“The sanction you give it”

This is the latest in the expressions submitted by our many readers. This is by our great videographer, Flineo, and I’ve put up a couple of his most compelling videos at the top and at the end of his essay || View all of Flineo’s videos. – SusanUnPC

I was far from a political junkie prior to this election.

Then Hillary made me active.

Then you all gave me a way to get involved.

Many things had transpired in the past year, culminating to the event last night.

I just want to share a quote by Ayn Rand, although I don’t subscribe to all of her philosophy.

“The evil of the world is made possible by nothing but the sanction you give it.”

All the misogyny, the abuse, the manipulation, the fraud throughout this election took place (and will continue to) because we – collectively as a society and individually as each citizen “allowed” it.

Rand’s philosophy came from her life experience under the Soviet Union. I, too, speak from first-hand experience having survived a totalitarian govermment. Perhaps I see a few things more clearly than those who haven’t experienced it. What Rand said above is very true.

The Democratic party’s content of character is no longer of a party “for the people” nor “of principles”. Its name no longer represents its content. The content of BO candidacy isn’t about hope and change, but more about the sound of those words, and the manipulation of despair and division. We – collectively and individually – sanctioned him.

Take care,
Flineo

THIS is the video that breaks my heart every time I watch it:

I love how Obama said Republicans had all the good idea’s in his GOP gaffe, yet his minions come here calling New Deal Democrats republicans.

This being done only weeks after they shut down the counting of votes in two of our Largest States, acting just like Bush, in 2000. Remember Bush V. Gore?

Next will come the plague of Ageism.

If your old your a racist!

Obama has 18 million cracks in his plan!

    • WildChild

The behavior of your average obama supporter is evidence that supports the premise that liberalism holds the center of the America’s linear political model. The right accuses liberals of being on the left. The left accuses liberals of being on the right. It is what we would expect in a universe founded on principles of relativity where the position of the observer effects their perceptions. The Liberal center of America will always be accused of being in bed with one extreme by the other extreme.

    Stupid, stupid, stupid.

And as every troll knows, BO is an illegitimate candidate. He’s a fraud, a charlatan and an embarrassment to those of us who have been loyal supporters of the Dem party.

And, turn their backs, willingly and deliberately disparage and dishonor one of the BEST Presidents in modern times — Pres. Bill Clinton! I’m outraged about that. Can’t they see how much Bill Clinton is loved, admired, and respected by WE, THE PEOPLE? It disgusts me to no end.

The Democrats are stuck with Obama now
    By Mark Neckameyer

    June 08, 2008
    Sunday

The Democrats have all but officially nominated for the most powerful elected position on Earth a young, unknown, inexperienced and thoroughly unaccomplished candidate from the furthest left fringe of the party. The best way to judge Senator Obama’s credentials and character is to evaluate his chosen associations. His friends include Bill Ayers and his wife who are unrepentant domestic terrorists and cop killers. His minister for twenty years has been the racist reverend Wright and other unsavory religious characters like Rev. Michael Pfleger and even a Louis Farakahn connection.

For all the bad characters we see in action on TV from that Trinity Church, the Obama connection that scares me the most is his extremely close personal and financial relationship with convicted Chicago gangster, extortionist, Arab American businessmanTony Rezko The connection of crooks, Mafia types and unethical politicians works like this; politicians need money to get elected. Political donations are difficult to come by so too much of the money comes from special interests and from out and out crooks who pay politicians in donations and gifts and then sell influence. This second style is the business Tony Rezko was convicted of on in sixteen Federal counts this week. One of Rezko’s well paid government contacts has been Senator Obama. Rezko began cultivating Obama early in the Senator’s career, was one of his first donors and has donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to Obama’s campaigns. . Rezko was responsible for as much as a seventh of Obama’s total contributions in Obama’s state Senate campaign. He was Obama’s finance committee chairman. Rezko influenced friends to donate to Obama and he bought property at full price which he turned around and sold to Obama at well below market price. The house Obama lives in today was purchased partly with a Rezko deal. The Obama/Rezko relationship is well documented and can be found detailed on the Internet. A lot of money is involved here too. Former state agency director Ali Ata, a one-time business associate of Rezko, was paid more than $6.5 million in rent on four state office leases despite failing for years to disclose his partners in the deals as required, state and court records show. Anybody considering voting for Obama should check this out first. Obama has even given jobs on his Senate staff to Rezko associates.

