A Soldier For Hillary Writes a Rant [Updated]

A 527 and a Blog: Hillary United. UPDATE: Sgt. Patsy is stationed at Ft. Bragg. Her WordPress blog is ANVP.

We had the opportunity to have the candidate who had Solutions for America. Not just one race, not just one demographic, but for “America”, you gave us the chatelaine of fake hopes & dreams.

We had the opportunity to have the teacher, you gave us the remedial student . I have been harassed and threatened, told the job I do is worthless, and if I am a representation of the type of judgment military personnel have, no wonder we are losing the war. I have had my accounts hacked, told when I deploy, they hope I never come back. All from the supporters who candidate based there initial platform on unity and a new form of politics.

This is not about Senator Clinton. This has become so much more than that, it is more than that. It’s about not falling in and bending to the will of the majority. It’s about fighting for what is right, when everyone seems to be doing something wrong. So I wiped away the tears, sat aside the heart ache. And asked myself what can I do to become part of the solution? And the answer came. Get rid of the problem.

So I lurked, and listened, plotted and planned. And on the 5th of June 2008, as I opened up the last message telling me I was a disgrace, and to stop publicly voicing my support, and to stop making utube videos acknowledging it. I knew what I had to do. Money may buy you a primary, but the people are the ones who win elections.

I created “Hillary United” a 527 that will support campaigns and organizations that remember the one true aspect of our government, “For the People” and “By the People”. That understand what makes our country, our great nation, what it is today. You cant blame the problems on our government. Our government is the foundation of this country. It’s the people who cause the problems.

If we want change, we have to change how we do business. To stop electing officials that follow the money, instead of following the voice and the will of the people. And the first order of business, is to remove the ones who have forgotten how to represent the constituents who have elected them to these positions.

We don’t have to “fall in”. We have another option. One that was lost and forgotten, but what civil rights leaders and activists that poured there blood, sweat and tears to achieve. We fight. I am not an expert when it comes to politics, but I do understand reality. We are witnessing up close and personal what happens when elections and primaries are determined in the court of public opinion.

When votes cast in good faith can be overturned and decided by a group of thirty instead of thousands. When the media can become more important that the voice of the people. We have a problem. This is a historical election. But not because of what many may think. It’s historical because we have witnessed the fall of the Democratic Party as we used to know it. We don’t need a third party because its time to take our party back. And for that to happen the Democratic Party will have to be reborn. Not on how the Donna Braziles have foretold as a party led by the youth. It will be reborn in the way in which it was originally founded. Led by not just the youth, but by all of us, despite race, demographics, or affiliations. From the blue collar workers to the private in Iraq sitting on gate guard wondering when they will be coming home.

Senator Clinton opened the door. Despite what personal beliefs many have of this former First Lady, presidential candidate and acting Senator, she changed the course of this election. By getting up and out there to speak to the people, using personal funds to finance getting her message out there. While knowing the entire time they had no intentions of allowing another Clinton in the White House, is astounding. She held her ground to the end while the Democratic Party publicly campaigned against her.

The message that they sent could not of been any louder as we watched them turn there back on one of there own by using every source available. As we watched Senator Obama make blunder after blunder, lie after lie, the picture became clearer each day. And as there actions became more pronounced, the disdain more obvious, it hardened my will to stand behind her.

We don’t need a tape of Michelle Obama proving what we all know in our hearts that she is racist. Or proof that Senator Obama is unprepared to be the 44th president. We don’t need to donate to Senator Mccain’s campaign. Or get into arguments with paid bloggers. They have already shown there hand. It’s ours that they are now worried about. There is a better option than voting for Senator Obama. The option is, for him to step down and move aside.

Its our right, no, its our duty to not think about what it is we personally want, and start thinking about what this country needs. Yes, this will be historical. 2008 will go down in history as being the year that the people stood up and fought for what they believe in, despite what the Democratic Party thought we should have. The battle may be over, but the war, the war has just begun.

Great piece of rabble rousing propaganda there Soldier.

You are working for the GOP and are a disgrace to Clinton’s name and the Democratic philosophy.

The honorable thing for you to do would to abstain.

You are either “brainwashed” or taking the GOP’s paychecks..

You are a FOOL. Hillary supporters aren’t cultists, unlike those on the other side.

Most of your ‘facts’ are wrong, but I’m not going to do your research for you.

Hee Hee! These frightened Obamabots keep skulking around to make sure they put up the first posts. Good lord they are scared to death — and they should be.

I feel exhiliarated by the power we now yield. Obama cannot win without us — which means he CANNOT win.

Amen! Let’s get into solutions and take back our party.

I so agree with you that she took a hard path, but she insisted that the nation see this through and see the truth of what was happening.

There is no doubt in my mind that is exactly why she kept going. She cares too much for this country to not do so.

Thanks for a great piece! I’m checking out your 527.

Yawn. We’re interested in a long term plan. We won’t be distracted by shrill hysterics about a McCain presidency.

You are correct. We have a huge problem with crooked caucuses as well. Caucuses should be banned. Great commentary.

Thank you for your insight – always appreciate the views of some one who has done something relevant.

