Aragon, of Antioch CA was buried today in a Funeral with full Military honors, befitting a hero. There were several members of the media (from various agencies) present from start to finish. I am not sure how much will actually make the final cut. Members of The Patriot Sentinel Riders, American Legion Riders and Patriot Guard Riders were present, riding as an honor guard for the family. Interested bystanders lined the streets from the church to the cemetary, most waving the american flag. Zero anti-military protesters were in evidence. California Highway Patrol and City of Antioch Police blocked intersections and escorted the assembled mourners to the cemetary. The families last act of saying good bye to John was a release of doves. It was, to say the least a beautiful ceremony. SGT John D. I feel that Hillary was able to make her own mind up (and truthfully, I wanted to go to war back then as well. Not because of the media. But because I was pissed off.) and I'm glad that he got to see Luke graduate. He'd just had to put Big Russ into an assisted living home a few weeks ago, which, to some might be cold, but, I take comfort in the fact that he had taken care of things that would be affected in the future. 58 years old is way too young... Perhaps for many in the world of politics they did not always agree with him and how he interviewed certain people but all in all he was a good guy.
