Wow, I get to post first.

    YES, YES, YES
    PUMA

We aren’t sore losers as Hillary won. If traitor, Dean also steals, Sen. Clinton’s role call, I say it’s time for a National Strike.

    • Democrat

How did Hillary win? Even with full seating of FL and MI, she wouldn’t have had the majority of pledged delegates and that’s what mattered the most to superdelegates.

      • http://obamafact.blogspot.com/ Mel

Please provide a link to the fact that of what you claim, otherwise, you are simply spreading around unverifiable facts around and we can’t have that now can we?

        • Democrat
          • Democrat

And, of course, the numbers only improve for Obama with the add-ons.

and they have all voted, did I miss the convention, geez long nap this afternoon, is it August 31st already?

              • Teakwood

Mel, Your site is well done.

Do you know what airport that picture of BO and his dad was taken?

          • standard

            And the fraudulent caucuses?

            • Democrat

If they were fraudulent, then why didn’t the Clinton campaign say a peep?

You’d think she’s would if she thought that.

              • WildChild

The BOBO boys would have accused her of being a racist

                • Democrat

You think Clinton was intimidated? Huh. I sure didn’t.

What an odd claim for a Clinton supporter to make.

                  • GoHillary

                    don’t feed the troll.

                  • WildChild

I didn’t say Hillary was intimidated. I said the BOBO boys would have called her a racist. It’s absolutely amazing the depths that your beloved went to, to win. THey called hillary a racist. They said when wanted him murdered, and all with BOBO’s consent.

      • blueasthesky

The most dubious claim you make is that the majority of pledged delegates is “what mattered most to superdelegates.” I know that’s the Obama spin, but do you have anything to back that up? I recall Nancy Pelosi saying something about how the supers should vote for whoever had the most pledged delegates, but she retracted that a few days later. I’ve read and heard lots and lots of interviews with supers, and most of them were saying they were to exercise their best judgement.

        • Democrat

There were lots of articles saying this the week Obama clinched. One was in Politico, the other the NY Times, also Newsweek, Time, etc.

Fowler, a Cliton super, thought that if Clinton could be just a bit ahead she might convince them to overturn the pledged delegates. But even if FL and MI hadn’t been docked at all, it wasn’t anywhere near close enough for that strategy to work.

          • blueasthesky

I think you’re misreading those articles, the same way that you misread Obama’s Iraq policy.

          • GoHillary

Yes but you thief, you stole those delegatesdid you not? Now you want to tell us you did not need them? Go boil your head.
Don’t feed this troll, he is here to create disruption.

      • Seattle Moss

One reason why I won’t be voting democrat this year is because of how their nominating process was exposed for all to see.
Like looking under a shiny rock and seeing a nest of maggots.
Neither of them has got the nomination.
Neither of them got enough votes.
Proportional delegation, caucuses,MI,FL, and super delegates have finally made me see the light of what the democrat party really represents at it’s core.

        MARXISM!!!

        • Democrat

What do you have against proportional representation? It’s more democratic than winner take all and it’s the most common method among democracies for picking representatives.

          http://www.proportional-representation.org/

          • WildChild

not so. Hillary won Ohio by ten points yet only picked up six delegates. With Ohio’s pot of 166 delegates, a ten point spread divided up by the percentages would have given her a sixteen delegate pick up. Proportional representation allowed that to happen. That’s less democratic not more

            • Democrat

Well, the system, like all pr systems, operated with thresholds. Also, the whole state was not a single electoral unit, again, like most pr systems, so vote within congressional districts mattered.

In any case, there’s more congruence between votes and delegates with pr than there is with winner take all.

              • WildChild

proportional systems like winner take all gives disproportional results. Any means of divvying up the delegates outside direct proportion is disproportional. Thus Hillary could carry a state by ten pints and not get 10 delegates she should have gotton. Part of this fiasco is due to the democratic party giving disproportional advantage to minority areas. The tragic result is that not only does our winner not have a mandate, but he may be the first affirmative action candidate ever put forward by the democratic party.

                • less is more

don’t forget how UN democratic the caucuses are!

but the best piece of DEMOCRATIC news, especially for many of the younger O-trolls is that Obama will bring back the DEMOCRATIC draft!

                  bye, bye!

                  careful what you wish for!

          • GoHillary

            thief troll, don’t feed him

          • Seattle Moss

Proportional rep is so wimpy just like these new democrats.
In the GE it’s winner take all in each state. Obama’s delegates don’t represent his strength and have denied the tougher candidate the chance to win.
It’s going to be a blowout for McCain!!

            • star

I’m a Hillary supporter that hopes Mccain wins!!!!! The DNC is a piece of crap as far as im concerned. Hillary supporters need to remember what happened during this mess and DO NOT VOTE FOR OBAMA!!!!

          • Mirlo

I have a lot against it, if it’s done with bullying and putting to disadvantage a large portion of the constituency of one candidate. (handycapped, elderly, working moms etc)And believe me, it’s not done in this way in most civilized and developed Democracies. What kind of a picture is this to give the world you want to bring Democracy to? Most of them are not looking closely anyway, so no harm done, except to yourself by being utterly undemocratic and unethical.

      • Ann

If fl and mi were seated fully and no delegates were stolen from HRC and uncomitted and arbitrarily donated to BO she would have absolutely led in pledged delegates.

She won this in every manner possible except for the spineless super delegates being unable to stand up against obama-thuggery. If they were doing their jobs she’d be the presumptive nominee and her nomination would prevail at Denver. Plus the DNC would have some money right now.

    • Dawnelle

aww that was GREAT!! I teared up!! I hope she’s getting all recharged for the fight in DENVER!!!

If BHO doesn’t come up with some answers, some records, some BETTER wormy excuses he will be …….. too late I think it’s already happening

  • jangles

I love that video and it sure says everything I would love to say to the Hillster if I could just sit down with her anywhere in this world. I really miss her presence on the national political scene.

    • realchicken

Hillary has one chance at the White House–run as an indepdent. Sites like this are destroying any chance she has at ever getting the democratic nomination. In fact, she won’t even get a leadership position in the senate.

Since her supporters have turned away from the Democratic party, she has been weakened. Your actions ensure that she will be punished but they won’t do a thing to stop Obama from being president.

      YAY!

      • standard

Inspiring video. Time to take back our party, then our country.

      • http://texasdarlin.wordpress.com TexasDarlin

So…the “party” of “democrats” requires everyone to speak in one voice, and prohibits dissent?

Take your party and shove it!

        • realchicken

You got that right! With her supporters leaving the democratic party, Hillary has no chance of getting any role as a democrat. You better hope she becomes an independent. It’s the only chance she has.

The Clintons stepped on so many people while they were in power and created a lot of enemies. Now that she lost and her supporters are storming out of the party, the folks who hate her and Bill can finally give them the shiv!

