VOTERS RECLAIM THEIR VOICES AND VOW TO “JUST SAY NO DEAL”

Explosion of rogue grassroots organizations coalesces overnight to form Mega-Coalition: JustSayNoDeal.com

- Online, in Washington D.C. and Nationwide– Growing exponentially — individually, but infinitely together in one unifying mission — they are Senator Barack Obama’s gravest concern. On the evening of June 8, 2008, dozens of grassroots organizations and political activists convened a conference call and formed a coalition: Just Say No Deal. Its goal? : To turn the current race on its head and remind voters that all options are on the table this November.

Just Say No Deal is an umbrella organization giving voice to over 80 grassroots organizations, blogs and millions of self- professed PUMAs (Party Unity My A_ _) intent on one mission: NOBAMA! Coalition members are pushing varying agendas and voting strategies, but the factions are united in their unwavering decision to not “fall in line” by supporting Barack Obama.

Concerned citizens have come out of the woodwork to express their distaste for and frustration with party leaders and the outcome of the nominating process. The Just Say No Deal website offers those voters an array of choices to assist in their decision-making process. The coalition will continue to organize in pursuit of its mission of keeping another unqualified candidate from inheriting the Oval Office.

Meanwhile, some info on the Kenyan elections…

“Latest Update on Kenya Elections: Odinga’s Party Wins 3 Seats of 5; UPDATED 1X”
    http://tinyurl.com/48abd6

There are two more seats that need to be contested. Two ministers from Odinga’s ODM were killed in a crash a couple of days ago…so, Odinga may in the future come out on top! I’ll be watching this…

I still like the site, but I’m disappointed I can’t find any commentary on the appearance of Obama’s birth certificate (the subject of the screech of the last few days). Did I miss it? If so, could someone tell me where to look? (Of course, I’m hoping for some explanation like “forged document,” or some such. Because, as I’ve said, this is a really fun site. Regardless, I’m interested in the reaction.)

    Thanks.

From the east coast to the west coast, from sea to shining sea, we are united against Obama. Howard Dean, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Donna Brazille, and all the others, you hijacked democracy on May 31, and we shall not forget.

Maybe you could do the same while Hillary is speakng at the Dem convention in support of Barack.

    It’ll be awfully lonely.

ps: No Deal as New Deal sounds about right — Nationalism will heal the split, New Deal the jobs.
Hillary was doing that — strong plans — Hillary McCain would be unstoppable, my god. Add in Colin Powell and Condi? Unstoppable. Here was what I wrote for Hillary once. It’s important because it shows why we need some jobs around here — it has videos of poverty in Indiana. FDR is the way to go. Heal the country’s heart. Nationalism birthed from Despair

I’m not sure about McCain. I know a Democratic Congress will keep his hands tied, and it’s only for 4 years, but I’m not sure.

I called my local elections office (Sonoma County CA)and was told a Hillary write-in wouldn’t be counted.

I can’t stand Nader after what he did to Gore.

    So, I’m considering Ron Paul.

    Any suggestions?

The numbers are exploding. The frustration and anger are real. When you turn your back on the traditional base, the people you could always count on, this is what you get: Bye, Bye Sweetie.

Voters rarely respond well to crass insults or being told by senior leadership types to take a hike. We got it. The “New Party” doesn’t need deadenders like us. The working class is out; the educated and urbane are top dogs now.

Problem with that is? Once you say it, you can’t turn on the dime after a primary, and then say: Oh, but we didn’t mean it. We were simply playing with you. Come on home now. Let’s make nice, and btw could you send us money.

It’s hard stuffing that genie back in the bottle.

Sorry about that, but we’ve found a new home. We’re picking out the furnishings now. Without you and your candidate.