That’s just what we need, young gangsters in positions of power in Washington! My worries here are threefold. 1. What kind of bad judgement does Obama demonstrate being in a relationship with Rezko? 2. With dealings like this, the public gets bad services. The best person does not get the job. It goes to the one who pays off the most! 3. What kind of blackmail might Rezko have over Obama that he might use later? Certainly he can expect a pardon if Obama gets elected. He paid for that! The former Governor of Illinois has been convicted of crimes connected to Rezko. The current governor is in jeopardy and as Barack Obama has been a Rezko protegee going back to his law school days, voters should think very hard about what it would mean to upgrade the schemes from the State to our top Federal government level.

Rezko is very old news around here. rezkowatch has covered it, as have the chicago papers.

The thing is, it doesn’t seem to bother the obama supporters, go figure. They seem to think it is somehow “cool” to vote for obama or something. They have no idea how unsuitable he is for the job.

      • http://noquarterusa.net/blog/ Truthteller

I was one of the first to write about Rezko online. The administrator at Hillary is 44 covered the story long before anyone else explored Obama’s ties to corrupt politicians. Rezko Watch appeared after my first essays on the subject.

        • karen for Clinton

That was one of the first things I found out about too, maybe I read your piece back then.

I spent a lot of time reading Chicago papers.

Always believed in vetting my candidates on my own and this guy failed almost instantly.

We fought as hard as we could.

Now we’re just waiting on the Hillary miracle train to come round the bend again and take away the nightmare.

      • stodghie

well there are a lot of people who are not obama supporters that it will bother. rest assured that the repubs will use it along with all these other things that make bambi unelectable.

COMMUNITY ADVISORY — False flag alerts
Posted on June 8, 2008 by ronkseattle

Obots are out in force lately. Not just common trolls, but sock puppets and “false flag” posters who — in violation of every reputable Internet Service Provider’s Terms of Service agreements — impersonate established members of this community in order to disrupt and deceive.

Similar attacks are evident at other sites, and in some cases user names that have no posting history at The Confluence have been adopted from other pro-Hillary sites.

If you observe a comment from any poster, familiar or otherwise, who claims to have seen the light and decided to follow Hillary’s lead to support Obama, or pointing to McCain positions as reasons they must support Obama, please do not respond except if they’re using your username. For the time being, all such posts must be presumed counterfeit.

In time, with the assistance of their respective ISP’s, and possibly with the active cooperation of the Obama campaign itself, we’ll disable these miscreants. For now, do not talk back to them, and don’t believe any conversions on the road to Damascus.

If this is the Unity Pony’s best trick, it’s pretty lame, isn’t it?

    • claribel borden

And you are correct, but also use common sense.

If YOU feel Obama is a flaming idiot, follow your instinct, don’t allow yourself to be swayed into making a bad decision.

It IS criminal to put someone that filthy in the White House.

  • OBAMA/MARXIST

When I had finally had enough a few weeks ago, I did the unthinkable. I drove to the republican headquarters. When I drove into the parking lot I was feeling really sick to my stomach. Literally, I was about to throw up. I sat in my truck for a few minutes reflecting on my family’s three generations of being yellow dog democrats. I remember my parents being the only ones in the county who subscribed to the liberal opinion. They actually use to send them extra copies because they were the only ones in that zip code who subscribed and asked if they could put some at hospitals, waiting rooms, etc. My parents always told me the republicans would never be your friend and that democrats were the only ones who would look out for us – the blue collar working class.

