I believe Cokie wasn’t a regular on the msm during the primaries (as I remember), but toward the end of the primaries she did come out strongly against the misogyny aimed at HRC at the time.

Kathleen-I agree totally. I used to enjoy and respect Cokie until I saw her and the many other media women remain silent on Hillary & Sarah. Cokie had plenty of help from her family to get where she is. Now she comes out with her book on the “sisterhood”. Where was she when those two women were getting the treatment? Needless to say, I won’t be buying a copy.

Yeah, Paulie, I would like to know where was Cokie (and the rest of the women journalist) when the MSM was attacking Hillary and Sarah Palin with vitriolic sexism/misogyny on a daily basis?!

Women can’t get into power if women in the media don’t speak out in defense of those women running for office, when they are being unfairly attacked and their credibility undermined by half truths and outright lies.

The men (and women) of the media had no problem protecting and defending obama, even when he didn’t deserve it.

This huge disparity between men and women, when it comes to reporting about them may be one of the primary reasons women aren’t in power.
