MO’s Wardrobe Malfunction?

Robin Givhan of WaPo concludes her article, entitled A Judgment Call That Comes Up A Bit Short, with this:
Avoiding the appearance of queenly behavior is politically wise. But it does American culture no favors if a first lady tries so hard to be average that she winds up looking common.

Robin Givhan, the fashion master at WaPo is of course talking about America’s renegade FLOTUS, Michelle Obama and the subject of her deep contemplation is this picture of MO getting off Air Force One for her mini Grand Canyon vacation. Her shorts are too short and looks like her left nipple is sticking out. Hurray for feminism!
I could not care less about what she wears and how she wears it. But the media lapdogs like Robin Givhan and others have spent umpteen pages on MO’s non-existent fashion sense and this and that nonsense. Nobody cares if MO is a fashion icon. She is a mother of two and certainly not a model to be paraded on the run way in a bikini. But as a side note, you will recognize that MO is the kind of person who would do it if she thinks it will make her popular and different, just my opinion. I think she is into that sort of cheap thrill. If the media lapdogs are propping her up giving her pseudo-props for fashion sense and what she wears, they have made her the object of discussion inviting counter points from people like me. Their spin on that picture is how confident is MO with her body. Give me a fucking break!
Here is my beef. Why has she not used her rebelliousness and thrill seeking to bring some worthy cause some attention? Granted we don’t have queens in this country but the office of FLOTUS still has some cache’ and some power and privilege. Could she not use it to do some good? All she has done so far is use that office to have fun, rake up some media hyped fashion gossip with her stupid and cheap thrill inducing appearances — as in that picture.
MO, do some good with the power and privilege American people gave you!
