We will be waiting whenever you need to call us to action in the future. I cannot in good conscience ever vote for Obama and McCain now has my family’s votes.

Please do not be heartbroken you cannot carry the burden of those will will not let this nation be insecure or at risk of economic collapse under an Obama Presidency. We must all do what we think is right.

You will always be a hero for me, and you are working every day for my family who is still in NY and I know you will always fight for us our values and our nation.

Our campaign on this very important blog is not suspended. ;)

Wow the trolls only got 5 minutes of spin out of Hillary’s speech today.

    Hillary ’08

We are all super secret GOP operatives you trolls. ;)

Kindly remove your tinfoil hats now.

It sounds as if the Obama campaign with he help of the corporate media will continue to play the race card, so they can get his numbers up.

I will not support Obama. If they want to call me names that don’t belong to me – they can do that, but it doesn’t get my vote.

  • SONIA

HILLARY – you are simply the best

there will never be another woman as intelligent as you

Oh and please don’t post those two lame McCain remarks, one of which wasn’t his and the other which never happened. I have pages of pig Obama things.

will continue to play the race card, so they can get his numbers up.

I think this is a GREAT idea. People will FLOCK to the polls to shut this up and get rid of him. All they see it as is terrorism. People are sick of hearing the race card, sick of being threatened for every little bullshit thing. And it’s only June!

You know, Danny, I’ve always learned this about life. There is always a bright spot in losing.

One is……who gives a fuck what he says now. My girl is out of it.

I get to not give a big fuck what he says.

Breaking News: L.R. has copy of Obama’s acceptance speech in Denver.
Senator Obama has been caught plagiarizing. Most recently, on Tuesday, he gave a speech lifted in large part from Governor Cuomo’s address to the 1984 Democratic Convention. In light of Obama’s problem with stealing other’s words there is much speculation about his upcoming convention acceptance speech.

Lynne and I have received a copy of the speech Senator Obama will make at the convention from an anonymous source in the Obama camp.

(Okay, actually we got David Geffen drunk and told him if he got us the speech Jake Gyllenhaal and Prince Harry would dress up like Vikings and “raid” his yacht. To our surprise a copy of the speech came via Fed Ex the next day.)

We print the first draft here to see if any intrepid bloggers can ferret out potential plagiarism.

You are not invisable-Hillary is not gone-she is on her way to denver, our support and faith must remain stronger than ever–be sad if you must-but get up tomorrow, put your Hillary smile on like she did through all the bullshit, and soldier on. She gave us a roadmap to follow-and its a roadmap to Denver-fight in any way you can. She exposed the problem-now we will solve it.

All women should watch this video everyday until Nov. especially any time you feel like “giving in”. They are counting on women to get tired and give in, do not let this happen.

Yes she has to say this to fight another day. Its politics.

Now we get back to the business of fighting Obama and getting Hillary the nomination!

  • Catriley

How can I sum up the gratitude and respect I have for Hillary in a simple comment box? Hillary is truly one of the finest people I have ever had the privelege of supporting.

And, Susan thank you for putting up that wonderful video. I had not had a chance to really sit down and feel any of this since all of this went down.

I still believe in my heart that Hillary is the real hope for America. I refuse to support McCain. I have been here at NQ for several months, but my conscience does not allow me be swept up in the pro-McCain movement.

I am honoring my total support for Hillary by not crossing that aisle for a reupblican who does not stand for anything in that beautiful video. That is how I’m telling Hillary I’m here for her. If some people feel that things may come out that would make Obama step aside, then why would I spend an second or a cent to empower McCain? Think about that as you decide how to best support Hillary, and her ideals.

    Peace, Catriley

This was posted from another site. This must be addressed.

“O-Bots are hitting an all time new low. Here is an article from my local paper regarding a mass Dem Voter Drive”:

    http://www.nola.com/news/t-p/frontpage/index.ssf?/base/news-10/1212816745283060.xml&coll=1

    Here is an excerpt:

“While Voting Is Power has sent in batches of applications for months, registrars have begun to see a disturbing pattern of misinformation on the forms, including duplicates, cards filled out with different colors of ink, or using the names of pets or dead people. In Jefferson, DiMarco sensed something amiss when a new registration card recently crossed his desk.”

