That's about what you are worth.

Why not answer my statement? Will this be on the LIE page? Or does the OB staff pick out the statements they call LIES and then answer them their way?

Wake Up.

"He's not the Tony Rezko I knew", Ob's comment upon hearing Tony "his Homepartner" Rezko was found guilty of 16 counts. His biggest fundraiser his whole political life is found guilty of corruption.
Take that one to your LIE page.

How much you getting paid to post your garbage here?

I've been following Evelyn Pringle's series on the Illinois Combine and it does appear that Dems Blago and Obama were participants. Of course, due to U.S. Attorney Pat Fitzgerald's efforts, we know Republican Governor Ryan was also a participant. The Rezko trial testimony reveals that Dennis Hastert, Bob Kjellander and Karl Rove were involved as well. The exposure of the Illinois Combine by the efforts of former U.S. Senator Peter Fitzgerald is also interesting. See this 2/12/04 article:

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,111159,00.html

U.S. Senator Peter Fitzgerald was forced to announce (in that magical year of 2003) that he was retiring after one term in Illinois "to spend more time with his family." Actually, it was because he wasn't interested in participating in the Illinois Combine. He made enemies out of his fellow Republicans for his opposition to proposed pork projects, including his

refusal to support Hastert’s efforts to secure a glut of federal funding for the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library, located in Illinois. Hastert pulled rank to secure the money, and Fitzgerald criticized him publicly for it.

Sen. Fitzgerald’s final sin was to nominate someone outside the state of Illinois to serve as U.S. Attorney for the northern district of Illinois, based in Chicago. In a 2002 hit piece on Fitzgerald, Chicago Sun-Times columnist Steve Neal scolded, “[t]he junior senator doesn't think that anyone who voted for him is qualified to sit in the U.S. attorney's chair on South Dearborn Street.

Well, not quite. Instead of rewarding an aspiring local attorney for his political support with the nomination, as is custom in the U.S. Senate, Fitzgerald was more concerned about the ongoing investigation of then-governor and fellow Republican George Ryan, and wanted to be sure an aggressive prosecutor independent of local politics was assigned to the case. So he went out of state and nominated prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald (no relation), who indicted Ryan on corruption charges last December
.

And who, with the use of AxelRovian tactics, won the 2004 election for Peter Fitzgerald's seat in the senate? Why, Senator Obama, of course. So it would appear that the Illinois Combine is going national.