This has all worked out great. Hillary’s old saggy-armed supporters are gone; Hillary is weakened. This is Obama’ party now, baby!

          • http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s3_jh2dO78U&feature=related Jeremiah God Damn AmeriKKKa Wright

oh yippee for you. Good luck winning the majority of electorats with a minority of votes.

WHOOHOO!! Obama ‘s Party is going up in a puff of crack pipe smoke!!

      • Seattle Moss

I think if Obama gets in you won’t be saying Yay for long.
The next president may be looking at depression and a stock market collapse. This will be especially true if Obama doubles the cap gains tax and imposes trade tariffs.
We have not been attacked by terrorists since 911 so whoever is president will be blamed for that when it happens.
Obama may get the nomination through a fixed process but like Bush may regret that he was selected and not elected.
        Can you say KARMA!!

        • realchicken

Karma is right! That’s why Hillary lost. Karma, baby! The Clintons’ chickens finally came home to roost.

That’s what she gets for telling Katie Couric “well [the noninee] will be me.” And for telling Russert “I’m in it for the long haul but it won’t be a very long haul. It’ll be over by 2/5.”

You want to blame Obama and the DNC but the truth is Hillary and her supporters were both lazy and cocky. Perhaps if you had spent more time organizing and raising money, you wouldn’t be whining now!

          • GoHillary

            Baby, Karma is
Ted Kennedy – brain tumor. glioblastoma look it up.
            Timmeh – coronary.

Don’t overdo Darth Axelrod’s work, you may be next.

            • dee4hill

My healthy, 50-year old brother died of Glioblastoma Multiforme within 93 days of diagnosis. It is the most aggressive form of primary brain cancer. There is no cure, period. No one is cured or survives it…

          • Seattle Moss

            Talk about Karma
Look at what happened to some Clinton haters.
            Barbara Olsen died on 911
Newt Gingrich left the speakership in disgrace
            Bob Livingston’s sexual orgies
            Larry Craig’s bathroom incident

Now the Clinton Haters on the left are in for a rude awakening.
Never underestimate a Clinton or their supporters

    A National Strike sounds good…
Here’s your hero McCain, the ratfink collaborator…(a taste of whats at http://www.counterpunch.org/valentine06132008.html)

“This poor stooge has propaganda value,” the Vietnamese realized. The Admiral’s bad boy was used to special treatment and his captors knew that. They were working him.

For his part, McCain acknowledges that the Vietnamese rushed him to a hospital, but denies he was given any “special medical treatment.”

However….two weeks into his stay at the Vietnamese hospital, the Hanoi press began quoting him. It was not “name rank and serial number, or kill me,” as specified by the military code of conduct. McCain divulged specific military information: he gave the name of the aircraft carrier on which he was based, the number of US pilots that had been lost, the number of aircraft in his flight formation, as well as information about the location of rescue ships. (5)

So McCain leveraged some details to get some medical attention. That’s not anything too contemptible. And who among us civilians is to judge someone in the position?

On the other hand, according to one source, McCain’s collaboration may have had very real consequences. Retired Army Colonel Earl Hopper, a veteran of World War II, Korea and Vietnam, contends that the information that McCain divulged classified information North Vietnam used to hone their air defense system.

Hopper’s son, Air Force Lieutenant Colonel Earl Pearson Hopper was, like McCain, shot down over North Vietnam. Hopper the younger, however, was declared “Missing in Action.” Stemming from the loss of his son, the elder Hopper co-founded the National League of Families, an organization devoted to the return of Vietnam War POWs.

According to the elder Hopper, McCain told his North Vietnamese captors, “highly classified information, the most important of which was the package routes, which were routes used to bomb North Vietnam. He gave in detail the altitude they were flying, the direction, if they made a turn… he gave them what primary targets the United States was interested in.” Hopper contends that the information McCain provided allowed the North Vietnamese to adjust their air-defenses. As result, Hopper claims, the US lost sixty percent more aircraft and in 1968, “called off the bombing of North Vietnam, because of the information McCain had given to them.” 6

    The Psywar Stooge

McCain was held for five and half years. Collaborating during the first two weeks might have been pragmatic, but he soon became North Vietnam’s go-to collaborator for the next three years. Given the quality of the military information he allegedly shared, his situation isn’t as innocuous as the pragmatic French barber who cuts the hair of the German occupier. McCain was repaying his captors for their kindness and mercy.

This is the lesson of McCain’s experience as a POW: a true politician, a hollow man, his only allegiance is to power. The Vietnamese, like McCain’s campaign contributors today, protected and promoted him and in return, he danced to their tune.

Not content with divulging military information, McCain provided his voice in radio broadcasts used by the North Vietnamese to demoralize American soldiers.

Vietnamese radio propagandists made good use out of McCain. On June 4, 1969, a U.S. wire service headlined a story entitled “PW Songbird Is Pilot Son of Admiral.” (7)

The story reported that McCain collaborated in psywar offensives aimed at American servicemen. “The broadcast was beamed to American servicemen in South Vietnam as a part of a propaganda series attempting to counter charges by U.S. Defense Secretary Melvin Laird that American prisoners are being mistreated in North Vietnam.”
On one occasion, General Vo Nguyen Giap, the top Vietnamese commander and a nationalist celebrity of the time, personally interviewed McCain. His compliance during this command performance was a moment of affirmation for the Vietnamese. His Vietnamese handlers thereafter used him regularly as prop at meetings with foreign delegations.

In the custody of enemy psywar specialists, McCain became what he is today: a professional psywar stooge.

It is impossible to prove exactly what happened to McCain short of traveling to Vietnam and tracking down his captors, and picking up thee trail where it begins. According to The Vietnam Veterans Against John McCain, McCain says he only collaborated when he brutally tortured by his Vietnamese captors and a wicked Cuban he referred to as Fidel. (8)

He says his confession led him to a suicide attempt.

“In the anguished days right after my confession,” McCain said in his autobiography Faith of My Fathers, “I had dreaded just such a discovery by my father.”

But as McCain discovered, dear old dad did know.

“I only recently learned that the tape I dreamed I heard playing over the loudspeaker in my cell had been real; it had been broadcast outside the prison and had come to the attention of my father,” McCain said. “If I had known at the time my father had heard about my confession, I would have been distressed beyond imagination, and might not have recovered from the experience as quickly as I did.”

But wait! McCain did not commit suicide. In fact, he’s alive, running for President on the “war hero” ticket, and promoting more war everywhere. The new McCain feels no distress at having been a collaborator or a war criminal – if he ever did.

According to Fernando Barral, a Cuban psychologist who questioned McCain in January 1970, “McCain was “boastful” during their interview and “without remorse” for any civilian deaths that occurred “when he bombed Hanoi.” McCain has a similar recollection, writing in his [autobiography] that he responded, “No, I do not” when Barral asked if he felt remorse.” (9)

McCain told [Barral] that he had not been subjected to “physical or moral violence,” and “lamented in the interview that ‘if I hadn’t been shot down, I would have become an admiral at a younger age than my father.’”