I remembered all the meetings and rallies my parents took me to as a child. The bumper stickers that were free and to a kid anything that is free and sticks to something was good. I remembered my parents going to all the save the mountains meetings and writing letters to editors in a state that almost always voted republican. I admired them so much for their years of supporting the party that they were sure would be there for them. My parents were both born during the depression and they were of the mindset that you never throw anything away. I guess it came from the hard times when you made something out of nothing. I remembered the quilts of my grandmother who used the old dresses and flour sacks to make the beautiful warm comforting covers that kept them warm when there was not oil enough to heat the furnace. When my parents died I went through their house to clear away the memories of their lives for the new owners. I looked into the many boxes in my parents attic and saw that my mother had kept every campaign button she had ever worn. All those bumper stickers all those names. What a woman and what a man. What devotion.

My parents have both passed away within the last five years. I wondered if they would be disappointed in me by going to the republican headquarters. I couldn’t believe that I was actually beginning to cry and turned my truck around. I was on my way home and had decided that I needed to vote for the democratic nominee whomever that may be and at that time it was looking like the fix was in for Obama/Marxist and there was nothing to keep it from happening. Wasn’t that what my parents would have wanted?

Although most of family are farmers, my father enlisted in the Navy when he was young and eventually became one of the first groups to be called “Frogmen” that is what they called them before they were “Seals”. My father was a proud man. He fought in Viet Nam in the beginning and was there before we even declared war. My oldest brother volunteered to go in 1968 as a corpsman in the Navy and served two tours of duty before we got the telegram that day that he had been wounded. I will never forget the look on my mother’s face when she answered the door and how tears of joy streamed down her fact when she read he was only wounded.

Why were all these things flooding my head as I sat in my truck? I feel like it was my parents way of saying to me NOT to go home. But, to march into the republican headquarters. I did that. I went in and it was beautiful. Nice furniture, plasma televisions on FOX, nice air freshener. So this was the world that THEY lived in. I had been use to the democratic headquarters my whole life. The make the best with what you got with the little bit of money you have to get our democrat in office. I could feel my heart beating and I was afraid. Could I really cross over to the other side?

Somehow I got the strength to say:

I am here to get a McCain bumper sticker. I will keep it on hand and if and when the democratic party decides to nominate Obama/Marxist then I will put it on my truck. I will not join your party. I want to make that clear. I do not believe in most of what your platform stands for and do not waste your time trying to win me over. I am here to give my vote not to the republican party but to take my vote away from my party’s affirmative action candidate and send a message to the “new” democratic party. I may be one vote but you will never get my vote. My vote represents the three generations of yellow dog democrats in my family who stood against many enemies of America and we will stand against this one who has come into my family’s party and done what wars and depression could never do – try to take it away from the very people who built it.

So, I know this is a long post but I want every “new” democrat to understand that you may not question my family’s patriotism, you may not question my family’s loyalty to the democratic party. You will not degrade my blue collar roots and you will have to take control of my family’s party by stealing it.

My father and mother would be proud. We have fought wars against Marxism and every other Ism but this war for my family’s party is one I will fight on … for my mother and father.

That was a great story,OBAMA/MARXIST. You told it well.

NoObama for me either. Nope. And there are a couple of superdelegates up for re-election I also plan to not support.

But it’s a long way till August. And even longer until November. Many things could happen, we all know Obama has a huge closet for all his skelatons and they keep spilling out. Personally I’m wondering if Rev Wright might have more to say. After all, I think he’s smarting from being tossed under the bus. He was Obama’s mentor of 20 yrs and there are egos involved.

    • http://supergram.blogspot.com ProudMilitaryMom

Oh gosh- now you have my crying again. See- that’s it- you hit it- the Obama marxists are stealing the party that used to stand for US, for the people.
My parents raised me in a similar fashion. I too was taught that the Democrats were the ones who would look out for the working class.
It was very, very hard for me to go to McCain’s website. I had a knot in my stomach the size of a basketball. Back and forth, back and forth I went.
I finally found the courage to enter my information as a Dem for McCain, because my parents taught me to always, always follow my conscience.
Flineo’s great quote from Ayn Rand sums it up- I can not sanction the evil that is being perpatrated on the American people.

“The evil of the world is made possible by nothing but the sanction you give it.”

    • CamNM

Your post has made me cry for the first time…even
though I have been in a state of grief for a few weeks. What a beautiful and moving tribute to your parents and to the old Democratic Party that always made me so proud.

