman

Ok everybody get your hip boots out. Barky Obama is going to try to talk to all the Sweeties out there and tell them how much he and his vibrating cell phone– and his revolting supporters who use the word C*nt as one of their favorite vocabulary words–care about you.

    • roseeriter

Yes, because as much as I love Hillary , the alternative will still be Hillary Hatred, misogyny and Corporate rule. And Obabamaniacs and Bush Republicans and fucking sickening pundits will be leading the charge. And so it goes…

  • KG

Let’s hope Obama picks one heck of VP candidate because with HRC giving speeches like that, he will win in November.

  • Nebraskan

Woohoo! No more Clintons in the White House! Go ahead and do what Rush Limbaugh wants you to do. Everyone knows the racists among the democrat party will vote for McCain anyway.

funny how it is racist to not want to vote for a corrupt, unqualified, sexist who uses race at every turn to satisfy his own personal agenda while smoke screening the dimwits who call themselves educated and to this day cannot give any substance to the empty suit politician who is as seedy as the come from Chicago!

    • phatphat

The only racists are Obama and his disgusting wife.

No “DEMOCRAT” would EVER refer to the “DEMOCRATIC” Party as the “Democrat” Party, so you are NO DEMOCRAT. THAT is a RW way to irritate Democrats. now, Fuck off. McCain gets my vote.

    • Lucinda

      Democrat Party?

You just slipped up and showed your hand, Nebraskan. You’re not a Democrat or you’d know that it’s the Democrat(ic) Party. Or maybe that was a typo in the troll manual that all of you get your comments from.

  • maggie

What the hell is wrong with Gloria Steinem? A shill for the Democratic Party, leaving women in the dust. I feel as though I have been wrong about everything all my life. This is disturbing. Does she really think that a sexism speech that is as stupid as his racism speech would have any affect on people with common sense. Oh right, there aren’t many. So she thinks.

  • http://www.bartcop.com/141-bombshell-sample.m3u Proud of Hillary

Hillary, we admire and respect you, and would do virtually anything you ask of us.

However, there is one thing we absolutely will not do for you or anyone else….

WE WILL NOT FOR FOR OBAMA

  • HARP

Now ,maybe Hillary dosen`t-+ get it. It`s not about you anymore Hillary. It`s about the DNC raping 18 million people and I for one am pissed off enough that you can sit on my lap and sing Danny Boy and it would not make any difference,

There is a song that keeps popping into my head. CAN’T YOU SEE WE’RE ON THE EAVE OF DESTRUCTION? The Democratic Party’s next convention will be in Jonestown–koolaid served at 4:00pm.

    Welcome everyone to Stepford America.

    • mimi

      shall,

You never responded to my question. Is there something recorded with regard to Obama making fun of the AA community? Or was that just a joke on your part to needle the trolls. If not, can you elaborate.

Thanks. I’m just curious is all.

Being banned from TM is a badge of honor these days.

That site has become an empty shell, on which the Obamabots are dancing, and showing yet again thier lack of manners.

It’s a hell of a tactic to try and convince people to vote for the empty suit.

    There too smart by 1/2.

Alright everybody – it’s back to work. I am sure each and everyone of you has had to do something you didn’t want to to save (fill in the blank)(your bosses ass, face, the cards up your sleeve) except for the likes of the flaccid trolls making their payola leaving their trash on our sites from their dorm rooms. Now it the time we have to gather all of our pride and march right back in the ring. GO Hillary! WE’VE GOT YOUR BACK.

Don’t you get the feeling that even Obamanuts would have to admit the Democratic leadership have just cluster fucked this up to the max.

Speech just ended. Hillary’s been given a transfusion of kool aid, well, I’m not buying it. Everything she stands for will be defeated by obama whether she knows it or not, we do. Maybe you have to be a little further removed to get the real picture.