“Barral said McCain boasted that he was the best pilot in the Navy and that he wanted to be an astronaut.” The Cuban psychologist concluded that McCain was [a] ‘psychopath.’” (10)

“He felt superior to the Vietnamese up there in his plane, with all his training,” Barral recalled.

Psychopath McCain emerges, now, as a contemptible elitist, stewing in the crucible of his class conscience, the ultimate right wing psywar stooge.

    • Seattle Moss

McCain is an American Patriot and hero.

You will fail at swiftboating him.

Now go back and worship Obama’s middle finger

      • rjj

“But will [honor] not live with the living?
no. Why? detraction will not suffer it.”

and for everyone’s edification is Thomas Aquinas on the sin of detraction (backbiting).

        http://www.trosch.org/for/scan/st-detra.htm

But never mind all that. Assume he is no hero. The choice is between one kind of schmuck and another. Each year the types of schmucks differ, but the schmuck-ness remains constant. Human scale of human things and all that.

This year McCain’s schmuckiness is preferable to Obama’s.

        • Dawnelle

I appreciate the Schmuck distinctions as well but probably wouldn’t call McKook a schmuck except for what he did to his first wife for which she forgives him. Her choice.

but I will call McKook a Kook as that’s how I feel his is about some things military and that’s THANKS to his being a pow.

No he’s not an “American patriot and hero,” and I will never vote for him.

      Tootsky,
During the Vietnam War, the part of the military in which I served was told that if captured and facing interrogation, to drag things out as long as you could, but know that they CAN get you to talk. There are a sh**load of ways which make waterboarding look cute that the North Vietnamese and VC knew how to do and did. Many people have inadequate imaginations about this. Toughness and courage enter into the thing only because he endured the crap when he didn’t have to. To retain your spirits and those with you, Especially When You Are The RMFIC is called leadership. To go through hell like that shouldn’t be wished on even an enemy. To have you echo the bull that some candyass who never saw the pointy end of anything more dangerous than a pencil is an insult. So, for Sen. McCain, whose politics I have rarely, if ever agreed with,
      please Kiss My Veteran Ass.

      • Fred C. Dobbs

        Mine, too.

We were winning when I left.

        • tootsky

You never were winning. And you were on the Nazi side. I’d rather not know violence than to know violence on the side of the Imperialists against a movement that had bits declaration of independence on Jefferson. Having spent some time in Vietnam and having admiration for their steadfast spirit, I know that there is no victory greater than theirs. You deserved to lose.

          • ulahane

Tootsky, go to Hell, you brain dead, Marxist poseur!

            • tootsky

I admire that comma between “dead” and “Marxist.” Imagine, Americans still justifying their genocidal war on Vietnam. But the use of the comma almost makes me swoon.

      • dpvegas

Amazing how these people seem to surface like this! Never served a day in their lives and hate military people most the time…just not when it serves their purpose. And we’re supposed to believe that Barky will “help” the military, while his surrogates are spreading such malicious crap about a real hero. I mean, we don’t want our military people to keep dying in Iraq, right? Like I believe they care, and this proves to me they don’t.

Notice that they only pay lip service to the fact that John McCain spent over 5 years in a VC prison and weakly say that that must have been hard. Like any of them would know what hardship is. Maybe the high price of arugala (sorry, I don’t even know how to spell that stuff)? “Having” to pay $10K a year for dance lessons for their spawn?

They say that we’ll regret it if McCain is elected with things like higher gas prices, but ignore that their precious wants gas prices to be much higher. Inconvenient facts.

I’m a Vet, my husband’s retired military, and we are sick to death of the effete elite telling us what to do, think, or feel. They don’t have a clue…totally clueless as to what real working class Americans face daily.

If Hillary doesn’t get the nomination, then we’ll be fine voting for a real war hero…for a change.

      • tootsky

McCain is a war criminal. He even admitted this, in those words, in 1997 to Lesley Stahl (see the whole piece). He repented by collaborated with the good guys (NVA) without any need for torture. The US were to Vietnam what Nazis were to most of Euroep and whoever was captured got their just deserts.

I hate America? Is that a Democrat saying that? EVERY reasonable historian, even Arthur Schlesinger and other moderates, shares my point of view. Over 3 million Vietnamese dead.

Why is “candy ass” a term of insult among macho Americans? Do you secretly find men’s asses to be as sweet as candy? I mean there’s nothing wrong with it…in fact its complimentary.

Great video!!!!!!! I miss seeing Hillary, but she is getting much needed rest. I remember that I used to watch her speeches on cnnlive.com in almost every state! She was always fabulous of course. And she always, always greeted as many people in the crowd as possible and took pics and signed autographs (unlike some ppl we know) and I remember always seeing her aid there as well at the end, Huma Abedin, wonderfully elegant. Ahhh…the good ole days of the campaign…

    Anyway

me TOO!! cnnlive! I bet their numbers have taken a real nose dive lately

  • realchicken

Wow. 425 Puma members? By november that number should be down to 42.

    • Democrat

The number that impresses me tonight is 4412 dead Americans from this stupid war.

      McCain wants to continue it.
      Obama does not.

      • http://obamafact.blogspot.com/ Mel

Shame again that Obama did nothing to help find support by holding hearings on his commitee for Nato, that number could probably be lower had he done an ounce of work, but he was too busy getting a bill passed to recognize the Congo and naming a post office to worry over it huh?

        • Democrat

How would holding hearings on NATO change anything? W. controlled the troops and, as president, is in charge of diplomacy. See Artice I, U.S. Constitution.

          • http://obamafact.blogspot.com/ Mel

If you have no idea how Nato hearing would help, then you have a problem don’t you?

Unfortunately you can’t ask Bambi the answer because he never held a hearing to find out has he?

Tisk tisk, until you learn the reason for having such a commitee, maybe you should be keeping quiet on the matter, like Bambi has, don’t you think?

            • Democrat

Explain it to me, Mel. How would that have mattered in the least?

Do you think Obama would have gotten those countries to send more troops where the president did not and could not, since the people from those countries opposed the war?

              What is your argument?

              • WildChild

moot point. BOBO never did anything.

When you attend a church that has the Hamas Manifesto on its web site, when you count among your friends and break bread with an Iraqi prison escapee, a PLO member and several clearly active Jew haters; when you find Hamas likes you a lot and when you align yourself with zbig, a known Jihad lover, as your foreign policy advisor, when Pakistani citizens hold fundraisers for you, somebody has got to figure that you are no friend of Israel in any way, shape or form no matter what duplicitous pandering you try to do.