This is going on in every state and I bet its going to get a lot worse.

THEY ARE GOING TO TRY TO STEAL THIS ELECTION!!!!!!! Do not stay Home on voting day.

I can see why Hillary and McCain are equally appealing to folks here:

“I want the Iranians to know that if I’m the president, we will attack Iran,” … “In the next 10 years, during which they might foolishly consider launching an attack on Israel, we would be able to totally obliterate them.”

Remember the days of ABB? Howzabout ABC?

You can be a white feminist and vote for Hillary Clinton. But you can’t vote for Clinton if you’ve raised a single objection to George Bush’s murderous and insane foreign policy. There is no candidate more pro torture, pro mercenary, or pro war than Ms. Clinton. Likewise, her contempt for international law, particularly that which would limit civilian casualties, is fucking unrivaled.

So, yeah, a Clinton presidency would be a token victory for wealthy white women in the United States. But it’d also be a vote for the butchery of non-wealthy non-white women, the rest of the world over.

Meaning, in a way, it’s the perfect stance for white feminists, isn’t it? A vote for Hillary Clinton helps ensure white feminist interests, while ensuring the open imperialism that ensures their over-indulged status is reinforced.

All in the name of, ahem, diversity.

  • http://www.obamacankissmyass.com **== President & Commander-in-Chief Hillary Clinton **==

Hillary’s speech today is full of political statements she has to make in order to be able to fight another day. Most people here will never vote for Obama but we respect your right to do as you wish.

  • Felix Rodriguez

Is that still you, Desmond? Obviously, even with that 170 IQ you cannot read between the lines.

Anyway, we take this to the convention. She keeps her delegates and with a lot of prayer and a little luck, BO will have a few more skeletons fall out of that closet of his.

    Hillary Clinton By the Numbers:

+ The first First Lady to come under criminal investigation

+ The first First Lady to almost be indicted acccording to one of the special prosecutors

+ Number of Hillary Clinton fundraisers convicted of, or pleading no contest to, crime: 5

+ Number of times that Hillary Clinton, providing testimony to Congress, said that she didn’t remember, didn’t know, or something similar: 250

+ Number of close business partners of Hillary Clinton who ended up in prison: 3. The Clintons’ two partners in Whitewater were convicted of 24 counts of fraud and conspiracy. Hillary Clinton’s partner and mentor at the Rose law firm, Webster Hubbell, pleaded guilty to federal mail fraud and tax evasion charges, including defrauding former clients and former partners out of more than $480,000. Hillary Clinton was mentioned 35 times in the indictment.

+ In the 1980s, Hillary Clinton made a $44,000 profit on a $2,000 investment in a cellular phone franchise deal took advantage of the FCC’s preference for locals, minorities and women. The franchise was almost immediately flipped to the cellular giant, McCaw.

+ Hillary Clinton and her husband set up a resort land scam known as Whitewater in which the unwitting bought third rate property 50 miles from the nearest grocery store and, thanks to the sleazy financing, about half the purchasers, many of them seniors, lost their property.

+ In 1993 Hillary Clinton and David Watkins moved to oust the White House travel office in favor of World Wide Travel, Clinton’s source of $1 million in fly-now-pay-later campaign trips that essentially financed the last stages of the campaign without the bother of reporting a de facto contribution. The White House fired seven long-term employees for alleged mismanagement and kickbacks. The director, Billy Dale, charged with embezzlement, was acquitted in less than two hours by the jury.

+ Two months after commencing the Whitewater scheme, Hillary Clinton invested $1,000 in cattle futures. Within a few days she had a $5,000 profit. Before bailing out she earns nearly $100,000 on her investment. Many years later, several economists will calculate that the chances of earning such returns legally were one in 250 million.

