He is as clumsy and nonspecific on this issue as he is on every other. Unless, of course, he’s lifting someone else’s comments and/or positions. He’s willing to tell the listener anything he/she may want to hear. And if that answer won’t do, there’s always another, delivered with a smile and the reminder that questioning him or his flip-flopping responses is Old Style Politics.

But then, we have the unfortunate, unexpected questions/problems. The recent snafu on Johnson, vetting the vetter. Obama stumbles and bumbles his way through it.

Solution? Throw the problematic individual under the bus. Or get him to resign “for the good of the campaign.”

At a debate where he said he would get out of Iraq in 60 days ,Tim(the Bloated)Russert asked him what he would do if Alqueda set up a base after we leave.
Obama’s stupid answer was that he would go back in to Iraq.
I felt this answer was a turning point in the campaign and showed me the Horror of his lack of understanding of the war on terrorism.
McCain responded the next day by reminding us that Alqueda was already in Iraq and that it would be irresponsible to take troops out and then start another war.
I felt this was one of the strongest moments for McCain and when he said we shall never surrender, that was the moment I knew that there was another choice if Hillary were to be cheated of the nomination.
Obama is neither anti-war or pro security of the United States. He is just waiting like Bush for someone to tell him what he is.

AFAIK MoveOn held an online poll – like a typical CNN poll – to see which candidate they should support. Like really early in things. I’ve seen people admit they voted several times.

You can’t control an online poll anyway. If it’s based on cookies you simply clear your cookie cache and vote again. But I’m guessing most punters wouldn’t be that smart. And that means you just click whatever you want over and over again. So there was no control at all. And that means they really didn’t care who won or how they won. So it had to be a sham.

Soros and the Pritzkers have invested at least $5 million personally in Barky through MoveOn. One of the Pritzkers works with MoveOn; the other works with Barky. Do the math. But the math also says all this egregious funding MoveOn get – goes straight to Obama.

Well, MoveOn.org did, just before SuperTuesday (after pretty much all the Democrats other than Clinton and Obama had effectively dropped out), send out 2 e-mails to its “members”, the first asking if the group should endorse a candidate and then asking which candidate should be endorsed with the proviso that only a candidate who received 2/3 of the vote would gain the group’s formal endorsement.
Now, what irritated me the most about this was the fact that of the group’s “3.2 million members” (as it’s pleased to state in virtually every e-mail) fewer than 300,000 voted either to endorse Obama or Clinton. That’s LESS than 10% of the group’s “membership”, and the group obviously (or conveniently) forgot that, of the two candidates following the Betray-Us controversy, Hillary was the one who stood up for the group’s RIGHT to take out such an ad (Obama couldn’t be bothered to vote on the censure measure since it was a “waste” of the Senate’s time).
Admittedly, I didn’t vote on an endorsement; I found it to be absurd. The group should not have taken sides since both candidates’ views were largely the same on practically every single issue that mattered to MoveOn.org as an organization. Either MoveOn.org’s membership is really much less than the group states or, like me, the overwhelming majority of the group’s members didn’t see any real difference or just felt it was a waste of time and energy. (Then again, the MoveOn.org vote was pretty caucusy in its participation level.)

The left’s relentless attacks on Clinton are based almost entirely on her vote for the Use of Force Authorization. Other than that speech, BO has done nothing regarding Iraq. He votes to fund it (except when MoveOn tells him not to), he said in 2004 that ‘his position wasn’t very different from George Bush at this point’ and claimed that he ‘never said’ troops should be withdrawn.

I read an article about how all the Defense contractors are getting sweet access to the Democrat politicians during the convention.

That should give everyone a hint at how committed they are to withdrawing from Iraq.

Question: If Obama wanted to stay and fix things in 2004 when things were going badly, why would he want to leave now that things are starting to improve there?

Thank you for posting this video. We are a country with a third world press or this would have shown up before. Something very frightening is going on here and it isn’t just Obama.

I don’t recognize the Democratic Party anymore and I wonder what will happen at the convention? They want to push this nomination through without a fair vote. What are the real numbers? Not all states have had their conventions so it’s impossible to know and why did the leadership of the Party feel they had to push superdelegates to make a decision? Why did the RBC take four delegates from Sen. Clinton?

I would like to hear from someone who is a Clinton delegate because I want to know if there is pressure and what kind. I was supposed to be a delegate to the county convention, but my name wasn’t on the list. Two weeks after the caucus I was invited to a meeting at the home of the precinct chairman and he still had the blue sign in sheet. When I asked, he said there was no copier at the headquarters and he needed the names.I pushed him on it because I had heard on the news not all precinct had reported and this was several days later. Now he has resigned. I wish I had filed an official complaint, but I doubt it would have helped.

I read a report in the Denver post, at the state convention, they were choosing an at large delegate and called for a voice vote on an Obama supporter and ignored calls for a written vote. What is going to happen in Denver? I managed to get a pass, but my husband is afraid there will be trouble.

Now I read Obama’s campaign is moving the DNC to Chicago and they will “merge” to make a more efficient campaign. But, he isn’t the nominee yet. To Chicago!! What is going on?