I think the tragedy of this whole Iraq thing is the Military has been used and abused. Good to hear from some one who has done something versus those who are sniping from the side lines with locker room comment. They are the same type who elected George Bush and they seem to be bent on doing the same with Obams

    Your leader speaks:

“We may have started on separate journeys, but today our paths have merged,” Clinton said. She discouraged rehashing the long and divisive Democratic primary campaign, instead asking her supporters — some of whom, still resentful, booed when she mentioned her former rival during the speech — to “take our energy, our passion, our strength and to do all we can to help elect Barack Obama the next president of the United States.”

“When you hear people saying, or think to yourself, ‘if only’ or ‘what if,’ I say — please don’t go there,” Clinton said. “Every moment wasted looking back keeps us from moving forward.”

She continued: “Life is too short, time is too precious, and the stakes are too high to dwell on what might have been. We have to work together for what still can be. And that is why I will work my heart out to make sure that Sen. Obama is our next president, and I hope and pray that all of you will join me in that effort.”

If Sen. Clinton posted here, she’d undoubtedly be called a troll. Ironic, that.

  • NickD

Soldier, thank you for a great piece. I recall your posts on TM and always listened and appreciated what you had to say. I left TM awhile back because Taylor did not like me using the “H” (HUSSIEN) in BHO; she had no problem with the “R” in HRC though. Go figure….

It amazes me how many people do not get what is going on — well, what do you expect from someone who would support an unAmerican, unpatriotic, domestic terrorist sympathizer with a wife who is not “…proud of her country” and thinks we are all “ignorant” (her words not mine)? While I believe Hillary is the best choice for president, to me John McCain is the 2nd BEST choice. It is not about health care or the war or any single issue, it’s about electing the right person to run the country. Any friend of William Ayers or Wright do not qualify for that position.

Not only am I supporting McCain, I am supporting all the republican opposition to any down ticket democrat that endorsed Obama in the state of Arizona. I can not afford the financial contributions but I have the skills and the time to offer what they need to win an election.

BTW, I can not get to the website, keeps like up and I need to reboot.

  • http://Reddragon62.blogspot.com/ RedDragon62

It is a sad reflection of our Culture when person that has worn or still does, wear the uniform is called a GOP operative. i think it would be safe to say that, if these same people were “FORCED”, (draft ) to fight for the rights they seem so intent on taking away from us, you would hear a different tune. Anyone remember Vietnam? Once the spoiled, pampered brats had to put up or shut up, the war was terminated! Guess when it is someone else’s ass on the line, the bull**** flows!

  • LN

I also support what the soldier is saying here and I say we can’t afford to have an unvetted junior senator with no experience who has spent the last 20 years associating with hate mongering, vile spiritual advisers, is a product of the corrupt Chicago political machine and who helped to steal this election.

Please don’t threaten me with 4 more years of Republican control…4 years with a man who says he will sit down “without precondition” with the leaders of some of the most brutal regimes in the world gives me MUCH more pause than John McCain, who is at least honorable and has served his country with courage.

Yes, the stakes are high, no doubt.

  • NickD

get off your computer and take a look closer.

you think appalachia and rural america will put someone in office who does not respect the flag or is friends with people like Ayers and Wright?

  • jocelyn

talk about ignorance. clearly people like you need a lesson in democracy. i intent to give it to you.

  • NickD

interesting I watched Hillary’s speech this morning and saw the strain on her face talking about endorsing Obama. As soon as she walked off stage I made a contribution to McCain’s campaign

  • and_breath !

McCain does not support universal health care as this might dry up the supplies for the Iraqi meatgrinder.

He does not support the G.I. education bill as this would lead to soldiers leaving “early”.

He gives no indication of leaving Iraq and would almost certainly attack Iran.

New recruits would be sent into radioactive Tehran to pick through the pieces and secure the oil.

  • rjj

Oh let’s huff and puff and get all righteous and lofty and censorious.

Don’t dishonor her 40 years of hard work by calling yourself Hillary supporters.

However, it is more than probable IMO.

Soldier- I salute you! As you can see from my screen name, I have a child in the military. He and his wife are both active duty and he has done two tours to Iraq.
I have read your blog, it is very very good. Stick with your principles and you can never go wrong. The DNC has no principles, for them it is all about power and money.
As I stated elsewhere, I am an American first- party unity be damned. My conscience will not allow me to condone waht has been doent his election cycle. And that is exactly what switching from Hillary to Obama would be- condoning the behavior of a bunch of thugs.
No Ma’Am, sorry, not me. If I have to suffer another four years of Republican rule to keep my country safe form God knows what Obama has planned, then I will willingly do do. How can I do any less, when you and millions like you put it on the line for ALL Americans every day.
God Bless You and keep you safe. I thank you for your valiant service.

  • Tricia

Obama is a racist I will never vote for him

  • jocelyn

i will not fall in line. i will do everything i can to bring the dnc to its knees. one person, one vote. any party that thinks its rules are more important than that must go. it is time for a new party. so stop trying to reduce people’s probles with the dnc and obama to being republicans in disguise. it is insulting. obama attacked universal health care. and he did not stand up for voting rights when it would have likely cost him nothing to do so. thinking that does not make me a republican or a karl rove fan. so quit with the straw man crap already.

    Comment by JMC | 2008-06-07 18:45:54

At least call an elephant an elephant. i call n idiot and idiot and you are an idiot!

Don’t delude yourselves into thinking you ever supported Hillary or her causes if you’re on the McCain bandwagon. You forget Hillary spent 40 years fighting for equal rights and one vote is one vote, not 1/2 but whole!