+ In 1996, Hillary Clinton’s Rose law firm billing records, sought for two years by congressional investigators and the special prosecutor were found in the back room of the personal residence at the White House. Clinton said she had no idea how they got there.

+ In 2007, A Pakistani immigrant who hosted fundraisers for Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton became a target of the FBI allegations that he funneled illegal contributions to Clinton’s political action committee and to Sen. Barbara Boxer’s 2004 re-election campaign. Authorities say Northridge, Calif., businessman Abdul Rehman Jinnah, 56, fled the country shortly after being indicted on charges of engineering more than $50,000 in illegal donations to the Democratic committees.

+ The ‘Fellowship’: Through all of her years in Washington, Clinton has been an active participant in conservative Bible study and prayer circles that are part of a secretive Capitol Hill group known as the Fellowship. (Mother Jones – September 1, 2007)

+ “Disgraced fund-raiser Norman Hsu did a lot more than just pump $850,000 into Hillary Clinton’s campaign bank account: He also raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for local, state, and federal candidates who have endorsed Clinton or whose support she courted.” (Boston Globe)

  • Susan

The more I see of Hillary, the more I know she is the only possible candidate for POTUS:
intelligent, dignified, knowledgeable, personable, real, reliable, focused, patriotic, and really there for all the people.

And there are reasons NOT to vote for someone for this position:
You shouldn’t vote for someone because of cuteness, sexism, racism, deep pockets, questionable friends (advisors, mentors, religious leaders, et al), hipness, pressure, threats, or empty words of inspiration.

I am deeply disappointed that for selfish and self-serving reasons, the DNC has chosen not to place Hillary in our White House. You know who you are! You will have to live with that shame for a long, long time.

Meanwhile, I have a strong sense of victory for Hillary, and I do believe she will prevail. She has earned my total respect, and I believe that there are many, many people who agree with me and will continue to support her.

Cudos to you, Hillary! See you soon!

  • beverly leslie

If you watch this video why would you support the DNC or Obambi? The DNC has not stood up for anything Hillary stands for either. This is the position the DNC has put all women in. So I’m sorry, Mccain will get my vote.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kcdnlNZg2iM

Obambi does not stand for UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE!
Obambi is the only one of the three voted for the BUSH CHENEY ENERGY BILL.
Obambi voted so interest rates would not be capped at 30%
Obambi is funded by the nuclear giant EXELON. Hello nuclear power!

The Democrats are not standing for anything I believe in so why give them my vote?

  • Dawnelle

I’ll 2nd that and wish we could attend!

I’ll be looking to this blog to post events from people that do get to go and have cameras, videos, etc. Post the protests, etc.

I hope it’s not a hostile environment. One thing to note that will no doubt effect some that attend… pot is legal in Denver (city limits)

I read that somewhere – I think on the dnc open thread. There was a women advocate from Calif always posting articles.

anyway I’d say it might lure half the Obamatrons and even some of the Clintonistas into a more “chilled” out protest? One could hope. I don’t want to see nasty rude threatening people on the tv. We’ve come too far for that shit.

    I hope.

We support Hillary but she does not rule us. And she knows this.

We will not be bamboozled by Obama.

We will not be hoodwinked by the pro-Obama press.

We will not be marginalized by Brazile-Dean-Kerry-Kennedy who stole our votes.

Obama & Company looked down upon us as old, bitter, stuck in the 60s.

But they forget who we are — we broke all the rules, we shook up the status quo.

And we will do it again because we still outnumber you.

I respect Senator Clinton immensely. But I do not allow her or anyone else to tell me who to vote for. I will never vote for Obama.

Hillary Clinton, as always was the good, loyal, Democrat in spite of the way the Democratic Party treated her.

I am no longer a Democrat, loyal or otherwise. And I will not vote for Obama and will only vote for those candidates that I can support regardless of party. And the Democratic Party as such will never again receive one red cent from me.