Believe it or not there are a great amount of people out there that voted for HRC that either do not have a computer (yes it is true) or do not have the time to cruise the blogs to get the information that millions of HRC supporters are not going to vote for BO. (at least I hope that it is millions). They only get their news from their home page (if they have a puter) or from local or cable news channels or the newspaper. They will vote for BO only because HRC said she supported him. The point is PUMA PAC etc has to get the word out through other means because you know that they, the traditional news outlets, will not report about the coalition. I would start with any and all of the editorial boards that endorsed HRC and stated that she got a raw deal, like the SD Argus or the paper in PA owned by the Republican who endorsed HRC.

  • alee21

McCain is a centrist…not far right leaning unlike Obama who is very left leaning. McCain has experience, unlike Obama who in 2006 said himself he wouldn’t have enough experience to run.

Obama is practically an unknown, and the deals he is proposing will literally break the US. McCain, being a centrist, won’t follow the current economic plans that are breaking us. Obama wants to level the economic playing field. Just think about that.

I’ll never vote for Obama. Leveling the playing field has never worked in any government…it’s a sign of decline.

  • SueB.

A spine implant might help, as well. ;)

  • BARB

I was channel flipping earlier this afternoon and came across a supposedly new poll that says that Obama is ahead of McCain by 7 points among White men, and is ahead of McCain among Hispanics by something like 30 points. Said the only group he was not ahead of McCain was the White Suburban Women, and it was very close. I think we are being subject to a lot of lies. White men and Hispanics prefer Obama? I don’t think so. What did they do, go to Obama campaign HQ and take the polls there?

  • DirOfTheObv

I agree 100%. It’s a known fact in research that the moment you release polls it skews the opinions of those who hear the results. I think they subtly try to manipulate people who are not independent thinkers into going along with a crowd.

Also, most of the polls you see, check out the sample size. Rasmussen will repeatedly release a so-called NATIONAL poll in which the sample size is 1,000 people. I’m sorry but 1,000 people is not a large enough sample size to get a true reading. It really needs to be about 10,000…but 5K would be nice.

So, when you read or hear the polls check for that sample size. Realclearpolitics.com always shows the major polls and they show sample sizes.

Additionally, it’s too early to tell really. Period.

But your right about the white male segment…there’s no way. I sit in a chat room full of white males, all with a common interest, and they DESPISE Obama.

    NOBAMA!!!

  • Adrian Gillies

    Pagan Power;

I got that emailed to me…thanks for posting it.

  • kat in your hat

    To Barb:

Yes, we know how the primary season went. Anticipate many women supporters of Obama on MSNBC and CNN, etc, threatening Roe v. Wade and how you MUST vote for Obama, also anticipate fake polls and many fake articles about how the women and hispanics are rushing to Obama in droves (yeah right), and then soon enough you will hear about all those rural whites in small towns loving Obama–yeah riiight, and then you will see polls about how Obama is winning all the swing states, and then all the other states, including republican, and then you’ll hear that the entire planet wants him for president, then the moon people and Martians will endorse Obama as well, immediately followed by the galaxy lord, then finally the great Universe maker–GOD–will officially endorse Obama…anyway, that’s what all the fakey changey polls and wackaloonytoon media will want you to believe. Don’t believe the hype. Nobama.

First, we need a logo. One logo that is easily recognizable and used by the entire movement. It takes at least 7 visual impressions for something to sink into a person’s memory.

Then we need a marketing campaign that includes direct mail, bulk emails, and bandit signs for all PUMAs. All should include the logo and maintain a constant theme as image continuity is essential for brand recognition.

Signage, posters, bumper stickers should also maintain image continuity and should be made available at every web site

  • http://www.gigglechick.com gigglechick

actually, I am a designer. I can whip up some ideas (feel free to contact me via my website if you’d like to discuss)

  • m stevens

Do not be fooled, this is not about Hillary. The lot of you are prejudice. Good riddance, go to McCain and have America continue to decline.

  • m stevens

It is said that Hillary’s supporters are low class and uneducated. Statement’s like this proves it.

  • m stevens

God you are an idiot. The man is an American. It amazes me how low you so called women will stoop.