Universal Health Care – a cornerstone of Hillary’s political career. McCain opposes it, and Obama supports it. Do you want Hillary’s health care bill signed into law, or vetoed? Obama does not offer Universal Health Care, that is a lie, but you are an Obamabot so expect anything less!

Pro-Choice – Hillary has spent 40 years fighting for women’s rights, including the right to choose. Do you want Supreme Court justices that will overturn Roe vs Wade, or uphold it? Obama believes in Physics Law, the most abstract of laws ever, formulated on rediculous ideas, which is worse than losing Roe vs Wade, it destroys civil liberties!

Economic Reform – Hillary supports a middle-class tax cut. McCain wants permanent Bush tax cuts for the wealthy. Hillary wants to close tax loopholes for the oil companies, and McCain wants to leave them wide open. Obama voted for Bush/Cheney Oil bill enough said on Obama’s tax cuts!

Education Reform – Hillary and Obama both want higher wages for teachers, elimination of No Child Left Behind, and making tuition easier to afford for students (including veterans through the new GI Bill). McCain opposes all those positions. Obama supports Bill Ayers Marxist school reforms, so too bad again Obamatwat

If you support McCain, more power to you. But Hillary would be insulted to be associated with a group of turn-coats like you. Don’t dishonor her 40 years of hard work by calling yourself Hillary supporters. Hillary believes in country before party, and the only turncoats are those who haven’t a leg to stand on in support of an unqualified candidate who was selected and not elected!

Not a paid for post like Obama’s support posts are!

  • and_breath !

It’s Navy but the code cited applies to all.

What political activities are members of the Armed Forces permitted to do?

A member on active duty may:

    *

Register, vote, and express a personal opinion on political candidates and issues, but not as a representative of the Armed Forces.
    *

Promote and encourage other military members to exercise their voting franchise, if such promotion does not constitute an attempt to influence or interfere with the outcome of an election.
    *

Join a political club and attend its meetings when not in uniform. See Directive 1334.1.
    *

Serve as an election official, if such service is not as a representative of a partisan political party, does not interfere with military duties, is performed when not in uniform, and has the prior approval of the Secretary concerned or the Secretary’s designee.
    *

Sign a petition for specific legislative action or a petition to place a candidate’s name on an official election ballot, if the signing does not obligate the member to engage in partisan political activity and is done as a private citizen and not as a representative of the Armed Forces.
    *

Write a letter to the editor of a newspaper expressing the member’s personal views on public issues or political candidates, if such action is not part of an organized letter-writing campaign or a solicitation of votes for or against a political party or partisan political cause or candidate.

  • K Bentley

I wish I could reach each and every Senator Obama’s suppoters to show them something. I’ve worked in Chicago for more than 30 years and personally viewed Senator Obama’s accomplishments. You’ll never hear from the neighborhood’s people because most have gone. Living conditions are intolarable and only the very poor hang on. During Obama’s neighborhood coalition, many went without heat or water. They endured, then eventually left. I know this for a fact because a dear co-worker and her children stayed with me for 5 weeks until she could find a place to live.

Obama and Rezko raped these neighborhoods by initiating phony construction contracts. These things I won’t go into.

These people had their “change,” but lost all “hope.” The bad things of Senator Obama I will not try to point out, because you’d come back with a reason of excuse or attack the Clintons with a “but they did this, or she said that.”

Believe this if nothing else, Senator Obama is just another politician. He bought a mansion when many went homeless.

The leaders stuffed a useless unqualified piece of slime down the throats of people changed the rules, magically decided what people who actually voted were saying with their votes, doing a total dis-service to Sentor Edwards by saying he would have not captured one single delegate in Michigan and telling Florida and Michigan you are not worth a vote but a half vote!

Have anyone of you have thought in how we can send a strong message to the media, the marketers, the local and cable channels by not watching ‘their news program’, ‘their shows’, anyway they do not bring us news with a fair perspective, they are already in favor of Oblame. Imagine what happens if we many of those 18 million stop watching their tv news, shows, not buying their bias newspapers. Not buying the products announced in their programs.

Since we are the invicible people for them, we can do that for one day or two days, to disappear, not going to work, not shopping mall, no restaurants, no magazines, no movie theaters, no theater, no bar, no bowling, no bingo, no billiards, as I suggest to Susan, ‘the day or two days’ the hillarians dissapeared. No place where to find them.
Not even in the cyber world.

Anyway we have the Internet and can have the stupid news from the cyber world if we feel the need for it, same we can watch movies and shows in the Internet. Remember that at the time we press “on” in our dvrs, Arbitron is taking ‘ratings’, same with listening to those talk radio shows, anyway we know by memory ‘their routines’,. We can be sure if something juicy happens like the ’so called damaging tape appears’ we will know. Think we can hurt them there, and let them know we exist and we are not their puppets that succumb to media manipulation. We don’t need to continue watching news about Obama, and the detractor commentators on tv being paid millions for smearing and bashing Hillary and her supporters, the ‘invicible and unwelcome scolded ones’

We have power people, but we have to get united, to see Hillary to have to throw her supporters under the bus in order to follow orders from the DNC, was sad very sad for me. She did not have to accept that. She could easily defy them and if that could end with her being part of the DNC, I would be happy to see that, than to watch her being sad and defeated by being forced to play nice with Oblame, by asking us to endorse and support Obama, when she has based her campaign to liberate us from the unelectable diz senator. He was unelectable 17 months ago Hillary you can ask us now to see him as the electable one in order to recover the White House. You are supporting a man that you well know is ‘gamer’ ‘a weasel’ not a righteous politician.