Hillary’s speech interwove her high standards, her vision and her principles with the false equation that obama stands for any of that. Why she is doing so, we may never know. But here’s what we do know:

We are NOT an army of brainless obamanots. We support democracy, which is no longer the policy, practice or foundation of the democratic party who stoled this nomination, stoled the Super Delegation and stoled the votes of FLA & MI. So do we hop on this bandwagon, we certainly do not!

Sure, we’re disappointed that, overtly, anyway, Hillary is not a focal point of leadership for this cause. That won’t budge us – not one inch. The Democratic party is over. The time for Independence is now. Still a miracle could arrive in time for Denver. Certainly we can and should continue to demand that the DNC wake up.

Yet, if that does not happen, we all know that McCaine is a more reasoning man, more of a Centrist, more of a negotiator and FAR more inclined to keep his word, when he gives his word than obama could ever be – were he even to receive a much needed Heart implant and brain transplant.

So, thanks for everything, Hill, we agree with all you say that you stood for, and maybe, really will still keep begging for and praying for. If you want to be used, after being so abused, your choice is your own. You were right about one thing for sure- many of your supporters will continue to stand for democracy -which absulutely means 1. declaring voter independent status 2. actively working against all candidates who run for office as pledged to obama 3. signing up for the McCaine campaign ASAP to defeat obama.

This is a matter of principle, intelligent thought and integrity – not blind emotion as we are accused. So let the attacks and spin go on – it won’t stop us. There is a light and its path is leading out of the corrupt Democratic party.

So long for now, Hillary. Maybe we’ll meet up later – somewhere along the way.

    • FLVoter

Do not give up on Hillary because she did what she had to do – the one and only thing my mother taught me. If you give up on her we will lose the strongest point of organization we have. We cannot do it alone – if you have been around for awhile you know that is true.

The thing that has hit me the most since Tuesday is that I am so happy that I make my living in an apolitical profession. I do not have to pander, lie and violate my core values just to have a job. I am sick that Hillary made this speech. We knew she had to do it because politics is the life she chose. I am immature politically because I feel betrayed and insulted to be asked to vote for a sham, racist, sexist candidate. My vote will go to McCain. This is a vote against the corrupt Democratic Party and a vote against OB and a vote for Hillary in 2012.

    • claribel borden

It’s best to be truly free, to live by your own values. Most people don’t even know what those are, they let others people define who they are, even the head of CNN.

Your really dont understand how a filthy fucked up guy like Obama pollutes everything, until you’re out, and looking in.

The war will bankrupt the country unless significant change is made in Washington, and within the parody elite.

CNN is a joke, as metaphor for the greater washington strucutre, it WILL not come from that quarter, they’re as dumb as they sound.

    • Yo

I’m 100% with you on this one. I too feel betrayed that she would ask us to vote for this terrorist loving, corrupt, sexist, racist politician. She has given up her own belief system to do that and I know politican’s must do what they must in order to survive and fight another day but to foist this man upon us is unexcusable.

By her support of him, she is saying to me that all those attacks against us as a voting bloc were all right and they aren’t and never will be.

That one pundit said that the Clinton years are over. That they will no longer have the power politically anymore and it is a new era. I say new ERA my ass.

Keep fighting for the nomination for Hillary! There is no nominee until, the end of August! If that fails we help elect McCain. ;)

    • Shahid

jacquiet, I can sense your frustration that Hillary did not fight in her speech today but she had no choice. We are smart enough to support her by voting for McCain. She hasn’t let us down, that was done by the Party – Brazile/Pelosi/Dean etc. and by the press. Don’t lose faith in Hillary…She gave probably the best speech in the campaign today, better than Obama’s speech on race and demonstrated clearly for everyone who has eyes and can see that she is the best candidate to lead this country, period. Did you notice she didn’t say a single bad thing about McCain?

  • David Axisrutt

    Here’s the catch, people:

They’re going to leverage rhetoric and every trick in the book at you until November. And that’s a long way off. You can spend time replying to keep them scared shitless but what really matters happens in November.

