    Major Troll Alert!!!

Namejacking occurring on other threads while making racist comments!

    • memyself&i

Representatives of Just Say No Deal has to bring up this issue up when they are being interviewed on television. A small percentage of Obama supporters are pretending to be Clinton supporters and/or McCain supporters and making racial and sexist attacks in order to discredit Just Say No Deal and McCain supporters, even going so far as stealing people’s names.

Obama supporters (including trolls), what are you hoping to accomplish by posting here?

See my reply just above. When you e-mail me, be sure to include a complete copy of the comment + the link to the thread in which it’s found. WIthout all that info, it’s very hard for me to find the comment and take care of it. Thanks.

They need to leave or their abuse will back fire.

Make sure you never hire people you suspect of being an Obama supporter. It will make the work place a better place. You will reduce the chances of frivolous lawsuits and increase productivity. Check their car for all those bumperstickers they like so much. The entitlement mentality is easy to identify in casual conversation.

Make sure your work place is free of anti-American, anti-business, pro Obama leftists.

Thanks and have a great day.

    • Hillary4Obama08

Thank you for asking, NY still loves Hillary.

I post here frequently and have used a few different names (close to the one above) because anti-Obama bloggers have stolen my identity and said VERY inflammatory things.

I post here because a) I appreciate the open format here or any forum for that matter that tolerates dissent. b) My messages, which deal more with I perceive as Senator McCain’s grave deficiencies (on the issues)and what what I perceive as Senator Obama’s strengths (on the issues), are aimed more at the untold numbers of independents and undecideds as well as Hillary supporters who have secret missgivings about voting McCain. I sometimes use humor and hyperbole to get my point across, but it’s all in good fun. and c) I read these threads because in spite of the gulf that separates my beliefs from most of those espoused here, I have actually learned some things, which have both heightened my respect for Clinton and complicated my view of Obama.

Bottom line, Barack Obama is not perfect. He is a flawed politician just as Hillary is. But, on issues like the war, healthcare, education, jobs, the environment, reproductive rights and civil rights, he more closely represents my views than John McCain. Thank you.

      • http://www.marcysmutiny.blogspot.com/ MessyMarcy

Your welcome. But since John McCain has a proven record of working on issues such as campaign finance reform, whereas Barack Obama has a proven record of being for sale to people and organizations like Rezko, Exelon and the owners of the Maytag plant in Illinois, I’ll be voting for McCain.

And it doesn’t matter what policies Obama stole from Hillary and is trying to pass off as his own, because he will continue to do in the future what he has always done in the past — vote present or flip flop; so I’ll really enjoy voting for John McCain.

And finally, if you have any connection with the Obama camp, would you use your influence to get them to name Claire McCaskill the veep nominee. Next to Obama, she is the person I will most enjoy seeing lose this fall.

      • memyself&i

        Can you be more specific?

        NAFT

During the Ohio primary, he said he opposed NAFTA. He would renegotiate or pull out of the treaty. He no longer supports this position and says it was “heated rhetoric”.

Heated rhetoric is something said in the heat the moment. This position was a calculated, plotted position to get votes in Ohio. It was in his mailers. In the debate when he was asked “Senator Obama, simple question: Will you, as president, say to Canada and Mexico, ‘This has not worked for us; we are out’?” Obama’s response was “I will make sure that we renegotiate, in the same way that Senator Clinton talked about….I think we should use the hammer of a potential opt-out as leverage.”

We should have listened to Canada when they said a high level Obama adviser had called to warn them that Obama was going attack NAFTA, but they should not worry because it was only camapaign rhetoric. When this report came out, Obama’s campain dismissed it and said, “senator Obama does not make promises he doesn’t intend to keep,” the spokesperson said.” ROFL.

Not only does he break his promises. Obama has a pattern of making promises with the intent of breaking them.

This is only one example of why Obama is unfit to be president. I recommend you need to do more research on him.

It would help if you were more specific when you say Obama is better than McCain on issue X. This way we can have the debate you say you desire.

      • alee21

Hello, Obama is a liar. Every promise he’s made, every statement he’s made, he has backtracked or downright lied. And to think the media & Obamaites/Obama went on and on about Bosnia.

Everyday between now and November will reinforce the image that Obama is just one big lie. He is so deep in lies, he can’t remember what he’s said.

    • SusanUnPC

I think they’re just messing around. Maybe we don’t fully grasp the internet like Obama’s supporters do. I always wondered whether it was necessary for Hillary to give out her campaign’s full URL address in every speech despite the fact that anyone with a computer could just google ‘Hillary.’

Five minutes of Cavuto the Smug was all I could take. I’ll have wait for the video.