      • Wow

        Democrat,
You are correct, but this crowd has lost its way. I watched a documentary on 911 tonight and wept. I wept because of the twenty years of U.S. policy leading up to it and for the absolute ineptitude in the Bush administration in the very last months prior, when the chatter warning of the terrible thing about to happen could not have been denser and louder yet the Bush administration IGNORED IT, just like he did his own in Katrina. And I wept for our invasion not long thereafter of a sovereign nation DESPITE the faulty intelligence serving as our flimsy excuse. How could Hillary, and to be fair, so many other democrats, have given Bush authorization to commit that crime?? And here, I am surrounded by fellow democrats, most of whom I KNOW opposed that fateful decision, rallying around a president who promises to keep the occupation going for however arbitrarily long he decides it takes. I just can’t stop crying.

        • http://obamafact.blogspot.com/ Mel

amazing how you can type so well while crying so much, do you have any other incredible skills?

If Obama had been there, he would have been absent that day. He voted Present on every single controverial issue to keep his hands clean for his presidential aspirations.

By the way, how is it that Obama was against the war before he was for the war, and now he’s against the war again.

Sorry this is FOX. I can’t get stuff like this from Keith Olbermann can I now. See Barack Obama’s OWN QUOTES–duplicitous panderer that he is.

          http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VJ17q8kY9B8&eurl=http://unclesamsboot.blogspot.com/

Like I said, he has no intention of ending that war, he just wants to reverse the direction of exactly whose side we are on.

        • street_parade

Yes, we should leave Iraq right now, so you can stop crying.

But BO is not going to leave Iraq, Samantha Power said so: “You can’t make a commitment in March 2008 about what circumstances will be like in January of 2009,” she said. “He will, of course, not rely on some plan that he’s crafted as a presidential candidate or a U.S. Senator” so sayeth Samantha.

If you hear this from BO will it make it better? If BO says he is not leaving will you stop crying? Or is it only mean old Hillary and McCain saying it that make you cry?

      • Seattle Moss

Obama lives in fairy land. By leaving Iraq now after all we have invested when the surge is clearly working and our presence keeps Iranian Hegemony from becoming a reality in the region is simply NAIVE.

If we run with our tails between our legs defeated then we will be attacked again and again.

Our strategic position in the middle east will be compromised and we will lose our position as leader of the Western world.

        I say no surrender!!!!

        • HillarySupportsObamaNow

With all due respect, Seattle, that is NOT the language of an orthodox democrat. And save your “oh you’re just an academic Obamabot” for someone to whom it actually applies. I grew up VERY working class, have a mother whose factory job is shipping to Mexico and a father who is a Vietnam vet and voted for Bush twice. And guess what? They have a sign in their yard that reads “Bitter Hillbillies for Obama.”

A true democrat from even a year ago would not be talking as you do, as if imperialism and endless bloodshed are OKAY.

          • Seattle Moss

Where you stand defeat is honorable and acceptable. I was against the Iraq war originally and gave the same speech as Obama did in 2002. However, things have changed and this is now 2008.
Life is not fair or pretty. War is unjust and messy.
This war now is about protecting Western Civilizations vital and strategic interests.
Obama’s associations tell me that he is willing to give victory to the terrorists and their enablers.
            I say no surrender!!!!

        • Democrat

OK, since you want the war to continue, you should vote for McCain.

Go for it. When do you think we’ll hit 6000 dead Americans?

          • WildChild

Probably in BOBO’s second year in office.

          • Seattle Moss

Maybe you should tally up the number of people in a city and ask the same question if we are attacked by Iranian built nukes.

What is not shown from the state of the union address was when Bush talked about the surge’s success Hillary and most people got up and applauded the president.
                What did Obama do?
He just sat there on his hands like a little anti-American defeated wimp.

I guess he was thinking…I sure hope we keep losing in Iraq so that I can be president and give victory to my palls in the 57 states of Islam.

        • tampagurl

So you admit you’re a troll.

  • Obama is a bum

I agree that Obama needs to be destroyed. But I am beginning to wonder if he can be stopped. Nothing seems to stick to Obama, the media does not allow it. The conservatives are saying McCain is too liberal and will stay home or vote for Chuck Baldwin or Bob Barr.

Obama, of all people, may actually back into the presidency. If he does I don’t think Hillary Clinton will never have a chance to be president. Obama said he wanted to turn the page on the Clintons and if he wins Hillary cannot run until 2016. If that happens I think the Democrats will see Hillary as the past and not support her. However, if Obama loses they will see the error of supporting Obama and go back to what worked before. This time they would all support Hillary without opposition.

Ironically, for McCain to win I think that he would require an enormous amount of Hillary supporters to do it. I don’t see that happening because most will vote party line.

    • http://obamafact.blogspot.com/ Mel

Conservatives said the exact same thing about Bush in 2004 and look what happened!

    • Seattle Moss

I don’t think you need to worry so much. Republicans are in total fear of an Obama regime. That is why in the last two months they were desperate to change the course of the democrat nomination by supporting Hillary the moderate.
They know that Obama represents the radical left wing that has a chip and an ax to grind.

They won’t be staying home or voting third party.

The only problem will be that he may not lose big enough to send him and his minions packing. Time will tell. And McCain will be a one-termer…the shit is hitting the economic fan with such a fury that WHOEVER gets elected is never going to be re-elected.

  • Pink Panther

As a Senate candidate in November 2003, Sen. Obama said he would have ‘unequivocally’ voted against war funding because it was the only way to oppose Bush on Iraq:

“Just this week, when I was asked, would I have voted for the $87 billion dollars, I said ‘no.’ I said no unequivocally because, at a certain point, we have to say no to George Bush. If we keep on getting steamrolled, we are not going to stand a chance.” [Obama remarks, New Trier Democratic Organization forum, 11/16/03; Video]

    But until he ran for president, Sen. Obama supported every funding bill for Iraq. [2005 Vote # 117, HR1268, 5/10/05; 2005 Vote # 326, S1042, 11/15/05; 2006 Vote # 112, HR4939, 5/4/06; 2006 Vote # 239; 2006 Vote # 186, S2766, 6/22/06, HR5631, 9/7/06]

Now a video has been found in which Obama was interviewed and he states, “No, no, I’ve never said troops should be withdrawn,” and didn’t want a deadline to withdraw troops.

Obama will have the U.S. in Iraq AND Pakistan for 100 years.

  • kimmy

How funny, bots from the barak hussein “GODDAMN KKK OF AMERICA!!!!!!!” obama’s ass infesting this site to tell us that McCain’s an elitist. How very republican, accusing the opposition of the very thing you’re guilty of. Pathetic fuckers. They’ve won the dem primaries and still they’re angry and bitter, but where’s the surprise? Like their gods obama and michelle, angry they are.

    • Democrat

That’s right, we DID win those primaries.

      Thanks for the acknowledgment.

