Monday night show concluded, and promo bumped down. Listen to the archived show at any time.
At 9:00 p.m. ET, join host Paulie Abeles for her Monday night show on No Quarter Radio. Tonight, Paulie talks with Dr. Lynette Long (see photo right) about sex trafficking.
Experts estimate that 27 million people are victims of sex trafficking. The National Human Trafficking Resource Center defines sex trafficking as a ‘modern form of slavery’ in which a person (usually young girls and women) are forced to engage in sex acts.
These women and young girls are lured by promises of jobs, marriage or are sometimes sold by parents, husbands or boyfriends.
Last year the US Department of Justice reported 1300 prosecutions. Is that truly the extent of the problem in the US?
Join us on NoQuarter Radio for “Sins of Omission” Monday, August 10th at 9 pm (http://www.blogtalkradio.com/NQR) with guest Dr. Lynette Long, expert on child psychology, as we talk about the scope of the problem and the tragic effects — even for the victims who escape.
