amy thank you for your thoughts,i have not wanted to talk about what this family has gone through since the accident.we had greathopes after my wifes first surgery in jan,however she developed a staff infection and had to be opened back up,if we would have had to wait for approval for readmission we probably would have lost her as her white blood cell count was above 24,000 with normal being around 8,000.thank god she is still here as we just celebrated 21 years together.
so any prayers are appreciated as she is going to have to go back under the knife one more time which hopefully will fix it or at least let her stop taking meds for pain.anyway thanks all from the tufts.

I just attended a Patients First event. There was a bus but it traveled around…NOT the people. I was there when the bus arrived and it contained a couple of the people that spoke at the rally, a couple people who set up, a couple who took pictures and their equipment and that’s it.

We had over 200 people show up. I went right after work. My sign said “ObamaScare: the next Cash For Clunkers? Turn in Grandma!” Guess what? I made that up all my little, ole self. Stop patronizing and insulting. It won’t work. Unlike you lemmings, we have our own minds and actually look into things. We trust neither side. We trust ourselves. WE READ THE BILL AND KNOW WHAT’S IN THERE.

The recess rally is also from us, the grassroots. It was built by those who started the tea parties….local caring citizens. The reason we came up with that is because the lying, chicken Democratic Reps will not tell us the truth on the healthcare bill. WE READ THE BILL AND KNOW WHAT’S IN THERE. Now, rather than deal with us they are hiding. We decided we would take it to their front yards.

We cannot just stand back as Obamarx wants us to while the government takes over our healthcare. It is not about healthcare. It is about power, control and redistribution. It’s about Socialism. He doesn’t care about the poor or blacks or hispanics or the elderly or anyone else he claims. He cares about keeping them victims to ensure their vote.

Why empower someone when you can minimize, ridicule them and then use them as now they are under your thumb? Great strategy, huh?

Wake up, America.

Yep, changed my tune sometime last fall. For years, I was the tree-hugging, bleeding heart Democrat who just would NOT listen to anything the other side had to say. Now people like Hannity, O’Reilly and even Newt Gingrich are making sense. Everything is not as it should be.

Companies would have the option of paying an 8% payroll tax into a fund that pays for coverage for Americans who aren’t covered by their employers. It won’t happen right away — large companies must wait a couple of years before they opt out. But it will happen, since it’s likely that the tax will rise a lot more slowly than corporate health-care costs, especially since they’ll be lobbying Washington to keep the tax under control in the righteous name of job creation.

Pay to play. So the end result is a fixed 8% cost when health care costs rise above the “cost of doing Business”.

The next time you hear “revenue neutral” , don’t walk, run.

it all makes me so sick! just the fact that obama just wants to let all senior citizens as he put it ”Die with dignity” it’s just like taking your old pets to the humane society were they die ten minutes after they arive or pay all those docters who’ve spent years in collage and medical school so they can try to save peoples lives and make a diference in the world just to make as much as some one who works at mcdonalds