      Thank you.

    • ginamc

How beautiful. I cried too. I feel everything is topsy-turvy and I’ve lost my “home”– the Democratic Party. I am simultaneously pissed for being disrespected so immensely. My parents were just a little older than yours, WWII generation. And, because of them, I am a Democrat. As a Mex/Am, my proud, patriotic mother struggled to pay her “poll tax” which was later deemed discriminatory and illegal under the Voting Rights Act. But, made no difference to her at the time when she stayed up all night waiting for the returns for JFK.

I can’t believe that it has ALL turned to this. Perhaps, I’ll think differently come this Fall. But, right now, I know that I can’t vote Obama. But, I just can NOT bring myself to vote Republican either. Sad, so sad.

  • David Corse

Yes, the video made me puke too. I had to look at that poor excuse of a candidate that the Democratic Party has put forward and is forcing me to vote for a Republican for the first time in my life.

As Obama Severs Ties, County Pastors Voice Dismay

    By Hamil R. Harris
    Washington Post Staff Writer
    Thursday, June 5, 2008; PG01

The decision by Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama to leave Trinity United Church of Christ after more than 15 years is not sitting well with some African American pastors and scholars in Prince George’s County.

The senator from Illinois announced Saturday that he was leaving the church after a video surfaced showing a Chicago priest in Trinity’s pulpit appearing to mimic a tearful Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.). The Rev. Michael L. Pfleger, a guest speaker during a May 25 sermon on race, charged that Clinton, Obama’s opponent for the Democratic nomination, felt entitled to the presidency because she is white.

The Rev. Barbara Reynolds, a Prince George’s resident and Howard University School of Divinity lecturer, decried the media coverage of the incident, which she said is fueling the controversy.

“I think this is a new low,” said Reynolds, a close associate of Trinity’s retiring pastor, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, whose remarks sparked controversy for Obama earlier in the campaign. “If a politician wants to move up in government, they can come to church and jump and shout, but it is not okay to go to church where they are speaking truth to power and talking about racism, sexism and capitalism.”

Reynolds, a former USA Today columnist, found her motives under scrutiny after she helped organize a recent appearance by Wright at the National Press Club. Critics questioned whether Reynolds, who has announced her support for Clinton, intentionally tried to hurt Obama by keeping Wright in the spotlight, speculation that Reynolds has denied.

The Rev. Grainger Browning, pastor of Ebenezer African Methodist Episcopal Church in Fort Washington, said Obama’s candidacy and the controversy surrounding his relationship with the pastors is causing ministers to “rethink how our message of liberation is being communicated.”

“I am saddened that all things could not have worked together for the greater good,” Browning said. “I am sure that he is disappointed, and the church is disappointed. No one is happy how this scenario has played out.

Pfleger was one of three white ministers who preached at Trinity as part of a Sacred Dialogue on Race, an event that had been encouraged in the nation’s 5,700 United Church of Christ congregations. Pfleger apologized Sunday for his remarks.

Ron Walters, a University of Maryland political science professor, said of Obama’s decision to leave his church, “I think that it was inevitable because Dr. Wright was not out of the mainstream of American black preaching.

“It is probably a good thing for [Obama] not to have a home church because they have found a way to use statements that come from the black perspective to paint him as an African American candidate.

“Barack Obama is running for president in a country where 70 percent of the people are white, and they demand that he align himself to their dominant view.”

    • http://supergram.blogspot.com ProudMilitaryMom

Well now since when is it 15 years?? Has the media decided to reWright Obama’s history and shorten his tenure at Trinity???

      • ginamc

Absolutely. And, by November, they will try to wipe the slate completely clean, and project Wright as a closed chaper of his life– totally IRRELEVANT.

We need to print a list of all the DNC scum that were behind this assault on Democracy from the beginning and what states they represent.

The 18 million are not just voting against Nobama we’re also going to vote against the thugs that are destroying our party.

I know Ed O’ Reilly is going to challege Kerry this year. Does anyone know if one can contribute to O’Reilly’s campaign although one does’nt live in MA?