  • m stevens

How pathetic this is getting. Destroy the party for the insane idealism you guys spread. This is a shameful time for Americans. This makes Hillary look bad in the eyes of others real Americans

  • m stevens

How sad you are and your husband obviously is not a real man. ROAR THAT!!!!

  • http://www.gigglechick.com gigglechick

—– I love the fact that you have rogue possessive apostrophes in your comment saying that we’re low-class and uneducated. Perhaps you should be cracking open an “English for Dummies” book instead of trolling on here m stevens. We ARE educated AND our brains aren’t soaking in the Obama Kool-Aid and rotting in the sugar —–

  • m stevens

This proves what I said this group is a bunch of prejudice goofs. I thought the KKK was long since dead.

  • m stevens

The group you sat in front . Were they wearing white sheets? You sicken me. So much for uplifting America. No wonder the outside world has no respect for us anymore.

  • m stevens

Do you seriously think that you guys are all that. I think not there are just as many of us Obama supporters as there are of you. I would have voted for Hillary either way, but now you are making us hate Hillary. PUMA (PUKA) is doing Hillary a great injustice. You will make it so no Democrate will win and we need to win the Whitehouse this year. Republicans think that Democrats are self destructive and you are proving them wrong. I am embarrassed to be a white woman right now. God Bless You all, because with hate spewing the lot of you are going to hell. How is this setting an example of good will for your daughters. We need to be able to live peacefully and without prejudice.

  • m stevens

Remember Jim Jones and his followers. Women being lead by a man (Bowers). How sexist is that? This whole thing is obsurd.

  • m stevens

That is not the only reason. Low class and uneducated comes to mind. Oh petty is a thought

RCIS BS MBA MHA PHD FACHE white women for Obama 08

  • m stevens

Get the hint no ones is listenting or cares. Please go vote for McCain the party is better off without you party poopers.

  • m stevens

Another thing , Obama has not done anything to warrant this hatred. Hillary did not have to endorse him. Why would you want to put Bill back in the White House? He made a mockery of it the last time. He is still sexually exploiting women to this day. Did he not embarass the country enough for you the last time. How can you stand behind a woman who lets her husband get away with kind of behavior. You would have kicked your husband to the curb a long time ago. And by the way is it not sexist the way the left is treating Michelle Obama or does it only count when it is white women ?Does that make it any less hurtful?. If you think not then we have bigger problems than Hillary vs Obama. Let’s begin to heal, this hatred is not helpful. I have also held women in great regard because are the healers and the ones with good sense. Now I wonder.

  • DirOfTheObv

NEWSFLASH…Obama’s policies and his friends are not DEMOCRAT…They’re MARXIST!

  • DirOfTheObv

How can you stand with a party who took the Uncommitted Votes in MI and awarded them to Obama when there were other candidates STILL IN THE RACE on that day? And even SOME of those uncommitteds would/could have still come to the decision of Hillary Clinton.

How exactly is it that we are all suppose to be healed by the racist rants of Rev. Wright. Brought to us by OBAMA. BUT FOR Obama’s association with him, no one would have heard his tired BS!! Obama has yet to come out and forceful CHASTISE the blacks who are espousing such hateful beliefs and prejuidices. His remarks about it have been NO WHERE NEAR as strong as the remarks he makes about racism and hate against blacks.

These people are all looking to him, and he could help change at least, that element of it all, if he would just speak strongly to it.

No resentful leaving of his church that takes weeks, No reluctant giving up of his connection to Wright’s ideas. But an all out “full throated” telling of them to KNOCK IT OFF IT AIN’T GOING TO GET US UNITY OF THE RACES!!

