The Incoherent, Unqualified Candidate Cannot Complete a Sentence [Update]

What is going on with Obama? We know that extemporaneous speaking is not his forte — especially with all those hmmmms and ahhhhhhhhs as well as the slowness with which he has to speak in order to piece together a thought. We know that he only “performs” well when he has a teleprompter to read from. We know he’s said there are 57 to 58 states in the U.S.A. and that 10,000 people died in a storm (only 10 actually died), and that he makes gaffes regularly, so much so that we’ve dubbed them “Obamaism” (like Bushisms). But as you’ll see here, he can’t utter a coherent declarative sentence. UPDATE: This is from an event in Virginia on June 5, 2008:

Here’s another astonishing example:

Never once, no matter how exhausted or stressed she was — or how little sleep she’d had — did Hillary Clinton ever display such troubling inability to speak coherently. Furthermore, had Hillary spoken like that, the media coverage would be nearly non-stop! But Barack “The One” goes untouched …

We’ve all analyzed the number of Obamaisms — the gaffes he makes regularly. I’ve sensed that part of it is that, besides the lack of sleep, he is stressed far more than Hillary because he has to pretend — every minute of every day — to be someone he is not. He is doing an “act.” He’s an actor on a stage. He is playing a role. He is not himself.

We could ask any professional actor how he or she would feel if they had to remain “in character” for 18 hours each day, and I’d expect they’d tell us that they’d reach a breaking point, when they couldn’t concentrate any longer and that they’d flub their lines.

Check out these earlier No Quarter stories for more Obama “gaffes” — which is too light a term to explain what we saw in the above videos:

Special thanks to Andy for e-mailing me the new videos.

    Uppity:

I want to thank you for alerting me to the Imposter at Dems for McCain. I suppose I am beginning to ruffle some feathers on my end also! Thanks for watching my back Hun. It seems we are going to have to close ranks and support each other more so now than ever. This is not the first time my name has been used to make an Obamabot point. Our “Family” here knows what I think and I believe you all know that I am no Linfar! I will satnd by EVERYTHING I post!
My wife thought it funny that they would stoop to this level. She knows not what levels some will stoop to silence the discussion. Thanks Uppity, This man owes you one for the heads up!

This has been happening every since he started running but the media pretty much ignores any gaffes he happens to utter.

Wow he is acting messed up! I love the “breathalyser” Freudian slip. Maybe he was intoxicated and admitting it?

Its a good thing Hillary is hanging on to her delegates. We might need her to step in and be the nominee after all! ;)

I hope the poor trolls don’t lose any sleep over the fact their king’s meltdown has begun.

  • LN

Yeah, I had my name stolen too a few days ago. Maybe I should be flattered! NOT!

I like the previous post where someone suggested the idea of using names that are derogatory to nobama such as NeverNoBama1Puma and so forth. That way, the robbers would (maybe) think twice about posting under such a name.

But they are so stupid, maybe they would just continue their mindless cut and paste. Be afraid obamabots, be very afraid. All of the slime is just beginning to ooze out of Precious’ campaign and there is a l o n g way to go till August…and even l o n g e r to go until November.

  • http://www.fiscalliberal.com fiscalliberal

This was bumbling was so evident when he was up against Hillary. Now he is up against McCain and the bar is set lower.

As was said in he previous post, nothing has changed since Hillary was deselected by the DNC. Obama simply is not qualified.

The reality is that the budget is so screwed up and getting out of Iraq is going to be so messy, the blacks and ultra liberals are going to be very disappointed in his administration. Just like George Bush, his inexpeience will make him subject to all the sharpies of Washinton.

The real question is: will Obama continue to be the Media darling after the Republicans get done with him.

  • Mel

    Dear Fellow Former Democrats;

ATT: in accordance to the wishes of the DNP Selected Nominee and Donna Brazile this message.

This campaign season was an amazement of learning and experiencing many things, but most of all, Obama’s campaign and surrogates taught Americans these important lessons towards Party Loyalty and character:

1- The candidates chose to run for POTUS for the good of the country.
2- Michelle Obama refusing to say, without hesitation, that she’d support for Hillary had she won the nomination, showed the true signs of Party loyalty! When pushed, she said she’d have to think about it!
    3- Stacking votes.
4- Borrowing voters from across Party lines to defeat opponents.
5- That the time has come to reach across Party lines for common good of the country.