This is the year that we will teach those thugs a lesson they won’t soon forget!

IMPORTANT!!! FL residents don’t forget the following names that need to be voted out of office.

    1. U.S. Rep. Robert Wexler (this asswipe Obama supporter pushed to give Floridians only HALF a vote at the RBC!)

    2.State Rep. Joyce Cusack, DeLand

  • Susan1968

    Obama in his own words:

From Dreams of My Father: ‘I ceased to advertise my mother’s race at the age of 12 or 13, when I began to suspect that by doing so I was ingratiating myself to whites.’

From Dreams of My Father : ‘I found a solace in nursing a pervasive sense of grievance and animosity against my mothers race.’

From Dreams of My Father: ‘There was something about him that made me wary, a little too sure of himself, maybe. And white.’

From Dreams of My Father: ; ‘It remained necessary to prove which side you were on, to show your loyalty to the black masses, to strike out and name names.’

From Dreams of My Father: ‘I never emulate white men and brown men whose fates didn’t speak to my own. It was into my father’s image, the black man, son of Africa , that I’d packed all the attributes I sought in myself, the attributes of Martin and Malcolm, DuBois and Mandela.’

From Audacity of Hope: ‘I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.’

    • so saddened

      susan1968,

i’m waiting for obama’s own words to start being used against him. more so those like the last one you quoted than the earlier ones. i think he might sell the gullible on oh that was just talk about how i felt back then…. but i will stand is not a past tense statement….

and the audiobook versions should come in really handy.

      • Susan1968

Here’s another tidbit from a 2007 article about BO in Rolling Stone:

He came to the Capitol equipped with his own, swelling celebrity; the Senate was not a perfect fit. Beyond his considerable charm, Obama can be righteous and cocky. He came to Washington pushing the hope that politics could be better — but now he can give the impression that he’d rather be just about anywhere other than in Washington. … Listening to a bloviating colleague at his first meeting of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, Obama slipped a three-word note to a member of his staff: “Shoot. Me. Now.”

        (and from same article)

“If you want to understand where Barack gets his feeling and rhetoric from,” says the Rev. Jim Wallis, a leader of the religious left, “just look at Jeremiah Wright.”

My name is John Smart. I am pro Clinton and very anti-Obama – I write a blog – linked to my name above. Some poor soul has posted here using my name and saying things I would not say. Uppity has reported the same thing. As has a regular on my blog named Jay who runs http://writehillaryin.com//

I haven’t don’t care enough to track these people down… it is silly of them. Another exercise in weakness. The best way to stop these people is simply to ask them to defend Obama. They can’t. Silly tricks is the default position of the moronic.
    I haven’t changed my attitude.

Just want to point out how much the Kool-Aid has now infected these people. It’s on a cellular level now. Pathetic in the end. Obama will fail them. If they were paying attention they would know he already has. Obama’s complete failure will come. I am at peace, and know who I am because I know that regardless of the outcome of the G.E. I’ve already won.
We’ve already one. Millions of people have become involved and based their involvement on truth. Unlike millions of others who’ve become involved based on fantasy and sublimated rage. To paraphrase Amy Winehouse:

Yes, I was Jessie. That was before they stole my screen name. I will now use a screen name that I am pretty sure they will not steal.

They believe they are so smart, so cunning, so young and fresh and new. There is nothing new about their agenda. It rears its ugly head every few decades.

They will try to steal our identities because they have no real identities of their own – only the ones they are given by the Obama/Marxist campaign.

Yes they are so predictable. Your solution of a nick they will never use is effective as well as my technique of signing all posts. And as long as we stick to the truth, they have nothing tangible to use against us. While we have a veritable cornucopia of truth to shut down their lies, and they give us more ammunition every day. But we need to have some fun too! So while we are all here keeping the faith, lets try and figure out who the Obamessiah might name to his cabinet positions. I’ll start us off

Flineo, oh that all of us could make our points so hauntingly compelling and poignant. Thank you for your brilliance.

