Good. Part of it, is, political campaigns, today, are run by advertising executives, and, they use the campaign, the same way, they would market, a commercial product.

I think, you missed, that. Aside, from that, I have only, one further, objection. Otherwise, it’s a great, convincing, article, totally, spot on.

THE DAILY CALL TO ACTION

As Minnow stated, “We are now engaged in the battle for the hearts, minds and souls of America.” We, along with many of the Clinton Nation are foot soldiers in an army that for the next 80 days has one purpose; ending the candidacy of Barry Pampers OBonds and placing the popular vote, and legitimate pledged delegate leader in her rightful place as Presumptive Nominee of the Democratic Party. One weapon at our disposal is what we are calling The Daily Call to Action.

Every day we will post one thing you can do to help the cause. It might be a call to the DNC. It might be emailing the SDs in your state. Whatever it is, the key to success is that everyone performs the Daily Action, and gets everyone in their network of Clinton supporters to do it as well, and they tell two friends and they tell two friends and so on and so on and so on. All the Daily Actions will be simple to do, inexpensive or free, take very little time, and won’t require any special tech abilities. And of course, the Daily Action is obviously not the only thing you can do – it’s just a place to start.

We will be letting the DNC, the super delegates, and the Pampers campaign know that we are not going to be good little boys and girls. We will not let a wholly and totally unqualified, morally bankrupt fascist pretender to be shoved down our throats. Not now. Not ever. We hope you will participate in the Daily Action Campaign. Together we can change the face of American politics.

The Daily Action is being put together by LAMusing and Shtuey. When you see either of us on the blog, please give us suggestions! We are in this together!

DAILY CALL TO ACTION: ALL HANDS ON DECK!

18 million hands – send them to the DNC!

1. Trace your hands on an 8×11 sheet of paper. Make it colorful to grab attention.
2. Write your name and city/state in the center of your hands and the words “I am one of 18 million.”
3. Above the hands, write: “These hands are on the front lines of democracy. I pledge I will not vote for Obama.”
4. Below the hands, write a line or two about your reasons you won’t vote for BO, why you are upset with the DNC, or whatever stirs your soul. We suggest you keep it fairly brief for maximum impact.
5. Put it in an envelope and send it off to the DNC.

6. Pass it on!!! Post this call to arms wherever you can! Let’s bombard the DNC with the millions of hands of the voters they dismissed, ignored, disenfranchised and belittled. And remember the old saying – “Many hands make light work.”

I’ve often wondered if Obama is even a Democrat, or if most of his supporters are Democrats. When Rove made his strategy of appealing to the Republican base rather than the independants most of them felt the Republican party had abandoned them.
So then they moved to the Democrats and fuelled the rise of most so called left wing blogs, really full of independants. For example Andrew Sullivan, John Cole and Kos were all Republicans. If their base really is independants who care little about Democratic values, then Obama as their candidate really has not much interest in Democratic policies. He gets the black vote because blacks vote for one of their own, like it or not, so he doesn’t really need to give them anything traditionally Democratic.
For examples he doesn’t talk about helping blacks at all, raising the minimum wage, and his policies on health care look like they could be discarded as well.
In effect he is running for a third party base, like the Social Democrats in Britain, except he edged out the Democratic nominee in Hillary to do it. I think Hillary should run as a third party candidate so Democrats get a voice in the race again.
If you don’t believe this then try an experiment. Go to Daily Kos and try to run a diary or comment on traditional Democratic values and they will either close you down or label you a concern troll. They simply are not Democrats in the traditional definition of the term.

The last tent preacher meeting I sat through (in a religious college) I had to hang on to my chair because I so wanted to stand up and SCREAM that the fools were being conned. Everyone else was mesmerized by the con man preacher man. At that point I was an observer — not a believer and I could clearly see how the students were being conned. I see the exact same emotional response from the young (and some not so young) to Obama. It is sort of like love — someone who has come to take away all their fears and make everything safe– someone who can be a BIG daddy or BIG brother. “Oh he’s so wonderful” — followed by a big sigh and then the dreamy look. Also the high intensity of the emotional high.

Obama has learned to play with the neurotransmitters in the brains of his followers — and people really are getting a high — he plays with people’s primitive emotional responses.

I respect people who have personal faith and their own private religion — no matter the brand or god.

However, I do NOT want religion forced on me — and this is why Obama is doing — and YES the young college age kids are very vulnerable. This is the age that the cult leaders seek to influence.

I’m very spiritual, and I can’t stand it either. Why would one look to a politician for spiritual guidance?

That tells me we should have grounded our children better in this area of life. They are entirely too vulnerable to tent preachers.