  • s. hall

dawnelle — I am voting for a Republican for the first time in my life to send a message to the Democratic Party–YOU DON’T GET UNITY BY THROWING 18 MILLION HILLARY VOTERS UNDER A BUS. They think when the emotion dies down we will return — I WILL NEVER BE BACK. If they put this fraud in we may not get anymore elections or as BO calls it Electionocracy. He thinks we have too many elections and it confuses people. For those of you who hate Republicans I beg you to vote against Obama and vote for McCain so we can continue to have the nation we love in tact. Once this mob is done at the Democratic Party you can come back — but for now vote for Democracy Vote for McCain.

We will be there for you.

  • Disgusted

Look what I got today. Also let this be proof that I am not a Republican. I will however be voting for McCain this election.

    Dear Friend,

I wanted to drop you a quick note about a major policy change here at the Democratic Party.

As we move toward the general election, the Democratic Party has to be the Party of ordinary Americans, not Washington lobbyists and special interests. So, as of this morning, if you’re a federal lobbyist, or if you control political action committee donations, we won’t be accepting your contribution.

This is an unprecedented move for a political party to make — one that has sent shockwaves through Washington and has turned the debate on clean campaigns upside down. We’ve unilaterally agreed to shut lobbyists out of the process, and are we’re relying on people just like you.

Just imagine what hundreds of thousands of Americans donating $20, $30, or $50 at a time can accomplish together. Imagine the signal that it sends to anyone who looks at John McCain’s political machine and the special interest money it needs to fuel every move it makes.

We have a chance to change the way business is done in this country, and we’re taking the lead. Will you join us and make a contribution right now to help us elect Barack Obama?

    http://www.democrats.org/nonlobbyists

I’ve written before about guys like Charlie Black and Rick Davis, lobbyists who are at the highest levels of McCain’s campaign. But they’re just the start — John McCain and the RNC suck up lobbyist money millions of dollars at a time.

In May, McCain had his best fundraising month of the campaign, and it was directly because he refuses to shut special interests out.

But we did, and we need your help. This is an example of the kind of White House Barack Obama would run. Make a contribution to help elect him:

    http://www.democrats.org/nonlobbyists

I’ll be in touch later about our plans for the general election, but I wanted to let you know about our policy change right away.

    Thanks,

    Howard Dean

    ——————————————————————————–

    I hope this pastes.

  • Margarety

That’s right, we’ve all got to get out and vote McCain on election day. Also, the Repubs have an amazing machine for ferreting out voter fraud, they’ll be on it.

  • Catriley

Yes.. but what does McCain stand for that resonates with you? Because I find nothing in his ideaology that is even close to Hillary. Believe me, no one is getting my support, other than Hillary until after Denver. Seriously. I am just not helping McCain out at all now. He hasn’t earned my vote, nor has Obama.

But I refuse to lift a finger to help a republican into the white house. That’s all. So.. if millions of hillary supporters start volunteering and donating to mcCain before august, then all hell breaks loose from Obama’s ever emerging past — then what? Hillary’s supporters have put McCain in a winning position with our time and money, and Hillary or another candidate that might step in if Obama has to bow out is now too far behind to win in November?

    Something to ponder…

  • Mr.Murder

If only McCain would shut out the special interests, those gun toting white churchgoing bigots who cling their firearms.

    WTG, Howard.

Care to share with us Axelrod’s record as a Daley spokesman? He’s running Barack’s camapign. You’ve surrendered any notion of the moral authority or high ground there.

[From a crosspost at that other No Hillary No Peace site]:

Good grief, people. Obama was not my first choice nor was Hillary. But I had planned, and still plan, to vote for whomever will keep the Republicans and their disastrous, un-American policies as far away from a position of power as possible. For that reason I would have voted for either Hillary or Obama with no problem. Their policy proposals were very similar in most areas. If you’re driven by POLICY based issues, you’ll do the same. If you’re driven by PERSONALITY based issues, then continue your embarrassing little tantrums.

    Really.

    Step back.

    Take a deep breath.

Consider what you’re saying and doing.