  • felix polanski

Obama actually gave a fairly strong speech in response the the Reverend Wright controversy (which seemed a bit of a non-issue to me) that honestly and openly discussed the racial tension that has been ever present in this country and on both sides of the fence. It would have been both a pander and dishonest to completely dismiss Reverend Wright and the church where he was pastor. It would be both overkill and racist to insist that “Blacks need to knock it off” in order to appease white fears of a black candidate. The tension exists and that needs to be accepted and the roots of that tension need to be addressed. Only that would get you ‘unity of the races’ because only that would address the fears and prejudices exist in every community.

  • ulahane

I respect your opinion but strongly disagree. That speech was a case study of equivocation; more Nixon’s “Checkers” speech than King’s “I have a dream.”

His infamous comparison between an alleged private comment by his Grandmother and the very public comments of Wright was especially weak.

Let me just take one sentence as an example of his carefully chosen words.

“Most working- and middle-class white Americans don’t feel that they have been particularly privileged by their race.” The word “feel” is the key word here. Sen. Obama apparently could not bring himself to say that they haven’t been privileged by their race. Here he is saying that Whites, even working-class ones, have been privileged. Tell that to the impoverished coal miner in West Virginia.

The whole speech is filled with similar, carefully worded, equivocations.

  • Felix Polanski

    A) I wouldn’t place the impoverished coal miners in the category of ‘most whites’ however it would be folly to suggest that most white people do not have some advantage in a portion of their life over people of color. Be it in the eyes of the law, the corporate world, economics or just simply facing prejudice less of a regular basis.

I believe he was pointing out that regardless of how small such a difference could be, most average white people don’t feel that as a privilege because it’s daily life and not some great gift. But it’s noticeable to the minority in it’s absence and this can breed resentment for minorities and whites at the same time.

Now I didn’t place that speech in the same category as Dr. King but it was honest and tried to broach the subject of prejudice on both sides more so than most people of today care to admit to in public.

  • ulahane

You make some very intelligent observations here, but I disagree with your underlying premise. In this age of affirmative action, a poor Black person has a significant advantage over an equally poor White person.

As long as their is unequal treatment for individuals based on their race, resentment will exist. This was true in the age of segregation and is true now. Obama only sees half the picture. All discrimination must end. Racism is destructive regardless of the race but I don’t think Obama understands that.

  • DirOfTheObv

When Mr. Obama reaches for priviledge he might just look to the man that set him afire with his endorsement….Ted Kennedy.

BTW, When Ted became ill did he go to Cuba, or to Canada, or to England? NO, he went to DUKE.

  • http://nobho.blogspot.com/ Johnny at Work

I watched Cristi Adkins on Hannity and Combs, and I am glad to see that PUMA has a quality spokesperson.

Combs caught Cristi a little guard a little so I want to offer a little help for when those questions come up again.

Combs made the point that Obama is closer on Hillary’s positions than McCain, specifically on, Roe v Wade, Equal Right for Gays, Energy Independence, Iraq, therefore anyone who supported Hillary should support Obama.

Firstly, ALL of those issues are trumped by the fact that an unqualified male was promoted over an extremely qualified female (we are just ending an experience with an unqualified male in the Presidency, we don’t need another). This sets back woman’s issues in the workplace 50 years. When the democratic party promotes unqualified men over extremely qualified women, how can they say they will promote the rights of any minority?

Secondly, McCain IS CLOSER to Hillary on ALL of those issues than is Obama.