In answering these, the best candidate for the country has been eliminated by a select group of Party Elite. In being true to her word, Hillary conformed to her word. That is Hillary’s choice, but she also said to voters all along the campaign trail to place the country and the countries interests first.

Americans also learned from Donna Brazile stating clearly that the Democratic Party does not need the people that Senator Obama has distain for, and we take her at her word. Now although she feels she can demand people to do things like stay home, that is expecting people to forgo the Constitution and not enact its charge of one person, one vote!

Therefore, from the words of the Democratic Selected nominee and his wife’s lips and from their emails, we will oblige them. But unlike the redefined Democratic Party, the old Democratic Party has always been a very respecting group of folks, and yet something has been left selfishly incomplete. That is inexcusable and shows very low class.

We must remember we were Democrats prior to June 4th, 2008 and this unfinished business is requiring repair before our departing, after all it is the only fair thing to do. During the Primary season, Senator Barack H. Obama called out for help by Republicans and Independents to become Democrats for a day and never repaid their favor, that folks is simply inexcusable.

Now we cannot in good conscience leave the Democratic Party with this favor done and not yet returned, it is our duty as fair-minded people to prepay the services requested for by Senator Barack H. Obama’s while we were Democrats since the Republicans did answer his cry of help, we have been reminded over and over again. Thus it is up to us provide some form of repayment isn’t it?

Knowing how selfish Senator Barack H. Obama is, as exemplified in his rejection towards the NAACP to speak at their convention, it is our rightful final duty as Democrats at the time to repay the favor bestowed upon a fellow Democrat by becoming Republicans for a day. Senator John McCain suggested a day to repay this favor is in November, well actually November the 4th to be precise.

Now let’s not only show the country but the world that Democrats, even Democrats told to leave by Donna Brazile always return favors in 10 fold, as a gesture of good will and harmony in a fashion to Unite beyond Party lines as Senator Barack H. Obama stated must be done for the country, in his run for DNP Selected nominee! In doing so, we also set an example to our children that a favor never goes unreturned.

So following Senator Barack H. Obama’s many passionate pleas for Republicans to be Democrats for a day, show the Democratic spirit and new good will demanded by the DNP Selected nominee and become a Republicans on November 4th, 2008! Your doing so is also a good thing, as it creates unification and abandons divide and politics of old as proclaimed by the DNP Selected nominee via his inspiring messages. In this vein, it also allows you to do so guilt free, as Senator Barack H. Obama is the one who created this method of Unity!

Some will suggest, this is being vindictive it isn’t at all. Simply refer it back to all the emails by the Obama campaign making this request of Republicans for a day.

Now don’t forget how many times the pundits and Obamatwats have reminded people that Hillary had no plans for after Feb 4th, well feel rest assured, this is Senator Barack H. Obama own plan and he must have realized this plan of his would require some form of repayment and it must be commended of him to undertake such a feat. In his incredible judgement, he must have realized that the repayment of this favor he asked numerous times during the DNP Primary’s would sustain a harder road for him to the White House, as becoming a Republican for a day will require Senator Barack H. Obama to obtain 2 replacement votes. It has been noted that 40% of Clinton supporters are willing to repay this favor given Senator Barack H. Obama, and thus he must be commended in realizing he will have to find in the neighborhood of 15 million new voters to replace those Donna Brazile asked to depart and who are willing to abide by Senator Barack H. Obama’s goals of uniting across Party lines for the good of the country.

So when talking to Obama supporters, thank them for this incredible gift their leader bestowed upon the people, something never experienced before in political life and likely to never occur again, as gifted political leaders only come along once in a lifetime! So give the Obama supporters some love when they approach you and tell them their leader was the inspiration of what is so wrong with this country and how liberating he has made you feel! Also do not leave out Donna Brazile in thanking for the spirit of freedom and assure her that Senator Barack H. Obama’s message of crossing Party lines and Unity will be a reality this fall! Darn, just like those pundits on MSNBC, chills are finally riding up my leg!