      Enjoy your evening!

      • DoroB

Yeah, you guys won. Democracy lost.

        • Democrat

It is hard when your preferred candidate loses. Perhaps instead of assuming it would be over by Super Tuesday (a day on which she got fewer delegates than Obama), the Clinton campaign should have planned for the ones afterward. If it were not for the big run Obama had after Super Tuesday, Clinton might have become the nominee.

          • tampagurl

Democrat, I thought you said good night? How can we miss you if you won’t F-ing leave?

          • WildChild

<any tings could have caused Hillary to win. For example Florida and Michigan being granted their requested wavers just like NH, SC, IA and NV

            • Democrat

No, that wouldn’t have been enough for her to have a lead in pledged delegates.

              See http://www.demconwatchblog.com/2008/05/fl-mi-by-numbers_21.html

              • WildChild

You can’t make that claim. Florida and Michigan both went to Hillary at a time in the race when that momentum would have gotten her lots of attention. But since the wavers weren’t granted those results were discounted, that momentum never realized and BOBO was able to close the lead.

                • Democrat

The problem with this argument is that there was no way they would have counted then. Clinton didn’t say at the time that they would. She changed to that later.

                  • WildChild

There’s no problem with my argument. Had FL and MI been granted their wavers like SC, IA, NV and SC, their primaries would have counted at a time when the momentum they generated for Hillary could have pushed the race to Hillary and away from BOBO.

                    • Seattle Moss

That is exactly how Dean fixed the nomination. The momentum would have been Hillary’s if MI,and Fl were counted on election night.
Dean even said that front loading a heavy AA state like SC which also broke the rules was part of the DNC strategy.

          • http://obamafact.blogspot.com/ Mel

Shame Obama never thought past June 3rd huh?

          • DoroB

Right, the red and caucus states that he won in February will help him greatly in the general election, won’t they? Why did Obama pour so much money into the March and April states if he was so confident that he would get the nomination? He outspent Hillary at least 2-1 in most states and still lost. With his great 10-state momentum and generous spending, he could have done a lot better. Instead, Wright caught up with him and he “wheezed across the finish line.” Sorry, but it’s something I wouldn’t be proud of.

It’s not hard when my candidate loses. It’s hard to think that an untrustworthy hypocrite and media puppet could be elected president. That’s why you’re seeing PUMA. And you’re not making his case with your Obama talking points either.

            • Democrat

He won half of those contests.

And, as the GE is not run by caucuses, neither is it run by closed primaries.

The majority of pledged delegates is not the standard.
Neither Obama nor Clinton has enough pledged delegates to clinch the nomination.
Superdelegates are unpledged until the vote at the convention per DNC rules.
            Obama is a sham.

In Indiana alone estimates having 7% of the the vote coming from Operation Chaos while she won that state by only 2%. You see, Rush and his buddies REALLY wanted to see this thing dragged out so as to render WHO THE FUCK EVER WON completely unelectable. Let them try to do that to that man, I look forward to them pissing off the rest of the electorate.

And speaking of medical records, Obama has refused to release his. He brought a note from his doctor. You know who else tried that shit? Mike Dukakis. It didn’t work out too well for him either.

      • http://obamafact.blogspot.com/ Mel

Was his medical records a graphic designers production like his phoney birth certificate?

  • http://confloyd connie floyd

As usual the Obamatrons just can’t quiet except that their are other people in this world that have accomplished much much more than their messiah. John McCain is a war hero, so lay of him. You should have to go through what he did and then we will listen, until then keep your mouth shut so as not to insert foot. Hillary has done many, many more things than Bambi also, so get over it, your guy is a newcomer without much to offer. He also is hooked up with all of you, which makes him less desireable as a candidate for POTUS. I suggest you find some other place to post. This is a anti-Obama site, in case you haven’t realized it and you will not change this as you have Taylor’s!

  • Alex

With Dems like PUMA I see why the Dems haven’t won many elections. You have a bunch of delusional people on this blog. Hillary is done, over, gone and all the wishful thinking and bad thoughts about Obama can not and will not bring her back. Grow up people!!! If you want to blame someone for Hillary’s lost start with Hillary.

She was the one who had a 30 to 40 point lead in the polls going into JAN 08.

She was the one who picked that idiot Mark Penn to run her campaign.

She was the one who could not come up with a theme for her campaign until the Texas/Ohio primaries.

She was the one who could not keep the one person who had disrespected worst than anyone else(Bill) under control during the campaign.

If she could not win in 2008 with all that she had going for her, what makes you think she will win in 2012. If Obama loses his supporters will blame her and a large group of her supports will have moved on by then. With the new group of women coming up in politics, Hillary will be old hat and most of these poster (supporters) will have jumped off this bandwagon so fast it will make your head spin.

    • street_parade

Actually our record is so lousy because we nominate people who are too far to the left for the general electorate of the U.S. We have a looonggg and proud history of it!

  • catherine

It breaks my heart that the DNC had an extremely qualified candidate and a real independentleader in Hillary and they let her go. They sacrificed her for what? Money? To be cool and hip?
Shameful that the leaders of the Democratic party care more about who can bring in the most money over who can do the best job running the country. I will not vote for Obama. For the principle of it. The DNC took away our rights as voters. They manipulated the Florida and Michigan situations to their liking. They knew from the beginning these states would be hard for BO to win and so they set it up the way they did. The states BO won were mostly all caucus states. I cannot and will not support a nominee who was made to represent us through this manipulation. His entire campaign is a fraud. It saddens me because many will see him as better than McCain. Our choice will be bad or worse. And for what. Money. God bless America.

Way to build those bridges, Alex. Where’s the love? The unity? The lets all hold hands and teach the world to sing attitude we expect from a true, blue Obamacan?

Go to HuffPo and play with your kind.

        • Democrat

I just stated a fact. Ickes helped write those rules, along with Terry M.

    • Seattle Moss

Most of the democrat candidates were more than qualified.
I could have voted for Biden,or Dodd or perhaps Richardson or a host of others like Bayh or Rendell if he ran. The fact is out of all those Hillary was the most charimatic and ready to be president.
Experience didn’t matter to the media and DNC.
American Idol is what they wanted and the money.

      Shame on them.
      I VOTE EXPERIENCE…….PERIOD!!!!!!

I’ve been on this site all day and I see it’s shift change with the Obama tolls again. They are such a sad bunch.

    • Alex

tampagirl you and so many of the women on this site sound like every woman who has been dumped by a man in a relationship. Instead of looking at the relationship and seeing what went wrong, you look to blame any and everybody else. “It’s all that man’s fault, I was the perfect woman and he is a bad person if he can not see that.”

      • tampagurl

That just goes to show you how stupid you are; I’ve never been dumped in my life. Your a sad troll.

Lucky for her she has surrounded herself with a large following of ignorant reactinary loudmouths so that she doesn’t stand out as much as she used to.