So you have to be patient. A bit of Hamlet if you will: ‘suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune’. But you don’t have to give in and you don’t have to lose. It’s Barry and his fellow crooks who are afraid of losing.

All you have to do is bide your time. You’re on the offensive now. They’re scared – they’re scared of you. You’re holding the election and their collective fortunes hostage. And they know it and you should know they know it.

So chill out, have a bit of fun taunting them, and wait for November. And then punch their bloody lights out. ;)

    • It’s Not Me

      I like your posts…;)

    • catherine

I’m still not giving up that Hillary will win the nom at the Convention. But yes, you’re right. Hillary supporters are EXTREMELY powerful. We WILL determine who the next presdient will be. If not Hillary then it will be McCain and Dean, Pelosi, Brazile et al can step up to the plate and accept their responsibility for this.

      • hillarysmygirl

And right now, Hillary is the most powerful woman in America. All 18 million of us are the most powerful group in America because we hold the fate of the next election in our hands. On C-SPAN, Clinton and Obama supporters are encouraged to call in and voice their opinions while we watch Hillary and Bill work the crowd. One Obama supporter, a woman, was trying to shame us into voting for Obama, saying what kind of Democrats were we if we didn’t vote for him? And then she proceeded to bash Hillary. It’s a “wife abuser” mindset that the Obama supporters are now bleating, “If you’re a good Democrat, you’ll vote for Obama. And by the way, your candidate is sh*t and the fact that you supported her means you’re sh*t. But you should vote for Obama.” Nice.

Bide your time, everybody. Let them “act a fool,” as a friend of mine says. Let them beg us. We’ll see what happens in August. Or November. Or 2012. Don’t give up. Time is on our side.

Oh – she already paid her debt off. Stupid fuck.

    • http://www.writehillaryin.com jacquiet.

Here, Kerry, is the reason any smart, dedicated supporter will help no further with those debts:

As stated on MSNBullC during the wait for her arrival, if obama is the final nominee come August, and, Hillary’s debt is NOT paid off, the obama campaign will have to support it! His contributors resent this considerably.

So, if you want to give this gift, indirectly, to obama’s campaign and the crooked, deserves to fall to nothing, so-called democratic party, be our guest.

If a dollar more comes from my pocket, it will be to DEFEAT obama, in whatever form becomes the most clear effective channel for doing so! So, also will go my volunteerism in all forms.

18 Million cracks will not be silenced.

All this crap on here about whether I am a real democrat makes me insane. I’m a lifelong democrat (since I was 19 yrs old) and I am voting for McCain because a vote for Obama is a vote for corruption.

Obama outspent Hillary 3:1 and he still couldn’t get the popular vote or the pledged delegates. So, Dean, Pelosi and Reid got on the phone and strong-armed the superdelegates to declare they’ll vote for Obama at the convention.

Alcey Hastings said he would boycott the convention, now he’s singing cumbaya and doing the unity dance.

I never thought I’d see this level of corruption in the United States. So don’t ask me if i’m a real democrat. Ask yourself if YOU are!

Call me a troll all you want but today more than ever I am absolutely proud to be a Democrat. On Wednesday August 28, 2008 in Denver, CO at the Democratic National Convention on the 45th anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King’s Jr. “I have a Dream” speech an African American will accept the Democratic nomination for President.

One line from Dr. King’s speech that stands out to me is this, “I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.”

I would suggest you be careful with your donations at this point. Be sure you know where your $$$ will end up. If you are against the Obama campaign, then be sure you aren’t inadvertently pumping money his way. I’ve already stopped giving to Hillary’s campaign (let Obama pay off the debt, it’s the price of admission) and started putting my money behind McCain. McCain needs the resources to defeat Obama. Great speech, she did not throw her supporters under the bus as many wanted her to, when the printed version of this speech is publish you will understand what she is saying she will keep fighting for all that she believed in.