Hillary you do not belong to a party, you belong to you to your principles, projects, they are you, you do not sell for less.

No Hillary, no, if that is a strategy, people will take decisions that later will be too late for them to come back to you, this is not you, Hillary ’same old politician, securing your seat in the senate’.

No you were supposed to be defiant till the end, we are fighters like you. That speech did not suit you. It was a departure from you, you have thrown yourself under the bus too for the good of a party that disrispect you?

I wish you reflect Hillary in what you have said and have asked us to do. We are abandoned now!

We are ready to keep taking the heat by your side Hillary!

    So she’s gutless? She’s afraid?

the military has done their job and they really should be honored for their sacrifices. but they supported the war and the republicans in greater numbers than the general public for the first couple years. they should be more apolitical.

McCain also does not support universal health care as this might dry up the supplies for the Iraqi meatgrinder.

He does not support the G.I. education bill as this would lead to soldiers leaving “early”.

He gives no indication of leaving Iraq and would almost certainly attack Iran.

New recruits would be sent into radioactive Tehran to pick through the pieces and secure the oil.

Humanity is not your strong suit, is is?

Maybe she is too weak to be President if that opinion of yours is correct. I mean, how will she stand up to the terrorists if a “political gun to her head” makes her say things on TV that she doesn’t believe? If the DNC can make her do things she doesn’t want to do, wouldn’t they be running the country if she was President?

Unlike you, however, I believe the Senator’s not that weak. She knows exactly what she’s doing and why. She knows McCain will be more of Bush and the country can’t stand that.

She’s acting like a grownup, not a terrified hostage.

  • rjj

Exactly. She will be so disappointed. More in sorrow than in anger, tho, I warrant.

You’re dam* right that others need to hear about this fraud…the one that was perpetrated on the American people by the DNC, the nobama campaign, the media and the political pundits.

Not to mention the fraud that nobama is himself…just take a close look at nobama’s 3 wise men on videotape as they “preach” from a so-called Christian pulpit…and nobama is someone who says he has better judgement than Hillary or John McCain?

  • Betty Coar

I too sent a donation to McCain when she finished. I’m mad and as the dixie chicks said “I’m not ready to make nice and I will never be until Obama is no longer the democratic God. I will not change this I have sworn not to vote for Obama, and so has my sister.

  • and_breath !

How about the allegation is universal health care is the bribe that the military gives you for risking your life for oil (and israel)?

  • Peggy Sue

You see how the Obamatrons answer a stirring message, one that calls for a fight, a refusal to “fall in line.” If the Obama supporters are so sure of their candidate, so convinced of his invincibility, why do the decibels spike up whenever someone simply says:

No! I will not make nice. I will not back down.

It’s because despite all the propaganda and arrogance, all the crass, dispicable threats and diatribes, the obscene attacks on women and anyone with the audacity to disagree [and yes, now we have an example of an attack on a dissenting veteran], they know what we know: our power is in our vote and our collective voice.

This is a Democratic society, not a country of stage tricks and image making, not an arena of vacuous words and mantra-like messaging. You may be surprised, Omabatrons. There are still people who believe in and love this country, everything it is and can be. It ain’t perfect but it’s a hell of a lot better than anything else.

My father didn’t almost get himself killed in Okinawa to fold his tent and give in. My husband didn’t serve during the Vietnam era to say: oh well, I guess we ought to throw up hands and sing, Kumbya, and the world will be a better place. I can’t even tell you how disgusted I am that anyone, regardless of what you think of this war, would disrespect one of our veterans. People who do that belong in a special circle of hell.

Get use to the vocal dissent!

Our answer is “No” today as it will be tomorrow. No amount of shouting or cursing or attempts to drown us out will work.

We are the 18 million and there are a lot more where we came from. Women, seniors, Latinos, Jews, Catholics, blue collar workers, union men and women, a full cross-cut of the American population that you think you can so easily discard and turn off at will.

    Think again.

“It is true you can fool some of the people some of the time and some of the people all of the time, but you cannot fool all of the people all of the time.”

Check it out. Those words are Abe Lincoln’s, and they ring just as true today as they did then.

  • morris1030

If this blogger is not an actual GOP’er this is misguided logic.

    First, let’s get a grip.

Let’s think his out and observe carefully as much is at stake. I am not an Obama fan. Hillary was and is my choice, but it is now a reality that the choice remains Obama or McCain, and I must weigh in on what is most essential to me and my vision and hope for the future.

So I’m thinking. But Healthcare,Education,Supreme Court, and making our government operate efficently for and by the people are major concerns that I don’t feel McCain can address. He is quite open about privately paid health insurance, taxes, along with other major issues which I am against.

I’m waiting, listening, and will decide from the most reasoned point of view as to how I’ll vote.

As a woman I am furious with Obamatons and Obama for stoking hatred and vitriol towards HRC and therefore all women. The barrage of poisonous sexist slander was encouraged by the MSM and the left blogosphere, and we watched hate bombs exploding every 24/7 cycle.

Obamatons spewed outrageous hate, and today on HuffPo even after Hillary’s superb speech she is still being attacked as insincere, blah, blah.

Obama will have to do more than wear a flag pin and Star of David pin to convince us he understands what has happened and how he intends to repair this shameful stain. Sexism is racism and Obama will have to let us all know he understands this and how he intends to repair this. There definitely will be pressure on Obama from women, but from elsewhere as well.