            • Zeke

              Well, the boybots have these eentsy weensty little erections they get from humming “obamamama bamamama” all the time. Come to think of it, same for the girlbots except its their t-shirts reading;
chaNGe we can beliEVe in …

    • Alex

PS, you have to decide which one he is a radical Muslim or hateful Christian. He can not be both at the same time.

      • Democrat

I think they should also decide if he’s a radical leftist or a DLC clone, Bambi or a nasty thug.

        • Alex

          Great point

        • Susan1968

You see people on this site actually hold differing opinions.

Obama bots don’t understand that because they’re all programmed the same way.

          • Alex

But Obama bots are not delusional about him like you people are about Hillary.

            • Susan1968

Ummmm… a bot, by virtue of being a bot, cannot think for themselves.

Do you even know what bot is short for?

You need to plug in for some program updates. Go to Huffington, they’ll update your program free of charge.

              • Alex

come on Susan answer my question below. I am serious about it and I want a honest answer. If you don’t know you can try google, after all we are on the net.

                P.S. Then I’ll run along

      • Ann On

Really? Who’s going to make me decide–the same person who’s going to make me vote for Obama, I suppose. Until then, I’d say that radical Islam/hateful Christianity are all wrapped up together in the same psychotic NOI package. You get two messes for the price of one with those people.

      • street_parade

Actually that’s BO’s unique selling proposition. He CAN be all things to all people, if they’re gullible enough that is. I don’t think he is a radical Muslim or a hateful Christian or a moderate Muslim or a loving Christian. I think he’s a snake oil salesman, just like his moral compass, spiritual advisor and ‘crazy’ Uncle Jeremiah.

  • Alex

Come on folks, don’t give up now.

  • Alex

I would like anyone on this site to tell me what has Hillary done herself (not what Bill did) that makes her so great. I’ve been waiting for a honest answer to this question for a long time. I will really listen to the answer. But understand, if it not legitimate I will call you on it.

    • kimmy

I’ve been waiting for anyone…on *any* site…to tell me just what Obama Hussein has accomplished…*any*where.

      • Alex

Nuclear weapon proliferation bill, ethics reform in his first two years in the Senate. Now it’s your turn.

        • kimmy

Did he author those? Or merely sign his name to someone else’s work? Are you familiar with the wording of these, and what they call for exactly, or are you just parroting something you read in one of Barak Hussein “GODDAMN THE USofKKK AMERICA!!!!!!” Obama’s sermons on the mount. What’s the current status of either of these two bills? Do you know? No…I didn’t think so.

          • WildChild

I think BOBO just slapped his name on them after they were written. Remember when Hillary went to Commie China and called the Commies on their treatment of Women. Now that was an act of balls. LOL BOBO’s afraid to go to Iraq. BOBO might get a BOOBOO.

        • Seattle Moss

          Obama’s One bill…
Relief aid for the Congo Republic

  • Alex

I’m waiting folks. No takers for my question on Hillary’s accomplishments. Why when I always ask this I get nothing but silence for her supports.

    • Susan1968

If you want to know Hillary’s accomplishments, there’s a really neat tool called Google.

      Run along now.

      • Alex

You are her supporter you don’t know off the top of you head. Some supporter, I bet you would fall for the first pretty face or smooth line that told you what you wanted to hear. Or do you follow the crowd when it comes to a cause.

        • WildChild

In a September 1995 speech before the Fourth World Conference on Women in Beijing, Clinton argued very forcefully against practices that abused women around the world and in China itself,[148] declaring “that it is no longer acceptable to discuss women’s rights as separate from human rights”[148] and resisting Chinese pressure to soften her remarks.[146] She was one of the most prominent international figures at the time to speak out against the treatment of Afghan women by the Islamist fundamentalist Taliban that had seized control of Afghanistan.[149][150] She helped create Vital Voices, an international initiative sponsored by the United States to promote the participation of women in the political processes of their countries.[151]

          • Alex

Accomplishment or do you I need to define that word to you. Not talk to a conference Laura Bush does that.

            • WildChild

Anybody can talk at a conference. But when Hillary took on the commie Chinese that made world headlines as all balls moves do. Now let’s contrast that to BOBO. He makes a land mark speech on race in which he says he can no more disown pastor wright then he can his white grandmother and then two weeks later he disowned him. Hillary faced pressure from the commies to tone it down and she held firm. BOBO felt the pressure of mere falling poll numbers and caved. That’s the difference between our Hillary and your BOBO.

        • Seattle Moss

We have lives so we don’t have to tell every Obama miscreant Hillary’s accomplishments.
          Just know this simple fact..
We are democrats that are voting against Obama and are actively working against all those that support him.

    • street_parade
      • Alex

One bill to track the health of soldiers. In eight years that all she has done. You got to do better than that. Wheres her health care bills that she has passed, better yet introduced to the Senate. Where is her vote against the war? Where is her anything, since she has been a US Senator????

        • WildChild

In eight years Hillary has worked across the aisle to make the deals to get these bills passed. That’s the real accomplishment. BOBO just slapped his name on them and then went back to running for president.

  • http://pumaparty.com//hillarysmygirl08 Hillaryormccain08

First of all I loved the video. I just want to point this out to people that if you notice for the fact that Dumbo actually won the–I am sorry I mean stole the nomination that these idiots, who are addicted to crack like their boyfriend Obambi, are so obsessed with us. They follow us around the net and just act like roaches. Only thing I can think of is that they know their boy is going to get his ass handed to him and I can’t wait. I am African American bozos so don’t bother to call me racist because unlike Dumbo who is about 5% black if he is lucky I am a full blooded African American not a Mutt.

                  • Alex

            Yeah right!!
I guess I can now vote for McCain without being called a racist.

            You started the racism….

            We’re finishing it in November!!

  • judd

Obama and Hillary did not meet the needed delegates without SUPER DELEGATES STEPPING IN.

Obama was ahead in the state delegates at the end and Hillary was close.

If they would have not counted any super delegates the delegate race was very close.

Additionally, on the ELECTORAL MAP which is the map that REALLY MATTERS Hillary was beating Obama by a large margin by showing she would win big in the general election.
Hillary also won the popular vote.

    BUT,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Pelosi, Dean, Reid, had this election all planned out from the very beginning. They wanted to be puppet masters.
Obama without experience cannot run this country.
Congress has had a negative poll rating of negative 75 percent for several weeks and negative 60 percent poll rating for months.
They cannot blame Bush for their rating. They made promises and did not keep them and they are running scared, so they need a President they can own and manipulate. That would be Obama.
Hillary would not be owned or manipulated and they know it.
Hillary is a bi-partisan player and an aggressive problem solver and Peliso is the problem, as is Reid and they know with Clinton as president, they would lose their leadership roles.
Pelosi and Reid have lead their congress to hell with these horrific negative ratings and that is why they robbed this election from the American people.