I took some of that speech to say it was the beginning of Hillary’s new campaign for the Presidency 2012, they cannot say now that she did not ask her supporters to vote for Obama, but she also reminded the DNC in 40 years that have failed at getting that job done, her asking does not mean in anyway that her supporters will go along with her request.

She did what they asked her to do, but if we all noticed she never said one bad word about McCain. We all now have to digest what she said and decide my decision is am going with McCain.

    • David Axisrutt

We really honestly don’t know what she’s doing or planning. We can only hope. As the fate of the planet literally hangs in the balance. But one thing’s certain: no one has to or wants to vote for Plastic Obama. Goal #1 right now is to make sure – for the safety of the world – that his political career ends. Goal #2 is to get Hill back if she wants to. Unfortunately the enormous healing agenda she represented after 8 years of W has to wait perhaps another four years. But that’s the name of the game: patience.

  • JB

    Stay strong, everyone!

Over the next few months you will be subjected to a barrage of tactics to get you to cave and vote Obama.

Do not be the girl that comes back to the abusive boyfriend. He will not change.

2008 is about honor, duty and country, not being bought and sold by a sleazy, shadowy operation.

Obama will govern as he ran: as a thuggish cult leader with Hitler-youth type minions to intimidate those unwilling to fall in line. He will go with what got him elected.

Salvation of America is in your hands — if you succumb to temptation or are fooled by sweet entreaties, we’re in for dark times.

    • Andy

Agreed !! It’ll get testy. Stay strong people.

    • SensibleWoman

2008 is about honor, duty and country, not being bought and sold by a sleazy, shadowy operation.

Exactly. And by Hillary “suspending”, we can continue to help her in that respect, too, so that nobody can buy and sell her either.

    • hillarysmygirl

Obama will NOT govern as he ran, because he WILL NOT govern. There’s no way he will win in November without us. I just don’t see how he will get those of us he offended back or those who will never trust him to come over.

Thanks for saying that! I was actually trying to think of a new name, but NO, you’re right! No matter what happens, she’ll remain my hero.

    • http://deleted AnninCa

If something so horrible happens to him that he has to step down, that won’t be a great day for America.

I don’t wish that on our country. I sure don’t mind seeing him get beaten soundly.

4 years of a hero like McCain with moderate leanings?

      We could do worse.

But to get her the nomination now? That would require a tragedy I don’t wish on the AA community or on me, for that matter.

There are worse things than a weak candidate.

      • hillarysmygirl

My husband said, “The DNC is crazy! Who do they think most American people will vote for? A war hero or a guy named Barack Hussein Obama?”

We haven’t had a war hero since Kennedy. No matter how many billions the Chosen Thug spends on a general election, there’s no way he can defeat McCain. Hillary is our only hope.

      • catherine

It does’nt take a tragedy to bring him down.
All it takes is for the truth about him to come out before the convention. The DNC will have no choice but to MAKE him withdraw.

    • cowgirlblues

I agree wholeheartedly-shes not done and we are not done. The time for McCain is after the convention in denver….get your popcorn-the real show is just starting, they have to keep fighting us and the republicans-keep up the fight as a Hillary supporter for McCain in protest

Critical of Hillary’s speech, not in the least, the door is open, for bigger things to come down the pipe now!

Her campaign is not ended, but suspended!

3 months till Denver and Obama screws up every other day!

The monkey is now off Hillary’s back in doing what she did today for not being blamed for Bambi’s fall from grace!

The joke is Bambi telling the press that”attacks on my wife are just unacceptable” well now they are going to come fast and furious and Bambi will become the center of full attention Rove et al style!

This is going to be a fun few months watching the scum politician from Chicago tumble! And while Rezko sings, the heavens gates will open and a bright light will be shining and voices will be singing as the corruption of the Chicago Combine tumbles and the Democratic Party crumbles!