    1) On Roe v Wade, The Ultra Conservative W. Bush was not able get a majority on the Supreme court that would overturn Roe. McCain is a Moderate who has a track record of opposing his own party and working with Democrats, and will work with them for a fair minded Justice. That is why McCain was John Kerry’s first choice for a running mate in 2004. The conservative justices Roberts, Scalia, Alito, Thomas, and Kennedy are all on record as committed to stare decisis, which precludes overturning previously decided law such as Roe. (not so much Scalia, but I’d throw him in there anyway)
    2) Obama and the DNC has demonstrated that they are not for equal rights for Women, how can they be for equal rights for gays? Obamas church of 20 years supports the nation of Islam and Louis Farrakhan, which concludes that gays are a product of the Devil. Obama has members of the Nation of Islam on his staff. McCain while opposed to Gay marriage, is for Gay civil Unions, which will give Gays court recognized rights similar to marriage. It is a step in the right direction, that a majority of the US will get behind. The majority of the US will not get behind Gay Marriage, and is a position and issue that will cost the Democrats the election as proven in 2004.
    3) McCain IS FOR energy independence, and he can articulate it profoundly better than Obama. McCain has enumerated the strategic and domestic reasons on why the US needs to be energy independent. McCain was the first of a growing number of Republicans and Conservatives who recognize the dangers of global warming. McCain has a plan with tax incentives to develop alternative sources of energy, Wind, Solar, Hydrogen, Ethanol, and to reduce and conserve US energy consumption.
    4) Obama himself throughout the campaign shouted that Hillary was closer to McCain on Iraq. And, Obama is all over the map regarding Iraq. He has flip flopped more than the pancakes at a church fundraiser. In 2002 he gave a speech that opposed going to war, in 2004 he said if he had been in the Senate during the vote authorizing the use of force, he probably would have voted for it, in 2006 he said he was never against pulling out the troops and said he was never for a timetable to remove the troops.

The problem with Obama is no one can no where he stands on anything. He flip flops so fast, it creates the wind for John Kerry’s flip flopping wind surfing.

Obama belonged to a Church for 20 years but he claims he did not share the church’s values. He belongs to the Democratic Party, how can we know he shares Democratic values?

clintonsformccain was registered May 15 to The Republican National Committee (see for yourselves at register.com, whois lookup).

Sorry, ditto types. This information is now being spread out across the net and has been passed on to a number of significant media organizations (the story was originally broken by Wired magazine).

  • blatham

    But aside from that…

Being such strong supporters of Hillary, I know many of you will be just tickled pink to reflect on John McCain’s deep respect for women and for Hillary as demonstrated in:

    1) laughing when asked “How do we beat the bitch.” I mean, how funny is that?

    2) referring to his own wife (in front of at least five witnesses) as a “c**t”. Straight talk or what?

    3) his wonderful, respect-filled yuk, “Why is Chelsea so ugly? Janet Reno is her father.”

I mean, you can understand why women will just rush to vote for a fellow like John.

  • Mike Edmund

To think that McCains positions are closer to Clintons than Obama’s is complete and utter lunacy. Have you not read their platforms? And if you are so pro Hillary why do you not subscribe to the fact that she is now supporting Obama? A vote for McCain is a vote to doom the future of all Americans present and future generations as well. Please move from an emotional position to a pragmatic position.

  • http://www.clintons4mccain.com So, the News Media is doing their job?

After having attended the press conference with Larry Sinclair today:

Larry Sinclair came across as a very likable, credible man. Give the circumstances, its hard to imagine how he could have done better.

He started out by saying he has a criminal record, used drugs, and was in prison, but that was about 20 years ago. He is now 46 and on disability from a construction job he held a few years ago.

His story had 3 very important aspects that would normally gather tremendous press coverage for a presidential candidate:

    1. He said when he was visiting Chicago in 1999 he asked the limo driver if he could find someone to show him around. The limo driver introduced him to Barack Obama by name, and he joined Sinclair in the limo. Obama then bought cocaine for the 2 of them (using Larry’s $250) and Larry had 2 lines while Obama smoked crack. I believe that is a felony.

    2. He said this took place in the back of a limo, and then Larry performed fellatio. This info was presented in a very non-sensational, matter of fact way.

He knew Obama’s name but didn’t know he was a state senator. In 2004, while living in Mexico, he saw Obama give the keynote at the Dem National Convention and realized who he was.

Last year, he heard Obama claim not to have used drugs since college and he called the campaign to suggest Obama should admit to drug use in 1999. He said he did not mention anything about sex.