    So I’m waiting.

  • http://deleted AnninCa

Anyone who goes to pro-Hillary sites to taunt others hardly needs to be giving lessons on honorable behavior.

Go back to HuffPo. Take a hike. Report back to the minions that we still aren’t voting for Obama. Trash us all day and all night. But there will be many, many people who will not vote for him. If you had a clue, you’d have seen how passionate her supporters were today, and that was for a speech that none of us wanted to hear.

I think elitism is a soul sickness, based on a horrible need to feel better than others due to raging insecurities.

  • jocelyn

that’s all anyone is doing? can you read?

  • sjl106

the obamabots trying guilt trips…LOL the child’s mind. Hillary will continue to fight for her causes and may be able to get things passed with McCain who is in it for our country. Not supporting obama is standing behind Hillary and our country, what happened this primary can never be allowed to happen again and that will only happen after we take a stand against the corruption we saw throughout, November 4, 2008 is judgement day.

    Great Article.

  • Andy

    Too late; too bad.

You should have thought of that before supporting Obama.

Two suggestions: Pray the Dems have a majority in Congress and
Ask them to do their jobs. McCain may nominate but it is in the Senate’s
power who do they choose to confirm.
    .

I admire Souter (a Bush I appointee); respected O’Connor (a Reagan appointee) and back then when the Dem. Senate had a spine they rejected Bork.

So, stop the stupid threats. You and the DNC will be the guilty ones.

    Suck it up now pal.

  • and_breath !

Waiting will NEVER erase his 20 plus years of spiritual mentoring with the 3 wise men…who spewed racist, hate filled garbage from the pulpit of a so-called Christian church. It won’t make his association with Tony Rezko, who is now behind bars, go away. It won’t make his compliance in the stealing of this election go away.

It won’t make his relationship with his life-long marriage partner, who has said enough to make me sick, even if no tape ever turns up…

it won’t change how he flipped off Hillary behind her back in the debate…

and most importantly of all, it won’t change his statement that he will sit down “without precondition” with the leaders of some of the most brutal governments in the world.

    The waiting is over.

  • Uppity

I don’t think his health care plan is useful. Might as well not bother with it, frankly (although I’ll take the write-off.).

As for his war stance, he knows we all want out. I just think he thinks the surge is working. We’ll know more by November. In reality, I didn’t think Hillary or Obama or McCain can pull us out fast. One of two brigades at a time is all Iraq can handle, or it will blow up.

Iran? Iran is dangerous. We’ll see what they do next. But they are definitely dangerous. Obama’s an idiot on that issue.
Apparently, even Biden “rephrased” his position for him because Obama is just a goofball on foreign policy.

I do not think Israel has anything to do with this. They are a sovereign nation, not our puppets, or we would have straightened out the Palastenian issue long ago. We’d all like to see a solution.

Again, Obama is a goof on that. Hear his latest flip-flop?

As for oil? I do think we need to rein in the speculators. McCain’s vote is better than Obama on energy, and he knows the issues there. This is being driven by finance guys. They need to be reined in fast.

  • BluDawg

Hillary is one vote, and you’ll never really know who she pulls the lever for, right?

18 Million votes on the other hand will be very obvious..will they not?

Get back to me on how that works out for you!

  • and_breath !

I sincerely hope that Obama will make policy promises that include a robust health care plan and other compromises with the HC side of the party.

  • Sammie

    Patsy,

Thank you for having the strength to speak out and for sticking to your convictions. If more people took notice and spoke out, our government would certainly be more respresentative of the will of the people (like small children, many politicians seem to misbehave when no one is watching).

I’m sorry people have seen fit to insult you, although it does beg the question, if what you were doing wasn’t a threat, why would anyone need to try to silence and intimidate you? Don’t these people believe in free speech? Does the call for unity require us to give up our most basic freedoms?

  • Uppity

Hey By, why don’t you haul your lazy ass over to the war zone and see how well it works out for your cowardly ass.

    Soldier4Hillary;

Thank you for your service and your well written insights. I am in your debt.

I hear you … and the private pulling duty, wondering when he can be home again. So many voice so little respect.

I was at my daughter’s high school graduation yesterday. A teacher of 40 years was retiring and gave an address to the class of 2008. (the last one of mine to graduate)

He pointed out that from day one, to the last day of 12th grade, we’ve taught students to follow the rules, ask when to use the rest room, not to question but to “move along”. He asked how can we expect young people to go out into the world and make intelligent choices and take responsibility for them, when this was not expected of them in the first place.

From the packed football field bleachers several people yelled, “Stop with the Politics”…he responded to them by saying, “You want me to stop?” He spoke the truth based on his 40 years of experience. I might agree or disagree with him but he had the right to be heard.

  • Uppity

Well here I go with my copy and paste again because you Obama people haven’t got a creative bone in your bodies and keep posting the same crap.
Obama’s health care plan is useless. I shows either a clear lack of understanding of the relationship between states and the Health Insurance Industry which owns the leglislators……or it’s a hoax. You pick.