  • HARP

A senior foreign policy adviser to leading Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama told me that if elected Obama will not “rule out” using private security companies like Blackwater Worldwide in Iraq. The adviser also said that Obama does not plan to sign on to legislation that seeks to ban the use of these forces in US war zones by January 2009, when a new President will be sworn in. Obama’s campaign says that instead he will focus on bringing accountability to these forces while increasing funding for the State Department’s Bureau of Diplomatic Security, the agency that employs Blackwater and other private security contractors.

Sorry, but I don’t go to that site. Ever.

    • Andy

Well, as we see Obama is a proud relative of Cheney indeed !!

I guess Michelle’s “give us something here” will happen.

  • max

Don’t count Hillary out yet her statement Saturday (I don’t considered it a concession because it was coerced) was defiant in a very subtle way …I do believe that the Michelle “My bell” Obama racist tape does exist. Since it has not surfaced yet, it must have been recorded at a private meeting, so only a few copies out there. However, if Obama is the nominee…America first, party second.

    • //Yahoo ALforHill

I don’t understand the reasoning behind the Republicans thinking if they are the holders of said tape/DVD. They always bragged about being the most patriotic moreso than Dems. Why take a chance that he could bamboozle himself into the W.H. and take over. And who knows, he’s weazeled his way past every other scandal with the help of the MSM. Look at how he was nobody and just came out of nowhere and took over everything. Scary S–t. If the Repubs have it for the good of America, they should put up or shut up. Country before party as you say. Limbaugh alludes to it but never says more.

      • POdVet

They will release it in time to ensure Obama is not President. But by waiting until after the convention, they ensure Hillary can not be the nominee, they KNOW they can’t beat her. By waiting they ensure themselves the White House. and in the week after it’s released, you can bet they will also bring out every example of how the DNC screwed Hillary and the people by forcing Obama on us as the nominee. The Republicans don’t just want the White House. If they time this right, and push the right buttons, they will get every leading Democrat up for re-election who supported Obama out of the House and Senate. The Democratic majority Congress already has the lowest rating for any congress EVER. One good push and they are utterly destroyed. And we KNOW the Republicans can and will do it. Rove has been smirking his pudgie little ass off on Fox News. He doesn’t even give a damn that democrats in Congress are trying to find charges on him, because he knows that before they could get charges brought, the Republicans will be in charge of everything again and the investigations will die a very quick death. It’s underhanded, disgusting and just plain sad, but the DNC has handed it to them. If we can’t expose the truth about Obama before the convention, we will have to put up with 4 more years of Republican domination if we are to have any hope of bringing the Democratic party back to the Democrats instead of the corrupt, racist, radical morons it has chosen to throw itself to right now.

This absolutely makes sense as a scenario. This means the dems are in the wilderness for a while.

        • Kinky Ogremann

So true! and now that they have video and photos and quotes of every democrat who has supported Obama – it will be very easy to PURGE the House and Senate of them come Nov when that tape surfaces. Especially with the newbies who took over in 2006 – people still don’t know who they are, they haven’t had a chance to do much yet, and now, to raise questions of their patriotism, far-left leanings, and even Communism? They are ALL toast with Obama.

Remember the NC, Louisiana, TN ads against house members there? What saved them was that they had not vehemently supported Obama yet or received a lot of money from him, and the Wright thing had just came out – now we have Pfleger, Rezko, and “whitey”? It’s so over.

Hate him – but must bow down to Rove – the master architect.

Fabulous Post thank you for all you have done!

  • Nadai

Great videos, Flineo! The last one is haunting.

  • pm317

Thank you, Flineo for your brilliant contribution during this primary season and I hope you keep making these videos speaking truth to the power. I agree with you that there is a collective responsibility for bringing more shame to what has already transpired. For us as ardent Hillary supporters that would be to go along with sham cries for party unity and vote for him, the perpetrator of misogyny and the affirmative action candidate. We have to protest and not give our precious votes to continue this shameful behavior or condone it.

  • ken

The Democratic elites threw truth, justice and democracy under the bus they borrowed from Obama. For that, the whole party suffers. The party is now the enemy of the people.

More power to Filneo. Great clips.

