How many years will it take to place people in to take over our country? But this is my position and I don’t really give a damn. I will state it clearly then I won’t ever respond to any comment you make.

I won’t be coerced into giving my vote to someone I believe is unworthy. The evidence has been given and the testimony listened to, the decision made. I understand you see through a different prism and I took note of the truth in some of your statements. I don’t have a solution to the social ills in African American communities, but that doesn’t mean they don’t exist.

Many of us have been shocked by Sen. Obama’s relationship with people and groups of Blacks and the philosophy of separation reflected there. One bizarre example was presented by Rev. Wright. The rejected theory that African American children learn with a different part of their brains which I believe is very destructive. It absolves Black children from studying science or mathematics due to a lack of logical thinking. This theory, if true, would not only exclude those subjects in the circulum eliminated by the theory, it would require segregated classrooms. There is no need to go into the relationships he has had with others who share a radical thinking.

So what are we to take away from this? There are laws prohibiting discrimination and they fail to make a difference sometimes. The population of African Americans in prisons is greater than other races. There is police brutality and lack of justic in courtrooms. What are the solutions? Electing Sen. Obama as president, in spite of the historical signifcance, will not change these inequalities because, with no intention at insult, this man is ambitious and ruthless and has been less than honest on many occasions. He is not devoted to health care and if you know someone who is ill and needs the care of a doctor, this won’t change with his presidency. If you believe his plan to give you a little money as an incentive for the economy, perhaps you can tell me how this is going to happen. What about his energy program after it has been pointed out he hasn’t allocated nearly enough money to cover the cost?

You believe unquestionably a white woman will be less adequate because of her gender and race, but do you believe because a man is Black he will be more able to address those problems we have, some of them urgent? Have you thought beyond, “It will be cool” to have a Black president?

I have one more thing to say to you. Take your accusations of racism and shove em.

Some of us were called names and even ostracized for our stand and some gave their lives. So many accusations of racism and all in the name of power, not equality. You are dividing the country, not Hillary or Bill. They are my generation and they believed they could make changes from the inside. You may not understand what kind of people they are, but some of the very people they helped get a start in politics know. And those who have turned their back on them to support a man only because of the color of his skin have damaged you beyond what you can understand now.

He’s an odd, obsessive man: reminds me a bit of Glenn Gould–another extraordinary but odd person, who may have had a mild form of autism known as Asperger’s Syndrome.