That kind of pauses is the result of not knowing what he’s talking about. He probably gets data from his advisers that he needs to recall impromptu, but fails because it’s not information he owns. Unlike Hilllary who goes over data herself, understands what she’s reading, synthesizes, sees the problem, and comes up with solutions, Obama regurgitates what he’s been fed. Someone should send this video to Carolyn Kennedy so she can compare JFK, and BHO and see that they have nothing in common, not in experience and not in intelligence.

McCain also needs to stop giving speeches in nursing homes. I know he has trouble attracting a decent crowd, so it might be time to start using some of that fundraising money to pay people to attend. At least that way he can give the “appearance” that he’s popular.

Michelle Obama Gears Up for a Gabfest
By Natalie Finn Wed Jun 4, 11:33 AM PDT
No more View from the cheap seats for Michelle Obama.
The potential next first lady of the United States is slated to appear June 18 as a guest host on The View.
No celebrity guests have been booked yet, but we’re sure Barack Obama’s Princeton and Harvard-educated missus will have no trouble being heard over the most vocal ladies in daytime.

Cindy McCain shared couch space with late-night host Craig Ferguson when she performed guest-hosting duties in April.
But although Mrs. McCain beat Mrs. Obama to the coffee klatch, both have the inside track on how to stir it up—their husbands, who right this second are focusing on going head-to-head in November, have been guests on the morning chatfest multiple times.
“We treat the wives differently than the candidates,” executive producer Bill Geddie told the Associated Press, adding that they invited Obama on as a guest but that she requested the same role given to McCain. “We’re tougher on the candidates than we are on the wives. We’re trying to get to know them.”

Wow mainsteam this is a nice way to push an elction

  • Obama_isWeak

Wow, what an eloquence… your are very articulate; which school do you attend?

  • Mel

Now now, how can we be losers if we follow the teachings and examples of such a remarkable and insightful person?

Isn’t that like saying then that anyone who doesn’t agree with Obama’s examples of ledership are losers?

My oh my, then I am at a complete loss here, first people want everyone to follow Obama and when you do, you are considered a loser.

This is a double negative, I thought Obama’s teachings and examples are positive aren’t they?

  • http://deleted Kathleen

I received a BA in theatre and then studied acting in NYC for 4 years. It is without a doubt that obama has been acting his way through this primary.

Note the way he uses certain inflections with his voice in order to evoke a certain kind of emotion. The way he dips his voice for effect, much like a preacher does to get his congregation all worked up. Kind of like a Rev. Wright, if you know what I mean. His vocal gymnastics when giving a speech is anything but natural and reminds me very much how a stage actor uses their voice when playing a character that must be heard all the way to the back of the theatre. He doesn’t sound natural or at ease when giving these speeches. He sounds “rehearsed”. When he does have to interact with people on a one-on-one level, he totally loses his bearings and his true personality comes through and it’s very evident from the 2 video clips above that he is very uncomfortable when having to think on his feet and step outside of his comfort zone of “preaching”, and not interacting in a personal way with the people. In fact, it comes across to me that he just doesn’t like interacting with people, and only does it when he absolutely has to.

Because his entire persona while in front of an audience comes across as “acting 101″ so much so, I find that I cannot watch him without becoming extremely angry. This started soon after the primary season had begun and I did not have any negative opinions about obama and was open to getting to know him. It’s only escalated, since I’ve gotten to know more about him and his past and his questionable associations.

On the other hand, after attending a rally for Hillary, it was evident to me that she is not capable of acting when talking about policy issues! She was straightforward, specific and, as always, extremely articulate and knowledgeable. She never missed a beat. Her kind of delivery of these complex issues can only come from years of experience and study of them. You can’t fake that (hence obama’s poor efforts to do so). Because obama is so far behind Hillary in his knowledge and understanding of the complex issues facing our country today, I am totally devastated by the DNC’s plan to anoint him as the nominee. I still can’t believe it!