And telling someone proudly that you will reduce the yearly cost of health insurance by $2500 shows a REAL lack of understanding of exactly how much a single pay health insurance policy costs. In my state, you would pay 2k Per Month for an family HMO policy that will surely let you die if you sign on and get sick. And that’s a fact. I can assure you that a family that can’t afford $24,000 a year can’t afford $21,500 a year. A single pay for a single person for that same policy is roughly $900 per month. Giving “incentives” to states is tanatamount to giving the health insurers another freebee, while they still raise the rates double digits to make up for the people barack Obama says don’t have to get insurance.

This is not universal health care. In fact, John Mccain will give me a $5k write off. Hell, I’m better of with his plan.

Go to Tim Novak’s investigative reporting done in 2005,6,7 with his team at Chicago Sun Times. You’ll have to know how to access archival material re: these facts, but they are all there as well as the records in Illinois State Assembly when Obama was there.

These records are missing from Obama’s bio.
Urban rehab dollars from City, State, Federal govts to create rehab $$$$ on blighted slums were all trashed by Rezko and 33 buildings [11 of Obama's]went into foreclosure. Rezko did not supply repairs, give heat, etc. He just kept the loot, and this was Obama’s patron. Thousands of people were affected adversely.

I am asking all supporters of the principles that Hillary Clinton stood for in this campaign which moved us to support her to be still and listen for a minute.

We all know how we feel. We all know what we think We all know what we want to do. The only thing we haven’t gotten clear, as a whole, as how best we will do it.

The trolls are here for only one reason: TO DISRUPT COMMUNICATION. PERIOD. NOTHING MORE. It is up to each of us, as individuals, to decide if we will play their stupid, counter-productive game. This decision, by each who posts at this empowering site will either build upon the efforts of Larry et al – or suck the life out of what they are trying to help us to do.

It’s understood that we are angry. There is a choice: channel that energy constructively – as Soldier 4 Hill is valiantly modeling – or, instead, get SUCKED DOWN THE TROLL HOLE – by reacting to their presence, which is just what they want.

Soldier4Hill has a brilliant constructive strategy – will we honor that by discussing it? Or will we flush our energy down the toilet of troll hole by continuing to react – which wastes and distracts our energy?

The more here who skip over the troll comments, WITHOUT RESPONSE, the more we will reclaim our power and energy. You and I can spot a troll comment in a flash, and just keep scrolling by – holding focus on what really matters.

No one here can be so foolish as to think anything you can say will change the mind of even one troll – BECAUSE THEY HAVE NO MIND. They collective represent a large black hole. I’m not getting sucked in anymore – and hope more here- in respect for this site and in order to be PRO-ACTIVE will join me in this SKIP-OVER-TROLLS and stick with intelligent, productive, informative discussion.

Oh no you don’t. John McCain is one of the most honorable men to serve in the Vietnam War. Don’t you even go there, you ass. My husband is a Vietnam Combat Veteran, 1968-1969, 3rd Marine Division, 11th Engineer Batallion, and he was a tunnel rat, my son is in the United States Marine Corps Reserves, and I come from a long line of people who have served this country honorably, from WW2 and Korea, and I will be damned if you are going to sit on your ignorant ass and insult the men and the women, who by the way have gotten the short end of the stick in being recognized for their service and sacrifice in Vietnam. Where do you get off denigrating the service of a man that was a Prisoner of War for 5 years? Where is your damn respect or didn’t your mama teach you any? You should be ashamed of yourself, just like every single person on this blog is ashamed of you. How dare you insult this man’s service to his country?

Guess they’ve moved on from the racist response. We all just need to remember that the more they troll, the more scared team Obama is. Since they’ve continued after Hillary’s so called “concession” speech, it’s obvious that they didn’t buy it either. Did you notice, however, how passionate she got when speaking about how women have been mistreated?

“Today, as I suspend my campaign” HRC

This is why the Obamaton Trolls are in such a tizzy today. They had been hoping and pressing and praying that she would concede today. She did NOT she just once again said she was suspending her campaign. As I said before, I am sure the Clinton campaign knows all the real dirt on Obamesiah, but she can not pull the trigger. To do so would damage the causes she believes in and has fought for for over 35 years. She has too much integrity and class to crawl through the gutter unlike Obama and his trolls.

Obamatons think on this: How are your actions now. Intentionally spreading lies, disinformation, hate, and covering up the truth about Barack Obama, any different from the actions of those duped into following Hitler in Germany.

It was partly an autobiographical book (although filled with glorified inaccuracies, self-serving half-truths and outright revisionism) Hitler or Obama?

Using demagogic oratory, He spoke to scores of mass audiences. Hitler or Obama?

Devised an electoral strategy to win northern farmers and white collar voters in small towns. Hitler or Obama?

Really makes you wonder doesn’t it?

Those you see following the Obamessiah are not Democrats, though the species may try to look similar. They are in fact nothing but JACKASSES!

There is NOTHING that bozo could do, say, buy, bribe, threaten, give or take away that could convince me to vote for him for any public office on any level of American government.

If there are people who want is convincing, let them go look for it elsewhere – like the phony pseudo-public service ads he’s now grabbed from Lifetime TV.

I’d like to know more about Soldiers 527 ideas and to participate in them. She makes a good point – take back our party – I think that broader issue is a matter of when and how to do so. I’d love to hear more discussion about that.

We know that obama’s camp has no idea of democracy, so expect us to do what they would do- blindly follow false promises, seek out targets to rage and abuse, or align with a candidate over our own principles.

I know millions who will do none of the above. How do I know this? Because I worked on the phones for Hillary for months and those I spoke with who had enthusiasm for her, also shared our total unalterable distrust for obama. They may not be as vocal as we are, but they are as firm.