This will backfire on them. They cannot run a country with the majority in congress now and they made many enemies with the way they ran these primaries. The mid-term elections will prove harmful to the Democrats.

Obama has spent his entire political career beginning in 1995 running for one office after another without stopping to serve his constituents. In 10 years he has run for 4 different offices and accomplished nothing.

He is just a warm body for the Democrats to put in the oval office and manipulate.

Hillary Clinton was the fighter, the winner, the true champion of this country. She had the plans ready to go on day one.
She was ready to lead. She was strong.

Obama just repeated her plans, when he spoke, yet he had no idea what the plans were.

Hillary was our last best chance to survive the many crisis we face as a nation.

Hillary Clinton is a fighter and 18 million of us fought for her while the rest voted for an empty shell.

Those who voted for the empty shell just remember what you did when your gas tank is empty and you can’t afford to fill it, your bank account is empty cause you lost your job, and much more emptiness to come

BECAUSE OBAMA IS AN EMPTY SHELL!

    • Alex

Electoral map, Huh. Was this not the Democratic Party Primary that just happen or was I just dreaming. I get it when the facts doesn’t fit, just change the facts. Somehow Dean and every Democrat knew that Hillary would run the worst campaign in recent history, so they decided that delegates would be the way to beat Hillary. Never mind that it has been that was since the 70′s. We just come up with new facts. Like the one that said she won the popular vote. She wins the popular vote if you count Florida and Michigan(like no one in Detroit would vote for Obama) and you don’t count any of the caucus states that Obama won.

      • WildChild

If Hillary ran the worst campaign in recent history, how did she get half the votes? And is BOBO really so weak that he could only get half the votes when up against the worst campaign is recent history?

        • kimmy

the worses campain in resent history is barack hussein “GODDAMN THE US OF KKK AMERICA” obmama outspending his opponunt by outragis amounts and winning buy a cuple hunderd votes. pathetic. worses campain ever, alex. the worses

          • Alex

As my coach said to us after we lost a game by one point. Lose by one or one million, it still a lost. Her campaign will be taught in colleges around the country. They will study how she lost, what she did wrong and how not to repeat those mistakes.

            • WildChild

people don’t revisit games where you only squeaked out the barest of wins against one of the worst teams in recent history. People hide that footage. However history may study the weakness of the BOBO campaign given the above in the context of all that money he had to spend.

As Ive said before, Im fairly neutral in this campaign although Ive been known to defend Obama on several occasions. I think both Obama and Mccain are credible candidates and whoever wins, Im not going to cry into my cornflakes (although thats easier for me to say-Im not American!)
However why is it that in fighting against Obama you believe you are fighting for the country? “This country is worth fighting for”- that kind of hyperbole is strange. Obama might turn out to be a bad president, but do people here really believe he will destroy the country? Whats he going to do that is so bad that you feel the country is suffering some kind of existential crisis?

    • Perry Logan

Having a corrupt, incompetent Democrat as President would do irreparable damage to the Party and the country.

  • Benjamin

I miss Hillary. The fire and inspiration of her campaign – and the odds she faced, and still faces. I think she performed with strength, honor, and grace under pressure, like no presidential candidate I’ve ever seen. The fact that much of the media still obsesses about her is telling. It says to me that they know, deep inside, that Hillary is still a force to be reckoned with. The irony of it – it is Hillary who actually became the candidate of hope and change, in the end – and I refuse to give up that hope.

Having a choice between Obama and McCain is just a tragedy for this country – when we had a chance to have the fighter, the work horse, the woman who stands up for her core principles.

I’m in the mood to keep fighting.

  • beebop

When the video came to the moment where it showed “The Thinker,” it brought to mind something that I remembered from my trip to the Cleveland Museum of Art. I hope you find the story illustrative and important in this good fight.

    ‘The Thinker Vandalized

At approximately 1am on March 24, 1970, a bomb irreparably damaged the Cleveland Museum’s version of Rodin’s The Thinker. The bomb itself had been placed on a pedestal that supported the enlargement and had the power of about three sticks of dynamite.

No one was injured in the subsequent blast, but the statue’s base and lower legs were destroyed. The remaining sections of the cast were blown backward to form a ‘plume’ at the base, and the entire statue was knocked to the ground. It was reported that this attack was undertaken by a radical political group, perhaps as a commentary on the continuing military action in Vietnam or the elitism of the American government.

Regardless, no one was ever arrested or charged with the destruction. However, the incident highlighted several conservation issues related directly to artistic intent. Since the piece was so dramatically damaged, the Museum was unsure how to proceed. One idea was to create an entirely new cast to replace the damaged work. Another idea was to restore the sculpture by recasting elements of Rodin’s original. Finally, however, it was decided that the statue should not be repaired, but placed outside the Museum in its damaged condition.’

Does the DMC really believe we cannot see they rigged the outcome with Florida and Michigan? He didn’t reach the delegate count and niether did Hillary- The popular vote from each state should be how each superdelegate votes at the convention! Not who promises money and payoffs Just look at Chicago and Illinois corruption!

You wanted some bills that supported the Resume of Obama over McCain. Here are just some.

The Secure America and Orderly Immigration Act
Introduced by Sen. John McCain in May 2005, and cosponsored by Sen. Edward Kennedy. Barack Obama added three amendments to this bill.

While the bill was never voted on in the Senate, the Comprehensive Immigration Reform Acts of 2006 and 2007, respectively, drew heavily upon the wording of this bill.

    The Lugar-Obama Cooperative Threat Reduction.
Introduced by Sen. Barack Obama, Sen. Dick Lugar and Sen. Tom Coburn.

First introduced in November 2005 and enacted in 2007, this bill expanded upon the successful Nunn-Lugar threat reduction, which helped secure weapons of mass destruction and related infrastructure in former Soviet Union states.

Lugar-Obama expanded this nonproliferation program to conventional weapons — including shoulder-fired rockets and land mines. When the bill received $48 million in funding, Obama said, “This funding will further strengthen our ability to detect and intercept illegal shipments of weapons and materials of mass destruction, enhancing efforts to prevent nuclear terrorism.”

Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act of 2006
This act of Congress, introduced by Senators Obama and Coburn, required the full disclosure of all entities or organizations receiving federal funds in FY2007.

Despite a “secret hold” on this bill by Senators Ted Stevens and Robert Byrd, the act passed into law and was signed by President Bush. The act had 43 cosponsors, including John McCain.

The act created this Web site, which provides citizens with valuable information about government-funded programs.

Democratic Republic of the Congo Relief, Security, and Democracy Promotion Act

This law helped specify US policy toward the Congo, and states that the US should work with other donor nations to increase international contributions to the African nation.