The only alternative I see is that Hillary’s supporters must unite and do whatever is necessary to make certain this man and his handlers don’t get anywhere near the White House. I just can’t stand another 4 years of an incompetent, arrogant man in the oval office, propped up by a power elite armed and dangerous with their hidden agenda, which I have no doubt is not in the best interest of the people.

Nor can our country or the world for that matter.

What a “great” orator, I have seen him speak with no teleprompters, very boring. Mostly ummms, and uhhhs, and well followed by a minute of silence, he is quite over rated on speaking ability, and everything else I might add. Now Hillary doesn’t need teleprompters to give a coherent speech :)

  • Kinky Ogremann

I didn’t give much credence to the whole Larry Sinclair “sex and drugs” party in a limo with Obama story – but the more I see of Obama talking on-the-fly, the more I wonder, what is he using? Now- we know Bush was at least a coke user as a teenager, and seems to suffer from fetal alcohol syndrome (just look at his pointy ears). But what about Obama? His mom seemed to be hippie-like, hey, just saying… and Obama did admit to using many types of drugs in his book. Cocaine comes to mind, maybe even a little meth? Something that inhibits critical thinking and judgment – maybe that’s why he always has to take so many days off to “rest” or more likely, “use”? We know he has addiction problems – smoking, megalomania. Just a thought – if I was a Republican, I would pursue this as drug users can become extremely careless and reveal themselves. It’s worth looking into…*hint *hint GOP…

People keep thinking this is about HIM. It’s not. It’s about HER. Specifically, getting her out of the race before November. The G.O.P. and Karl Rove have been planning this election cycle since 2004 (apparently in consultation with Nancy Pelosi, Howard Dean and Harry Reid). What better way to erase Clinton’s advantage than with the first viable black candidate for President. The Illinois G.O.P. rigged his U.S. Senate election by running a non-resident against him. The rest of the story is now history. For more on how this race has been manipulated, please click on my screen name for an article that links to many sources. You’ll also find info on criminal activity Obama is associated with that hasn’t been reported.

I agree! I’d consider myself quite an intelligent individual (if that doesn’t sound too bigheaded! lol), but when I watch Hillary speak, no matter what the context, I kinda just sit here and think, “Wow, that lady is has one of the best brains around”. She is clued up on *everything*.

And the devastating part? The Democratic Party have chosen this guy over her. Where is the logic?

Obviously he never engaged in rigorous policy discussion on childrens’ health or on law enforcement and DUIS. For if he had, he would know the difference between a breathalyzer and an inhalator. Or perhaps he views children who require additional health care as criminals. After all, he refuses to offer Americans universal health care.

I guess the campaign lost the teleprompter before the event in Virginia. And this is the candidate my party will field against John McCain in November? I must say I am nonplussed.

Ah well wait till Nov 4th, you will see a complete dead ender, the DNP, Bambi and Chicago corruption all in one big swoosh!

And it will be shown in HD for your viewing pleasure!

  • SueB.

    Hahahahaha!!
A 60 y/o woman ran his legs off. Bambi can’t take it, poor thing.

  • http://www.obama-wire.com Dave

I wanted to inform you about another website called

    http://www.obama-wire.com

that is devoted to breaking the media’s generous spotlight on the Obama campaign. I think together our sites are trying to achieve the same goal–not getting Sen. Obama elected, and I also think together we can get closer to achieving our goal.

    Cheers,
    Dave

  • UniversityofIowaJR

Yup, remember when they applauded for a sneeze,I think it was.

  • SueB.

I hate the way he draws out “and”…aaaaaaaannd…

  • Zee

    Wow….breathalyzer, huh??

Total freudian slip. The whiner didn’t have much sleep but he had a nip or two, huh?

  • hmm

He reminds me more of Bush every day.

Maybe he has one of those little listening devices that Bush had and someone tells him what to say. He said he couldn’t hear himself-maybe he was trying to tell his handlers to turn up his volume.

I hope its something like that-it was pretty strange if he gets that incoherent just because he is tired.

  • Andy

It was for interrupting his great oratory to blow his nose: cheers and an standing ovation ….

  • http://hyper-educated-uppity-woman.blogspot.com Uppity Woman

    He’s TERRIBLE extemporaneously. Just TERRIBLE.