Others made last minute decisions to support her – and these voters are now reeling, as we are, in total disgust to have their votes also contradicted by wrongfully empowered corrupted Super Delegates.

Still others already have buyers remorse, having voted for obama early on, while the MSM repressed all true info about him. Together, our numbers are legion. We are still determining our individual ways of responding. What we irrevocably share in common is

NOBAMA NO WAY NOT NOW NOT EVER and that will not change.

I would really like to know what people who support Obama is going to do to secure the general election?

He has failed to engage with the voters in PA, OH, MI, FL, WV, KY. Those stupid old people live in CA, NY, FL. I fail to see how he will win NC, SC, TN, or AK. The electoral college doesn’t favor Obama like the primary delegate allocation. AA voters in the general do not get more electoral college delegates as they do primary delegates.

He stopped debating Hillary Clinton when he performed poorly. He should have stayed in to get the practice. McCain is a much better debater on the issues.

He wouldn’t get out with poor and middle class white voters after his insulting comments . He should have gone into WV and KY..But he ran. He can’t run away in the general election. Who is he going to blame? He has simply failed every leadership opportunity set before him.
It won’t be the few people here that will make the difference in this election. It will be Obama’s lack of preparation, lack of leadership ability, and poor understanding of the issues confronting us will cost him the general election.

The RNC doesn’t have to semar him. They simply need to tell the truth

    And Breath,

Why would he accomplish more? He hasn’t done anything in his entire political career but enrich himself and the money men.

Yes, everyone here doubts it. Those Rezko slums show how committed Obama is to poor folks and taxpayer. He uses them as the bait and then switches the govt funding over to profiteers.

As far as your other points, Obama has already stated we would be in Iraq at the end of his term. Powers “Hillary is a monster” even confirmed that Obama’s campaign promises on Iraq carry no weight, since he can’t predict what the scene on the ground is. It’s just a campaign promise/lie to fool people like you.

And the fact that Zbig is advising him, is another big clue that Obama doesn’t have the warm fuzzy foreign policy plans you seem to think.

Just to give you a tip, Zbig is the one who armed and trained the religious fanatics in Afghanistan to take down a superpower. Without any concern that they would turn that knowledge on the US. Zbig responded to this by asking. What was more important, a bunch of riled up fanatics or taking down the Soviets?

In case you haven’t noticed Russia has been gaining strength again, and with Zbig drooling over the chance to move more chess pieces against them. Putin would probably rather have Bush, Hillary, or McCain to deal with, since Russia considers Zbig their bin Laden.

Strange that Zbig has brought both countries to their knees with this action, so I’m not interested in finding out what he and Obama have cooked up for the world this time.

In case you didn’t know Zbig’s daughter is Mica on Obama lovefest MSNBC.

So, you can keep your head in the sand about the small subjects that Obama can’t and has stated he won’t change…..while I look at the big picture.

  • baby_puppy

This is so lovely to see; “Democrats” tearing down a war hero. Truly, never thought I’d see the day. Of course I never thought I’d see “Democrats” play voter suppression and steal elections / nominations by actually disenfranchising thousands of voters represented by 4 dlegates in MI. Shows no respect whatsoever for Democratic principles we sell to the world. Then again, never thought I would see a AA use race and hate to nfluence a Presidential election. Unfathomable. These things officially makes the Democratic party corrupt.

Really, playing Vietnam traitor tag with McCain wouldn’t be so stupid if Obama had an issue to stand on. All that does is bring up the unrepentant bombers that have supported Obama since the beginning of his career.

Obama’s Vietnam traitors threaten to hurt American kids on American soil. That is what Ayers and his wife did at the same time McCain was being tortured. Issued a threat to all of America’s children as punishment for their parents not coming around to their way of thinking.

So you see everyone Obama surrounds himself with has a screw missing….lol. Especially, the ‘down with capitalism…buy my book’ Ayers and company.

Patsy – you are one brave gal. You are right it should be the voters who decide an election not super delegates who are not very super as we have found out.

I didn’t realize when I have heard people say in the past ‘why bother voting – it doesn’t count’ that it is a fact.

I do think we need a third party though. Most civilized countries have three or more. We need that choice. Now we have no choice.

Neither of the two nominated leaders are what the majority of Americans are happy with. Many voters who gave their vote gladly, and with excitement, for Barack Obama have changed their minds since his background and associates have come to the fore – too late to get their votes back.

I don’t know who I will vote for this time around. Probably I will vote down the line and not the top of whichever ticket I ultimately choose.

What has changed my mind on the democratic side are the supporters of that candidate – who are they? And why so vicious? If they are a representative of their candidate what does that say to the rest of us? Not much, I’m sorry to say.

Keep on trucking Patsy – you are a great soldier and keep safe.

  • Bill D.

Where was all this outrage about the Michigan vote when they were originally told their votes wouldn’t count?

The broke the rules. That’s it. The Clinton camp supported it. That is until they were losing, then they changed their tune.

And if you want to count every vote, including the caucuses, then Clinton doesn’t win the popular vote.

Funny how Clinton didn’t want to count THOSE votes.

  • Bill D.

    Change the rules?

The Clinton camp agreed the MI and FLA delegations shouldn’t be seated, then fought for them to be seated. Who changed the rules?