To think that McSame is the next best candidate for POTUS is just plain nuts. At best it comes across as petty, juvenile whining. At worst it appears that Savage Politics and No Quarter are competing to become the left-wing nut-ball versions of the Freepers and Little Green Footballs.

Some of the posts here exhibit the quintessential quality of “cutting off ones nose to spite their face.” Others exhibit sheer insanity (e.g. “BO is the anti-Christ”).

Obama the anti-Christ? That’s nut-ball stuff, folks. Tin-foil hat material.

Seriously. Pull your collective heads out.

Was it Hillary’s POLICIES that drew you to support her? If so, then you must realize that Obama is the obvious choice to promote policies most similar to Hillary’s.

Vote for McSame because your candidate lost the primary? Then clearly there was some other, non-policy based, even irrational explanation for supporting Hillary in the first place because the policies of McSame are often 180º opposite of Hillary’s.

Want to continue the failed monetary and tax policies of Bush and continue to sap the middle class? Vote McSame
Want to continue to send American soldiers into harms way for bogus pretenses? Vote McSame.
Want to continue the failed medical system in this country that greatly benefits the insurance and pharmaceutical companies, but few others? Vote McSame.
Want to see our rights and liberties eroded and the 4th Amendment ignored? Vote McSame.

An important rule in political races is someone always looses. If you base your vote on personality, you will almost always be disappointed.

I voted for Bill Clinton twice and would have voted for Hillary had she won the nomination. Why? Because I agreed with their policies over the policies of their Republican opponents. (And why do I vote Democratic? Because I’ve read the Constitution and understand that to vote for the Democratic Party, the party of Jefferson, almost always is a vote for policies that support the principles of the Constitution. And to vote Republican is almost always a vote for policies that weaken the Constitution.)

If you are so shortsighted that you can’t see past your nose of this primary race and see the bigger picture of what’s important to this country, then go ahead. Cut it off.

[TO THIS I'LL ADD that I WILL be voting for Obama, but I hope and expect Hillary to play a major role in the party in the future. Either AG or SCOTUS, or another run for POTUS. I like her and most of her policies, but, as with Obama, I don't agree with all of her policies. I disagreed with her vote for an amendment to the Constitution to ban flag-burning as a form of political protest. Not because this is something I would enjoy doing (I have 3 Betsy Ross versions hanging around and on my house), but because it runs counter to the 1st Amendment, and was clearly political pandering. I also disagreed with her vote for the Authorization to Use Military Force in Iraq. (This isn't 20/20 hindsight. The day before the vote I drove down to Atlanta to personally deliver to the offices of Zell Miller and Max Cleland, a letter imploring my senators to vote against that authorization. They both voted for it, but I still think that Max Cleland, like Hillary, is a great American and a great Democrat despite their poor judgement on this vote. Zell? That's another matter entirely.)
From this perspective, the vitriol and irrationality being hurled by this segment of Hillary's supporters certainly doesn't flatter her, and makes her supporters in general look a bit loopy.]

More than anything else I first want to thank to Obamanations for all their comments the good , the bad and the ugly ones.

I become more resolved in my conviction to never vote for BO with every troll comment I read.

I sense alot of fear from you and I heard of all the fear you like to generate in others.

Sad we had to put up with Fear from GWB and Cheney now we get it from BO , his campaign and his Cult followers. WHo I might add certainly do remind me of Jim Jones and other such hateful cults of years ago.

Some of you come across as Domestic Terroist in Trainging.

No I won’t be voting for BO. Yes I will do everything I can to Take Back the Democratic Party.

And yes I do intend to vote in November.

Thank you Hillary for All You Have Done . Please take it to the Convention and even if they steal it again You will still come out of it AS THE TRUE WINNER TO US.

Get it in the history books , don’t back down now. Do what you have to until the Convention but follow this through until the end. Do it for your Country, do it for your Supporters, Do it for Yourself and especially do it for all the little girls out here.

Thank you Bill and Chelsey you did us Proud all of you will be in our hearts and souls forever.

    We Love You All !

    Elizabeth – IL.
