After suffering unimaginable torture, suffering and deprivation for 5 years, never knowing whether you’d live or die, people have a driven need for things even they cannot consciously explain; they behave in ways that may seem inexplicable to those who haven’t experienced the same things. I doesn’t have to be PTSD, although I would certainly say that John McCain likely suffered from PTSD after 5 years as a POW. You cannot imagine what that is like.

A very close family friend died after 7 years in the Hanoi Hilton–he tried to escape, was captured and tortured to death. Whenever I visit DC, I visit the Wall to touch his name and remember him.

I’d say if John McCain’s children love him–and obviously they do, since they are following in his footsteps in military service; and his former wife has forgiven him, what else is there to say? People aren’t one-dimensional, and relationships aren’t one-dimensional either. No one should project their own values onto someone else’s marriage. Ask Hillary Clinton. She has been vilified for keeping her marriage together.

Pelosi has literally poisoned her brain.
The Poisoned Brain of Pelosi and the Diseased Brain of Kennedy have given us Obama.

This goes into Obama’s biography a bit more extensively and has some rational comments. To be honest, this was my first observation about Obama.

A Jewish friend asked me what I’d heard of him. This was a little less than a year ago. I said, “He has some exotic background, and they think he’s a closet Muslim. He went to school in Indonesia raised by some hippy atheist mom. Then they said he went to public schoool in Indonesia. Then they said no he didn’t, because we all know those are madrassas. Then he went to Catholic school supposedly for two years, but his records say he was a Muslim. They probably keep poor records anyway. He seems about the furthest thing from a Catholic. I’ll tell you that. I don’t think he’s a Muslim. I don’t think even he knows what he is so fuck that. I’m voting for Ron Paul at this point.”

My friend laughed but the more we went back and forth about the Muslim issue, I could see he was not buying it. He liked Hillary then. He’s European, though, and can’t vote. But that’s Obama: DRAMA DRAMA DRAMA.