  • SensibleWomanNOTforBO

Whoa! Watching Cavuto interview Maurice Hinchey as he questions Hinchey about nationalizing the oil industry. This is getting scarier and scarier.

    • ginaswo still says no to Uhhbama

the Dems are IMHO on the wrong side of this issue now

I am a tree huggin bleedin heart lib (or was until I saw what they act like) and I am ready to drill offshore if the states want to do it…

      • SensibleWomanNOTforBO

I’m still studying this particular issue to determine which way I believe to be the best way to go. At this point I can’t honestly say I could make an educated decision.

What concerned me about that interview was the idea of nationalizing a major industry. I will say I’m not comfortable with that idea.

      • Boxer Mum 06

ginaswo, I’m with you on that! Especially after hearing that China is already drilling in the waters near Cuba. I wonder now, is this really about the environment or just filling the Pelosi and companies bank accounts? How much are they making from these higher gas prices? Really makes you wonder.

    • memyself&i

Nationalizing our refineries. Think DMV. Does anyone believe the government can efficiently run these refineries(think DMV lines)? Does anyone trust the government to set prices (think DMV fees)?

If they cared about the environment they would prefer we drill domestically because here, we have standards for environmental safety. Countries like Iran, Saudi Arabia, Russia, Nigeria, China, Venezuela, do not.

Major oil spills take place during transport of oil. If we drill closer to home, that would actually reduce the risk of oil spills. http://www.endgame.org/oilspills.htm

Modern technology makes it possible to drill while protecting the environment. A lot more oil and gas bubble up from the bottom of the ocean than comes from drilling in deep sea.

China and Vietnam have made agreements with Cuba to drill off the coast of Florida. Does anyone believe they will protect our oceans better than we would?

Our economy is in serious trouble, the housing crisis hit us hard, but the oil prices is making it worse and preventing us from recovering. A weak economy benefits Obama in the election but it hurts America’s economy and national security.

One reason I will not vote for Obama is because he not only goes back on his promies, but he has no leadership skills to handle crisis. Americans are suffering under these high oil prices. He opposed short term relief when he opposed a tax holiday. Instead of coming up with an alternative plan, he blamed Americans for the problem. He said, “we can’t drive our SUVs and eat as much as we want and keep our homes on 72 degrees at all times … and then just expect that other countries are going to say OK”. I think this was a version of “the chickens are coming home to roost”.

Senator McCain sees that high oil prices threatens our national security and economic security. He knows we are an oil-based economy. We cannot transition to a green energy economy overnight…not even in a few years. We cannot solve the problem by focusing on the demand side. We must increase supply. We cannot trust governments like Russia and Iran who do not like us and would be happy to see our economy fail, to increase supply.

Drilling at home is an important component of Senator McCain’s plan to make this nation energy independent. He also has plans to increase our use of alternative, clean energy and to slowly move us towards energy independence.

If environmentally conscious Norway has found a way to drill of its coast, America can do it too. Otherwise, we place our national security and economy in peril.

      • SensibleWomanNOTforBO

Thanks for providing this perspective. It gives me some food for thought.

Today someone at a workshop I’m attending kept saying “Obama won the nomination”. Yikes, there are so many ways that is a lie, where to begin? Let’s see, vote stealing and the fact there is no nominee in August do come to mind!!

Yesterday someone at the workshop gushed about “dreams from my father” and when I mentioned there are many lies in that book, he ignored me.

There are many leftist, elitist types at this workshop, yesterday someone made fun of Texans.

Help! I can’t take it!!! Thank God for No Quarter, it’s good to be able to come here and visit reality.

The scariest thing is how much these lefties think things will change “when Barack Obama is President”, as they put it. Hello? Do we need to write a sequel to 1984, titled “2008″? Today someone was talking about political repression AND fawning about Obama, it was freaky.

Thank you for letting me rant! Fortunately this conference is NOT about politics so there is not much ObamaSpeak, otherwise I couldn’t even be there…

  • DirOfTheObv

Paula does not speak for me.

Sounds like Paula is flipping over for Obama.

She really cannot speak to us or for us for what we think.

She is being way too coy and comes off as a woman, flirting with a man in the media…she’s eating up the attention.

    SIUYA!

So who was the woman on before Paula?

I thought that was the person we were looking for.

      Disregard above….

    • Dakinikat

I don’t know … she was all wait and see, anything can happen … I’ll support the “eventual” nominee …

she actually seemed to have some information about something … i thought it was all very mysterious.

        I thought so too. Interesting.