  • Zee

Oh, and sadly we won’t have Mark Crispin Miller to analyze all these bumbling “57 states” and “breathalyzer” misspeaks, the way he did with Bush, because he was one of the first to down the koolaid.

  • Andy

    extemporaneously

    only?

  • CarR

It’s funny, I only wish it really was, but the more I am told to support BO the more resolute I become that I NEVER will. I refuse! After Bush, I have had it and I won’t take any more of the media selecting our Presidents and their manipulation of the facts and the despicable way the DNC acted was the final straw. What will I do? I am not sure yet, but I know that for the first time in almost 40 years I will not vote for the Democratic candidate if it is Obama. I am insulted that every pundit on TV insists we will “come around” or “get over Hillary’s loss” and vote for him by November. NEVER! How stupid do they think we are? I only hope our country can survive this. Keep up the good work here on No Quarter. I feel like I am not alone.

  • Hope

That’s an Obama trick. Paid fainters, pretending rock concerts are politivcal events, creating backdrops with white voters, it’s all an illusion.

  • TeakWoodKite

Uppity, what ever RedDragon62 doing to ruffle some features, I enjoy reading what you both post, there neads to be a color of the day to stop this crap.

  • Clintooey

    No moron is alone here.

  • http://paganpower.wordpress.com/ PaganPower

What a F***ing idiot. He can’t hear himself speak? Tell me he isn’t in love with himself. Perhaps there might be a difference between a breathalyser and an inhalator. Ya think?

If Hillary would have made gaffes like these we would hear profusely that it was because of her age. Obama would probably felt at ease within the Democratic party to get away with saying it. And his folks at the Obamedia would take it from there.

This guy is an embarrassment. And he must be stopped.

  • Troll Free Zone

I think he said, “hear himself speak” which is really peculiar. Because as you wrote, most people would say, “I can’t hear myself think.” This guy is over the edge gone far away. So was he listening to a pre-recorded speech he made? Or listening to a handler? And why couldn’t he hear himself “speak?” He said to the crowd, I’m glad you’re all fired up as though they were being all rowdy. Looked like they were being quiet.
Earth to Obama…… time to go back to the other planet.

  • Clintooey

    “Koolaid”
    a-g-a-i-n.

Don`t you morons EVER get bored with being boring?

  • Hope

    Kathleen,
Great critique. You are absolutely right..there is nothing there with Obama. What he’s relying on is exactly the “preacher” effect you pointed out. His supporters call his rhetoric “teachings”. Teachings??!!
This is a political campaign, not a religious experiment.

  • so saddened

    well done, mel!

my vote for mccain is consistent with donna brazenwitch’s request – dems don’t need me. it is consistent with michelle obullshit’s fine example – can’t support the dem nominee. it’s consistent with oblowme’s message that party loyalty is not needed.

planned on voting mccain the minute it became clear oblowme was to be “chosen.” now i have a lovely framework for that vote.

yes we will, oblowme, vote for mccain.

  • Hope

That’s good because Leno doesn’t seem to.

  • CarR

If he can’t think straight when he is tired, how is he going to make the right decision when he gets that 3:00 am call?

  • so saddened

that’s why oblowme doesn’t want to do townhalls and is suddenly in favor of the lincoln douglas style debates hillary proposed. each candidate talks for an hour, etc., no questions. i’m sure they’d let him have a teleprompter. if not, he’d have axelbutt in his ear.

he’s actually trying to sell the story that this type of debate is less formal than a townhall. wanna bet his media pimps will tell us he’s right?

oblowme’s just terrified of being asked a question if he hasn’t been told in advance what it is.

  • Hope

    Yes you are.

  • Zee

This moron can’t even spell the BORING “Clintoon” taunt.

  • Zee

    EXCELLENT POINT!

  • so saddened

guess oblowme thinks the actual job of the presidency is easy?

oops, i forgot. he’s not interested in DOING the job, just in BEING president. that’s why he hasn’t actually bothered to, like, learn, and, like, think, and, like, DO anything.

  • james

So, how do you all live with yourselves?

I mean with all the brazenly dishonest statements, personal attacks, and the hate.

