We didn’t win last year’s election together at a committee hearing in D.C.

Remind me again (and again), where did the DNC committee meet?

But there comes a moment when we all have to choose between doing what’s easy, and doing what’s right.

Easy; Making deals with Rezko and releasing ALL your sealed personal records including the Annenburg files.
Right; NOT letting your constituents freeze their assess off. Not telling lies, like saying it is easy like a door to door vacuum cleaner sales person.

No names, just your IP address.

Obama is President. He’s overexposed in the media. He has the power to get his ‘message’ out. This is about chilling dissent. And it is a danger sign — I think there’s something wrong with the President.

Disinformation on the internet? Whoa, national crisis! I could go on Wikipedia right now and put in an edit that Obama is a martian. Ten seconds later it would be removed, and not by the gov’t. Anyone who seriously ‘rats out’ a web post to the White House–wow!

And if any of the so-called ‘netroots’ actually use that gov’t email — then they’ve crossed over into evil. I can’t believe even Daily Kos would stoop that low.

Wise comment Cathy in Ks. Yes, I couldn’t believe that Brave New World was written in 1925, as many of those concepts started being part of our real world much earlier on. But ytou are right–these authors gave us a glimpse of what the future could be. We keep forgetting taht Democracy is a fragile arrangement that absolutey requires integrity and an alert citizenry.