He got numerous calls back from the Choir Director of Trinity church, who was clearly a confidante ot Obama’s. It became clear to Sinclair that they were lovers. He wanted reassurance that Larry wasn’t going to talk about the sexuality issues, and Sinclair said he assured him of that.

    3. The choir director, an openly gay man, was shot and killed execution style last Dec 23. Sinclair believes he was killed to keep him quiet.

When asked why anyone should believe him, Sinclair said: “I don’t ask you to believe me. I ask you to do your job. Check out what I tell you and discover for yourself if it is true. Sprint will provide you with the records of my cell phone. The murder of the choir director has been reported in Chicago newspapers. Chicago police have his cell phone and you can check to see that he called me several times. You should also ask for Obama’s cell phone records for the times that we were together.” He also provided the name of the limousine driver (Paramjit Multani) and other info so that reporters could check out his statements.

I have spoken with credible people in Chicago, who say this story is entirely consistent with the story on the streets.

There’s a story about Larry Sinclair taking a polygraph test, some of which he passed and some of which he didn’t. However, I know from my professional work that polygraphs are questionable evidence, which is why they are not considered proof in a court of law.

I should mention that I had seen Larry Sinclair’s YouTube video and thought he seemed sleazy and pathetic. In person today, he seemed completely different. He basically said “I’ve made mistakes, and I’m not political, but I don’t like the way I’ve been trashed by the Obama campaign and the media that support him and I want to stand up for what I know to be true. This is it. Now I’m done.”

When asked if he was “in love” with Obama or if he thought he was charismatic, he said he was not in love and that when he met Obama he at first did seem charismatic but that it was soon obvious that he was a phony and that’s not the real person.

  • UKforDems

    Johnny at work indeed.

For those Clintonites claiming the media was biased against them – the Rev Wright issue was one prime example of why that was not the case. Who did not expect that a Candidate of Afro American origin would not have “The Nation of Islam” thrown at him (remember Jessie Jackson)? (Having it thrown at him by a Democrat is a bigger disgrace but we can forgive that in the interest of accepting Hillary ran a “tough campaign).

Back to Wright. There is nothing somebody who is a tru Democrat can crticise him about from the often repeated comments. Ok he sounds like a scary angry black man, but the bigots on here sound far worse.

9/11 – chickens coming home to roost? The 9/11 Commission said that. 9/11 was blowback for US policies in the Middle East.

The US Government used crack cocaine – that it sold in black townships – to fund the Contras.

As for AIDs being too extreme – what on Earth was Tuskegee if not the deliberate infection of the black community with a sexually transmitted disease?

As for pointing out that the Obama church is “anti gay” – so is every single religion in the World, with the possible exception of liberals in the Anglican Church and Buddhists. Churches also tend to be somewhat against adultery; although McCain amongst others seem to forget that.

  • ulahane

    Tuskegee

In 1932, when the study started, standard treatments for syphilis were toxic, dangerous, and of questionable effectiveness. Part of the original goal of the study was to determine if patients were better off not being treated with these toxic remedies and to recognize each stage of the disease in hopes of developing treatments aimed for each one. Doctors recruited 399 black men who already had syphilis, to study the progress of the disease over the course of 40 years. A control group of 201 healthy men was studied to provide a comparison.

The 9/11 Commission. Read the report again; that’s not what it said.

  • blatham

Good grief. Now clintons4mcain, PUMA et al are pushing Larry Sinclair. You guys are too predictable.

Sinclair’s biography, though, may get in the way of that pitch: Public records and court filings reveal that he has a 27-year criminal record, with a specialty in crimes involving deceit. The record includes forgery charges in two states, one of which drew Sinclair a 16-year jail sentence. The Pueblo County, Colo., Sheriff’s Office also has an outstanding warrant for Sinclair’s arrest for forging an acquaintance’s signature and stealing her tax refunds.

    http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0608/11164.html

Sinclair arrested, and other notes from the Press Club

A footnote to the story of Larry Sinclair, the gadfly whose long criminal record I wrote about this morning: He was arrested by Washington, D.C., police after his press conference there today, two officials at D.C.’s First District station confirmed to Politico.