How do you live with the hate?
I mean this is America. And if you can’t celebrate a truly remarkable victory by a fellow American and a fellow Democrat, what exactly is it you’re looking for? What do you live for, if not to celebrate America? And moment such as this?

I mean, I understand disappointment. but don’t you take your own values seriously?

I’ve read a a number of Clinton supporters condemning the ‘hate’ on TPM or DailyKos, etc. But there’s nothing anywhere near as ugly and unacceptable, really, as what is on this site, tonight.

Christians don’t hate like that. Americans don’t hate like that. Who are you guys? Really?

  • so saddened

leno’s on nbc. leno’s in la. not surprising.

doesn’t matter – leno’s on my never watch again list.

when he retires, conan will take over and suffer the loss of ratings nbc brought on itself by its reprehensible conduct this year. don’t know conan’s point of view. if he didn’t toe the party line, then it’s a shame. if he did, he deserves it.

doesn’t matter – nbc’s on my never watch again list.

their ratings already suck. may they go to tv oblivion.

We aren’t but we vote in Nov.

Voting against Obama ? Yes we can !!

  • CarR

I would like my future President to have friends that are not full of hate for our country and our citizens, who are not thieves and who are not proud of being similar to Timothy McVeigh. I am not full of hate, I am full of despair and pain that out of all those candidates that stood up there running to be the Democratic nominee we ended up with one who used every sleezeball he could to get ahead and get to the nomination. I am sick because I feel is a phony and not who he pretends to be.

  • Babs

I think we should tell McCain to keep pressing for town hall type meetings with Obama – I heard the Obama campaign was hedging, wonder why??

  • Hope

What’s hateful about observing Obambi’s many mistakes? Name one example that isn’t true. He’s the cause of all your worries, sweetie, not Hillary, not us.

We don’t hate, we found the lve in Barry’s words, we are following his examples and teachings.

Barry taught us to cross party lines for unity, we are doing as Barry demands!

We are going to be GOP’s for a day on Nov 4th, just as Barry asked GOP’s to do in the Primary’s!

This is great, we learned, Barry taught us, and now we feel great we are following the examples put forth by the American dreamer!

We are celebrating, Barry showed us the light to redemption!

  • Orlando Potato

    Good Grief:
are you trying to sabotage the McCain campaign?

  • nickoury

    Good one.

  • Mel

What, you claiming Obama would deceive us, Obama is a catholic, he isn’t into deception, he is the real deal!

Ok, you just threw Hope out the window for me now!

What next, you going to destroy change for me, and unity too, you saying to not follow Bambi and be a GOP for a day on Nov 4th like Bambi did with GOP’s in the Primary’s?

Oh please I so want to follow Bambi’s examples, don’t go ruining it for me, pleaseeeeeeeeeee!

  • getoveryourself

Do you people realize you’re acting EXACTLY like hardcore Bush supporters? ARE you Bush supporters?

  • Obama_is_Weak

Those would reside at the Orange Trash Recycling site.

But thanks for visiting and raise the ratings. NQ loves you. Keep on clicking.

  • nickoury

Thanks. I agree with you completely. I also cannot stand to listen to him speak to audiences, or rather preach at them, which is really what he is doing. oblowme honed his oratory skills at the feet of his master, Wright.

    Elmer Gantry anyone?

  • TeakWoodKite

That didn’t take long Mel! Excellent!

  • Strawberry

Wait, we’re Bush supporters? HUH? Who are we supporting, numbnuts? Hillary asked us to support Bambi and we say “We love ya, Hill, but no.” So how does that make us Hillbots? Shouldn’t we as cultists be willing to drink the Kool-aid (Cringe. One word that needs to fucking die)and do what our great leader tells us to do? No, we’re free thinkers that makeup our own minds and see Obama as at least a poor candidate and at most a danger to national security. Besides after eight years of Bush gaffes, I can’t handle another president that makes me scramble over the couch for the mute button on the remote.

  • rjj

    Consider treatment of:

    Reagan, Dubya, and now Obama.

Compare with that of Bush I, Clinton, Gore.

POTUS has been downgraded ceremonial office.

