Well, he needs her email and direct mail lists and probably made a bargain for that info in exchange for helping to pay off her debts (it’s been written that she does not have much time left to recoup her own personal loans to the campaign … some sort of “rule” regarding the campaign financing). He needs her major fundraisers working for him. So I think the “endorsement,” in addition to being a gun held to her head that she’d be out of the party for all practical purposes, the “endorsement” is all about money … on both sides … his need for the added fundraising and her need to pay off the debt. I think Bill’s legacy is important to her. Her singling him out during her Saturday farewell speech as the only two-term Democratic President we’ve had in the last 40 years was a reminder of this. Her speech has lots of little “bits” in it that make statements about different things, like Bill. My fave line: “Never listen to anyone who says you can’t or shouldn’t go on.” Her position is very difficult if she wants or needs to stay in the party and she has shown great capacity to handle this. It is remarkable.

Her speech on Saturday was loaded with “good soldier” stuff, even as she continued to make her case. It was astonishing, but that “DNC loaded gun” was at her head, make no mistake.

The problem with this is that many of them will go to church and ask for forgiveness. The following Monday they will be back out in the mess of things doing exactly what they asked God to forgive them for the previous Sunday.
I am not saying all people who go to church are this way because they are not. There is a select few however that think nothing of what they do since all will be forgiven on Sunday.