Sinclair is wanted in Colorado on theft and forgery charges, but police officials I spoke to wouldn’t discuss the charges. Reason’s David Weigel first reported the arrest.

Avi swung by Sinclair’s press conference at the National Press Club today, an utterly strange scene in which the highlight came from Sinclair’s spokesman. Montgomery Blair Sibley, whose law license has been suspended, explained why he was wearing a kilt by saying that it was more comfortable for “those of us on the other side of the genital spectrum.”

At the Press Club, Avi also ran into Will Bower, a sometimes-Huffington Post blogger who founded “Party Unity, My Ass” — a group for die-hard Clinton supporters that are now backing McCain — and was invited by the McCain campaign last weekend to meet with the presumptive Republican nominee, and called Sinclair’s story “worth exploring.”

  • I like my house

How can letting McCain getting into office help Clinton in ANY way. Under him she cannot accomplish anything in the senate, and it is very hard to get elected to the presidency without being able to say that you got those big bills passed you were so adamant about during the previous primary. If anything we need a democrat to promote labor unions, womens rights, and getting us out of the war. If we can’t stop the gridlock then the blame may shift to the failed congress. If the economy keeps going down hill then the blame will also be on the democratic congress and, by association, Hillary Clinton. This is alot of fuss over a candidate with almost NO major differences in policy. Even if you don’t like Obama would you be willing to sacrifice supreme court justices for differences in personality. Since Clinton will be in the senate writing the laws her version will probably be the one passed anyways. I personally do not think that this country has the luxury right now to make an example of the democratic party by putting McCain into office. I’m not from the richest family. I’m white working class and I don’t want gas to get so high I can’t make payments, or to see all our jobs go over seas including my own. This is not the time for this in fighting. Sacrifice Clinton on the altar of personal pride and vanity, vote for McCain, but remember you reap what you sow.

I can’t believe this. What is the point of these organizations? You aren’t doing anything! I’ve read many of your websites and all you are doing is complaining that Hillary didn’t win. And because you didn’t win the game, you are going to “leave”the party and vote for McCain? The person who Hillary herself said NOT to vote for? What is wrong with this picture? Am I too stupid to understand that you followed this woman, listened to what she said, fell in love with what she said, etc; and now decide to stop listening to her and vote FOR McCain? What are you trying to accomplish? Are you trying to undo what Hillary is trying to do? Is this really McCain/republican party work to get him into office? I’m not trying to change people’s opinions, I’m trying to understand why people who follow and support someone for such a long time, will try to unravel everything that person stood for!!! I must be too stupid to understand a concept like that. I’m sorry for wasting your time, you seem to be doing that well on your own.

Obama supporters still don’t get it. Insulting remarks, constant accusations of racism, and statements like ‘just get over it’, simply antagonize those of us who voted for Clinton. It’s the same tactics you over zealous Obama supporters used from day one. I also think Obama was selected, rather than elected, and the bias media has acted shamefully. I also don’t think Obama is qualified to be President, and like millions of other Clinton supporters, I will not vote for Obama.