Capability is not a feature, it’s a bug.

Empty suitness is not a bug, it’s a feature.

  • so saddened

    lol!

  • Strawberry

Actually, have you ever seen Mccain on the Daily Show? He’s very funny off the cuff. I’ve even read that he’s better speaking one on one than giving speeches. Which is why he wants town hall style debates vs. the more traditional ones. Bambi on the other hand…let’s just say I’ll have my remote handy.

  • Percy11

Take a pill James. Calm down.

look at the video with Obama the great fumbling for the ability to form a sentence and complete a thought.

This man is running for the President of the USA …..

Please comment on the topic at hand… the videos.

Thanks for the link. My Mom’s husband, who is an ex-politician, has said many times that he wouldn’t be surprised if the Republicans were the ones behind all of this.

  • Northwest rain

    Susan you nailed it!!!

Obama . . . has to pretend — every minute of every day — to be someone he is not. He is doing an “act.” He’s an actor on a stage. He is playing a role. He is not himself.

We will see glimpses of the “real” Obama when his mask slips — and it will slip and be caught on tape!

No one can keep the mask on for 24/7 — not even the best of actors. Character actors sometimes remain in character — even when the director calls “cut”. Movies come to an end — and the actor can remove the mask.

I have a hunch that we will be seeing some sort of disintegration — this may have already started to happened and that’s why Obama took that “vacation” in the Virgin Islands after Easter.

Shall we start taking bets when and where Obama takes his next “vacation”? Perhaps he needs his meds adjusted — hating takes a lot of energy and Obama and his gang are full of hate — they are also working hard to keep their masks adjusted.

It is so much easier to tell the truth and be yourself — lying take a lot of energy. That why there is such a difference between Hillary and Obama. Hillary is who she is — no illusions.

But some people like the phony — the preacher man in the tent can bring on a drug like high. They know now to speak to the primitive part of the human brain. I was raised in a religious cult and I’ve seen the traveling preacher’s show — I know all the tricks these con men pull. The son of one of the traveling evangelical preachers tried to kill his dad — I guess the kid had too damned much of the preaching phoniness.

People keep saying how Obama is a great orator– NO HE IS NOT. He is just using the tricks of the preacher man trade. (Traveling Preacher man — a Neil Diamond song — but it fits Obama as well.)

I heard Obama’s 2004 speech at the convention — and I was NOT impressed. Same old, same old. I saw him as a con man — and I saw him as dangerous. Like I said I grew up in a religious cult — and I’ve seen flashy preachers like Obama come and go — and they were ALL con men!

Thank you SUSAN — you see past Obama’s mask.

  • Northwest rain

    Christians??

Oh — like the Christians in Obama’s racist church.

Nope stupid — I’m not a Christian — not your kind of Christian.

    Keep RELIGION OUT OF POLITICS!!

    But thanks for the hits!

Also thanks for reminding me why I will NEVER EVER VOTE FOR OBAMA!

In case I forget that Obama is a lazy inadequate male who kicked women to the ground and kicked them.

  • TeakWoodKite

    “dead ender” exhibit.

I have seen this comment several times in the last few days.

When was the last time this phase “dead ender”was in the lexicon?

Seems to me it was when Rumsfield was whining about a vase constantly reappearing on CNN.

Or wasn’t it used to describe Sunni’s or remants of Al Qaeda? So in this context, Hillary supporters are being compared to “terrorists”.

So to all you other “dead enders, keep in mind, it is BO, who thinks 18 million people are “dead enders” and by extention the very kinds of people BO has hung out with for the last 20 years…Ayers? Kalihdi? Dohrn? Marshall? ACORN?

Never thought I would be described as an Iraqi who has quickly discovered those who called themselves “liberators” are looking down at them with contempt. How is that purple thumb working for you?

“Hope is the mother of fools.” Waking the Dead (BBC production)

  • grtphoto

What a f##$%^& crock he is! pretending to be interrupted so he can re think his shitty point. hmmm, who does this remind me of? oh, now I know, Bush. It’s the same tactic Reagan used; in order to avoid a press question he would simply pretend he couldn’t hear the question due to noise, shrug his shoulders to emphasize the point. What a farce this is; he is a joke, a fraud and an incompetent unworthy of the WH.