Where is Democracy if Democrats cannot dissent? Thank God for NoQuarter. I usually just lurk here, but plan on hanging out here more. At this point, Barry’s numbers are as good as they are going to get imho. All of the Clinton supporters who were going to go to him on the unity pony have done so. Anyone who went with him on “issues” (?) have seen his position change to 180 the original position he took. His original base is starting to see the clay feet. If you haven’t read the scathing piece at blackagenda.com, you haven’t seen people angry. The 527′s haven’t made a peep yet. The ads from McCain are still nicey nicey. This is the high point of his numbers. Mark ‘em down.

Can anybody tell me what Obama’s position on abortion is this week. I am seeing some anti-abortion fundies who seem to believe Obama is more on their side than McCain. If Obama has reversed his earlier position on abortion he will bring in Fundies. I said nobody would know who was really behind Obama until we saw what was being preached from the pulpits. If I had a TV I would have the Jesus Channel on 24/7.

Anyone could eat half a pound of meat and shit something better than Blitzer.

Paula was fabulous on Cavuto! The way she’s being treated by the Obamonsters is horrible and reprehensible. I met her at McCain’s HQ on Saturday and was very grateful she set up the meeting.

Note to Obamabots: The treatment you continue to dish out to Hillary’s supporters will just make us stronger in our efforts to resist Obama’s illegitimate candidacy. Your efforts have resulted in our being permanent enemies. Please keep it up so we can defeat Obama.

I have a question. There were 2 Hillary Clinton supporters on his show. Were they both part of Just Say No Deal?

  • Sue

Barbara Layton was the other woman on Cavuto – she is a big fundraiser & friend of Hillary’s. I was on a conf call w/Hillary this afternoon – was pre recorded and the passion was in her voice – except for when she mentioned *61 and supporting him and wanting all of us to support him too – She sounded stunned when she mentioned all the hate towards women and said she will be addressing this issue – she didn’t say anything about releasing her delegates – just said we need to elect a dem in november – Barbara Layton had this mona lisa like smile when cavuto kept pressing her – you know something, you know something & she just smiled & said you know what I know……………….Go PUMAS

    • memyself&i

Thanks for answering my question. I am glad she was not speaking for JSND when she said we would fall in line for Obama if he is the nominee.

MY open thread questions of the day is why are the Dems caving on Telcom immunity? Get ready for another BO flip flop…

    Congress revives surveillance bill
    Posted: 06:26 PM ET
WASHINGTON (CNN) — House and Senate leaders Thursday announced a new effort to overhaul U.S. wiretapping laws that appears likely to let telecommunications companies escape lawsuits over the Bush administration’s warrantless surveillance program.

The bipartisan plan is scheduled for a Friday vote in the House of Representatives and has the backing of conservative Democrats, including Majority Leader Steny Hoyer.

“We must always remember the awful terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001, and keep in mind there are still those who wish to do us harm,” Rep. Dennis Moore, D-Kansas, said in a statement from the conservative Blue Dog Coalition.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid gave the proposal a cool reception, however, and Sen. Russ Feingold, a leading critic of the eavesdropping program, called it “capitulation.”

Fish was speaking as an official campaign surrogate, alongside Daniel Weitzner of MIT, who appeared for Barack Obama, at the Computers, Freedom and Privacy conference in New Haven, Connecticut on Wednesday.

Daniel Weitzner, an MIT research scientist who has been advising Sen. Obama on his technology policy, said Obama’s position is clear.

“Sen.Obama has voted against immunity, retroactively and prospectively,” Weitzner said. “Sen. Obama has supported all along that when government surveillance techniques are used that there must be real meaningful oversight and real checks and balances.”

While Weitzner did note that McCain did not vote against immunity, he gracefully admitted that the votes were “complicated.”

Ever find it odd that you are all about people who made their careers sullying the Clintons? Very amusing indeed. One year, Bill Clinton is yelling about Fox bias, this year, it’s his wife’s campaign surrogate favorite (at least she is smart enough to not run with this). I love Hilary, I hate you people!

Once you take away the illusory security appartus, the republicans seem to fail, psychologically, almost as if their omnipotent protector is removed, daddy, or GOD, inhibiting their ability to defy the law, as they know they are not protected, and might actually be held accountable for their crimes.

You break the bubble, their reaction, though, is chaos.

No balls, no brains, small children, even the fiercest bully brought to his knees, unable to compete in a world that has passed him by.

So he reverts to chaotic asymmetric attacks, which brought him to his weak position in the first place, or he concentrates again on gaining power, until he kooks out, and again makes an attempt to grab power, prematurely, with a fatally flawed foundation.

And he must do so immediately, to reestablish a sense of security, however illusory.

But in doing so, he exhausts his own resources, each time cycling down, handing over more control to his enemy.

He’s not bright, as his need for power is motivated by fear, terror, really.

    That, and he’s batshit insane.