You are so amazing – Flineo! I wouldn’t be surprised if the Republicans contacted you to make some RNC ads (yours are way better than the ones they have – you give us hope, they give us only fear!). Thank you thank you and please keep it up!

  • annie

Fantastic video! Flineo, you are greatly appreciated! Thanks so much!

  • kat in your hat

    Thank you flineo.

I still can’t believe that the dem party put up Obama, a guy who was only in the U.S. Senate for one year before he announced his candidacy.

In the real world, this would be called gender discrimination, a racial double standard–a radioactive affirmative action deal that would never happen in the real job world.

    It’s i.n.s.a.n.e.

I will never vote for him. Ever ever.

  • Captain USA

Oh noes! We are losing the Objectivist vote!

    Whatevers shall we do?

  • Real Objectivist

It disgusts me that you people would use an Ayn Rand quote, especially when you represent the very evil she is talking about. The idea that somebody’s need gives him or her a right to others’ property – a claim on their life and their production – is the evil against which Rand spent her life fighting. Yet you people use tidbits of her writing whenever it suits you while simultaneously advocating socialist programs like universal healthcare, welfare, social security, etc. Such programs form the foundations of the totalitarian state… where the many live off of the production of the few… where those who are capable of succeeding are held hostage by the incompetent… where mediocrities such as yourself – “the double parasites” – prey on the wealth of your betters and the sores of your inferiors to inflate your own egos.

    • ginamc

Real Objectivist? Hmmmm. Your idiotic rant seems pretty Subjective.

Wait until November 4; that’s when we’re REALLY going to entertain you! You won’t soon forget it. We promise!

  • noproblama

This is how we feel about your candidate. We are embarrassed, ashamed, horrified that he is the Democratic nominee. We will do everything we can to see that this puppet is soundly defeated should he last until the general election. His candidacy has divided, and possibly destroyed the party.

This is how we feel about you. You are as vile to us as any self-serving, right-wing, neocon wacko could ever be. We don’t care what you think or say. You’re a piece of feces stuck to the heel of the most recent attempt at a corporate coup d’etat. A heel that, if the moneyed powers are successful, you will soon be flattened under.

    Go away.

Lets put aside the sexism and the charges of racism. The fallacy of the Obama campaign is that if he is elected, people will suddenly stop acting like people, that we will change. It’s an essential component to his thesis. We have government of the people and for that type of government to fundamentally change, the people have to fundamentally change. I’ve lived all over this country north, south, east and west and except for a few cosmetic differences in appearance, accent or philosophy, this is the one truth I’ve found: no matter where you go, people are people are people. We aren’t going to change because Barack Obama was elected president. It isn’t going to happen. We won’t even change on the political front because should Barack be elected, we will be replacing the old group of right wing conservative zealots that entered the political fray with Ronald Reagan with the new group of left wing progressive zealots the entered the political fray with Barack Obama. Movement politics will continue and the first day of this new movement will start the clock for it’s eventual demise. I’d prefer not to go through the rest of my life watching the oscillations of the political pendulum as it swings back and forth from right to left to right to left, moving ever closer to the Liberal center of America as the movements lose their energy. I can help to arrest the momentum by stopping this swing to the left by not supporting Barack Obama. When all is said and done and America is finished flushing it’s movements we will be left with only ourselves to live with and all of time left before us to make that life in. Only then will the liberal agenda as it is laid down in the constitution flourish and grow. The sooner that happens the sooner we all benefit.

  • WildChild

And here I was hoping that you might respond with some similar high level discourse. But all I get from you is what I already know, that it is our right (but not our privilege) to hold opposing views. It is a right since it stems from our first amendment rights of free speech, free religion, free press, free assembly. This right is in effect at all times until it is denied to us by a nullifying constitutional amendment or a constitutional convention that doesn’t feel we need our first amendment rights any longer. Only then would what you speak of become a privilege.

  • Andy

WTF; OMG that’s horrible. Isn’t anyone at his website monitoring these blogs? Of course there must be….

Well, it is a free speech blog. Yes, but it is also moderated whether they want to say so or not.