  • IODINE

Dead ender or insurgents. Remember Cheney and last throes? Insurgents are us.

  • Northwest rain

WOW — his accent is slipping!

His mask and persona he is impersonating (that of a real African American) slipped.

He starts out with an limitation Jesse Jackson rhythm and then I heard just a tiny bit of Hawaiian accent– I’ve not heard his childhood accent slip before.

It wasn’t lack of sleep as he claims in the second clip — his mask slipped. He went off his Black American impersonation and slipped into his old way of talking.

Since Hawaii is remote from the rest of the US — there is a very distinctive accent and I can generally pick up traces in the speech patterns of people who grew up in Hawaii. Years ago I heard Bette Midler on the Diana Shore show, and KNEW instantly that she grew up in Hawaii — she retained that distinctive rhythm for decades after leaving Hawaii.

I’ve lost my accent — however, when I return to Hawaii I instantly slip back into the local way of speaking. Or when I take with friends who also grew up in Hawaii — I slip into my old familiar way of speaking.

Obama seem to on purpose change he speech patterns depending on the group he is speaking to — so he plays roles — sort of lie a Character actor — except different. We know the Character actor is an ACTOR — Obama is supposed to be real. (HA!)

  • Kerry

Has anyone thought that maybe he’s been trying on a subconsious level to sabatoge this- but the media and the party won’t let him?

  • kat in your hat

Of course, it will never be in the news!! Nothing negative about Obama–don’t you dare, that makes you a RACIST.

  • Kat5

Mel – I love it! This is going in my Barky Cut and Paste File, for posterity’s sake. Five thumbs up!

I am a nurse-the word is “inhaler”, not “inhalator”, FWIW. And yes, Barry’s per-formance in the above videos was embarassing- sometimes I feel sorry for him.

  • Northwest rain

byrdlover — you are correct! I knew there was something off about what he said — besides being nearly incoherent!

He is TRYING to recite something — but he has no empathy or understanding or connection with the words.

I expect that Hillary could tell the story and tie it to a REAL person — so that we have empathy on an individual level. Obama is incapable of helping his listeners to have empathy for others — if it’s not about Obama– then he really could care less.

  • noproblama

I agree. Leno’s lowest moment was linking the Eliot Spitzer scandal to Hillary in his nightly insult uh joke. I actually predicted that and won the remote control for that time slot. Haven’t watched him since.

Seems to me I never heard an Obama joke on Letterman either, unless that’s changed recently.

  • noproblama

WE”RE acting like hardcore Bush supporters? You’re the one with the incoherent, insultingly under-qualified candidate to whom you’ve pledged undying love. Sheesh, talk about the pot calling the kettle black.

I feel exactly the same….exactly. Now I feel almost like I’m going to have a seizure when his face appears the screen. The only other politician that has evoked this response in me is George W Bush who also has some very strange speech patterns.

Are we in the Twilight Zone or what?

  • Faustina

These clips are truly scary. His followers think he is this generation’s JFK. I wonder how many of them are familiar with Seymour Hersh’s, “The Dark Side of Camelot.” If Obama starts sniffling alot we should really be worried

He’s weak. He’s never worked for anything before in his life. He’s obviously not the dude what you want at 1600. Working at 1600 ages one terribly. Even for those who work hard.

You cannot find Barry’s records from the Illinois legislature because he didn’t do anything. He wrote not a single article for the HLR. He’s had insiders fix at least two of his elections up to now so he didn’t even have to campaign. Hill really wore him out.

Why say all this? Because we’ve just seen the test of a man. The plastic jesus. And we’ve seen he simply doesn’t have what it takes to do the job. He cannot be commander in chief.

  • EyesOpen

I do not give Obama a pass with an excuse of being too tired and 18 hours a day in a costume. I think it is much more fundamental than that. I just don’t think he knows. I don’t think he knows his own policies, I don’t think he knows how horribly wrong his spiritual mentors words are, I don’t think he knows how to debate issues constructively, I don’t think he knows history, I don’t think he knows Americans.