When I watched her speech this morning, I felt something genuine in her voice. When she talked about dedicating her life to making America a better place, you could tell that was her deepest conviction.

She seemed a little hesitant endorsing Obama, but she also seemed very confident when she said we cannot afford to allow the Republicans to hold The White House for another 4 years or more.

i would also like to point out that it is funny that obama folks think they can sway us with universal health care. where was their outrage when obama trashed hillary for this and used republican talking points to try and gain an advantage in OH? or when Kerry said it was dead on arrival.

Boycott Oprah. Boycott MSNBC. Boycott the Dem Party.

    Response to the DNC:

UNITY? LOL. I am dropping the dem party on Monday–how’s that.
–I actually feel pretty relaxed…it’s the Obama folks who have to worry about their pride if they lose the WH–maybe they will figure out that he mainly won the red republican states by caucus, that superdelegates went against their own states that Hilalry won to endorse Obama, that Obama coasted on a propaganda machine of lies built by the media, that MI and FL was one big cheat, that Hillary won the popular vote, that Hillary got the majority of the women vote, white working class vote, the rural white vote, the hispanics, the seniors, the catholics, the jews…that absolutley NO ONE can win the White House without, and maybe they will figure out that Hillary won all the big blue states and purple swing states needed to win…I still find it sort of insane that she won New York, California, and Ohio, PA, Florida, etc…and Obama won places like hard-core republican Alaska…and people thought it mattered for Obama only–lol, craziness. Maybe they will figure out that the electoral maps all showed Hillary beating McCain easily and Obama either tied or losing to McCain, and maybe they will all figure out that all those exit polls of more people in Hillary’s group saying that they would never vote for Obama than Obama’s people who would support her. Or maybe they will figure out that Hillary was sometimes outspent 4 to 1, like in PA, but she kept winning and winning and winning, and especially huge in many of the latest contests. OH, and how many of Obama’s votes are now buyer’s remorse votes since Obama’s church CRAP, Rezko conviction, terrorist ties, and Michelle and Barack’s controversial comments came out?

Obama did indeed limp across the finish line…he never even made the nom number, he only got there because of superdelegate promises…it’s a very weak win for Obama. Hillary was the stronger candidate to go up against McCain, and she would have killed him in debates, etc.

Now, Obama, a man who served ONE year in the U.S. Senate before running for president will go up against a 5-year POW American War hero, a man who held two terms in the House of Representatives and has 20 YEARS as a U.S. Senator.

    LOL!

Maybe they will figure all this out one day–but really it doesn’t matter what they think.

    **Never Obama.

I get sick of Obama justifiers claiming that the Clintons were friends with Wright too.(Like that would make what he believes OK anyway.)They barely even met the man. If you look at that pic the room is FULL of people. It was a photo op, nothing more.

Besides, she is in an all around win/win situation. She has already made history and the advance on her future book will be in double digit millions. She earned a strong following of 18 million strong. She won over a heck of a lot more people than she had when she started out.

If Obama blows … as I have full confidence he will, she will look even better.

We are done with the chess game now and have moved into the chinese checkers portion of the race. eeeeheeeeheeeeeehehehehehe

Meanwhile, Ms. Ratchet is still refusing to give Barry his Cigarrreeeeetttts!

We love HER. Not the DNC or Obama. They stole the nomination from her and it won’t be forgotten. They no longer have any credibility and I think we really need to look at getting Donna Brazile and Howard Dean and friends out of there. If we cannot save the party then we must leave it and start a truly democratic one.

The first step is to ensure that Obama is not elected. If that requires voting McCaine then so be it. If we elect Obama he will be the head of the party that illegally elected him. He has no incentive to change anything. If we don’t drammatically show the DNC that this was wrong, if we don’t pull them up short, then we have set a precedent that will continue.

I’m a female Viet Nam Era veteran. Use your absentee ballot, and vote wisely. Make sure that whoever handles it gets it to you.

Obama’s said a few disturbing things that make my husband (retired military) and me believe that he would be really, really bad for our military.

Good catch, Susan. Keep up the good work.

    Larry,
Beyond voting for McCain in the general, I plan to send a message to the other members of the Demo party in my state who voted for BO as delegates/superdelegates despite the will of the people voting for Hillary. Is it possible to post the list of those elected individuals who followed the money and who lacked leadership, as a permanent link on No Quarter?

patsy, you are a tremendous patriot, and you scare the crap out of all the obama trolls. you are a woman in her power. the trolls are running scared, just like they ran scared from Sen Clinton. their insecurity is no match for your passion and integrity,

i am with you all the way. some very bad people are absconding with the heart and soul of the Democratic Party. it is now owned by fake democrats and republicans who have jumped ship to join the controllers of manchurian obama.

i adore Sen Clinton. i would follow her anywhere as the true leader and servant
that she is. i cannot and will not follow obama, even as she calls me to support him with such fervor and graciousness. if obama offers Sen Clinton the VP i may consider voting for the ticket. at this time, i’m really not all that sure that i will. there is a great breach of trust that the shattered party may not be able to close before nov.

i expect that the democratic party trolls will be spinning obama every which way from sunday to begin the re-educating propaganda on the masses. heh heh.

i will not soon be forgetting all that i have come to know regarding obama and the people who he works for.

my vote is with Sen McCain, and let the democratic party chips fall where they may. on the next election cycle we will see if perhaps the dem party is listening.

til then….i will do everything i can to dethrone the annointed one.