  • Gina

THE PUMAS ARE TOTALLY JUSTIFIED …

    1. Contrary to what Obamabots say …
Obama and Hillary were in a dead heat,
when the DNC pressured Hillary into not
only conceding, but campaigning for Obama.
    2. Obama is once again in a dead heat, but now
with McCain, even though Obamabots act like
Obama has already won (like they did in the
primaries against Hillary). So, this means that
half of the Democrats, and all the Republicans
(3/4 of America) dIdn’t want Obama. Plus, he
didn’t even win the popular vote, and refused a
    revote in Michigan and Florida.
    3. Obama has the thinnest resume in politics, and
he won state legislature and Senator by
disqualifications of his opponents, not by earned
    experience, or votes.
    4. Obama’s one claim to fame is being a community
organizer, where he boasts of registering voters.
Then he took their votes away from them, by
disqualifying his opponents on technicalities, prior
    to the election.
    5. Obama’s mentor of 20 years, was an anti-American
racist … not to mention other unsavory associations.
    6. Obama is simply buying the election, since he’s
good at fund raising … hardly a qualification to be
    President of the United States.
    7. The media never vetted Obama, and they are
giving him a free ride, plus more than twice the
print and air time as McCain, as they did against
    Hillary.
    8. 90% of blacks are voting for Obama, because he is
black, while the campaign gained ground by
    accusing most opponents of racism.
    9. Obamabots were, and are extremely nasty and sarcastic
towards Hillary supporters, as well as McCain supporters.
    10. Pumas should be applauded for putting country before party …
especially a party that did not represent them, and a party
which highjacked the nomination for Obama.

  • ScholarGrl

just an observation from a former Clinton supporter, particularly to posts such as the “justifications” by Gina…

this all reads very much like republican trolling. there are no facts laid out, and instead the “justifications” are just a lot of right wing talking points that are entirely inaccurate and utterly incomplete in their accusations.

very amusing to see it essentially end with calling Obama supporters “extremely nasty and sarcastic” and insinuating that they put party before country.

pot kettle black. who’s nasty and sarcastic? hmmm?

sincere supporter of moving this country forward with intelligent, meaningful and substantive dialogue and issues… or just a typical internet troll using old and tired talking points as a divisive tactic? you decide.

i thought this whole nobama and puma thing was a joke when i first heard about it, and after looking it up i’m guessing it is either a joke or an elaborate trolling. either way, it’s purpose doesn’t appear to be about helping the national discourse on the real issues and policies needed to help this country.

other than reminding me of Rovian right wing political tactics, puma kind of reminds me of the media that needs a good lecturing to from Jon Stewart(look it up).

  • Phyllis

You PUMA people are pathetic. You were so in love with the idea of a woman as president and now that you can’t have what you want you are spewing more venom and hatred and LIES than I have ever heard. The hatred that projectile-vomits from your comments is incredible. If you love Hillary so much then why are you betraying her by voting for someone she told you NOT to vote for? “For all of you that have supported me, Thank You. But if you feel so bitter, angry or disappointed that you would vote for the Republican nominee or encourage others to vote for him, then you are betraying me and everything that I stand for.”

If she that, she would prove that she cares about the USA more than the HRC. That would earn back my respect.

I would have voted for her. I would have worked on her campaign. And no, Obama is not a Muslim. Would you please get with it as far as the facts and quit repeating things that have been proven to be lies. It’s funny how you PUMA people seem to think that it’s okay for you to lie but not for the rest of us to tell the truth

I love how you all refer to Obama as DIVINE ONE and MESSIAH and THE CHOSEN ONE and you all bow down to the GRANDPUMA. hahahaha. suckers. I am going to laugh my ass off when he turns out to be a Republican that has just swindled you all in to voting GOP because you are all a bunch of titty babies that can’t face life’s lesson that someone wins & someone loses. How ashamed Hillary must be of all of you- blaming the loss on the fact that she is a woman and was treated unfairly- that sets us back eons! You should be more proud, ladies, that because of your struggles & fights, I do not even see gender inequality in my generation. You should not set us back by going against your value system to vote for the first skirt that comes along. All of you have been harping on Obama’s inexperience yet you are not at all concerned that she is the least experienced and you just learned of her? I would love to be her friend, take some child rearing tips from her and learn about her 20 months in government, but come on- don’t be swindled by this gimmick! How shameful- how very shameful! I would like someone to give me 5 ways that Hillary was treated poorly by Obama and the DNC so I can try to understand you all a little more. Can anyone please help me with this?

For a wonderfull article about Gov. Palin, go to the website: crosscut.com and scroll down to John Carlson’s article about how Sarah would be presented if she were a Democrat. A wonderful parody.