    • catherine

C’mon Republicans! The ball is in your court now…do what you do BEST….dig up ALL of Obama’s dirty laundry….and there’s plenty of goodies there ;)

  • HARP

Strange how you never hear Obama or his supporters say GOD BLESS AMERICA.

    • It’s Not Me

IN FACT, during his speech Tuesday night, the one where he anointed himself the nominee, at the end of the speech he started to say, “G-d bless America”, but there was a LOOOONG pause before he could spit it out. Even my husband noticed how he paused and he doesn’t ever notice nuances like that. BO is a FRAUD.

  • Patricia

OK…….here’s my reaction. It was the right and perfect speech. I don’t mind admitting, I boo-hooed over here. I could’t help it.

Obama supporters won’t get the speech, but that’s because they don’t get us or her supporters. That’s probably why they’ll fail to attract us to vote for him, too.

    They just don’t get us.

But anyway, I’m glad I showed up for the speech. It was astonishing and brilliant and just so Hillary.

  • Judith

I watched C-Span, until I heard a caller accuse Hillary of trying to pit Blacks and Jewish against each other…then realized that Obama supporters were calling on all lines. However, one woman from Arizona expressed a desire for Hillary to be a Supreme Court Justice…great idea. I finally settled on CNN for actual speech.

Hillary Clinton is one dignified and gracious person. I got the feeling that when she was addressing the “cracks in the glass ceiling”…there might have been some hope for a future run.

    • http://deleted AnninCa

Oh, I just tuned into CNN Live and only listened to the crowd and to Hillary.

Hillary be ready to step in.

They were out in full force today because they realized stealing the nomination is the closest they will get to having an actual victory. But then Hillary just suspended her campaign so as to wait for Obama to wither under McCain’s onslaught, thus denying them even this little bit of temporary happiness. It’s got to be unnerving for Obama and his team to never have anything turn out like they want.

  • Andy

What you Obama supporters don’t understand is that we are not all stupid, vengeful idiots. I know it is beyond your comprehension to believe that maybe some people just don’t like Obama, don’t trust him, don’t buy all the bull he sells. I do belive John McCain is a better choice. Can’t you get it? No, of course you can’t, you’re so sold on Obama, you can’t comprehend that concept. It’s much easier to label us and simplify our intentions to a very primal level.

  • http://www.marcysmutiny.blogspot.com/ MessyMarcy

I’m really glad to hear you are so sensitive. I have watched Obama grow more wan and listless as the campaign has gone on; and, while I of course despise and revile him for the lying, race-baiting, bigoted piece of crap that he is, I would never wish him harm. So while you Obamabutts have made threats, disparaging remarks and wishes that harm would come to Hillary, I have started to spend a lot of time worrying about Obama’s health, both physical and mental. He just looks so tired and disoriented, and it really concerned me when he started to hallucinate more states and repeatedly forget what city and state he was in.

I do hope you will be there for him in his hour of need this November, or possibly sooner, to hold his hand and whisper those sweet words of comfort that will not be forthcoming from Michelle. You are truly a good and loyal friend to him to be willing to come on here and buffoonishly keep reminding people why they should not vote for him. Oh, wait, that makes you a friend of McCain.

    Keep up the good work.

  • http://www.marcysmutiny.blogspot.com/ MessyMarcy

I think Cheney is going to introduce legislation requiring anyone making less than $1 million per year to carpool; and in the spirit of bipartisanship Obama has promised to vote for it, just like he did Cheney’s energy bill that is now giving us the $4/gallon gas. Why don’t you contact one of them for carpooling information?

Obama may not be able to get back to you right away, though. He’s busy interviewing applicants for the vacant position of Obama’s Crazy Preacher now that the others have left. You should apply for that. There are very few real qualifications, and you meet the ones of being both nuts and obnoxious. Can you do that funny little dance they do while shouting out the Hillary hatred? If yes, you’re a shoo-in.
