Well Obama should be ahead at this point in time, just as Dukakis was well ahead of Bush I at this point in the campaign. He will likely pull further ahead until after the Democratic Convention. Then 527s and RNC ads start hammering him.

The AOL polls are, unfortunately, meaningless. They aren’t scientific. Does anyone really think that Obama could loose DC? The polls to watch are the ones of swing states in Sept. and Oct.

You obviously did not watch McCain on the night of the South Dakota and Montana primaries, or his Town Hall meeting last night. John McCain has always been his own man. ANYONE WHO SURVIVES what he did, doesn’t just blindly follow anyone.