The bill marked the first federal legislation to be enacted with Obama as its primary sponsor. Following this legislation’s passage, Obama toured Africa, traveling to South Africa, Kenya, Djibouti, Ethiopia and Chad. He spoke forcefully against ethnic rivalries and political corruption in Kenya.

Honest Leadership and Open Government Act
In the first month of the 110th Congress, Obama worked with Sen. Russ Feingold to pass this law, which amends and strengthens the Lobbying Disclosure Act of 1995.

Specificially, the changes made by Obama and Feingold requires public disclosure of lobbying activity and funding, places more restrictions on gifts for members of Congress and their staff, and provides for mandatory disclosure of earmarks in expenditure bills.

The House passed the bill, 411-8, on July 31. The Senate approved it, 83-14, on Aug. 2. At the time, Obama called it “the most sweeping ethics reform since Watergate.”

Deceptive Practices and Voter Intimidation Prevention Act

Following the Republican-sponsored voter intimidation tactics seen in mostly black counties in Maryland during the 2006 midterm elections, Obama worked with Sen. Chuck Schumer to introduce this bill.

The bill has been referred to the United States Senate Committee on the Judiciary. Obama said of the bill, “This legislation would ensure that for the first time, these incidents are fully investigated and that those found guilty are punished.”

The Obama-McCain Climate Change Reduction Bill

The Obama-McCain bill, which is co-sponsored by Sen. Joe Lieberman, I-Conn., would cut emissions by two-thirds by 2050.

Iraq War De-Escalation Act of 2007

Introduced by Obama, this binding act would stop the planned troop increase of 21,500 in Iraq, and would also begin a phased redeployment of troops from Iraq with the goal of removing all combat forces by March 31, 2008.

Explaining the bill, Obama said it reflects his view that the problems in Iraq do not have a military solution. “Our troops have performed brilliantly in Iraq, but no amount of American soldiers can solve the political differences at the heart of somebody else’s civil war,” Obama said.

Amendments to the 2008 Defense Authorization Bill

Obama worked with Sen. Kit Bond to limit, through this bill, the Pentagon’s use of personality disorder discharges in the FY 2008 Defense Authorization bill.

This provision would add additional safeguards to discharge procedures and require a thorough review by the Government Accountability Office. This followed news reports that the Pentagon inappropriately used these procedures to discharge service members with service-connected psychological injuries.

“With thousands of American service members suffering day in and day out from the less visible wounds of war, reports that the Pentagon has improperly diagnosed and discharged service members with personality disorders are deeply disturbing,” said Senator Obama. “This provision will add additional safeguards to the Department of Defense’s use of this discharge and mandate a comprehensive review of these policies.”

The Comprehensive Nuclear Threat Reduction provision

Working with Sen. Hagel and Rep. Adam Schiff, Obama authored this provision, which would require the president to develop a comprehensive plan for ensuring that all nuclear weapons and weapons-usable material at vulnerable sites around the world are secure by 2012 from the threats that terrorists have shown they can pose.

A provision from the Obama-Hagel bill was passed by Congress in December 2007 as an amendment to the State-Foreign Operations appropriations bill.

“It is imperative that we build and sustain a truly global effort under an aggressive timeline to secure, consolidate, and reduce stockpiles of nuclear weapons and weapons-usable material to keep them out of the wrong hands. The comprehensive nuclear threat reduction plan required by this provision is an important step in that effort,” Obama said of the provision.

You know they are having trouble when the first example is that Obama added amendments to a bill that was never voted on. LOL.

Obama? Change washington my @. The incumbent isn’t running. Anyone is “change” from the status quo. But the last thing we need is some pendulum swinging backlash to the other extreme– which is EXACTLY what he is. With just as much inexperience, “audacity”, doublespeak about “unity” (I guess unity so long as we all follow him)… he’s essentially the liberal equivalent of GWB and if we haven’t learned by now that it was his qualities as much as his policies that failed…. we perhaps deserve 8 years of Obama which will be every bit as bad.

Oh wait… GWB actually had some experience…. so Obama may well be worse.

I can’t believe how many people this man has fooled. Once again… a politician pops up who figures out how to play the mood… learn the lingo and say the right words to capitalize on it… parrot the right catch phrases… GWB did it 8 years ago, and BO is doing it now. Just a different audience, folks, in a different political climate. One extreme did poorly, so hey, let’s elect the OTHER extreme! There’s sound political logic for you.

When will people wake up and see the emperor for who he is? If it walks like a politician, talks like a politician…. His primary qualification, and job experience, is running for office.

What has he done since coming to the Senate? What did he do to “transform” politics in Chicago by the way–a political scene seething with corruption, cronyism, and machine politics? He didn’t change it. It helped get him where he is! Washington may not be ideal, far from it, but to let someone like this capitalize on that sentiment, tell us all what we want to hear, and con us all into electing him– believe what I say, not what I do– things can only get worse. Look at his record. Look at his friends. He is concerned about one thing: his political future.

It doesn’t even take rumors to see through him. A little research is perfectly sufficient to expose the lack of not only substance, but integrity. The same “community organizer” who went door to door to register voters contests his opponents’ signatures to run, forcing them out so he can run unopposed. His defense? Well, that’s the game. So, screw the people whose political voice was taken away because they didn’t sign in cursive? Fight for the people when it helps you politically, screw them when it doesn’t. yep, that’s change I can believe in. I can definitely believe he’ll change his mind, his allegiances, his friends.

Which side is he on? Seems to me it’s whichever is most politically expedient.

Take a look at what he’s really done in chicago. Who his friends are. For him to act like an outsider with his kind of connections is positively insulting to our intelligence. Look closely at who he’s supported… who he’s traded favors with… who he sides with when push comes to shove.

1996 Race for President of Cook County Board

Candidate 1 is a friend and fellow reformer- the challenger in the race
Candidate 2 is a multiterm incumbent, the classic political machine appointee. He represents everything Obama says he is fighting against, right? Of course Obama supports him right?

Wrong. He stayed quiet… at least, for a time. When candidate 2 suffered a stroke and was replaced on the ballot at the 11th hour by his son, Todd Stroger, Obama *backed him*.

And here’s another shocker for you: guess who is a superdelegate supporting Obama? Hint: his initials are T.S.

THIS is change I can believe in?
Will someone please change the channel. I’m really getting tired of the Obama infomercial.

I sincerely hope that America wakes up and sees that our desperation for a new direction has been seized by a good old-fashioned political opportunist. Folks, we’re being had big time. We need to stop seeing him as who we want him to be, who he wants us to think he is, and see the real man behind the curtain.

The reality of Obama is going to hit us sooner or later—I can only hope that it will happen before we make a dreadful mistake. Please, America. Look closely. Are you SURE about the Emperor’s new clothes?

I don’t understand how Obama supporters can think they can win people over by being hateful and cyber-bullying people that love Hillary.
